3561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Discuss about SpiderDAO / built on Polkadot on: December 18, 2020, 11:41:24 AM
SpiderDao recently completed its Sale on Polkstarter platform, and listed in uniswap, Sale @0.032$ ( approx.) Listing price Around 0.1$, Now ATM it's trading @0.049$, it's still 1.5X. and MAHA Dao returns were 4X+

trading at less than 50% of listing price DURING a bull rally for Bitcoin and Defi does not sound very hopeful at all,,, but anyway this is the case seemingly for most other defi projects trying to get beyond listing price.

Makes me wonder,,, maybe bonding curve sales are a good idea after all?
3562  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 Profit competition 0.5+ BTC prizes - LAST HOUR!!! on: December 18, 2020, 11:05:48 AM
Ouch ouch! Well done to the whales,,, I definitely felt those wins in my investments;) I actually quite stupidly divested TWICE to win back the losses, each time was around 1.8% loss so I think in total over 3% of bankroll went down during this contest, but at least we know people are interested;) I do not mind at all these contests as I prefer more people to come and gamble, eventually house edge right?

I am hoping the competition restarts again or something similar as this holiday period is coming up and I actually might have some time to gamble;)
3563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IDO can do better ? on: December 18, 2020, 09:40:51 AM
I've got my eye on MahaDao for few days now and today I see that it's ROI is over 300% already, the reason why I got my eye on this project isn't really about the use case but the fundraising strategy they planned to use which is called IDO, I'm surprised this project raised big money through IDO, is IDO better than IEO? MahaDao price is over 2$ now and trading volume is over 5 million dollars too

IDOs are not any safer than IEOs,,, I would advice the same high caution for all of these than everything else in Defi.

Decentralized just means no "project or exchange" but they can exit scam you just as easily if not more easily since not all investors understand how DEX and smart contract liquidity pools work. Be careful!
3564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: December 18, 2020, 08:12:41 AM
Yea I saw it at it and it is still hard to conclude exactly if there was an offside or not. Both teams have few good opportunities with nice saves from the goalkeeper and the bar Tongue LFC won this crucial game and started running from the others although injuries. Tomorrow, ManU will face Sheffield, a team searching for its first win this season which becomes almost a dream Undecided

I do not really believe in karma but I am one of those who believes that in football everything evens itself out,,, so for me, this VAR decision went for us, but we still lost the game. I prefer to "use up" all the bad decisions in games we can actually get points out of,,, but anyway, it was a goal and hopefully it motivates Son and Kane even further.

I really pity Sheffield who were challenging last season for Europe!
3565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP Price to $14 - Any thoughts? on: December 17, 2020, 05:35:25 PM
$1 is no doubt but $2 is still very heavy to achieve. $2 will make 90b marketcap which is need almost $3B fresh money to xrp market and that is a lot of money. Except if there are many institutional company pouring the money in to xrp market.

If Bitcoin continues like this then yes,,, $1 is just a matter of time. My only worry is can Bitcoin do another x10? The last round it did x20 from old ATH to new but now x10 means $200k! My mind cannot handle the logic but of course,,, I will be the last to complain if so. I can complain not having 1 BTC to take advantage though;)
3566  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: December 17, 2020, 05:00:58 PM
I thought about the same thing today. I remember claiming 10 sats during the previous ATH, but 9 sats, it's for the first time I see it.

It is actually even 8.something if you look at the $200 prize amount, so we might even be seeing 8 satoshi freerolls this year alone!

It makes us think so fondly even when we were getting 100 satoshis per free roll. Those Reward Points are looking so tasty, are they not?

And whoever is earning from interest,,, you must be very happy!
3567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Non funded projects vs funded projects on: December 17, 2020, 03:40:47 PM
Years ago when POW algorithm was still a big thing many new POW coins showed up then and they confused many to start mining, what you don't understand is Non ICO projects scammed many through POW algo, when you are busy mining and they list on exchange, the team will dumped the coins and exit scam, leaving few liquidity left

At least they had to have blocks mined and computers and clients,,, I even got duped by POS coins at one point having many wallets just staking and open all the time what a waste of effort;) Once people learned how to do ERC20 they did not even bother having real codes and wallets;)
3568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 17, 2020, 01:57:57 PM
I finally have a decent round, got 7 points, since some results were really crazy I expected to be challenging for the yellow cap. No way though, 2 guys already have 10 points - they both got 4 games correctly but 3 with exact results.

I had Wolves - Chelsea as 1-1 so losing that in the 95th minute was tough to take. But then again, Bobby brought 3 points yesterday with a goal in the 92nd.

Well, at least I finally crawled out of the relegation zone I guess. Baby steps..

Yes, well done to you. I switched to Liverpool win, so I got some points,,, I thought maybe destiny would trick me and let Spurs win. It was nice being at the top for a while,,, but you guys deserved it. Southampton even enjoyed being top for a few minutes:)

I dropped down and so hard to get up but tomahawk manages to keep 10 points there, simply amazing.
3569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How high do you see Ethereum going this market cycle? on: December 17, 2020, 01:26:49 PM
I will first look at it in term of bitcoin value before the parabolic. At the moment except for the staking Ethereum has nothing or news to drive the price. We only rely on Utility use e.g Defi, transaction fee, smart contract etc that has always been. The staking will make the coin scarce, Over 1% of ethereum is staked at the moment. I expect Ethereum to climb toward 0.1btc (2500+) in the first part of the year and probably make a higher climb after the parabolic market towards 0.15btc (20000+).

Utility and being reliant on it is not a bad thing,,, the only thing to see if is that utility organic? that is,,, are people only using it as a hype phase or is it something seriously viable for the long term future? This is the problem I see with Defi,,, you cannot deny it has a use case and demand now but very difficult to see if it is the same situation next year.
3570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 17, 2020, 11:46:49 AM
It's a disgraceful decision. They sacked the coach who brought them to the big leagues when no one expected it.
They thanked him by not giving him the money to buy the right reinforcements and the WBA was the main favorite to drop out of the league from the start.
Everyone, from WBA fans to players, supports Bilic but coach probably had a lot of a hard time with the owners when he criticised them for not bringing the right players to the club.

Same old story from every corner of the globe. Watford sacking their boss last season after he took them on a winning spree to get out of relegation,,, what did they think would happen to player morale after that?

WBA getting a point from City and you sack your boss? The world is cruel.

From a Spurs fan who remembers Poch.
3571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero "BADCACA" - XMR Tracking Project (with user's porn preferences) on: December 17, 2020, 11:02:00 AM
I am a big monero fan but I do not think it is fair to show Monero users like this,,, I really detest people who visit and pay for that kind of thing too but I strongly believe it is wrong to correlate Monero use with illegal use.

Still,,, thank you for sharing this with us. I can only say that I hope these users get caught. And not because they use Monero but because they did the wrong things.
3572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: December 17, 2020, 09:47:21 AM
Not confident about us (Liverpool) beating Spurs Wednesday. We’re absolutely decimated by injuries, I’ve never seen a team suffer an injury crisis like it, it’s really ruining my enjoyment of this season. I’ll always be there cheering my team on but the injuries coupled with covid & mostly empty stadiums really blows.

Edit - VAR is ruining everything too.

Congratulations to you from a Spurs fan. I only watched the first half,,, it was so late for me I could not stay up because of work. I checked results when I woke up and saw we lost. We had one attempt and at one point only 18% possession,,, Mourinho tactics did not work in the end. Anfield is indeed the fortress that it is legendary for,,, and the way you guys play you deserved the win. I personally thought Son's goal was offside too.
3573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: December 16, 2020, 07:57:03 PM
I thought about waiting for the matches this week before putting Multi Masters picks but you know what,,, I would rather put early picks in here or else I might forget. It was for sure a crazy round it was last time I have no idea how to understand the big teams.

I put my own team as a draw for Leicester though,,, even though of course I will bet on them on the day.
Lost betslip share because I closed but ID is 5fda21557f9acd334869c9ca

3574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters, I need some advice on: December 16, 2020, 05:51:22 PM
Late to respond but I thought I should share my thoughts here.

Give up on bounty hunters. You do not want numbers to show off. Telegram count, Twitter count etc have no meaning and in fact can give a bad impression to outsiders who see thousands of members but no real users.

Spend the money to slowly build your product and service and let people use them. Then those users get and stay loyal.
3575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 16, 2020, 04:43:11 PM
Manchester United and Bayern Munich are interested in signing Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano according to some rumours. I think that Manchester United are regretful about signing Harry Maguire for €87.00m. I don't think that he is playing really good this season too. I think the reason for Bayern Munich trying to sign Upamecano could be that Boateng is 32 now and they might want to replace him with a young and talented defender.

I really like this guy but then again I am beginning to realize now more and more that the player and talent is worth much less than the club's system and manager that they are going to. Look at Lampard unable to bring out the best in Timo Werner and Kai Havertz, such a shame for two German nationals they are not doing anything in the league now for Chelsea.
3576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin the third 'most crowded trade' in global fund manager survey on: December 16, 2020, 04:03:48 PM
Nice to hear but I always feel like all this kinds of news are ultimately meaningless,,, and I would prefer to hear more bad news instead of all these bullish signs, as that is usually when Bitcoin goes up long term.

Still,,, nice to see 20k today. Stay safe everyone;)
3577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 16, 2020, 02:44:38 PM
Yup same as me exactly 0 points for the whole thing. I am of course betting for a Spurs win but I do not know if I should change predictions to a draw or win for Liverpool. Anfield record is now going to stretch for a lot longer,,, but I am torn with my loyalty to Spurs. Maybe I should just predict a Liverpool win anyway to jinx them;)
3578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP Could Hit $1 This Year on: December 16, 2020, 02:11:08 PM
I'm not Losing hope though the value is slowly fading, specially after the Airdrop yesterday ,from $0.50 now starts to lose more.

Yes,,, it does not look too good at all it seems three days after the airdrop and definitely XRP is dropping in value even though Bitcoin and ETH are now very close to their 2020 highs. Painful to see 7% loss in value today when the others are all doing positive numbers.
3579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: English Premier League Season: 2020/2021 on: December 16, 2020, 12:16:40 PM
I cannot remember when Spurs were top of EPL ever and this dream feels too good to last long, but even a draw could be enough to keep us there for a few more days,,, such a big crunch game tonight and then another on weekend.

Trying to decide how to bet (or just watch it and not stress).
3580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum May Surpass Bitcoin’s Market Cap in the Next 10 Years on: December 15, 2020, 06:32:41 PM
“My hunch is BTC is a perfect collateral layer but ETH might be bigger in market cap terms in 10 years for the reasons above. Money and collateral is just the base layer. Everything builds on top. The store of value is collateral, the trust layer and exchange of value is bigger.”

Could be true, I do not see why not. 10 years is a long long time to happen but this assumes Bitcoin also remains the way it is and ETH also continues to be the #1 smart contract and Dapp chain.

Looking at the way things are now, that is probably how the world in crypto will look like,,, but 10 years is huge in tech.
