3561  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Wanted to share NEW IDEA ON HOW TO PLACE A HOLOGRAM WITH PRECISION on: November 23, 2020, 03:21:32 PM
This is not just for coin makers, but some precise art-making could use This trick. I think about how much pressure could the hologram take? Depending on the type of material you are going to put, it's challenging to hold it too much? It might damage the hologram.

Anyway, adjustable pressure and tip would be ideal for all types of crafts. Thanks for sharing this. I might use this in some of my projects.

Excited to see what you are working on Shocked
3562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just a wish for small projects on: November 23, 2020, 09:51:04 AM
You do know that IEO and ICO are not the updated method, right? Now it's all about DeFi, and I think you need to be on the lookout for possible scamming using this type of project. I think small projects can be with potential, but you have to find a problem that would solve it. A token could provide the best solution, but there are also factors on its value. Whether it's usable and adaptable or not, it still needs to be worth it. No one would invest in a repeating type of project. You just have to be innovative and show that you are going to be the best project.
3563  Economy / Economics / Re: Jobless for 10 years still doing great because Jobs market is a joke on: November 23, 2020, 08:40:05 AM
Isn't it that what makes those things, YouTube and Gamers, exists because of jobs? It exists because there are people who make games and get paid for it = Job. YouTube cannot exist if no people monitor and make sure that it does the way it is. Freelancers wouldn't have their tools if it weren't for the developers' jobs made by a company, the employer. People can achieve freedom anytime, but can you be comfortable knowing that freedom is not knowing when you will get food?

The job market is becoming more specialized and more focused on different fields. It's just up to you to be up for the job. Whether or not you like jobs or not, people are still counting on it for a living, and it wouldn't stop now. It's different for everyone; whether you want a job or not, not everyone gets to have that opportunity. Be grateful you don't need one and still live comfortably.
3564  Economy / Exchanges / Re: The future of crypto exchanges on: November 23, 2020, 08:00:43 AM
There will be many aspiring new developers and teams that would want to dominate the exchange scene, and no matter what you do, there would still be exchanges popping up. I think the question is who will remain, as you said. No matter what the big exchanges do, they would always have the upper hand now that they have established their dominance. I don't think buying out exchanges would be worth their time unless something a small exchange invented could benefit the dominant one.

I don't think the dominant once right now would cease to exist, but those unfamiliar exchanges will have a hard time continuing their service. So it's best to stick to the largest ones like Binance and possibly dedicate your trading there. It's probably not going anywhere.

I would depend on the best exchange with trading volume and active users for sure. Plus the reputation and reliability.
3565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal and Square Are Buying Every New Mined Bitcoin… And More! on: November 23, 2020, 05:15:03 AM
You would know that PayPal has given hundreds of millions of people access crypto to what they probably don't have yet, an opportunity to buy crypto. It's making it easier and easier. I'm not sure how much PayPal has applied to their approach, but I have seen some articles that you cannot send or receive the BTC that you bought in your account to another platform, so I don't get the point now why they did it. Not your keys, not your coins come into play.

Anyway, I want to see how much they are holding, but I seem to have failed. Probably because they don't want to disclose how much they have right now. Probably it's also the reason on pooya87, no evidence to their holdings.

Could you really buy the newly minted coins? You have to contact miners, right? Maybe they have a connection there or something.
3566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How can one make effective use of the Excrow? on: November 23, 2020, 01:52:08 AM
I'm not sure about what you are talking about but do you mean Escrow? After a couple of Google searches of "Excrow" nothing is really showing up related to that word but "Escrow". I think you should fix your wordings as well.

Anyways, there's nothing you could do about that but to believe that "that" token will have value in the end. I don't think they would be able to give that amount unless their token has a value already. Possibly, the developers are working to make their tokens valuable, unless that happens, they have no USDT to give. That's just what I think.

So what you want is some kind of a fixed USDT payment for your work?
3567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How much do you know about Lightning Network? on: November 22, 2020, 03:52:23 PM
I haven't clearly studied LN, but I remember that some people have been working out different things and testing them out. It has cost a user 4 BTC IIRC. I'm not sure about the progress on that, but that's always what I remember when I read or see things about the lightning network. Imagine losing that now, and there are possibly more people who lost money to test it.

If LN has become the norm, BTC would be used more often for sure. Who wouldn't want that immediate transfer that we all want with confirmation, right?
3568  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcointalk Charity Program - Give Hope To Everyone! on: November 20, 2020, 09:10:23 AM
Good day everyone!

I have now planned and finalizing the Christmas event that we are going to do. In line with the recent typhoon, we will target those affected and would have a hard time recovering. Amidst all the disasters that had happened (Pandemic, typhoons, etc.), there is still a better future to look forward to, and in the meantime, Christmas is approaching, that's why I want to let everyone feel that Christmas feeling.

So what we are going to do is to provide some Christmas goodies for families.

In addition to that, we're going to wrap a gift that is made up of necessities. This is for an additional surprise, is the gift of giving kind of thing.
  • Clothes (A pair of Shirt and Shorts)
  • Reusable Face Mask
  • Alcohol
  • Soap
  • Shampoo
  • Toothbrushes
  • Toothpaste

Let me know, guys if you have more suggestions.

Additionally, we will set up a website and showcase the good deeds and the help that this charity program was done. It would include these different things:
  • Mission
  • Vision
  • Results
  • Testimonials
  • Calendar of Events
  • How to Get Involved

I think that's the main key points for it. I know that with this Bitcointalk Charity Program, there will be a lot more people to be helped.

So summarizing everything.
  • The target for the Gift Giving / Donation Drive, end of November/early December.
  • Website, to buy the domain and set up the necessary servers
3569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Player protection - stop loss limit on: November 20, 2020, 08:35:00 AM
I'm not sure if many casinos offer that kind of "player protection" because many casinos want to profit from the losses; they definitely do not want to limit that. Unless the casino actually shows that they care and use that kind of feature. Losing more than intended could have mental health effects on the player and would not function well IRL. It's going to affect those people around him and maybe produce some irrational behavior. That's what I think could happen when a player losses a lot.

Anyway, I think this feature would be ideal for every gambling site. Maybe at the initial registration, tell how much you will play with and the limit amount? This is a great setting to have for those who have no control and addicted to gambling.

3571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple and Bitcoin on: November 20, 2020, 05:46:25 AM
In a way, Ripple has just put his own features instead of copying everything about Bitcoin. Bitcoin has become the inspiration of what Ripple has become. Initially, it's not really made to be competed just because of the centralization. I can't seem to forget that one of the founders of Ripple is dumping his own stash at market price. I don't think they could continue to rise in price if that continues.

I read some post here in the forum that Ripple will replace bitcoin...is it true? Let's find out....
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5271101.0

Yes, eventually XRP could surpass Bitcoin if it is actually used at scale for international money transfers. I personally hold 80% XRP ad 20% 0xMR
I think you have the wrong quoting sequence, RussianEnglishTranslation. You should edit your post.

3573  Economy / Reputation / Re: Gun-Bot Message Spammers? on: November 20, 2020, 12:31:33 AM
AFAIK, we don't let users download something for a demo. It's basically a copy of https://gunbot.com. It's all online, and you could see it directly using a browser.

Thanks for sharing this. I would let others know that something is going on like this. Make sure that the person/website is on the active reseller list, or you'll get scammed.

3574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥[GUNBOT] Trading Bot with 136 exchanges available!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 on: November 20, 2020, 12:26:05 AM
Just dropping this here since I wasn't aware

I created a topic here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5291450.0; Basically someone is spamming members here with PM's to buy GunBot

Quote
- That's the URL that doesn't seem like it's listed on this thread's official sellers list. Could be a scam or maybe not. Just want to make you aware that you don't end up buying GunBot from one the scammy websites.
This is possibly a scam attempt. The original one is gunbot.com and the layout and design were copied as well. I'm not sure what he is talking about by downloading a demo but there's no demo to download. We don't do that. The alternative we have in the demo is an actual Gunbot running for demo purposes and you could see the GUI. It's all online and no additional things required.

Thanks for notifying this, will tag the user as well.
3575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another mistake in Bitcoin fees? on: November 19, 2020, 06:44:07 AM
Just like what pooya87 said, there could be another reason for it. It's what I was thinking about when I read the article. I mean, how can you be so careless with your coins? Manual fees will be verified before sending the transaction, and I doubt that it's just an "honest" mistake towards it. Unless it's what Blockstream suggests, it's a self-transfer? There would probably no more follow-up on this in the future, and I hope no one gets to make an expensive mistake like that.

It does put the transaction on the radar already when there's a ridiculously high fee. So if some authorities look, they might find a way to launder it or something.

3577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Probability on: November 19, 2020, 02:50:01 AM
So my answer to your question is no, they do not memorize this table but they do know about it for sure, they just don't pay it heed and I do not think it raises the chance of determining the other players hand except Negreneau, that dude seems to have x-ray vision.
I saw his masterclass in an ad and it seems pretty convincing to learn how he does stuff. Knowing that he has achievements and titles to brag about, he is a very good player. I guess he just played so much that he knows instinctively what the other players "could" have. It's still a matter of experience for sure.

Surely they don't memorize this in order to increase your chance of winning. I've watched some poker matches where the poorest hands are able to get the other player with better cards to fold with their bluffing skills. Even Kevin Hart did it succesfuly. The odds will be the same no matter how you memorize this table, it's a mix game of skill and luck as OP said, skills to bluff and luck for cards, that's what makes you win poker base on what I learn from watching videos and reading OPs post.
That's the best and important skill that you can have, the best poker face in the world. Making you hard to read and never reveal your true emotion. It's possible that they know it in a different way, like the possible hands that players could have.

That's correct. Professional poker players do not just automatically fold if they have very poor hands. As always mentioned, poker games are not just about luck. If you are given 3 of diamonds and 9 of hearts, it doesn't mean you no longer have to play the game. But they must also have rough ideas as to their opponent cards.
That's just the "Fundamentals Of" the game. Lol. It includes the bluffing part and making them know that you have an amazing hand. Do your best in risk-taking, right? Show it and sell it.
3578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Probability on: November 18, 2020, 09:00:46 AM
The math is pretty straight forward for sure. What deceives us is how people manage to see only the highlights of poker games and see the "legendary hands" and think that it's always going to be possible, but obviously, the math doesn't lie. It's just by luck to really get that strong hand.

Do you think the professional poker players memorized this? Does this increase the chances of determining the correct hands of the other players?
3579  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin after 3rd Halving prediction on: November 17, 2020, 11:40:32 PM
You know that it's all predictions, right? No one can understand what could happen in the future, but it's all possibilities based on the previous price action of the said asset. In this case, it's BTC-USD. Many traders and speculators are charting it that it's possible to reach 300k in 2021, just like the analysts in Citibank.

Additionally, considering the market cap, Bitcoin has room to grow, for sure.
3580  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best tools to help with your crypto trading? on: November 17, 2020, 11:11:50 PM
This doesn't include the best bot, Gunbot. Tongue

Bots arent tools yet these are for automation yet this is somewhat misleading yet this isnt the only one that can help out your crypto trading.
I’m quite confused with your statement because tools are to help you in any way it can to make trading easier (If we are talking about tools for trading.) It probably depends on your bot as well because other bots don’t have the ability to make you’re own and customized to your needs, hence not a tool on your end?
