3561  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitcoin Fake 5000 BTC Giveaway Youtube live on: May 10, 2020, 05:08:13 PM
I do not fully understand why the fake giveaways last too long on youtube and big social media whereas important  channels or accounts get banned or censored easily. Has anyone tried informing youtube about it?
Hopefully, cryptocurrency developers will consider creating some kind of decentralized communities that can quickly reverse transactions from obvious and easily proven scams like lots of  giveaways from social media and YouTube. This should help in discouraging the scammers.
3562  Economy / Economics / Re: Some Stragies to Face the Next Crisis on: May 10, 2020, 04:43:01 PM
What is coming in the future will require humbling oneself to survive. I have noticed how easily people reject good ideas to stay healthy and survive if they think they're too backward and primitive, but once crisis strikes they feel humbled and begin to consider your suggestions.
It's a little tough at the moment to convince people to consider what they see as primitive lifestyle. Many will think you are insane for suggesting them, so I just keep things to myself self and hope they get convinced, so that we can have more people to survive together in the future.
The "easy way" will lead alot into problems in the future.
3563  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are escrow services against Decentralized network? on: May 10, 2020, 10:47:40 AM
It's actually possible to create a very decentralized escrow system(if it hasn't been done already). The most important thing is to remove all or most forms of centralization from the system/service, and possibly decentralize the keys or funds.
You could for example create a simple and efficient decentralized escrow system that involves few arbiters and many anonymous witnesses who make sure the arbiters really follow system rules and settle disbutes properly and according to the agreed terms of service.
3564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Enhanced restriction in gambling casinos is it possible on: May 10, 2020, 09:39:58 AM
I guess the enhanced restriction is for physical casinos? And what do they seek to achieve or solve with restrictions? Is it related to the virus issue? If it is about the virus, the physical casino owners should ofcourse try every possible arrangement or solution that can actually help keep everyone safe in the casinos
3565  Economy / Gambling / Re: Power of this forum... on: May 10, 2020, 08:44:50 AM
Similar thing happen to me to in same casino! First I was not eligible for free spins after first deposit, I said I am from btctalk forum, contacted their manager here and I got 189 free spins! I didn't make any money, but I had good time playing slots every day, few times I was close to make something, but got busted hard with some slots! Smiley
I like your headline, this forum is a powerful place. And these situations shows how important is to choose crypto casino, or any crypto service, from this forum! You can talk with their managers, owners, and other forum members will always help with any problem! Smiley

Another interesting one. Well, I suspect their reputations here matter to them alot hence the "special treatment" and the response.
An organized and good community with important source of traffic will likely make a serious business owner think carefully to avoid making a wrong decision.
3566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: WBC Explores Possibility Of Remote Scoring For Upcoming Fights on: May 10, 2020, 08:16:27 AM
Interesting. Does the onsite personnel include referees?
Well, guess they'll have to make this model very hard to abuse. The seclusion thing kind of makes this less transparent and easy to manipulate. The seclusion area will probably  need to be built with transparent materials or/& have cameras focused on the personnel
3567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goverment can literally destroy bitcoin whenever they want on: May 10, 2020, 07:32:15 AM
A well decentralized and secure Bitcoin will be very hard to destroy by normal humans.
By the way,  destroying the assets and transactions of innocent people for being on a good and safer system is immoral and definitely not legal in any just society. I wonder what "government" would do that.
3568  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: CoinCode.sh - Analyze your Coin Code on: May 08, 2020, 04:44:11 PM
Looks interesting.
Do you do this alone or you work as a team?
Projects like this is actually needed, but I wonder how you plan to make it sustainable. What metrics do you use for the analyzing? And how about transparency?
I really wish good ideas like this are decentralized. They are better handled in decentralized and transparent manner in my opinion.
3569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any way to patent my startup idea? on: May 08, 2020, 02:37:03 PM
Is it a crypto project?
Patenting decentralized open-source crypto projects doesn't sound like a good idea to me. But I understand your point concerning your ideas getting stolen.   I honestly wouldn't bother about people copying my ideas as long as it is not for self interest or for centralized projects.

I once thought about having something similar to patenting on cryptosphere that would allow people post their ideas in immutable form(with time & date they were posted) on decentralized platforms as proof they own them. And people could donate to the owners of the ideas and copy whatever they want.
3570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Fear & Greed Index on: May 08, 2020, 02:05:22 PM
Is it easy to think right in fear?
Better not to be driven by  fear or greed in my opinion... "Invest what you can afford to lose".
I guess the right words here should be "be cautious when others are greedy, buy the dips when others are fearful".
Greed and fear could cause investors to make bad decisions: buy what they can't afford to, or  sell all/most of their investments in panic.
Invest what you can afford to lose so you don't get too attached to risky investment. This will also help you to be more focused and in control. You could also go into trading with the required skill/knowledge if you wish to invest more.
3571  Economy / Economics / Re: Money History - Introduction to Ancient Exchanges on: May 08, 2020, 11:09:42 AM
Barter system during ancient people is very historical information and to add another information, they call it "barter change" when people are exchanging items for another good that they need. Though the thread might be well known to everyone in this forum however the topic only aims and point out the revolution in exchanges how it was before, how it is today and how it might be in the future it only tells us that cryptocurrency can be the future of exchanges replacing fiat and digital currencies.

Anyway, the revolutions in exchanges are possible and I'm looking forward to that cryptocurrency will be the future of it because of the features and advantages that we can benefit from it. But we really dont know when will that happen.
It's important to note that barter isn't going away... there is nothing really bad or "primitive or ancient" about it. It depends on what you find convenient in "certain situations".
We could actually barter goods and services in a modern way. I could tell someone: "work in my company for two years, I will provide your basic needs with little weekly money(allowances)"... This is kind of bartering in my opinion.
You could combine bartering with other
means of exchanging goods and services in a society. Whatever works well for that society can be used.

3572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto casinos pros and cons on: May 08, 2020, 09:45:23 AM
Some of the disadvantages of crypto-based bettings (based on my observations) are: inadequate or lack of crypto-based physical/offline casinos,  possible lack of good/safe age restriction (and addiction prevention) tools, the use of unsafe identity verification methods, etc
3573  Economy / Gambling / Re: JacksClub.io | Bitcoin Casino | Amazing VIP ☆ Rewards on: May 08, 2020, 08:49:53 AM
Wish you had the copper badge though, to improve your trust a bit as a newbie.
I like the part where you plan to make everyone a winner. I guess that doesn't necessarily mean making everyone, most or many more players to be consistently profitable. I think it is a challenge worth solving in betting industry.
3574  Economy / Gambling / Re: Power of this forum... on: May 08, 2020, 08:32:05 AM
Nice one!
Hope you have the permission to share it here though.
Seems business owners value their forum reputation alot. Things like this actually gladdens the heart... Everyone treats each other right and with respect  to avoid well deserved negative reputation that can get the community to be more cautious.
3575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Never trust an ICO ranking site! on: May 08, 2020, 07:57:29 AM
You are just saying the truth. ICO ranking has become a business to get free tokens from the project team. The more you pay, the higher your ranking. It has now become a bazaar and I pitty those who rely on ICO ranking sites to make decision.

I hardly trust their rankings due to lack of transparency.  I believe ICO project ranking will be more suitable on well decentralized platform.
Lots of people will do what is wrong or throw morality away once enough money is dangled in front of them. This is what well decentralized crowdfunding platform can solve.
3576  Other / Off-topic / Re: What if? on: May 08, 2020, 07:35:00 AM
Ofcourse it could, if overall demand is less than supply or supply is more than demand.
This is why decentralized permissionless exchanges are better... With them, you have custody of your coins and if something unpleasant happens to a DEX, you move your keys to another platform.
It's actually disappointing how huge supply of decentralized cryptocoins are on centralized exchanges.
3577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TON Community Launches Free Version of Telegram Open Blockchain on: May 07, 2020, 05:14:12 PM
Interesting. Are they in anyway connected to Telegram? Or are the community members not happy after contributing to the Telegram ICO and not getting anything in return? This will be interesting to watch. Hope it's fully decentralized Telegram.
3578  Economy / Economics / Re: Money History - Introduction to Ancient Exchanges on: May 07, 2020, 04:41:13 PM
Money needs to have values attached to it to be considered valuable. This is why printing money out of thin air without corresponding value is such an abomination. If you keep printing money out of thin air for someone, make sure the person is/will contribute something that is "proportional" to the money he/she receives otherwise the money has little to no value and that could create potential problems for everyone else that uses the money.

People who work hard on farms(for example), produce quality foods but earn little from the foods are the types that really deserve some money printed out of thin air... same as people who create good applications that lots of people use but make little from the applications.
Printing money out of thin air for someone (or potentially bad business) that will likely not pay back or be profitable is what makes the culture of printing fiat money out of nothing bad.
You could however print money for sustainable welfare schemes if the beneficiaries will be willing to contribute in whatever way to the society. The difference between them and the employed is the ease of getting a job and getting paid. There  definitely will be some kinds of jobs that need to be done somewhere but society probably don't find "profitable" short-term

3579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Takes Place Amidst Pandemic on: May 07, 2020, 10:45:36 AM
The promoters are too selfish in my opinion, definitely forcing the boxing match to continue because of the profit gained from sports betting.
Although prevention is carried out such as sprayed disinfectant, there is still a risk of corona virus spreading, and also not necessarily the
audience really apply social distancing.

I doubt if that's the case, maybe promoter of this fight don't get any profit from this and i think all they want is somehow make boxing back on it's feet again. Boxers surely benefited from this as they were paid no matter how the outcome was.

My advice is to follow the government's recommendation to postpone all sports matches, until the corona virus completely stops spreading.

All activities were known to their government AFAIK, this was not hidden from them.

Do they wore the mask fighting?  Grin Grin

Interesting picture.
I wonder how they will manage to breath properly from their masks considering that the body will require more oxygen to function properly when games like that become intense. Guess they will need more than normal mask.... maybe some small oxygen devices to supply them with sufficient oxygen. I doubt playing intense games with mask is a good idea.
3580  Economy / Gambling / Re: My urge to go to land base casino in this lock down and how I fight it. on: May 07, 2020, 09:44:17 AM
Better to have that urge for things that benefit you positively. If you go to casinos always to waste your time and money then it's definitely not worth it. Maybe something else other than the profitability/productivity was drawing you back to the casino. If you spend lots of time on something without gaining something positive from it, you need to find something else to do.
