3561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you see the true bear market coming? on: September 19, 2021, 10:06:46 AM
Okay, let's put into the presumption about the true bear market but that only happens when Bitcoin will fall back at $20k (just for me).

But, I'm not sure if that moment will come as we are getting into more adoption and people had learned already to hold than getting into panicking which could create such a huge market crash drama. I know everyone is aware of the current situation, though we saw some correction, however, even we see more on the uprising trend and even altcoins are still on the rally. Honestly, I'm not seeing this last 2018 OP.
3562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With all your assets, Investing in Bitcoin is really a madness or beneficial ? on: September 17, 2021, 03:01:21 PM
both can happen, namely the risk as well as the benefits. all that we will get depending on how we invest in it. It should be underlined that selling all assets owned to invest is a big risk. many people are greedy and also want to make a quick profit, even though many are not too familiar with bitcoin investment. bitcoin can be crazy for people who really can't follow the flow of the crypto market, too hasty and reckless are some of the reasons someone experiences losses.
Some did that, it was a big sacrifice on their side but look, they multiplied their finds more than twice during Bullrun. That certainly be madness but the results are good and not regretful. Maybe if they sell all their assets and put them into the wrong investment, that certainly sounds crazy but as they invest into the thing that really has the proven positive results, it all be the right decision had made. That is totally a risky decision but it was the willingness, ain't that a problem anymore. Perhaps, these people had trust towards Bitcoin and so they did this.
3563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still have thoughts of picking Gold over Bitcoin, read this. on: September 17, 2021, 02:34:06 PM
Bitcoin and Gold both are good investment platforms. It depends upon the investor whether he prefers Gold or Bitcoin for his earning.
The person who is working on Gold for a long time and has well experienced in the gold business. He will do this business The rise & down of the gold price is not very fast. But The ups and downs are part of crypto and Bitcoin. So the person who feels comfortable in the Bitcoin business. He should do this. This crypto business will start with a small amount also but this is not in the gold business.
If you can afford to take a higher risk and are smart enough, you definitely have to choose Bitcoin. We can't see Gold move so fast unlike what we've experienced in Bitcoin's trend.

It is not about that if you were in the Gold business you will die keeping on it. No, I don't think so. If you have the reason why you are in this investment world, you'll probably be choosing those investments that can give you such satisfying returns in a shorter time.

Lime if you bought Bitcoin today at $45k, this might become $100k a year after (as an example) but this was impossible to happen in Gold. Yes, you can expect some increase of the price but not that much as Bitcoin can do.
3564  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dinabot *** Instant exchanger for Stake and Primedice on: September 17, 2021, 01:21:37 PM
I like this kind of feature, we don't have to go through exchanges to exchange our coins, but I'm just curious, do you have plans on adding more sites so we have a lot of options? I believe stake and primedice are sister companies, so is this only limited to companies that are own by one person only?

One site that I used was Betnomi, I can convert my withdrawal to any altcoins on their list. may I know your opinion, which is the better platform, Dinabot   or Betnomi?
3565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: September 17, 2021, 12:52:34 PM

Impression are different on each other this is why some doesn't really care for being a trashtalker but some are really that hateful on what they've been seeing and hearing about Casimero.

What matter most here is on how he would handle out Inoue and justify those kind of conclusions that he had said in the past on beating him up but I don't see that it would be that simple

on where beating off a beast which is still undefeated nowadays.

Trash talking is just a spice in the fight, the majority of the fans love to see how the favorite fighter will beat the trash talker. In this fight, we know that Inoue is the favorite to win, while Casimero is the trashtalker, so even though Filipinos support Casimero, still the majority of the fans all over the world are supporting Inoue to win. So for Casimero, beating Inoue is a big success that is going to be his ticket to get bigger fights and that means bigger money.

He badly needs to fight Inoue so he can make his dream into reality, this is the biggest fight of his career (probably), so win or lose, I would still support Casimero because even if he doesn't respect his opponent, he still bring honor to our country, and I'm matured enough to understand how marketing in boxing works.
3566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Timing is important on: September 16, 2021, 09:41:10 PM
Sometimes our emotions and greed forget its function, how to use time in it because we always ignore time which is so important to survive a little so in trading it takes patience in this case, everything will be right if there is no pressure you do it at least the time you know when to buy and sell it.
There's no need to target too fast if it hasn't fully provided you with a definite opportunity I had to understand how to find the right time.
Patience is the key in trading to survive and I'd say how difficult it was when you are trading with emotions. I know that this is normal and we sometimes get bored of waiting and even thinking negatively but as we are in this field we don't let our emotions controlled us, success is not far to happen. We can't be at perfect timing but at least we are getting the favorable price when selling.

That is why trading isn't for everyone as many people having a hard time controlling their emotions which is a big influence in decision-making and most of the time it was the reason for losing.

3567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 16, 2021, 08:43:51 PM
Have you guys seen the rumors on social media about this Daniel De Guzman who is giving tips for PBA games?

Allegedly, the SMB-Ginebra game was rigged. The accuser even posted some text exchanges between him and De Guzman.

How was that rigged? what was the exact message? I didn't see anything in social media regarding that but I'm interested to know as rigged games in the PBA is a very interesting topic especially if you are betting on games.

Quote
Do you believe in this?
Yes, but it would be more believable if it's backed by some evidence, I want to see what are the information in the text messages.

Read the news, looks like it's a hot topic now because it's a big accusation but Daniel de Guzman denies the accusation. \

3568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: G A M B L E R S ❗❗ What are your thoughts on this? on: September 16, 2021, 08:20:13 PM
I would choose casino B because it's more advantageous to play against another player and not just rely on luck but rely on skills, luck is something you don't have constantly every day, so it doesn't make sense to take money and bet on a game where the person just count on luck
That's the kind of attitude I like to maintain, I'd be more favored on the probability than luck because we can never be consistent if we only always count on our luck. This is gambling, although some people say that we should play it for fun, there are games that are more exciting when we are challenged and that is a challenge between player to player.
3569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Legalization. In Ukraine and now Laos on: September 16, 2021, 04:04:58 PM
Asian nation Laos to legalize Bitcoin mining and trading

I am suspicious on the word legalize. It can be used inaccurately and I think we will need more time to see it is really a legalization or just a fake news, a misleading term using on media.

I mean terms like ban, legalize can be used and misled by social media and whales.

They simply predicting what will happen next even it wasn't officially announced by the lawmakers. That is certainly misleading.
Social media are too fast to collect data which I don't think that it was reliable enough to make a statement and publish it online, I think it should not be the thing to do as people will think that it was legal already if they will not read the content of the news.

Of course, this could get some attention, and think that it was officially legalized. But I'd never think this could uplift the market situation and brings a positive response once they know it was fake news, it might give them the reason to ignore it.
3570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 15, 2021, 09:44:42 PM

The parlay wins but i didn't managed to bet as I was watching the game and thought that NP will continue their first half run,
but TNT start to convert during third quarter and established double digit leads.

Not for me this time  Grin bisdak40 though got 1/1 still good in result, tommorrow another sets of games.

For those who loves the underdog,

DYIP @ 3.90 against Bolts @ 1.22  1st game

Blackwater @ 6.40 against NLEX @ 1.08

Good luck !!

Yeah, not bad for me since I've got one out of two and it is not an easy win for Ginebra as that is a come-from-behind win, only Phoenix didn't sink those baskets in the dying minutes of the game.

Not good betting for the underdog this time as every win matters because 1/4 is coming therefore my bet:

Bolts -8.5 @1.97
MLEX -12.5 @1.86

Good luck on us all.

Blackwater seems to be a team that has no chance of winning but that -12.5 is quite scary to take for me. Well, anyway good luck to you mate, you are brave enough to back on NLEX with that high spread, I think if Blackwater would lose, it would not be that high as they are desperate to win.

Yeah, that is also what I'm thinking but looking back on their previous games they lost almost on a two digit lead and i have lost betting on them also when the spread was +10 plus.

Anyway, it's just me and it's gambling, you may win or lose but the important thing is we enjoy what we are doing and we know what we are doing also.

I agree with you @bisdak40, this is gambling and we don't know the outcome of the game, we have to follow our own instinct, and IMO, since Blackwater has been losing in the previous games with a wide margin, I don't expect them to win against a good team like NLEX, or even cover the spread.
3571  Economy / Speculation / Re: More Investment to Bitcoin? on: September 15, 2021, 08:39:00 PM
Some country are now accepting bitcoin as currency and the billionaires is now hoarding thousands of Bitcoin. Should I wait for the success of El Salvador's implemetation of bitcoin before investing?
I think if they become a more successful country by accepting bitcoin, others will implement too. There will be more investors and the bitcoin will be pump again?
I just hope I'm not wrong this time.  Huh
I'm not saying you should but as you can see that Bitcoin has a huge impact on the community right now. It comes to consider that the current situation (pandemic) gave us the favor.

If you have money and are willing to invest in Bitcoin, you'd better do it now. Many people have found themselves in regrets for not seeing Bitcoin before where the price is cheap and I don't want you to blame yourselves then for missing this opportunity coz I can see that Bitcoin will become more valuable in the future.
3572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How has Bitcoin Changed your life? on: September 15, 2021, 08:09:04 PM
Having Bitcoin actually gives me an opportunity to start a business, yeah, I gain some capital which is enough for me to start doing business. Many people had said it was a scam thing and now, I've proved to them that they are wrong. In fact, they are in asking me now. Maybe I was selfish but I'd never tell them. I just told them to make their research as that is what I did before. My point here is that I don't like to be blamed for whatever happens to them.

I just conclude that Bitcoin is a great opportunity for those who wanted to have a better living, not a thing that we just ignored.

3573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are people still using DeFi on Eth? on: September 14, 2021, 11:22:49 PM
What do you think about DeFi on ethereum at the end of 2021? It doesn't seem to you that this is an absolutely bottomless pit living your money on transactions (unless you are a millionaire, of course)
Heard about DeFi on Solana or Near? When will such blockchains completely replace the losing Ethereum Network?
I'm 100% sure that it never happens. Defi projects don't have the potentials to get rid of the Ethereum network, in fact, most of these projects are worthless, some are able to survive from the said market competition but the majority of them have been abandoned already. With that particular scenario, we can never foresee such possibilities. Perhaps, the use of the ETH network is still in high demand causing its gas fees to still keep high, maybe the BSC network would have a chance.
3574  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The risks of using Bitcoin on: September 14, 2021, 10:52:31 PM
The Risk of using Bitcoin:-
Risk of Losing the Private Key or Password of the External Wallet Services. Bitcoin is volatile , price changing risk and if you are investing in wrong platform Or company. 🙏
This talks about security but talking about other aspects in talks of risk then this is where do mention about regulation or something attached to it knowing that Bitcoin isnt globally accepted which there are countries

or places in the world that do really prohibits out on making use of bitcoin or other crypto which simply means that we should be careful if we do really intent to make use of it.

Risk is also talking about volatileness of its price which is a common thing because it cant be called a market if it doesnt involved buyers and sellers.
The risk of losing its value is what mostly the people are thinking about, even merchants give that kind of doubtful support as that is really it be going to happen anytime. That is why we can see that many big and known establishments are still not adopting the system as they are worried about that, and asking what if someday Bitcoin will be crashed? We can't blame either and we are aware of those possibilities which couldn't stop from being worried.
3575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 14, 2021, 09:13:35 PM
Looks like John Wall and the Rockets are done. The Rockets announced they’re looking for a trade for him to find a new team. Announcing this publicly seems like a desperation move. Something must have happened for them to want to publicly beg for a trade like that. Maybe they’re hoping to get in on the Ben Simmons sweepstakes too.

I think there's a problem inside, it's not the players. Harden left the team because he doesn't feel playing with the team anymore, probably a problem in the management of the team, now John Wall will be traded, I guess many teams will go after him, and if the 76ers will trade Ben Simmons for Wall, I guess they are in the winning situation as they will get a good PG that could help the team to be more efficient.
3576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anderson Silva vs Tito Ortiz on September 11 on: September 14, 2021, 08:47:30 PM
I hope that in the future there will be more "exhibition fights", even though it's not exciting as it used to be, I believe that there may be other interesting fights with some fighters from the past!!

Exhibition matches will kill the real boxing industry. It's ok before but everyone is now up to it and that sucks. Other real boxers are not even happy with that. Don't tell me you like the next possible fight between Anderson Silva and Jake Paul? That was crazy to watch after that recent event of the latter.

Back to Silva vs Ortiz, I'm also one of those who got surprised. I see Ortiz might lose but not via Technical Knock Out on the starting round. After all, that was the fans wanted to see, a Knock Out win.

You are right, when they are fights for exhibition it does not give the same emotion, I honestly was not surprised that Silva won by KO, seeing the fighting style with his technique was much superior, however I did not see that Ortiz was very fit, either. Sometimes the athletes do not have their day, sometimes they wake up without so much strength, without so much desire and I think Ortiz went to that fight more because of commitment and pressure than because of preparation, although his preparation was good, he was not at the level, so it was demonstrated in the ring.

I hope that Ortiz has gotten a good learning and can recover emotionally, the fact of losing by K.O is something very difficult for any fighter.

I was more surprised that Ortiz thought he could KO Silva easily, in the first round he was already very aggressive like he was trying to finish the fight early, because of that, he lose his defense and he was not able to see the counter of Silva which hurt him and put him asleep. Hopefully, he will learn from that, and if he will ever fight again, he should be more careful, it's always good to make money while keeping yourself safe regardless of the outcome.
3577  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Give me some investment advice on: September 13, 2021, 03:48:44 PM
You must be prepared to take risks, if you do have some periodic investment plans.. don't put too much % on short-term investments, this is riskier. Better to put more % on long term investment, well like 60% (40% long term Btc & 20% for trade) and 40% ( top Altcoins 30% long term & 10% in trading).
That gonna be a piece of good advice but can't deny that many were still choose in a short-term investment like investing projects that are in hypes as they thought about quick investment return. Those who are in the middle and poor class will certainly choose the way that they can generate profit in a shorter time as they are concerned about the money which is very unlikely how rich people think about this and they choose for a long-term investment.
3578  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does a trader needs to be a full time trader to be successful? on: September 13, 2021, 03:06:50 PM
As the market is volatile and very technical, does it take full time to become successful in trading? or can some trade part time and still make real profit from the market?
Being a full-time trader doesn't guarantee our success perhaps most of them had able to succeed than those who are casual/part-time traders. We still don't know until you've tried, maybe you should in order to found it right or wrong. But as I've seen in my life, having a huge time spend on the market makes us good at TA which is very useful in trading. This becomes an advantage of being a full-time trader but of course, the results still depend on how you manage yourselves and your trades.
3579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [WARNING!] For gamblers using coins.ph on: September 13, 2021, 09:08:27 AM
<snip>
The rules of the coins.ph especially the major rules are based on the law of the land.

We should not be disappointed if we get our accounts block because ignorance of the law excuses no one, and when it says don't use your account for gambling purposes, then just follow if you don't want any problem.

Well, some people from before who uses Coins.ph wallet to send and receive crypto funds coming from online casinos were Ignorant. They've missed the company TOS which is the very vital step before using a platform. As result, their account was investigated, some of them were freeze, some had their transaction limit reduced.

Now that everyone is well aware about this rule, we can actually use another method to avoid our Coins account associated with online gambling.
I don't think they should be called "ignorant" as it is really has different meaning than what are being discussed here. Probably they just do not know that such terms exists so they're doing it. They're either not informed or they didn't read the terms of service of Coins.ph. Lets not pretend that we all are always reading those Smiley

No one will inform you as we are using an online platform, it's not like a scenario where you go to the banks and you can talk to the person that will interview you before you account is approved, here online, the set of rules are already ready to read and before you click that okay, make sure you read the TOS of the site, if you don't read, that will make you ignorant.

Indeed, that's the point, that's why the "ignorance of the law" comes into discussion because we can't complain on something that we have already agreed from the very beginning, that's a big insult to us because we sign or approve on the terms hat we didn't read. Bringing up this kind of topic will give a hint to anyone who is still not aware of the serious violation they are doing and its consequences in the future.
3580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 13, 2021, 08:24:34 AM
There are still 4-5 games remaining for Ginebra to secure a spot in the next round after eliminations. I doubt they will end up not winning at those 5. Alaska seems not that ready and competitive enough to enter the quarterfinals.

The same goes for BlackWater that I also think will not have any winning record.

No worries for Ginebra fans out there. Low chance for them to be eliminated based on the current standings.

I agree with that, but since they are the champion last bubble, we are expecting them to play better this conference, but it's not what we are seeing, so as a fan, I am a bit worried that they might not be able to defend their title and they will be eliminated in the quarter-finals or the semis.
