(again off-topic, but the thread title "general help questions" might be misleading...)

Can someone give you a negative trust just because you posted something he doesn't agree with?
Trust is not moderated. Whilst that doesn't corresponds on how trust is supposed to be used (the guidlines given by theymos), as everyone is free to use the trust system as they like,
yes, it's possible to receive negative (and positive) trust for all kind of things.
How reputable (-> "trusted") the person that leaves such ratings however is, is a totally new, different thing to look onto.

Can you receive a negative post not for scamming but because a forum member does not like you and wants to smear you?
Same answer, however, none (experienced) will fall for such feedback, most people just ignore feedback that is obviously "fake"/retaliatory.

A new Q - I've noticed on this thread nobody's trust ratings show up including my own.
What determines whether a person's trust ratings show up on post?
You only see trust in the marketplace section
That's not entirely correct, trust is also shown inside the Trading Discussion Forum (and it's subforums Reputation & Scam Accusation).

Huh
Ok the code I tried was :
I've replaced [ with <
] with >
If you want to share code, better use [code ][/code ] tags instead of altering the code itself.

Thanks Lutpin.
Any advise on how I build a table using BBcode. I've tried using the table icons on post reply board & also the following code.
But Neither seem to put a physical border on the table.
Code:
[table][tr][td]SMF[/td]
[td]Bulletin[/td][/tr]
[tr][td]Board[/td]
[td]Code[/td][/tr][/table]
You can use "|" as seperator between table lines and [hr ] as seperator between table rows.

|SMF|Bulletin|

|Board|Code|

For example like above, which would be the following bbcode:

Code:
[table]
[tr][td]|[/td][td]SMF[/td][td][/td][td]|[/td]
[td]Bulletin[/td][td]|[/td][/tr]
[hr]
[tr][td]|[/td][td]Board[/td][td]|[/td]
[td]Code[/td][td]|[/td][/tr][/table][hr]

Help! I started a thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1492576.msg15024485#msg15024485 But my images are not displayed
what am I doing wrong? I placed
Newbies can't post images, besides, rather make a new thread than derailing an already existing one about other problems.
3564  Other / Meta / Re: General Help Questions on: May 30, 2016, 07:11:14 PM
1) I'm using the command e.g.
Quote from: poptok1  link=topic= 1492363
but I see other users posting User & date what is the HtmlBBCode for inserting that in a post?
Click the quote button on the right side besides the head of each message, you'll get the prewritten quote code.
For your post right now, that would be:

Code:
[quote author=wallet4bitcoin link=topic=1492363.msg15023908#msg15023908 date=1464635289]
-snip text-
[/quote]

Of course you can type that "per hand" aswell, but it's much more convenient to just use the quote button.
Code:
[quote author=poptok1  link=topic=1492363.msg15021568#msg15021568 date=1464621651]
[/quote]
(Full link to the post itself, not just the thread page [you get that by clicking on the #Number besides a post], and times are in unix timestamps.)

The symbol was GMC now it is Game?
Yes, the shorthandle changed from GMC to GAME, but as nothing changed about their addresses, that shouldn't influence your whitdrawal in any way.

I tried a few exchanges and the address I get from them are invalid on Crypto-Games.
We're aware of a small problem and currently are working on fixing it. Your withdrawal (if pending) will be sent out soon.
After that, everything should be working as it used to again.

3567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: site like blockchain.info on: May 27, 2016, 02:52:59 PM
What I'm weary about is the fact that search engine results often displays these sites at the top of results. As a result, more and more people who doesn't pay close attention to details often gets scammed and lose money.
They are getting adwords advertisements for those sites, which is something different from being a top result.

Because they try to phish your login information to steal your bitcoin?

Report the PMs containing the phishing links (to Cyrus for example).
Usually, that's a perma ban for the account.
I've also left some negative trust to warn others in the meantime.
3576  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Bitcoin Casascius Bar Originally Unloaded on: May 26, 2016, 01:04:03 PM
Strange there is not any 1btc bars listed here: https://casascius.uberbills.com/
Because that is not a 1BTC bar?
It's an unloaded bar that later was stuffed with 1BTC by OP.
Just have a look at the hologram, saying "ZERO BTC" on both sides of the firstbits.

Meant the bar value without bitcoins. Funded with 1BTC probably lowers the value of the bar itself.
I have to agree.

Me neither, although you would have to decide how you settle the goodies (DIY coins) in that case.

Wann soll der Groupbuy stattfinden wenn er laufen sollte, ich bin die nächsten Wochen leider wohl recht wenig im Forum unterwegs.
Sobald die Coins international verfügbar sind, geh' ich mal von aus.
Mein letzter Wissensstand dazu ist Mitte 2016 ("at least till Summer 2016"), afaik gibt's bisher kein genaueres Datum.
