3561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think Ripple (XRP) will rise to moon. on: February 11, 2020, 05:15:17 PM
Ripple is not like the other coins, the market doesn't affect ripple as much as it affects other coins, which is why when the market is going up, ripple wasn't doing anything too big.

Still, if they can get some more money involved, or if they sell the ripples they print, that affects the market insanely. Just recently they have printed ripple out of thin air and sold it on market, which caused the price not to go up during a bull market, if they keep doing stuff like that unfortunately they will be one day long gone and everyone will forget them.

However, if they can instead use the profits they make to buy and burn ripple instead, they could get higher and people will talk about them forever. Its literally in the hands of the team behind ripple to decide how they want to be remembered (or remembered at all).
3562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you looking at tokens that are not top 50? on: February 11, 2020, 04:27:38 PM
There is also people who work for bounties as well? I mean those people are basically throwing out their time to help out the under top 50 coins, or even maybe coins that are not even ranked, so that that token will get some sort of attention. In the end they are basically putting effort and not putting money (some even put in money) but that is still a viable reason why they are "looking" at the tokens that are not top 50, working is looking if investing is looking too.

I don't think people really care about coins that are top 50 that way, they see the top 50 as investments and solid ones as well that they can buy and hold, whereas outside of top 50 it becomes more about "how much more money can I make from this" and just becomes more gambling and not investing.
3563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 100 Days Left before Bitcoin to be more Scarce on: February 11, 2020, 02:40:05 PM
I don't really know what you mean about being scarce, if you mean a time when the cryptocurrency won't be available for anyone that wants to buy it, then I'm not going to believe that. There are trading platforms and every time people are buying and selling. There is not a day you will place a buy or sell order and it won't be processed due to lack of assets to purchase in the market or whatsoever lol.

It is still going to continue going round even after the whole coins are lined, there will still be coins for you to buy and sell. I do believe that after the halving there is going to be an increase, but I'm not sure about that. I can really predict the future of Bitcoin, all we can do is just to speculate on the price.
3564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really still decentralized?? on: February 11, 2020, 01:45:21 PM
You're getting it wrong, Bitcoin is decentralized but most of the exchanges that we all know today are centralized. So these exchanges are the ones that made everything seem like it's centralized.

There are decentralized exchanges, but people are not interested in making use of these decentralized exchanges because some of them thinks that they are difficult to use and there is no protection in place since you're trading p2p, unlike centralized exchanges like Binance where they act as the middlemen and carry out the trades themselves to protect their traders from the getting scammed; one of the advantage of using centralized exchanges. So, there is nothing like Bitcoin being centralized, it is decentralized except for exchanges, and not all exchanges are centralized.
3565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Transactions on Smartwatches? on: February 11, 2020, 01:15:56 PM
I have been making use of a smartphone and it has been working perfectly, I have never had any problem with using a smartphone to store my cryptocurrencies and also for a transaction. As for using a smartwatch, it is something that the devs need to look into and in this case it would be best to recommend it straight to them so they can look into it and see whether it is possible.

I once used a smartwatch and its really cool, but to be honest I never used it for anything else except from checking time lol. I did see other features in it and you can even receive WhatsApp messages on it, but I still preferred my smartphone to it. Everyone's choice differs and like I said, it's up to the devs to meet up to that.
3566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance to help Coronavirus victims on: February 10, 2020, 08:35:16 PM
It must be a good thing from Biance, they deserve lots of appreciation from this community, but unlike many people predict I doubt that coronovirus  will impact Chinese economy, of course it will have "some" impact on it for a while and that is still an impact, hell we have seen the results of the impact already with the economical withdraw and even some nations trying to find manufacturers outside of China and all. However the people that said yes should be divided into two.

One has seen these impacts and imagine that will be a long term issue that will have consequences for a long time, and the other who saw these impacts and think that is about it and nothing more. I am one of the later where I think the impact is already there and that's it, I do not think that in year 2025 we will still be talking about this, that is not going to be a thing in just a year probably.
3567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BSV and BCH are all set for halving before BTC Halving... on: February 10, 2020, 07:54:05 PM
Oh they are also having halving? I simply forget the fact that they are all following all the economics of bitcoins which means halving for BSV and BCH may happen around bitcoin's. But, it will be nothing having to do with entire market like how litecoin' s second halving failed to shake the entire crypto market, like that this halving also may pass without any significant marking on crypto space, I just speculate by observing what they were doing since August of 2017.

If this upcoming halving boosts BSV and BCH to test its current ATH then we may see it may start providing impacts on crypto space. I am not sure about BSV but I remember BCH once valued up to 0.5BTC. So, recovering up to ATH in BTC value may not possible.
3568  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitdouble.io |social gambling game |Prov fair | 0.005 mBit faucet | New PVP game on: February 10, 2020, 06:45:43 PM
I guess this could be totally unrelated to the previous one, or even if it is somehow related like maybe sold to someone new or whatever, I feel like it is still brand new and should be judged accordingly instead of the past problems of the old days.

For example, even the new version now have a problem where stakefast mentioned that his 500 affiliates were all gone and he basically has no one left in his list, that is a problem and it is one that should be fixed immediately if bitdouble wants their platform to be liked or at least marketed by people, it is these affiliates that brings these websites so many users that will gamble.

I know the website is its infancy and there is still months, maybe years before they can be a serious contender but that will never happen unless they actually start off decent from day 1 and listen to feedbacks and solve the problems.
3569  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EarnBet.io - The First Player-Owned Casino 🎲Provably Fair 🎲BTC ₿ on: February 10, 2020, 04:48:39 PM
Another issue where Earnbet made a decision by themselves without asking anyone. I have talked about this before and I have always supported the idea that a decentralized casino should be in fact a decentralized one, not just in finances but the decision making process as well.

I would like explain that I am not against this one, the more competitions that goes around in earnbet, the more money we could possibly get so I am definitely in favor of competitions, but I was once again not asked about it and the earnbet team themselves sees it fit that they want to do this competition and did it, without any approval from anyone at all. That is why I feel like maybe this place is getting a bit out of hand and that is why I have discontent with it since the finances are shared but the management is not.
3570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 10, 2020, 03:20:35 PM
Rockets didn't just lose to any team, I get that losing to Suns was a bit bad but they were lacking Westbrook there, now they lost to Jazz which is actually a good playoff team that may even pass the first round if they are lucky, so losing to jazz is not really a big deal. However, they were outrebounded was again, I understand that they are shorter than any team they face, however with harden and Westbrook being able to grab boards that well, I was assuming they would have high flyers going above the rim instead of tall guys waiting for a ball to reach them.

I still think even if they want to keep the starting five this way, they could simply just get one tall center for bench purposes, they can't trade for it now but they could get one from free agency if there is any left, just for a bench help.
3571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would make you stop gambling? on: February 10, 2020, 07:54:43 AM
are there any things in life that would make you stop gambling?

the two things that come to my mind are:
- making enough or a lot of money.
- finding a passion (even relationshiprelated or life/activity related) that changes your priorities.

but can you see other things than that?
Your second reason will not make people to stop but it will push for less frequency than previously how they were doing. I believe people will gamble for entertainment reasons also will never stop regardless of your two reasons. But, I agree they may low-prioritize gambling which means they do gamble once in a while as they do have other passionate thing to engage themselves with.

I guess for an online gambler, moving to a remote place where only slow/no access internet and free electricity shout down kind of things may enforce stopping gambling as they cannot continue gambling like how they are enjoying in a city life.  For a physical casino visitor too, moving to some other place where no casino available kind of thing might work toward stopping gambling as long travel for the reason of gambling may not work in long term.
3572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What p2p games will you play? on: February 10, 2020, 07:11:05 AM

If you have noticed recently there was promotion about the P2P betting site related to binary trading (BETLLER.IO) it was stopped already and I guess only few are playing against each other. I have not see other p2p gambling sites but what sort of games do you think will work for p2p that you think you will play?
Due to the reason of looking for quick results out of their gambling, P2P type of gambling is not getting famous. I have seen many simple games like mine sweeping and chess games under P2P mode but due to lack of support from the crypto community, now a days almost all the houses are doing them H2P mode. We need quick result so only houses will be available to play against us at any time.

For the same reason, dicing is more famous among this crypto community. It provides instant results and we play againts houses so our opponent is alwys waiting for us to begin with Wink.

Sportbetting must be kind of P2P but group VS group kind of thing. If I look for what P2P games, I am into right away means that is only sportsbetting alone.
3573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this time to Sell altcoins before BTC Halving on: February 10, 2020, 06:23:04 AM
Careful is great but I think you are pessimist with halving can increase bitcoin price in future, realistic perspective but sell all altcoin is not wise. We can see this is up trend and halving could become nightmare, there's possibility will turn red again after split but trend is trend. Follow the trend, find potential altcoin to safe your asset, such as ethereum with their 2.0 program. Chance to make money always there, you only need to explore market and minimize risk before replace fund.
Few selected coins would be on the list of experiencing bull runs at the initial stage which includes bitcoins, etherum, ripple, EOS, etc. Holding these coins in the current bull runs would make our capital grow vigorously hence it would never be preferred to sell in the start of the bull markets.

The price for bitcoins had never crossed $10k in few past years and now bitcoins crossing the limits brings some positivism among the holders. Bull runs can really show us a great future and this year, the halving process is surely going to accelerate one. Being patient is the key to success in these kind of bull runs. You can sell few alts which might not be affected by the bull runs and move onto some beneficial coins which would surely give you benefits.
3574  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for an investor for a project on: February 09, 2020, 06:52:05 PM
Okay, we know you are here for $500 but that will not work here as per I have seen for years. Like you, many people had posted for partners/investors but that never worked. Because, people here will not trust strangers.

I like to suggest you to look for an investor from your friends/colleagues/neighborhood/relative group. That alone will work practically. People who know you physically may invest by trusting you.

.gg domains are free domains as per I was told by some web experts. (even you would have been holding an .io or any other premium domain nothing will change).

Those newbie people who replied here may be/may not be your account. But, please understand people here are fully knowledgeable on awareness on protecting themselves against internet strangers. So, unlike any other forum, random vouches will not work on this forum as we have a system whom to trust.

If you are serious on your project, lock this topic right away and talk to people in person to convince them to invest in your project.
3575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: For newbies only on: February 09, 2020, 03:16:45 PM
There might be some platforms which might replace the original application with a scam one by loading it with some malware so it might not be trustworthy to directly download the apk or any suitable application from the web directly but instead play store or app store verifies the application for us which makes the application trustworthy.

You can always check for the number of downloads, reviews, screenshots, etc to make sure that is the same application you wish to download. A number of advanced malware have been running into the markets which could steal your private information and make it publicly available. Hence you should try to avoid installing any unknown applications onto your device.
3576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie in trading cryptocurrency and forex on: February 09, 2020, 02:11:27 PM
Hi guys I would like some guidance and a understanding on trading I’ve been all over the internet and I just don’t know who to trust and get valuable feedback from what are your opinions on trading as a whole and in what direction do I take my first step
I've asked this question severally on this forum and I can't find a single straight answer, its risky they kept saying, there will be gains and losses, that's the fact, my own way of trading is buying when bitcoin is down and wait for it to rise and I will sell again and rebuy when its down
No matter how many suggestions you would get but it entirely would depend on yourself about which trading strategy you want to use and how do you want to have profits. Even in trading, there are a number of ways to earn profits. There also are various kinds of trading which includes spot trading, margin trading, futures trading, etc and it would entirely depend on yourself about which trading you want to select to start gaining profits.

I would suggest you to go for lower risk trading which is spot trading. That is the same you are currently doing. But perhaps the profits you would be getting in spot trading with bitcoins might be much lower and in order to start increasing your profits you can move onto some other potential coins who have lower price but higher volume.
3577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone doing the Ethereum staking? on: February 09, 2020, 06:04:09 AM
I’m thinking about doing the Ethereum staking but joining a pool. Anyone know if it’s going to be worth it?
You can use some reputable platforms to stake your coins. You can also find some platforms which allow you to stake you coins you earn dividends. You can try binance staking platform linked: https://www.binance.com/nl/staking but I am not sure if they allow you to stake ETH at the moment but yet there are some other coins which you can stake on the platform. You can choose a better coin with good ROI and try to stake there.

Choosing trustworthy platform for staking is the basic step and you should never choose a scam platform to stake your coins because you would never get profits from such coins. Binance is in the queue for a while and it can be trusted for staking our coins so you can convert your ETH to some other coins which are been allowed by binance for staking.
3578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ETH] I was scammed on Youtube. What to do? on: February 08, 2020, 06:25:31 PM
After seeing what happens to you, I don't think you can do much or hope your personal ETH is returned. but I see that the fraudster's ETH address has become ashes or pishing, and the fraudster will never be able to enjoy the loot from your assets. other times beware that In this cryptoqurrency world nothing is truly free or becomes rich overnight.
Transaction in the blockchain is absolute and it can't be rolling back after the transaction gets a single confirmation by the block. What he can do to make sure if he will never try to join in any suspicious airdrops again in the future. There are a bunch of scammers around us and we must always be careful anytime in any situation.
Never to deal with such kinds of any promotions that promise huge benefits. Study and assess if there's any potential in case you are really looking for any investment or any contest that will lead you to provide money or your time. Scammers are just around waiting for people to runaway their money. Be very careful and spend time with your research.
Usually we should strictly avoid schemes who provide higher returns because earning that money easily is not really possible. That is just a trick used by scammers to attract some newbies and scam those innocent people. OP lost a good amount of ETH which he was been saving from a long time. This only took place because of the greed OP had in his mind to bear higher profits. This explains us how riskier our greed can be.

This is the time where we should kill our greed and move onto some another task where we could only earn with our hard efforts and never to run behind freebies. Scammers have a evil nature and they would never feel pity for anyone so the chance of them returning your money is actually "Zero."
3579  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Warning about a dishonest bitcoin investor calls herself Alicia from Mexico on: February 07, 2020, 11:31:37 PM
Telling you to open a scam accusation thread in this forum will not help you, neither will it even help anyone. People really needs to start making use of their senses.

You shouldn’t trust just anyone you see because know for sure that there are lots of scammers in the cryptocurrency community and when using cryptocurrency there is nothing like protection in place, you’re taking the risk for yourself and any money you send to someone who is a stranger, there is no way to get it back except they decide to send it back to you. So, stop trusting people and stop doing business with people you don’t know.
3580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Regularization in Different Countries on: February 07, 2020, 10:42:17 PM
Dear Community in 2020 How many chances of Bitcoins Regularization in Different Countries.
Bitcoin Has now more than 10 Years old. But in most of the countries it is still illegal.Due to Government Behaviour most
Exchanges and Projects are not allowing people to participate in the said Projects.Even Running Exchanges are Banning The people and not Returning Funds. We should start the campaign in favour Of Bitcoin.
Sometimes I even question the decentralization of cryptocurrency. I am not saying this about the government issue, but we that are into it how much have we done to promote the idea of decentralization?

Sometimes I will find some good projects and airdrops to participate and when I try to participate they will tell me that my country is not allowed. Such thing piss me off. I once tried to participate in an airdrop on Coinbase and they wouldn’t let me, so are we also going to blame the government? The way I see it, decentralization is mean to bring the world together and not separate. But whatever... it may take more time than I am anticipating.
