3561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 16, 2016, 06:53:41 AM
I bet on France ML. I knew they could win, as France has been in really good form lately, but that match was a bit too close for comfort.

In fact they almost didint win it. They can consider themselves lucky for now but they wont be lucky anymore when they get to the quarter final. If the coach doesnt improve their performance then france wont even be able to make it through the final game, it will be a total waste if they cant be the finalist

I  was lucky and won my bet because I had albania +2.5 goals handicap, and I was pretty sure in the 80 minute the game was going to end draw or maximum a goal would have been scored, this game again just showed us again, teams without experience like Albania ,first time in Euro 2016 cannot hold the pressure for too long, after 65 minutes they were tired and physical preparation started to show off its weakness. Anyway France has to be worried quite a lot for not scoring to a team like Albania until the 89 minute, and I  think 1/16 will be their end journey if they do matches like this.
3562  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: LONG TERM BITCOIN BUYERS on: June 16, 2016, 06:41:44 AM
5 years or more is considered long term by many investors, average and big whales too. Who knows in 5 years from now bitcoin price may even be at 10.000 USD per coin, now imagine someone who bough lets say 100 bitcoins with 400 or even 700 USD spending about 70.000 USD max nowadays. Imagine after 5 years in an optimistic prediction of 10.000 USD per coin, that is 1 mln dollars and a life changing event for many.

Like the song says.
Bitcoin is the power, power is bitcoin minute after minute, hour after hour.
3563  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins price moving so fast! on: June 16, 2016, 06:37:27 AM
Nothing to panic about, we are all very happy about this bitcoin price, is nice to see it over 700 USD means only 0.01 BTC over 7 USD this is huge achievement for this year regarding bitcoin and for all the bitcoin holders so far, remember only few months ago price of bitcoin was stable at 400-450 USD, so holders who have quite some bitcoin for example more than 10, can make a minimum of 2500 USD profit in just a few months. This is the power that only bitcoin holders have.
3564  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Buy Bitcoin Online on: June 16, 2016, 06:14:10 AM
xBTC.co is another very trusted website where it lets you buy bitcoin with paypal hassle free, but as with everything with paypal because of its risky nature of being an reversible payment system, they put you some daily limits, and the more order you do with them, this limits gets increased to, also it depends on how much money they have to exchange as this website is run by a group of persons from New Zeland. I have bought several times there hassle free. They however based on your country may give you an error message, its too risky to do business with this paypal account, this happens very rarely.
3565  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature Campaigns Sure Do Look Better w/ BTC at $620... on: June 15, 2016, 09:21:37 AM
They are looking great in my opinion for sure due to the fact that they are profitable right now and the payouts are good and higher now..

And they should continue to remain so, the signature campaigns, almost all of them are btc related sites so their income is in btc and they don't care a lot regarding btc price, for example a casino have no reason at all to lower the payments since their net profit is the same if not more because of people promoting their websites through their signature. Same with trading houses too or exchanges or mixers. So cannot really understand what is all the hype people here to influence the price of sig campaigns going down, luckybtc campaign is ending tomorrow and its members will look for new  campaigns tomorrow.
Brace yourselves a lot of applications to join a signature campaign will be on tomorrow.
3566  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Using online exchanges while in New York State ( a resident) to buy altcoins on: June 15, 2016, 06:33:17 AM
You can use TOR browser at your own risk, no matter how good TOR browser is in giving you another US IP or even a New York one IP the problem with TOR is it makes your computer receive a lot of unusual traffic (making you anonymous if you follow the TOR guidelines) but also maximizes the risk of your exchange account getting hacked very soon, so for me its not a very good idea to use TOR in this situation.

OK what about a VPN? Or is that just a heightened version of the Tor browser on a larger scale ?

With a very legit and trustworthy VPN you have a better security than TOR regarding the possibility of your account getting hacked in the exchange because the VPN assign you only 1 IP so it should be safe. However the authorities can still track you when using VPN but that takes time so I think they will not bother, thats the only downside.
3567  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Xapo Wallet safe? on: June 15, 2016, 06:04:11 AM
It is safe as long as you don't care storing your bitcoins to some 3rd party online website. Beside that XAPO requires identification documents going against bitcoin philosophy in its core to be anonymous (pseudo anonymous). Why not use a desktop wallet like Multibit HD for newbies or Electrum ? All they need is a clean OS before installing them, and keeping the OS clean even after installing them and of course saving the passphrase to restore them. Compared to them XAPO is less secure as it is  a 3rd party online wallet which take care of your coins while in desktop wallet you are in charge of your bitcoin and thats the way bitcoin is supposed to be, you and only you the owner of the coins to be in charge.

3569  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MtGox - Mark Karpeles - what was the outcome? on: June 14, 2016, 06:13:49 PM
As far as I know there is no tracking of coins movement yet, but I know that he is waiting trial in Japan, and I know Japan has very strict laws so probably soon he will be facing jail sentence there. France as all other Europe countries is a joke when coming to punish scammers like this, shame on us Europeans.
3570  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Storing coins on: June 14, 2016, 06:11:28 PM
Which one is the safest way to store bitcoins? I often hear that becomes thefts. I guess some of them are not heard even.

I'm used electrum for desktop. So far I haven't problem with their wallet. It's easy to use and have more security features. Also you don't need to download blockchain data, just sync it with your internet connection.

I am using electrum too, same wallet both in my PC and my laptop , with its nice recovery option via its seed, if I buy a new PC, I can install it there too the same wallet. I am using Linux which makes me a bit safer than windows users from phishing and troyans but not 100% safe. Another thing to keep in mind is to keep your system up to date as much as you can. For ultimate security go for hardware wallet which are malware proof, if Trezor is expensive for you , you can buy a ledger wallet HW.1 which is the cheapest hardware wallet you can get. In the end the security of your coins depends on how well the user saves them.
3571  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Apart from earning BTC, What is BTC upto? on: June 14, 2016, 06:07:12 PM
Bitcoin was created by the Illuminatis in order to control the world.

Funny, cause I know banks are created from Illuminatis to have access to all people funds and use lending so can use people like their slaves.
Bitcoin is so unique ,it can sit in my own PC without Illuminatis knowing anything and is fully decentralized so no one can control it, illuminatis or masons no one have control over my coins. Thats how bitcoin I think was created in the first place , to give us freedom of using money without a central supervising authority.
3572  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin to Fiat to My Bank Account on: June 14, 2016, 06:02:34 PM
If you want to remain anonymous and not upload any verification documents  , you can exchange you BTC to FIAT here in the currency exchange section of this forum. Find a trusted seller with green trust, or one who has a lot of transaction and not a single claiming against him, you can exchange your bitcoins directly here.
3573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: June 14, 2016, 10:28:30 AM
Bitcoin is used for illegal activities just like real world currencies like USD, EUR are being used for massive drug transfer deals with the Colombians and anyone doing this risky business. They cannot do it via Bitcoin because sooner or later they need to exchange it to cash so the most perfect payment for them is cash by hand. By saying this, bitcoin is used for illegal activity but never in the same level as the USD or the EUR, you can rest assured for this. So by this comparison, bitcoin is more of a legal usage currency rather than illegal one when we compare volumes in illegal activities in bitcoin and FIAT currencies.
3574  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: June 14, 2016, 06:34:45 AM
Well I think this does not count, but I exchange a few of my bitcoin in USD and withdraw to my credit card, then with this money I have bought a used PC with high specification. When I see something good for my lifestyle and something good in price value, I immediately exchange my  bitcoin to USD and buy it. However the majority of the time, I am saving the bitcoin, hoping in some really high price in a few years.
3575  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: June 14, 2016, 06:10:26 AM
Best investment is holding your coins for a longer term, for a few years for example, meanwhile during this time, you can continue to add different amounts of bitcoin to this wallet and make it really huge after a few years. Best is a hardware wallet to save your bitcoins there, because many people thinks that bitcoin price will rise significantly after lets say 5-10 or 10-15 years. This is the best you can do with your bitcoins.
3576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: June 14, 2016, 06:03:01 AM
i think this is (another) best opportunity Ferrari have lose to win a race.
You have Vettel first, and later only 11 lap change the tyre? In Montreal you can drive all race with same tyre (but for rules you get change 1 time). Very bad strategy, Ferrari have scream to win

Yes they were faster and again tactics is poor for ferrari
They need to fix this fast time is running out for them

i must say they were faster i mean what i great start from Vettel i can remember when i have seen something like that in the past several years
i mean now they have speed they need now to do better tactics

More than a great start from Vettel it was a very bad one from Hamilton who only was caring to not let Nico Rosberg pass as he is his main rival, nor vettel nor ferrari. Ferrari its like this since the time of Fernando Alonso and is the same, they can win an occasional race, but that is not enough to win the championship, so Hamilton was right to only care about Rosberg at the start of the race and making a very very slow start.
3577  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin on: June 14, 2016, 05:55:58 AM
I have heard that about every year since 2012.  According to some bitcoin should be worth $10,000 by now.  Roll Eyes

Well being 10,000$ value of bitcoin is still far on the way. But I believe that it will happen soon, we just need to believe and wait for the right
time for it to happen.
10,000$ is a bit high, I would consider it to be 4-7 thousand dollars. I think that is the year of the BTC plus halving will have a great effect. The coin reward will decrease half but it may trigger the price of bitcoins to surge in some ten times also to make the year of bitcoin.
The value of Bitcoin is going to be higher now and that is perfect for people who already have Bitcoin because they just have to hold it now until they have huge profit.
But it should be hard to know what is going to happen with Bitcoin itself but that is just the risk that you should take.

Do not hold too long, if present price is allowing you to earn profits then you should sell it, as we don't know price will be higher or lower after the halving.
Now it is revealed on everyone that bitcoin is rise to higher value and will benefit to everyone, so putting our money in bitcoin is now not a risk, it was only the past when it was considered as a risk.

Now is a risk too, considering how volatile the bitcoin price is and since its almost 700 USD per bitcoin, now its more risky to buy bitcoin, then it was when price of bitcoin was for example 450 USD.
But yeah in the long term meaning a few years it will not be a risk as I and many others here hope to see some consistent rise to another level by a few years from now.
3578  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you hate about Bitcoin ? on: June 13, 2016, 07:43:28 PM
Well first , Bitcoin is a nice new techno currency which helps all of us towards a better life in general, with more possibilities for us, as more Bitcoin means more money for us.

However there are a few - points
1) Volatility is too high in the Bitcoin price, you never know what to expect
2) Hackers are after it more than anything else during this time (lot of successful hacking attempts, mainly online wallets)
3) There are very few big merchants who accept it, although Steam and Dell are accepting it so far, plus Overstock (so maybe this will change soon)
3579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 13, 2016, 07:40:08 PM
Italy odd of 3.30 today is something to take profit of, not in the way to put a win on italy but rather an X2 double chance at almost 1.80 should be a sure win. A lot of hype of how good the belgian team is, yet I haven't seen anything that impressed me so far from Belgium. As per Italy they tend to play defensively , thats their style of playing and trying quick counter attacks and I see they just scored now. Yeah I am convinced bookies try to fool us with their odds. Well done Italy.
3580  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: June 13, 2016, 07:37:59 PM
Hello i just joined this signature campaign and i have 2 questions, how often the post count is updated?is there a minimum withdraw limit from yobit?
thanks

First question : it is updated every ~ 4-6 hours
2nd question: no there isn't but to send bitcoin from yobit to your wallet you have to pay a fee (20000 satoshi afaik)

Thanks for replying i have one more question, how about the withdraws?are they fast or do i have to wait a few days?

They are almost instant, only a few minutes and you will have your withdrawal in your wallet, and yes the fee is 20.000 satoshi.
