Updated the OP to reflect the successful loans.

As much as I like Litecoin, it's just another alt chain that isn't Bitcoin. IMHO there should be some normalization of alt coin exchange rates based roughly upon difficulty, market cap, and block reward.

Lightlord, didn't you design the i0coin logo?
Steelhouse, aren't you that nutjob that wanted the block reward to be something like 1 coin or some shit?

PSST. If you're trying to build rep, don't say you're doing a transaction just to build rep.
Dudes, what else do you suggest? Time machine? I think heart_mons is being honest here and he should be rewarded for that, not made fun of. FWIW, I listed his threads up in the "How to spot a scammer" thread as soon as they went up. And I also initially flagged his account in the "Post-count pumpers (soon to be scammers)" thread (albeit not for post-count pumping). I hope I'm wrong!

This topic is a spin-off of my "How to spot a scammer" thread in the Lending section, which I'd urge you to read first before attempting any transactions here. It's geared more toward loan scammers, but a lot of it is applicable to Goods as well (tangible and digital). How to protect yourself:1. If you're thinking about purchasing anything from a relatively new user from this forum, ALWAYS USE A TRUSTED ESCROW.Yeah, that's about it. It's so simple I don't understand why people don't do this ALL the time. Good luck, and happy deal hunting

Good to hear! Thanks for the update.

Grats on the successful loan. I'll update the status in my thread accordingly.

.0006X now. I suspect people are reasoning that since PPC is about a third as difficult (coins per day speaking) to mine as LTC, it should be priced accordingly. That would put it around the .002X level; hence the run-up... There's still a long way to go though.

Looks like he seems to have lost all interest in posting when it became apparent he wasn't getting a loan. That's often a fairly accurate indicator it was a scam to begin with.

I have 100 TRC that I'd sell for 3500 PPC.
LOL love the conversion rate. 3500% more value in TRC than PPC. Hey, I'd take 4000 PPC too

There are some new loan requests showing up that fit the typical scam cookie cuter template. Lenders beware.

LOL well played, sir. Well played

thanks tomato. I'm glad to see we can make peace.
NP, but I'm not really trying to make peace so much as I'm just calling it as I see it. Your activity speaks for itself through content of your posts and history of debt repayment. Good luck with your loan

You can move threads that you create. Lower left link on the page. I just did it with one of my threads, but it leaves a trail of redirects and ends up looking messy if you keep moving it

Wouldn't this be better served in Currency Exchange

Attn Newbies: If you're going to make an account and request a loan shortly thereafter, THIS is how you do it. Notice how Lurk has good forum posts that actually contribute to the topic. He has a small track record of successful loans as well.

Weird. No activity for well over a year, the out of nowhere a Moneypack deal. Something doesn't seem right.
