3561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 23, 2020, 11:17:55 PM
I think it's hard to compare both as they would not face in the PBA, Kia Sotto is still young and maybe by the moment Kai would play in the PBA if he would fail in the NBA, maybe Fajardo will not be in his prime anymore or maybe he'd be retired that time.

There's also other ways to decide which is better between the two, and that is by their achievement, Fajardo have already won multiple MVPs and Kail has to also prove by achieving the same, but if Kai would make it to the NBA, end of discussion, he definitely is better than Fajardo and all the big man in the PBA, past and present.

Yup, end of discussion on who's the better of them when Kai will be drafted by the NBA but still he has not surpass what record Fajardo has broken in the PBA  Smiley. Kai don't need to meet Fajardo on the court to be considered one of PBA's great player, all he need to do is to dominate when he is in.

When Kai was in high school, literally he is the tallest of them all but he never became a champion, why is that? He never lack the training and for me he is the one who got the best training of all the high school players in the Philippines but sad to say he  never have a championship trophy to show in the UAAP high school.

How about Fajardo, was he a champion back in his college days when he was still playing with the University of Cebu?  Smiley

I don't know mate since I only see him dominate in the PBA, I think you have followed his basketball career before the PBA.
3562  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else see a big bitcoin upwards movement coming very soon? on: June 23, 2020, 10:54:28 PM
I'm neutral, I still have doubts on the market, it could be bearish or bullish anytime but if ever it will be bullish and bitcoin will rise based on your prediction, I still think that bitcoin price will correct and we will go back to 4 digits. I'm more conservative right now after seeing how unstable the market is,  we are still struggling to break the $10k barrier and stayed at that level, last attempt succeeded but it was a short stay, bitcoin was dump thereafter.
3563  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Earning From Digital Ads Will Be Taxed (e.g., Signature Campaign) on: June 22, 2020, 11:49:45 PM
Nice discussion we got here, di ko alam may accountants and lawyers pala dito, tama ba ako? hehe..

Anyway, allow me to share my opinion regarding the topic, maaring taxable ang income natin pero personally hindi ako mag reremit gaya ng karamihan sa atin, kung baga, maghihintay nalang ako na mas matackle pa ang signature campaign income para mas klaro. Sa tagal ko na dito sa forum, never kung naisip na kailangan mag remit ng income natin dahil kung sa work, yung HR na mismo ang mag deduct ng tax sa sahod natin, so kung tayo ang mag remit nito, parang business na rin, or self employed tayo gani ng sabi ni Bttzed03... ayaw kung isipin ng ganyan dahil pag tinanong ako dito sa amin about anong work ko,,anong sasabihin ko, signature campaigners? hehe.. sorry guys, medyo complicated lang on my part.

That's the point, Bollick will have lesser burden as he has Cstand who is proven to be a very consistent player with this position.
Both will maybe compete in the future but Columbian Dyip has to acquire some players that would improve their line up as a team.

That would make Bollick to boost his team but not his individual stats compared to CJ Perez where he is the one who are generating most points for his team, it's an advantage for Bollick as a team but advantage for CJ Perez per individual stats.

However, Perez is still young, so I'm hoping that if DYIP won't improve, other team will acquire him and he will join a a team that is a championship contender just like what Romeo and Pringle did.
3569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 19, 2020, 01:19:10 PM
Anyway, I'm looking forward for a more positive update regarding the resumption of the NBA.

There's no definite date yet, right?
It's July 31 but they changed it to July 30.  Cheesy

Wow thanks.. that would be more than 1 month of waiting, but since that is final, I'll start to excite myself now.  Grin

Cousins would be a big help for the Wizards or no?
I think the Lakers already have good big mans, they have Howard who is still fully healthy until now, so they can let go of cousins if they want.

What do you think about this one?

There may be another great deal out there.
Dude tore his ACL. Yeah, take him but add an extra.
The injury could come back anytime and where would it leave the Wizards without him?
Chances of this being a large risk deal are high.

I don't know what is going on in John Wall's mind but ain't there any other options?
It's not that I don't believe in the skills of Cousins. It's the injury that I am concerned about.

I agree with you. This guy for 3 years has problems with injuries, and the younger will not be. His health is a great unknown, and form is not certain. Remember that Wall will also come back after a serious injury, it is not known how his body will bear the load. It will be a huge risk to base the team on these two players + Beal. Take him only as a complement to the roster, and if the form and health will be good, Wizards can become one of the leading teams in the East.

It's not really a big problem if they will get Cousins, he is not into a expensive contract anymore since his valued has dropped due to injury, but he can still contribute to the team, getting him doesn't mean he will be a starter,  if he is given a limited minutes as long as quality minutes for the team, I think he would be a great help.

His current contract with the Lakers now is only $3,500,000   .

3570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 19, 2020, 11:32:43 AM
It's actually hard to decide since I like both players, but since I have to choose then I will pick CJ Perez over Bollick.
Though his team sucks last conference but he showed he can give some life to his team and he has really improving per conference.

CJ Perez doesn't look fancy with the way he played but he is consistent as he can score and make good plays for his team.
Maybe because bollick was injured, I haven't seen most of him last conference so I pick CJ Perez, but Bollick was really good, he is also doing well with the Northport and he is a rising star IMO.
3571  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [MEGATHREAD] Pilipinas Coronavirus/COVID-19 Thread on: June 19, 2020, 11:06:14 AM
Not 100% related sa OP.

Rainy season na mga kabayan and, as we all know, the economy is still recovering after the 2-month lockdown.

3572  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Businesses in Manila accepting crypto as payment (hotels groceries, cars, houses on: June 19, 2020, 10:45:42 AM
It's kinda hard to find a merchant or shops that actually accept crypto payment here in Manila...

3573  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: June 19, 2020, 10:05:01 AM

Kaso nag error upon making the transaction.

Globe Innove Communications piliin mo, 9 digits ung account number.

Hindi pa yata ako nakapagbayad using coins.ph sa mga globe plans ko, usually from coins.ph send to money ko to gcash, then doon ako nag babayad, mas updated kasi sila.
3574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Home Court advantage = Not an advantage now because of no-live audience? on: June 18, 2020, 12:04:35 PM
It will be no matter if players will be focus on the goals but I think the game will be more different since there's no crazy crowds will clap or curse them for their playing style at that time so provably this will be equal, But although that would be the angle of plays still for sure the court familiarity will still show up since for sure you will get used to it when you are playing on your home court.

It will be equal, yes.. no other factor involve here and they are just playing in one venue.
That's why I've been longing for NBA to resume because I like to see them back in full action with no home court this playoffs.
it's a different playoffs and as a gambler, it's not hard to cap games as I don't need to analyze the home court advantage anymore.
3575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 18, 2020, 11:40:48 AM

I sure hope they gave up on that idea, for their own safety.

Exactly. More people involved, more risks from contracting the virus.
That's not gonna work I guess. If they seriously need to resume, they need to minimize the people who's coming in from the facility that their playing into, in Orlando  to be specific.
I understand how boring the game could be without the crowd, the families, and even friends, just the players from each team, coaches, and staff. But this is business, they need to sacrifice.

Agree with that, even if it's their family, we never know if they are carrying the virus as only the NBA players are betting monitored, they just give a little sacrifice as this is just temporary, they need to do this for the sake of safety resuming the season and they can finish it without problems relating to corona virus. I understand that it's a hard sacrifice not seeing their family, but for once, they have to do this as they are earning well and it's their job to make this business alive again by give the entertainment to the fans.

That's the right term, they need to sacrifice because they are a warrior that needs o provide entertain to us in this tough situation we are facing now.
If soldiers that earns only a little salary, I think they can also do that as they are earning millions.

Anyway, I'm looking forward for a more positive update regarding the resumption of the NBA.

There's no definite date yet, right?
3576  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin ang future shitcoin ayon Kay Mcafee on: June 18, 2020, 10:48:05 AM
I don't give a shit, Mcafee is the current shit, all his talks are non-sense, we should not take that seriously.

It's still fresh in my mind how he was shilling shit coins in the past just to pump it, that was easy money for him but a lot of investors got rekt on that.
Same with Craig Wright! Both are messing around the cryptomarket, those statements against bitcoin is a shit thing and we know the value of bitcoin and it will become big in the future. Those self influencer really used it to hype one coin for their own sake, stay away from these guys.

We know his statement is non-sense, his prediction alone that bitcoin will reach $1 million usd this year is already a non-sense.

and he really call his own prediction non sense. lol

https://cointelegraph.com/news/john-mcafee-calls-his-own-1m-bitcoin-price-prediction-nonsense

so how can we trust him? just erase Mcafee in any of your newsfeed or mute him so you will not be influence.

ang nakalagay dito are, "I want to buy" and "I want to sell" lang..

Deposit sa 7/11 or banks then buy bitcoin thru Coins.ph then send sa exchange.

Etong P2P parang lumang version ng exchange eh no?

3579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: "NEW NORMAL" Betting on: June 17, 2020, 11:19:51 PM
Totally agree! Life is important, the effects of the Coronavirus are untold and it will remain marked in the history of humanity.
<snip>

The effects are currently been seen among countries and it will take longer than expected to get.back out normal life again. Humanity will adopt new ways to interact with the day-to-day business in life, the sporting world has gradually be open and more are Still opening for a new world order. During the lockdown, many of my friends have learned on how the internet can be beneficial to humans. They have since getten into the sporting world, all the games they're currently participating are from the lockdown.

Some say that effects of pandemic and the fact that the second wave is a threath will prolonge the time to get to normal life. Some say that we will never have life as we new before, so the normal before pandemic. I'm not sure what will happen but I don't like the term "new normal".
Anyway, in current situation internet and new technologies play very important role in our everyday life, including in gambling industry. That "new normal" also brought more people to online casinos which is good from my point of view but still there will be people who would like to go to phisical casinos and I wouldn't like that they vanish because of "new normal".

The term "new normal" doesn't sound good IMO too as it looks like we are going to embraced this permanently, but for those who really have an idea and understands what's happening now they won't panic because the government promise that the vaccine is available next year.

Let's say it's the new normal this year but next year we will be back to our old normal which is what we like.

Telling the Clippers is already good without him when they battled GSW last year.  Grin

Clippers is a more improve team this season, they don't only add Leonard in the line up, they also have Paul George.
IMO, they can compete with the Lakers or team Lebron and Davis as Clippers have a superstars too, and they have the best 6th man in the NBA which is an underrated player, I'm talking of Lou Williams, this guy is consistent, he can drop 20 or 30 points a night if PG and Leonard will both have an off night.
