What, the moon?
Is there any reason to speculate on this? Has NASA announced they will install a webserver there with a active node?
...
Next step: Distributing the blockchain to the entire universe.

can somebody translate this to English? I wasn't aware that gibberish was an actual dialect. That's googletranslatorish. He seems to just have registered a company on glbse. Called Asic:russia or so: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi2.imageban.ru%2Fout%2F2012%2F10%2F04%2Fdaee5b618c77ee72f3db34ae8ea5fb5d.jpg&t=663&c=sLdoYZ6RjdKWzg) Only to have GLBSE shutdown after taking his register fees. That would piss me off, too.

What makes you think he is burning that list?
As for your example, you may find it is indeed illegal and you will be liable for the losses if those loses are the result of gross mismanagement and/or if you didnt properly disclose risks to your investors etc.
To clarify my standpoint. Scamming has to do with ethics. ethics != law (sometimes it is sometimes it is not) /GoK Either way, I dont think you can argue someone would have to break the law to avoid being labeled a scammer. If Nefario does what he (legally) can do to return the assets and bitcoins to their owners, then I fail to see a reason to label him a scammer. Theymos should know better than that, it seems he is just pissed his investment didnt pan out. Tough luck for him, he should have done his own due diligence about the legality of running a security exchange. Not quite if Thaymos says the thrus here about GLBSE funds the Nefario is indeed a scammer. GLBSE user funds are more or less safe, but I have bad news from the GLBSE shareholder meeting.
Nefario has, without a shareholder motion and in violation of the bylaws and GLBSE ToS, decided to close down GLBSE. Users will be able to collect deposits only after submitting identity info. A similar system to the one that Goat was forced to use will be provided so that assets can be traded elsewhere.
He is also illegally using user deposits to pay for his lawyer. If he continues, the GLBSE cash reserves (which I manage) will not be enough to cover costs and GLBSE will be in debt to users.
I'm very sorry about this, but those shareholders who are sane are helpless against Nefario and the insane shareholders who for some mind-boggling reason think that closing down GLBSE in this way will help both themselves and GLBSE users.
Since Nefario refuses to give complete details about his legal concerns and he has been acting strangely, I feel that it is somewhat possible that Nefario is working under some sort of plea bargain and is gathering IDs for future prosecution.
Nefario has defrauded me and others in several different ways and deserves a scammer tag. - The BitcoinGlobal bylaws state that BitcoinGlobal's purpose is to operate GLBSE. By shutting down GLBSE without amending the bylaws, Nefario has violated the bylaws. - He has stated that he would ignore any motion to remove him as CEO. - He is knowingly making BitcoinGlobal shares worthless, violating his fiduciary duty. - He is refusing to release my GLBSE balance without my ID, which I did not agree to.
Since my GLBSE shares are now worthless, it should be obvious that I had no knowledge of this before now.
I urge everyone to never work with Nefario again. A Bitcoin stock exchange is a good idea, though. I hope that someone will create something better than GLBSE and MPEx.

Wait, if you dont participate in the referral system do you still make a return on ur deposited BTC? Or it just kinda chilling there...doin nothing...
You are getting always your deposit +10% back. With reveals you increase your payback by 10% of what this person deposited, and more important, your hashrate increases (see post above). So if someone deposits 1BTC with my reveal, he gets 1.1 BTC back (after mining them of course) and I get 0.1 BTC (after mining them of course, too).

When a thread like this gets to be 14 pages long (or more), does anyone actually read EVERY post or do people just read the last few and feel the need to chime in?
As I' only able to remember the last 3 posts I read, it makes absolutely no sense to read the whole thread. Wait, what was the discussion about? Kidding. Most people in such long threads are in there from a very early stage, so no need to read it all over and over again.

Can anyone lend me 4btc if I pay them 4.5btc back by end of November. If it's late an additional 0.25btc per month after November on top of the 4.5BTC. I've been on the forums over a year and have run RSM on the GLBSE since Feb.
19TFphro2T7RJn8B6V3yaYTogirPyog3ke - payment address

I would do so, but I would feel like a credit shark if I charge over 10% interest for <2 Month. I give you 4BTC and you pay me back 4.3BTC by latest 30. of November 2012? You do so unrequested. If it late your debt increases by 0.25 BTC per month. Please quote and confirm. Confirmed, thanks, please pay the quoted address. akka not to be nitpicky but i love the press forum and i love the iso dates and mixing non ISO date format with iso date format is confusing to me, so can we pick a date format and stick to it?
IMO the international standards organization's version of a proper date format is great because its easily sortable and makes sense in the counting number concept of reading from 'most significant' to 'least significant' from left to right
2012-09-21
YYYY-MM-DD
Sorry, I will use this formate in the future. Edit: Corrected my threads. You know, that's the sort of thing PMs are good for.

Ja! Natürlich. Überrascht es mich? Nein!

Ohh, come on. Really? That makes me a bit envy. ... Ok, not only a bit. And it's only at 50%!

Well, you don't make quick money with it. It really takes long until you see some returns.
Also compared to other investments the 10% (+x% for reveals) you get on your investment aren't that much.
Also consider, that there is no withdraw option. Once you have sent your coins there is no turning back.
So consider carefully before joining.
For me, my first account is completed. Deposited 4.57 BTC got 6.63 BTC back in about 4 Month(got some good reveals). My second account is about 13% after 2 month.
If you really want to joint up look closely into your sponsor. Your sponsor will get 15% of your Hashing power until he is completed, his sponsor 7.5% and the next level 7.5% too. If they are completed this is given to the next active account. So you get faster returns when there are fewer active accounts above you.
You can preview your sponsor before joining, by clicking on sponsor in the upper right corner on the pyramining page after you have clicked on a reveal link.
