3561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC was a lifetime chance and I don't think we will see a similar opportunity on: April 04, 2021, 01:18:47 AM
The lucky few ones are early adopters however lot of those early Bitcoin adopters must have sold lot of their assets when the price of btc pumped to an appreciable value thinking that they had earned enough profits, while a very few of them kept faith and hold till 2017 those hodlers really had a one chance opportunity even more opportunity for present day hodlers.
More so there more chances to come in the nearest future for the present hodlers as the price of btc continue to grow more profits will be earn however it can never be as massive as early adopters.

Full time was 2-5.
I don’t think anybody saw this coming. The race for 4th place is really hotting up now, really hope Liverpool can take advantage & win tonight.
Is it true that this is Chelsea's first biggest defeat after being coached by Tuchel?
But whatever it is, I think their defeat today was embarrassing because they had to lose at home to a team who were 99% relegated this season. Really a disappointing day for Tuchel and his players, I think. The red card brought catastrophe for Chelsea. Now that the competition for 4th place is getting hotter, let's see what Livepool can do today vs Arsenal.
Chelsea ought to have prepared for the worst in that match recalled in their first leg with Wes brom they (Chelsea) conceded 3 goals against that same club before equalizing to end the match 3-3, you don't underate a relegation battling team they will put in every efforts to thwart their opponent to score them and counterattack just like when Fulham defeated liverpool few weeks ' Never underate a Relegation team'

Leicester City vs Manchester City is match that will be very interesting to wait for this week. Many predict Manchester City will win the match,
why do many people predict this. Because indeed Manchester City's performance is the most consistent for the team in the Premier League,
and Manchester City have a much better quality player than Leicester City. So it's normal for many people to predict Manchester City will win
the match. Even though I same with you, wanted Leicester to surprise us by taking points from Manchester City, although the opportunity is
indeed very small. But in football anything can happen, so don't be too sure that Manchester City can win the game.
What's exactly are the proof that Leicester city can have three points in the match this weekend, obviously, Manchester city are super giants in the premier league, they need to give out their all on Tuesday with BD, currently now, Leicester is out of the Europe league so they are ready for battle of any trophy, on the other side, man city is nearing to winning the EPL title,  tomorrow match might not be necessary for man city but surely can't get zeo point, it would be a draw battle tomorrow.
Leciester City attackers are firing on well now the partnership of vardy and kelechi Iheanacho in the absence of injured maddison are in-form forget about many predictions that City will win the match the game is 50:50 any of the side has a chances of winning the match.
Man City might rest some of their key players for Bayern Munich having been sitting comfortably with 10 points ahead of Man Utd in EPL table
3564  Economy / Speculation / Re: Understanding Bitcoin price as a beginner on: April 02, 2021, 07:00:39 PM
Just 3 days back bitcoin was standing firmly on 60k and right now its falling badly. Price now is 51k. Bitcoin has one of the most volatile pricing model that almost impossible to predict. We may think that its end of bull run while bitcoin may be at 60k in next 2 days. You never know.

Zoom out... see the bigger picture...
Don’t trade the 1m charts
Trade the 1D or higher charts
Or buy&HODL

This will show you the pattern...
https://www.lookintobitcoin.com/charts/stock-to-flow-model/
I traded the higher timeframe particularly 1D or 3D, while monitoring my trades with the lower timeframe.
lower time is too fast and unstable thus subjecting them to any form of analysis or modelling is waste of time.
I dislike scalping thus it is a no go area for me, l will start to use the modelling site to check price patterns.

Jumping into any bounty campaign blindly without a through research amount to being scammed at the end, this is synonymous with newbies, when  I saw the thread I started researching about the coin before coming to my senses that it was  fake (April fool)
before you say jack robinson a lot of newbies had already applied running to 7th page in a bid not to miss out and earn fictitious huge amount of coin then later they will complain of being scammed whereas majorly their fault
3566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What age bracket is perfect for gambling on: April 02, 2021, 09:37:24 AM
It is pathetic that most gambling sites don't request for a mandatory KYC thus gave room for teenagers to engage in all sorts of gambling at their tender age, consequently this will lead to their lack of concentration in their studies which has a tendency of jeopardizing their studies and future
In my country I always feel sad seeing high school students  of various age limit between 14  to 18 years old gambling and betting unprovoked and challenged by their parents,  once addicted with it then its going to be difficult to dissuade from engaging in gambling.

they blame mourinho for failing to bring Tottenham into the top 4 this season. Whereas before, they thought that Mourinho could change everything in a season or two. I think Mourinho took a risk when he decided to coach Spurs. I don't think if tottenham just finish #5 end of season as failed for mourinho. Because with Spurs, he can't buy quality players as he wants like when he become MU and Madrid coach.

I hate to break this news, but Mourinho has no excuses for failing at Tottenham and failing to even be in the fight for a top 4 finish; Mourinho inherited a fit and balanced Spurs side, with quick attackers, balanced crop of midfield players, and yet he chose to field 7 defenders behind the ball playing low block. Mourinho has underachieved with the Spurs squad despites spending lots of money to an already good side. I think he has lost it. The europa league exit was proof.
Personally I think mourinho performed below expectation as Tottenham manager compared to Brendan Rodgers who had managed Leicester city well,  comparing the calibres of players in both team I believed Tottenham had better and quality players like Kane, son, moura lloris however despite Leicester city selling off some their quality players last season eg chidwelll yet they performed well.
Mourinho had no excuse with the below par of Tottenham this season especially the shameful and embarrassing
 ouster in Europa cup.
3568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beware of the Frauds , how pandemic is affecting gambling negatively on: April 01, 2021, 09:59:11 AM
That is the only way out of avoiding frauds and scams is by gambling with reputable and credible online gambling sites and casinos even with KYC enabled ones , of course the  impact of Covid-19 had changed our ways of living due to restrictions consequently our online presence had increased tremendously thus gave rise to high increase in scams and fraud online
Gamblers especially newbies should get themselves restricted to the already and we'll established casinos to avoid touching stories
3569  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is this a good plan for learning tradning ? on: April 01, 2021, 07:14:54 AM
i watched a couple of courses and read a couple of books, and I liked trading as a career  and I want to solid my information and skills
I saw this article about which books you need for your CMT test, which I'm thinking of taking them as a study plan for my trading career
here are the books and the article
https://www.tradingsetupsreview.com/book-list-chartered-market-technicians-cmt/
, is it a good plan?
Trading strategies can be learned but if you want to ake successful career out of it then you should implement it in the real life by doing trading with your real money.Concentrate more on the technical analysis then reading general about trading which is ore helpful with the trading of crypto assets.
I believed the OP wanted to kickstart his trading journey with reading of the book which isn't a bad idea probably thereafter watch many trading video where he can choose one of the available strategies out of many possibly tweak it to suit his trading style and subject the strategy to testing either via stimulation or live trading hence the trading journey the OP  will start in earnest, although not an easy task however with practice perseverance sky is the limit.
3570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency still being discussed in Nigerian Television on: March 31, 2021, 05:59:43 PM
It is really nice to see that in some countries people make a detailed analysis of Bitcoin and the other cryptocurrencies. It is an exemplary thing for all other countries and I hope too see the same thing in as many countries as possible. I also agree that it looks like Nigerians really care about cryptos and invest in them. I'm really tired of seeing people who prefer only going against cryptos rather than trying to have a better knowledge.

In my opinion there is an enough amount of people who prefer rather to be against crypto instead of deep learning the crypto nature, a d mostly the reasons to such attitude are political motives or just zero knowledge about crypto at all. Nigeria is not the exception, and all those processes there nowadays with Bitcoin and crypto are because of some political decisions.
More so many of those acclaimed CBN experts don't really understand Bitcoin and blockchain technology they just make statement blindly while looking at negative side of using cryptocurrencies especially in money laundering etc having forgotten that money laundering had been existence before cryptos.
A sensible or working CBN will tap all the potentials attributed to the adoption of cryptocurrencies and find ways of taxing al itl transactions as well as monitoring it illegal use by collaborating with the relevant stakeholders and agencies involved in it.
3571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk said he bought Dogecoin on: March 31, 2021, 02:44:34 PM
I'm sure Elon Musk has another goal behind his tweet on Twitter, hopefully his goal is to raise the enthusiasm of long-standing investors on Dogecoin or he wants Dogecoin to continue to compete in the crypto market.

A few things to remember here:

1. This tweet is almost two months old
2. Elon purchased DOGE for his toddler son, and not for himself
3. Even at current levels, DOGE doesn't rank anywhere near the top-10 cryptocurrencies, in terms of market cap
4. Tweet from Elon hasn't caused any noticeable increase in acceptance of adoption of DOGE
5. Elon is not the only one who has tweeted about DOGE. There have been others before him, such as Snoop Dogg and Gene Simmons.
I didn't see any remarkable improvement in the price of DOGE  in the aftermath of Elon Musk massive buying, although there was an instant impact in the pump price of DOGE whem he bought DOGE massively however thereafter it price dumped and had been stagnant after undergoing corrections without any volatility.from my own point of view it will take another massive buying by some whales before it price pump again else the price will continue to range for another long period of time invariably not ideal for trading and hodling.
3572  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you like Volatility? Debate on: March 31, 2021, 05:25:53 AM
A trader equipped with a working strategy ( note their is no Grail strategy) ie perfect one, will need a high volatility of the price provided that such a trader is using a higher time frame for trading with minimum of 1 hour time frame where the volatility rate is moderate unlike the lower time where is faster with too much noise.
A moderate volatility with a higher timeframe will guarantee profits taken at the appropriate time although losses is inevitable unlike scalp trading that can lead to rekting of an account and many losses.
3573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ African Cup Of Nations Cameron 2021 Qualifiers ⚽ on: March 30, 2021, 06:18:39 PM
Super eagle of Nigeria confortably won their match 3-0 against Lesotho, a good game by our darling team dominating and taking possessions throughout the match and Iam happy to watch the fans adding glamour with their melodious music in the stadium,  although the pitch was bad disallowing free flowing passes of our players, Onuacho goal was a masterclass  this guy is a good striker, while the midfield trio of ndidi, etebo and Nwobi did well, I also enjoyed the sparking form of this No 10 shirt enyimba player anayo Iwuala when he came for chukwueze, I believe the super eagle are back on track waiting for the commencement of Qatar 2022 qualifier.

Edit: The biggest upset in today's matches was averted in the match between Senegal and lowly rated Eswatini with Senegalese equalizing in 96 minutes extra time.
3574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: March 30, 2021, 01:01:09 PM
Agreed, no disrespect shown to Aguero from City. He wasn't playing at all this season, he was one of the most important players for them in the last 10 years but his salary would be high and they weren't using him at all.

It's best for all sides - they will be able to bring a replacement and he will be able to find a club where he'll be playing regularly.

Aguero is one of my favorite PL players of all time, a truly complete striker. I'm sad to see him leave and I hope he'll remain in the Prem - although it looks highly unlikely.
He had too many injuries in 2020, especially the one he took in the middle of summer. I also heard he not long ago had corona.

Btw he will have a statue at the Etihad Smiley
No doubt Kun Aguero is a complete profilic striker whose track record in Man City is exemplary personally I think he should have been allowed to sign a contract extension for another two more seasons until he feels he is ready to quit just like the opportunity given to their former defender Vincent company I understand that Guordiola needs a fresh leg however the wealth experience of Aguero is still needed in the club.
3575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dump just after a new listing? on: March 29, 2021, 12:12:10 PM
it is normal that after the end of an ico / ieo and at the time of listing on a new exchange the value of an altcoin decreases, why does it decrease in value? because the participants in any advertising bounty sell their altcoins so earned immediately after the listing
Aren't bounty participants only getting a small amount of coins with a very limited supply for the bounty? then why do you blame the bounty participants in this case while the investors who buy coins in the project get a very large amount of coins, so try to explain your reasons by accusing the bounty participants for doing this so that you say this is normal.
I am also confused at this summation that bounty hunters are solely responsible for massive dump in the price of many coins after listing, investors who bought those tokens cheaply and massively during pre-ICOs and sold off completely are not blamed compared to a meagre payment to bounty hunters.
Its high time  we stopped blaming hunters after all there are some hunters who still hodl their tokens even after listing and on the case of AME token price dumped should not be blamed on bounty hunters alone some investors too are culprit.
3576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: March 29, 2021, 05:39:05 AM
Anybody here wishing the days away until the EPL returns next weekend? I am sorry but the international soccer does nothing for me. It’s far from as entertaining as the EPL. Most world cup qualification games are dull, lots of low quality teams, boring.

You're definitely not alone as I do feel the same about international breaks. These international breaks weekends are usually boring that's why I don't even gamble on these matches. I've been patiently waiting for the Premier league and other top sports league to resume again for regular season.  I'm not a huge fan of international games. The worst are those Uefa Euro 2021 matches.

Looking forward to Leicester vs City and Arsenal vs Liverpool games next week saturday.

I agree with that...the majority of matches on the euro world cup qualification have very bad ods to gamble...many traps and many insane situations like the one in the match between hongry and Poland.
The chances of winning a bet placed on European world cup qualification matches is very slim, a lot of upset in many matches is usually recorded except some few matches whose winning is guaranteed but odd too small e.g San Marino vs England, Kazakhstan vs France, Albania vs England etc the odds doesn't worth it just as bad as you mentioned it, once EPL resumed this weekend I hope to see better odd and more opportunities in placing them.
3577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you get mad when the price of your cryptos go higher after you have sold on: March 28, 2021, 09:20:33 PM
I used to feel upset whenever the prices of my holdings strike high right after I sold mine. However, I realized that it doesn't help so I learned how to deal with it. Profit is still profit no matter how small it is so I learned how to be contented. Setting a certain goal and sell when you have reached it is a wise decision for me.
It really hurtful whenever I sold BTC thereafter it price pumped, attimes I would go as far as calculating what I should have if hodl on  and there are also a few occasions after selling the price dumped massively due to high volatility in the price of btc invariably the buyer will bear the risk. I had gotten accustomed and used to that now whenever I sell btc I forget and move on I never care or bother about any sudden increase or decrease of the it price.
3578  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have found a good Trading Course on: March 28, 2021, 09:56:03 AM
Those video is helpful for trading. Course is valuable for start trading. But, experience is very very important in trading, you have to start trading for gain it. Experience is extra power in trading.
' Experience is the best teacher' says an adage watching those trading courses without putting it into use by embarking on a real trading experience is waste of time.
Implementation of those strategies with regards to those videos into a real live trading is another obstacle that needed experience to implement, above all every new cryptocurrency trader is expected to practice with a real account probably starting with a small amount of portfolio to have a feel of how live trade work.
3579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Dogecoin reach 1$ soon? on: March 28, 2021, 06:17:19 AM
It wouldn't be happen, trust me.

I think theres a lot of peoples knowing about DOGE is just meme coins and dont have any target in the future.

How is that possible with 120 B supply can reach $1, no no no for me it's delusional.
I day traded DOGE in Binance I was very disappointed with the the coin has a low volatility without any momentum the coin was stagnant throughout while other coins pumped  I hurriedly close my position and move on to another coin.
I agreed DOGE huge supply had an impact on the low growth of the coin imagine lot of coins that were launched after DOGE are all pumping well and trading with huge volumes in all the major exchanges I hope DOGE developers look into it thus  putting it into a proper shape.

Nigeria finally broke the unbeaten record of squirrel of Benin today beating them 1-0 , it quite a tight game the host playing defensively all effort by super eagle to break their opponent defence was all futile and thwarted the likes of osimen, iheanacho tried all their best unfortunately a shot hit woodwork of the beniniose until onuacho came to our rescue,  no doubt Nigeria dominated the match from the beginning to the end.
