3561  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: A. Antonopoulos’ Take on Seed Splitting and Bruteforcing on: November 09, 2021, 07:47:28 AM
My suggestion will be to obfuscate the seed, not to look like a seed, when you do split it. I have done this in a way that 4 family members will be able to put my seeds together, if something happens to me. They cannot do anything with their portion of the seed and my lawyer has the instructions in my "Will" to explain to them what to do. (Eg... make a sentence with the Seed and give the template to the lawyer to put it all together)

The fail safe will be to give an encrypted video to each of the family members, with instructions on what to do, if something happens with you. (The password to decrypt it, is with the lawyer and he does not know what the password is for)  Wink

A very interesting choice for your domain, because most service providers will not "block" sites like this, if it is in a restricted country... because it is not clear from the name that it might be a gambling site.  Grin

I like the No KYC requirement ...but I have found from experience that as the site grows, they change that policy to satisfy the regulatory entities. (Speaking of regulations.... where are your license?)
3563  Economy / Economics / Re: Preparing for the future. on: November 09, 2021, 06:40:46 AM
You can have all the High Paying Skills in the world, but it will mean nothing if there are high unemployment and stiff competition for work in this world. We have seen huge disruption in business with this whole Covid pandemic and a lot of people losing their jobs due to "lockdowns" ...so the competition for work has just increased more as a result of that.

A lot of websites has jumped on the bandwagon to pitch courses for high paying jobs, but people cannot afford it or it does not help them.. because jobs are scarce.  Roll Eyes
3564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin ever get regulated on: November 09, 2021, 05:39:50 AM
Crypto currency regulations are a ongoing process, because the Governments around the world are trying to curb it's freedom. The different legislative branches of governments are trying to find ways to stop anonymity and the free flow of Crypto currencies, without government oversight.

We know in the USA that the White House is considering a detailed executive order that will seek to tighten up oversight of encrypted digital assets. The Ransomware scandals and all the crimes that are linked with Crypto payments are now expediting this process.  Angry Angry Angry
3565  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: A Bitcoin Marketplace for everyone on: November 08, 2021, 01:28:35 PM
So a problem I might see with your implementation of the voting system, might be a rouge group that might use this voting system to exploit the changes that might be pushed to the "protocol" or the software.

We currently see bots and people being paid to "like" or "vote" for a specific change on other platforms, so why should this be any different with your system? (We even saw people using cloud services to simulate full nodes to push a specific fork)  Roll Eyes

How do you validate legitimate votes?
3566  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do spectators now know better? on: November 08, 2021, 11:35:23 AM
Spectators (Couch Coaches) have the luxury to make calm decisions, without any stress at home, because they are not under pressure. A lot of the actual coaches have to make split decisions based on 1000's of strategies that has been discussed with the players in the week before.

The coaches might also have information on the players, that are not available to the spectators. Some use a GPS tracker to track player performance (eg. the number of sprints made, the distance covered, and how the player is dealing with the workload and also nagging injuries to players)  Wink
3567  Economy / Gambling / Re: OFFERING MY INDIANA RESIDENCY TO PLACE LEGAL LEGITIMATE SPORTS BETS on: November 08, 2021, 11:26:46 AM
Your Indiana residency provides you legal rights to gamble in that location, but the moment when you allow other people from other States to gamble on your account, it becomes illegal. (Go read the fine print in the ToS)

Also, what happens if someone use your account to launder dirty money from Child pornography or drugs or even money derived from hacking. (They will trace it back to you... and you will be held responsible for that)  Roll Eyes
3568  Economy / Economics / Re: Firefighters pension fund invests 25$ million in crypto on: November 08, 2021, 11:18:21 AM
Even though Bitcoin might be regarded as a high risk investment, it is good for these pension funds to take some risk for possible high returns. The 0,5% investment of the total Pension fund is hardly a drop in a ocean ...so a total collapse in Bitcoin will not even hurt it.

The $25 000 000 investment can be one of their best decisions in a couple of years... or it can go to zero. (I have seen 800% profits on my Bitcoin investments, so I am very happy with my decision)  Wink
3569  Economy / Services / Re: I'm Back, Mt.Gox Just Returned 22 BTC of Mine on: November 08, 2021, 07:02:37 AM
So you completely ignore #dkbit98 (Legendary Member) warning post and just continue posting as if nothing has happened. If this was posted in my thread, I would have jumped on it.. to explain my side of the story.

In any way, your Exchange was hacked back in the day ...so why should people trust your new project? Most of these supposed hacks was inside jobs and MtGox was just as suspicious.  Angry
3570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: USA Bitcoin mining, development, running nodes, transfer >$10K now felonies on: November 08, 2021, 06:20:18 AM
I think it does not matter who they are targeting for this law, because it's intent is clear.... strip Bitcoin's anonymity and get as much taxes as possible from it. (It will first target the big players in the industry and then it will be amended to cover everyone, if it was not applicable to them)

You get this type of things, when you have a president that can hardly finish a sentence ....How will he have the attention span to comprehend the full impact of a law like this. (The Puppet masters behind the scene are pulling the strings... he just fondles the young girls)  Roll Eyes

Bitcasino.io

Yggdrasil Gaming and Dreamtech Gaming can really make more games like Glory of Heroes! ... I got the feeling that I was going back in time to play my old favorite arcade video games with video-game style level progression.  Grin  (So it is not mundane and boring like most other Slots that just gives you the same thing over and over again)

The possibility to get 50 Free Spins are also on the table, so it is something to look forward to. Thank you for adding this game Bitcasino team... it really took me back to my younger years. (Retro gaming on ZX Spectrum)  Grin Grin Grin Grin
3572  Economy / Gambling / Re: If your games aren't provably fair, stop claiming they are. on: November 07, 2021, 01:21:02 PM
I am so glad someone has the knowledge and balls to come out and to take on these claims. Some of these sites are using "Provably Fair" as a tagline and a industry standard ..as if it has no meaning. (Not a lot of people have the knowledge to question them)  Angry

In gambling.. trust is everything.... we trust the site has the bankroll to honor the winnings and that the bets are fair, so this should not even be a talking point, but some operators still think all gamblers are idiots... and that they can get away with stuff like this.  Angry
3573  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-11-05] Why Bitcoin bears are trying to keep BTC price below $62K on: November 07, 2021, 09:56:21 AM
Well, it was clearly not the "Options" and the whales invested in that, that were holding the Bitcoin price below $62 000.  Roll Eyes  There must be something else that are holding it there....

We should watch the Bitcoin addresses of the large whales and the Exchange cold wallets, to see if there are a slow dump from one or more of the big Bitcoin hoarders. (Keep a close eye on the Tesla coins too, because they will not dump in one big sell....to provide for liquidity at a higher price.)  Wink
3574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China is the biggest user of digital currency, its just not bitcoin on: November 07, 2021, 09:38:46 AM

https://www.theregister.com/2021/11/05/digital_yuan_140m_wallets/

You lot won't like this, but here is a digital currency that is actually used to buy things. Something that bitcoin has failed to do in 10 years.

The writing is on the wall.

I will rather have Bitcoin for the following reasons :

1. Bitcoin are not controlled by a dictatorship.
2. Bitcoin give people the control over their own wealth. (The Chinese government can freeze accounts/addresses or block transactions)
3. Bitcoin are used globally..... not just in China. (Borderless)
4. Bitcoin have a fixed coin cap ....consensus will never be reached to increase it.

Those are some of the reasons..... and there are loads more... but the biggest reason will always be  ..financial freedom!!!  Wink

3575  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Crash Gambling Website! betbitcoin247.io on: November 07, 2021, 06:55:44 AM
The thing is.....

Showing an expired license without any notice that it is in the process of renewal are fraudulent and it does not build trust in your site. Trust is everything these days, because there are a lot of competition out there, with legit licenses.

Also, claiming that you have a massive gambling community without any proof.. is also casting doubt on your honesty. So I will suggest that you clear that up with facts as soon as possible. (Taglines are questioned .. example : Saying... "We are provably fair... but when people verify that, it turns out that it is not." )

Trust is Everything!
3576  Economy / Economics / Re: Fed will shrink liquitity on: November 07, 2021, 06:35:12 AM
The federal reserve can raise short term interest rates and start selling bonds as much as they want, but they can only keep up this house of cards for so long. There will come a time where nothing they do, will be able to prevent the house of cards ..coming down hard on top of them.

The markets are bloated and the debt are increasing and the government are printing more and more fiat currencies to manipulate the economy, but that is just one huge smoke screen... (Tax payers will soon have to pick up the bill for the bailouts again)  Roll Eyes
3577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Gambling increase due to the pandemic, stats, UK on: November 07, 2021, 06:21:31 AM
People now are staying with their home and its some of them find those leisure time in playing gambling which is more risker because they ignore the money some of them want to satisfy themselves. This is the reason why some people even though in online gambling gets more debt. The best thing to do a someone told them to stop it's not the gambling platform because they want to earn it's about their family and close someone who helps them pull out to the gambling addiction.

The problem with a scenario like this is.... people are not getting their regular income from their work, when there are a lockdown... so they should not spend money on gambling, if they are not getting their full salaries. A lot of companies are trying hard to survive and they are paying employees less to retain them... but they are making less profits, because business are not booming.  Sad

Now people are diving into their savings to gamble, if they had or they are using their credit card to gamble and that is when things goes wrong very quickly.  Angry
3578  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Watford FC Main Sponsor - UFC Official Betting Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: November 07, 2021, 05:59:33 AM
I recommend you if you want to hunt for challenges choose the game that was just released in the first week or when no one has hit the high multiplier
Based on my experience new games always provoke new users to play some kind of addiction effect

It's a daily challenge. First to beat the target multi wins $1,000

Yes I see so I mean we choose a new game to hunt like Kodiak Kingdom this is a new game released then put into the challenge unfortunately someone already managed to claim it. Avoid old game for hunting.

Well, there are a lot of money going into the new Slots, but we do not know if the money going into it... actually goes into all games provided by the service provider and then distributed to the games... or if it goes into specific Slots as people play them.  Huh

You have to remember one thing... the goal of the challenge are there to get more people to play those Slots... so the same thing happens with people playing "new" Slots and more people playing old Slots because there are a challenge on them. (Both gets more attention and money being pushed into them)  Cheesy
3579  Economy / Economics / Re: What's the best advice? on: November 06, 2021, 11:56:42 AM
My advice to my kids would be to "stay kids as long as they can be.. kids" ..... Play games indoor and outdoors and also enjoy your fiends and your family.... because they will treasure those times when they grow older. The hamster wheel of 8 to 10 hours working for money and paying bills and home loans, will be a part of their life ....for the rest of their lives.

Do not jump into the stressful world of the "grownups" too quickly, because you have the rest of your life to do that. Enjoy the holidays... look after your health... and make friends for life.  Wink
3580  Economy / Economics / Re: Legalising would give a chance to Latin America on: November 05, 2021, 06:53:11 PM
Most of the women and girls that are being trafficked for the sex trade are being drugged to get them to become dependent on the drugs that are forcefully given to them. It is not just about taxes ....but rather the dark side to the drug industry..that are wrong in so many ways.

I have had friends that stole from their mothers and family members.. just to get money for drugs... and I know of several house burglaries and car hijackings that was done by criminals to pay for their drug habits.

So hard drugs are linked to many gruesome crimes and that is why it should not be legalized.  Angry
