3561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 19, 2022, 10:32:49 PM
I guess no Lebron, no problem for the Lakers.  Tongue

Yes, but it's against a low team, but as we have said, a win is a win, so Lakers getting a big W.
Yeah, it's not that so great team but still, they've managed to win the game because they've been lacking of it with most of their games. Next game is with Spurs. I've noticed that points for most games are exceeding hundreds now.

Just a bit off-topic but still related I guess, it's all about Dwight Howard. I've watched his first game on T1 League and I've seen the crowd, it's big although too far big, and smaller compared to NBA as usual. But the warm welcome of the fans there is absolutely amazing. The game was close against the DEA, and it got an OT. He's got their win, got a double-double and the fans are really happy seeing and watching him live.

I haven't seen his first game, but NBA players are big in Asia, and that's why they love Dwight over there. Howard also has that personally to be very funny so that is a instant click.

And it will be a bigger crowd every night if by chance Carmelo decided to play in Taiwan as well.
DEA, the opposing team did manage to put a lead on them and it's sort of making some adjustments for Dwight on that match. But he didn't disappoint the fans with his performance. Just waiting for some good news about Melo going to Taiwan.

3563  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Biggest reason why you dont make profit first on: November 19, 2022, 09:53:03 AM
So you see your Brain works by motivation you make better decisions naturally with good motivation.

So instead of small profits wait and attack Big you make enough and you dont have to Shamed about your life you can say to friends you make money in trading.
I'm thinking that bitcoin will reach $1M soon and that's how big I am thinking and there could be others that are thinking that it will surpass that price in the next several years.
I'm motivated to see the higher prices and honestly, it's all really about your mindset. Like those that are thinking that this bear market is no help to them, they don't see that it's an accumulation period. While the experienced ones, they think of this bear market as the best time to buy.
3564  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bahamas Govt. Ordered FTX to Transferred Funds to Government Wallet on: November 19, 2022, 08:51:38 AM
Hack their own system and money? I don't know what to say if this is securing or just an individual act of the Bahamas' government. When the government is starting to intervene, I guess they'll start to act on it with all of this catastrophe that FTX has gone in.

If I understand correctly, This is just an speculation and no official statement coming from bahamas government that they indeed command this.
It's confirmed and official, the SEC of Bahamas said it. Reuters posted it too.

3565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Cristiano Ronaldo NFTs(CR7) be successful after its launch on Binance ? on: November 19, 2022, 08:03:03 AM
Cristinao Ronaldo has been All the news recently: his problems with Coach and some teammates, the latest interview on the upcoming FIFA world cup and the most talked about topic CR7 NFTs soon coming on Binance today in a few hours...Given his huge fame and popularity in real world, the Cristiano Ronaldo NFTs are receiving more attentions in the crypto space, even Binance's CZ is supporting him.
Binance/CZ won't be taking him as back up for an NFT if he's not that influential at all. Binance knows how huge the market they can take with CRs fandom and community.

Will the CR7 NFTs beome a huge hit ?
We'll have to wait until they post some announcements that it's a big hit and success. But I think that since he's got the deal with Binance and he's very popular, it has a big chance that it will become successful even if the we're in a bear market.
3566  Local / Pilipinas / Re: 24 hours challenge bitcoin use only sa boracay. on: November 19, 2022, 06:29:02 AM

3567  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bakit kaya walang Blockchain project na based sa bansa natin? on: November 19, 2022, 12:28:22 AM

3568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Algorand - thoughts? on: November 18, 2022, 11:57:13 PM
You wouldn't really hear things about it while we're on a bear market. You'll start to hear something good from every crypto in the market when the bull run has begun.
But as of now, you'll just see and hear speculations about that here and there but you won't mostly get the opinion that you want to hear unless you're in the same atmosphere as the other holders that has the same coin as you that they hold which is algorand.
3569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Polygon (MATIC) to $20? on: November 18, 2022, 11:19:32 PM
Matic has risen to be the coin on every tweet and every mouth in the recent weeks but have observed that such hype does notpump a coin, not even in the bear market. Most interestingly also it may not coin until the end of the market like the solanas and the rest.
Hype does make a coin pump and we're done on that era these days. As we're in a bear market, hyping a project is harder to do because the market will just eat all the hype that will be made for these coins.
Matic to reach $20, I have my doubts about it. The calculation makes me think that it's unlikely, I've just looked at the circulating supply and haven't yet calculated the total supply.
3570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you still win with free spins? on: November 18, 2022, 10:58:24 PM
Free Spins give winnings whether small or huge amount.  And saying Free spin is a spin that we don't give out money so any hit on spin is considered a win.  Whether it will be huge or small depends on our luck, IMO.
Most spin wins are eligible for the amount where it will be hitting. But if there is a disclaimer from that casino you're about to spin the wheel and say that you're not eligible to get real money with a free spin then that's it.
You can read the rules and understand it pretty much but, usually most of them are giving what you win even if it's just a free spin that you've won from their promo.

Can you add more details and send them to me on PM too? or you can post most details here. I have 200+ karma and I know that's quite low because I have not been using my reddit account for so long.
I want to know more about this task, is this also for the long term? or just a typical one task and get paid job? I tried to message you on discord but I can't.
3572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Qatar bribed 8 players from Ecuador for the opening match on: November 18, 2022, 09:57:30 PM
OMG, if this is for real then I guess the World Cup officials will be putting a mark 'x' on Qatar for future hosting events. I'm just starting to look at football and this is what I see, although I know that this also happens elsewhere in other sports.
But this is an official World Cup and it's something that would put a stain on Qatar's reputation for hosting this huge event. But I'll wait for more reputable news source to clarify and verify the news.
3573  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you like commission job or salary base job? on: November 18, 2022, 09:32:21 PM
I saw it too and it is inspiring but at the same time frustrating when you're not hitting the sales and quota that has been assigned you to hit. But that's okay, since when you've learned how to be skillful in sales, you'll eventually get there after a few months of working as one.
You really need to be desperate sometimes just to close a deal. Not really direct to the topic, but I recall a lot of people asking me plenty of questions when I go to the mall especially in tech and gadgets area wherein there would be plenty of salesman/saleslady that would just hustle asking you plenty of questions on what are you looking for while in the meantime you are just window shopping and not really looking to buy anything in particular.

As much as I am annoyed being hustled, I kinda appreciate their hard work of being able to make sales. Those jobs are pretty exhausting, I could imagine.
That's still related to the topic and that's the type of job that you really need to hustle and grind. Those salespeople are commissioned base and that's why they need to attract and talk to anyone that passes by their store. They would think of anyone as their potential customer, although it's certainly annoying when I encounter one, I just politely say that I'll just call them whenever I need assistance and if I'm about to purchase any products that they're selling. And that's because I've been one before and I understand the nature of their work.
3574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is MiniFootball Token a lucrative investment? on: November 18, 2022, 08:56:47 PM
Maybe for the short term. I saw it being shilled in many Facebook groups and I now understand what this project is all about after looking at it on coinmarketcap.
Well, the logo of it will speak for itself. It's certainly just going to be good for the short term but not going to be the one that I'll be holding for the long term. If you know what I mean, most meme coins are only good at the beginning and due to hype but not with actuality just like any other successful projects.
3575  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you like commission job or salary base job? on: November 18, 2022, 08:27:59 PM
some people just want to do work - be it a high profile work or a low one. They want to get their hands dirty
I am one of them. so I can go for commision based job too and I can go for the salary based job too.
Those that have experienced how hard to get the job that you want because of competition and sometimes your qualifications are not enough to what they're asking, you just want to have a job that you can work for so that you can provide.

That is correct - sometimes it depends on the situation you are in. There would be time you would not want to have commision based job but at the same time you have no other choice to do the job to earn some money to put food on the table. I have seen both the times - good and bad.
I saw it too and it is inspiring but at the same time frustrating when you're not hitting the sales and quota that has been assigned you to hit. But that's okay, since when you've learned how to be skillful in sales, you'll eventually get there after a few months of working as one.
3576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeSo a better Twitter? on: November 18, 2022, 07:12:10 PM
Do you think that decentralised social platform like Twitter is a good idea in crypto space? I am looking into DeSo Ecosystem where your recovery seed is all you need to sign into the network and you get paid for all good contents you create on the platform .

Users can tip content creators among themselves using DeSo coin, I am not here to shill this project, I just want to know what people feel about the future of this project.
Anything that's decentralized is a good thing if you want to avoid centralized systems and platforms. But, I think that I've seen sort of this type of project before.
And you know what?
It's not that successful at all. It is because the people before doesn't really care whether you use centralized or decentralized social media. Just avoid it being tokenized with its own platform.
3577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance, BitMEX and KuCoin have delisted FTX Token pairs from their crypto excha on: November 18, 2022, 12:30:52 PM
It's the effect and result of what they did to the masses and that's to be expected that almost every exchange where their native token is listed, will delist it.
Any exchange that will delist it understands that there's going to be the huge impact of the fiasco that FTX has and they're no longer reliable so, the market that they have is not viable anymore for its traders.
3578  Other / Off-topic / Re: Elon Musk want to buy bitcointalk on: November 18, 2022, 11:34:37 AM
Instead of thinking of buying it, I think that he'll flex with a newbie account and has a donator tag on it. Yes, the same amount of donation that the early members have made.
And if converted to the price right now, you do the calculations and that's what I think that he'll do instead of the idea of buying the forum. He can do that and spend the free money that he's got in his deep pockets.

3580  Local / Pilipinas / Re: USE CASES DPAT NG BLOCKCHAIN TECH AND CRYPTO on: November 18, 2022, 07:20:47 AM
