3561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: January 04, 2018, 06:58:01 PM
Trading or gambling are having advantages and disadvantages. But looks like trading is much more safer than gambling.

That is the simple way on how to explain Trading between Gambling. Trading might be boring because it is demanding when it comes to time and you must be serious on Trading, unlike in gambling that you could chill or whatsoever. Trading is a sure profit than gambling, gambling will just make your money disappear while in Trading, your money will just disappear because you bought some coins but after a long run, it will turn into a big profit.

Everything that is consider as a job is boring. Gambling is not a job and it is for entertainmet thats why it is not boring but we cant make money from it because we are bound to lose. The difference is in wether we can make money or not from it because to be considred as a job we need to be able to make constant profit from it
I don't know with you two guys but I consider myself happy when I am trading especially when the price predictions that I have are right. People often think that having a job is something like the last resort of any person just to earn money but people can change it as some jobs can also be called as their career or vocation which is also a job but you are happy to do it while you are still earning. People have different taste in life what I apply may not apply to you. Some people even think that Gambling is not entertaining even if they are winning their bets.
3562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is ripple going to overtake bitcoin ? on: January 04, 2018, 05:33:06 PM
People are looking to get a good return from ripple like bitcoin did. Ripple has a supply of 100 billion vs bitcoins 21million its not going to reach the same as bitcoin has. People see it has increased in value lately and have the fear of missing out
Overtaking Bitcoin in terms of market cap seems to be near impossible but if you are looking for a quick money right now it is a good time to buy ripple instead of Bitcoin. One of the main reason is its good timing as Ripple has a good chart and also Bitcoin is on consolidation stage. So looking at it I don't think that it is necessary for Ripple to overtake something just to show that it is more profitable as .60$ per Coin to 3.00$ is a pretty big leap forward. Their profitability will still increase as the number of traders also increase.
3563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dota 2 Gambling Discussion on: January 04, 2018, 03:43:20 PM
I don't bet on e-sports games since compared to sports betting games on the E-sports community are highly unpredictable making it hard to have a sure bet for yourself. Unlike games like basketball you can analyze each situation from the best odds to what players have injuries. In sports a team that is not even a dark horse can win the 1st prize. Or is it just me as I don't have any experience on betting on Dota 2 games? Either way I still think that I have a better chance winning in real sports betting.
3564  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do YOU sell? on: January 04, 2018, 12:29:33 PM
For me I don't understand what logic they are applying. Why would you sell when you are getting less amount of Bitcoins . Like if the prices of Bitcoin are high so you will get less Bitcoins for that amount of USD.
There is no logic to it. It's just that we need to follow the prices of Bitcoin as its orice is dependent on Fiat Currency, and why don't you get it the buyer is on the advantage here as they will use a lesser amount of Bitcoin needed for that purchase. The only sad thing I see is of course network fees being applied on every transaction which you are required to send to another wallet address.
3565  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: January 04, 2018, 08:51:29 AM
Soooo, How were your holidays' dear friends?

Happy New Year again to everyone, wish 2018 will be the luckiest for you! I came across with some stats while working on year report, thought will be a news to share on the forum.

There were 1591555188 wins in total in 2017 // Our dear players have netted 133476.350868213BTC totally // Bonus wins reached 8576.980599660BTC //

Will be glad to hear what was your biggest win in 2017? Who was the luckiest from the btctalk community?

Those are some jaw-dropping stats! I think there's no doubt that FJ is the biggest player in the casino scene when it comes to crypto betting Smiley.

My biggest win was mid 2017 when I managed to scoop up a 3.5 BTC win from ONE SPIN on HitMan.. That was crazy, BTC was worth around $3500 each so it was a really good win. I believe I used my Signature payment to play as well Cheesy. I think serjent05 is in the running for the luckiest guy that's talking here as well, considering all the times he hit the dice jackpot.

Keep up the good work FJ! Here's to a great 2018 Smiley.
Good for you Hhampuz that you have one something big from your Signature Campaign earnings. Currently I am still waiting for my big win in FortuneJack as I am still in the process of doing so. Hopefully before the 1st quarter of 2018 ends I would be able to be actively playing in FJ and hopefully win some big amount of BTC just like you. Good luck too all the players and future members of the FortuneJack Community.
3566  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: January 04, 2018, 07:18:36 AM
It is obvious that bitcoin is going to be the future currency. Because its convenient to use bitcoin in trading. In addition to that the cost for a transaction is negligible. Moreover the security is very satisfying. With fiat currency corruption is a major problem which is not be in bitcoin.Transactions are done in a peer-to-peer method, without the need for a bank or third party to oversee it.More importantly bitcoin is global which allows us to use it anywhere in the world, to send value almost instantly, nearly for free. These are few reasons why people should use bitcoin.
Yes in the future maybe Bitcoin will be a preferred payment method but looking at it right now it doesn't look appealing to become a payment method because of 2 things one is it has high network fees and second is that its transactions takes more time compared to paypal and credit cards. Also I don't like the fact that I will be shouldering extra expense because of sending money to other people. Right now it is only good for growing your money.
3567  Economy / Economics / Re: Economical World Of Bitcoin And Its Difficulties on: January 03, 2018, 08:40:11 AM
Well another thing to point out to is by using Cryptocurrency instead of the regular fiat currency as a whole is that crimes will be more easier to be accomplish as they will be using computers and the internet instead of guns in stealing your money. Remember that it is prevalent now seeing HYIP sites and fake scam money making programs you know that they are attracted to this kind of cryptocurrency which new members are an easy prey for them.
3568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 03, 2018, 04:18:57 AM
A.C. Milan and Mousa Dembele is gaining traction on the transfer rumor mill as Milan needs to upgrade their Central Midfield. But with a price tag of 20 million pounds I think Milan have better options aside from Dembele, Milan should be in the advantage of the negotiation as Dembele has an expiring contract and he is not what he used to be, with recent ankle and hip injuries I don't think it will be a good thing for Milan to start a player who had multiple injuries in the past. They should look for other potential targets.
3569  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Will Go to 7500$ on: January 02, 2018, 07:31:00 PM
Now it has been confirmed about the good charts Bitcoin is having as right now 1 Bitcoin is worth 15,200$ which is really a huge improvement compared to when it was price around 13,000-14,000$ level. The whales also have decided not to push the prices down more as to what they expected which is 7,500$, when that happens it will confirm a trend reversal and we might see Bitcoin go down from 13,000$ to 3,000$ but the good thing is it never happened I hope that this rally will be profitable for all of us.
3570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: January 02, 2018, 12:01:12 PM
The Minnesota Timberwolves have won back to back games on 2 consecutive days and that is against a blooming Indiana Pacers and the Los Angeles Lakers. But whats more amazing is that their game in Indiana they had a 17-0 runbon the 1st quarter holding them scoreless for almost half of the game. Their offensive plays are killing it even without Jeff Teague as their point guard. They better show some consistency in their upcoming games.
3571  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE - 🎲🎲🎲 TRANSFORMATION HAS BEGUN! CSNO TOKENS ADDED! 🎰🎰🎰 on: January 02, 2018, 07:20:31 AM
^ Yup.  Some speculators have to understand that BTC is rising much faster than alts, taking much of the fiat value in  crypto.  If you bought anything with Bitcoin, you have to understand that there's an opportunity cost by trading it for
an alt.

The best move would then be to trade back to BTC, with BTC profit.  It simply is the crypto to hold long term.
Chasing profits has always been a losers game, bitcoin has been doing great in the last months better than most alts, but if you were not invested in bitcoin already then it is a mistake to sell alts to buy bitcoin since you are selling cheap to buy and expensive asset, the best move is if you bought a solid alt like the BitDice token is to keep holding at some point the growth of alts is going to be bigger than the growth of bitcoin and you are going to not only recover your investment but get profits in the process.
We think differently because what I believe is that it is not too late to Buy Bitcoin even if it has this price right now. As there is always the right moment to buy it and that moment is now as it is down from what is is used to be which is 20,000$ buying it now will give you a margin of safety and at the same time can maximize your earnings as you have built your own base. I don't have any comment on BitDice token as of the moment but everything should be given a chance to be analyzed.
3572  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to survive on crypto while pursuing MS in the US or Germany? on: January 02, 2018, 06:09:49 AM
From what I know some master's degrees like Master of Business and Administration (MBA) requires you to have a minimum time of work experience in order for you to enroll the course. So you have at least that time to save and earn money in order for you to fund your own master's degree. Even if work is not a requirement I still would suggest for you to stop studying first and try to gather work experience for you to understand more what you will pursue on a higher degree. Also to answer your question it will always depend on how much you will earn and how much time you will contribute to doing it.
3573  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-01-01] Bitcoin Headed ‘Below $5k,’ Is ‘One Of Silliest Things’ - Dennis G. on: January 01, 2018, 05:18:23 PM
Well that is Dennis Gartman's opinion on Bitcoin but when yiu look at it he is really stating how dangerous it is to put your moneybon Bitcoin that he himself won't risk his money on either being long or short on it. And what is up with the news with these kinds of news that every now and then will post a negative opinion on Bitcoin knowing that they are known personalities will be a huge hit on Bitcoin' price. That is why bad news somehow start as a catalyst of bringing the price of Bitcoin down.
3574  Economy / Gambling / Re: OddEvenBets.com - Winning 198%, House edge 1%, Provably fair on: January 01, 2018, 02:14:18 PM
~snip~

Happy New Year

But like others have suggested you really need to either add some other altcoins or make your account be able to hold a balance on your online wallet.

Looking at your last bets, you only had 2 bets in December alone due to the high fees.

Even if someone uses a custom small fee, nobody will want to wait a week for 1 bet. Also you need to send them money if they actually win.

My advice is adding Bitcoin Cash at least.

Is it really worth to add BitcoinCash? I can only find few gambling sites accepts BitcoinCash and I dont see a big wagered amount of it, so I think adding other altcoins such as ETH or LTC would be better choice IMO. AFAIK, only few people willing to use BitcoinCash for gambling purpose because most holder prefer to use it for trading purpose. I could be wrong on this, just stating my opinion.

The reason why I suggested Bitcoin Cash is because its very easy to add because its pretty much exactly like Bitcoin. They just need a bunch of hard drive space for both the blockchains and they are all set.

LTC is also very easy to add.

ETH is much difficult because its a completely different coin and its coded much differently.

So for now, Bitcoin Cash should be added since the confirmations are almost 5-10 mins instead of 5-10 hours and you can send transactions which are 1-2 sats per byte instead of 1000 sats per byte.
In my point of view it is a good thing that the management has add it now rather than later. Why? Because you will see that the management and the gambling site is open for change and accepting other cryptocurrency is one of them Litecoin and Ethereum will surely take their spots for the website. Also Bitcoin Cash is still has many users they may not have any users betting with BCH now but in the future I am sure that they will have users who will use it.
3575  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: before or after new year on: January 01, 2018, 11:45:07 AM
Should I purchase more bitcoin and or litecoin before the new year hits or after? suggestions/opinions

also what is the cheapest/free exchanges to deposit us currency via bank or debt card
I think new year or not does not matter when you are going to purchase Bitcoin, Litecoin or any cryptocurrency. If you want to add your investment in Bitcoin or Litecoin it depends on your goal, if you only want to invest for short term profit then it is the best time to buy since the price of Bitcoin drops from $19k to $13k right now but for long term investment there is no need to wait for the price to drop and buy as soon as posible. I can't recommend any exchange that has the cheapest fee because I think that kind of exchange does not exist haha, but you can check what is available in your country or if coinbase supports banks from your country you can try that.
I don't agree with you because if you are looking for the importance of your money as well as maximizing your earnings from your cherish saving or hard earned money then buying Bitcoin at the right price is the best way for you to earn more. Yes the dollar cost averaging said that buying assets no matter what the the price is the best way to go but don't you really want to buy Bitcoin at its cheapest price? By buying Bitcoin at its cheapest price you are giving yourself a margin of safety or a breathing space for you to just in case it suddenly falls on an up trend.

3578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: December 31, 2017, 04:29:49 PM
Spurs are very suck on their shooting for today. Losing to a weak destroit is really sad for them.

Really man? Detroit Pistons this season is weak for your opinion? Let me know you that Detroit Pistons is currently 4th place in NBA Standing in Eastern Conference! If you consider that team a weak meaning to say you consider that below that place also weak.
If it was any of the previous 4-6 seasons, No.4th seed on East was going to be weak. East on the whole was very weak other than the Cavs but this season seems a lot better than the previous few. Good competition building up in the east this season.
I like to disagree with you. If you look at the Eastern Conference Standing right now you will see that Cleveland Cavaliers is only 3rd in the standing which they are behind from the Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors respectively. Another thing to point out to is Boston Celtics is currently 1st in the standing even without Gordon Hayward in their active roster they are actually 5 wins greater than Cleveland. Before I stated that the Eastern Conference is totally weak but I think they are also a place for powerful teams.
3579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any tricks available in gambling to won the bet? on: December 31, 2017, 12:48:51 PM
There are no tricks especially in the luck based gambling games because with those your chances are in the hands of luck and you can do nothing about it but when it comes to sports betting and some other skilled based games i think you can input certain trick and strategies like martingale formula to boost your chances of making profit.
Gambling won't give you a real profit in the long run , it is just a dream!
A lot of people have tried it , and yet they are ends up terribly , get a lot of debt and have no good relationship with people arounf.
The point is that gambling has a lot of bad effects, don't think you can always make money from it , thinking about strategy etc is delusional.
It is dream that everyone is dreaming and gambling can give profit in long run - but only to few people. There are certain games with million dollar jackpots and someone will win it and 99.999% won't. So someone will make profit in long run while majority won't. Everyone wants to be that lucky gambler.
@pettuh research martingale  Wink

Yes, and even with games like poker, where you can have maths in your favor if you study the game, to make a considerable amount of money you need to make a great effort over a long period of time. But even if you do that, you may not make a lot of money, or you may even end up bankrupt due to not being able to cope with a long losing streak.
I agree with them that there are no tricks on a luck based games, as you cannot really follow any strategy when your winnings will be dependent on your chance of being so. The only thing I can think of like a "trick" is to stop when you have winnings and that is all. Being satisfied with your winnings will also help you stop because aiming to get more will soon make your luck run out. Another thing to point out too is that there are games where you have a higher chance of winning like blackjack or baccarat, you must be aiming to play those kinds of games in order for you to have a higher chance of winning the game.
3580  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustadice – Next Generation Dice (Ƀ 20 max profit & 10 bit faucet) on: December 31, 2017, 07:57:07 AM
Ok so i been trying to play on this new site and give it a fair chance.  I must say that i am not really a fan of the whole websites game feel. Maybe it is because i am not accustomed to this layout type. I must say the free faucet is a nice touch but why does the amount keep changing.  I will keep trying the site out and give updated opinion later on.
Good to see  players like tmyou give a chance to a new gambling site. Some members here say terrible things because they don't feel the new User Interface or thinks it is inferior to what they are used to seeing. For me able to experience many dice sites I can say the difference always boils down to their website design and of course other promotions such as free faucets and lotteries.
