3581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin really gonna be dead? on: March 20, 2018, 07:04:07 PM
I voted "no" and I find it interesting with the poll results that 7 people actually said "yes."
Either these people pressed the wrong button or they are on the wrong forum, because I think most people who post on here are fanatics and actually believe in BTC and it's future potential.
3582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm gonna sell my house on: March 20, 2018, 07:02:38 PM
This is an absolutely brilliant idea!  Considering how low BTC is right now, and the fact that it will most definitely reach $20k again, you seem to be very wise with this idea.
Too bad I don't have a home to sell, or I'd be asking for your realtor's contact information.
3583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Gold : Make Bitcoin Decentralized Again on: March 20, 2018, 06:57:30 PM
I wish I would have sold my BTCG off when it was at a higher value, because even though I inherited these coins for free, I don't see a real use case.
While the same can be said about other coins, I just fail to see the value in holding these coins.
3584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts on: March 20, 2018, 06:56:17 PM
In my opinion, one of the most hard to predict coins.  As someone else mentioned, the price seems to be all over the place!
Still holding on to a bunch of these "free tokens" as I like to call them, but not really the biggest believer in the technology.
But who can complain about FREE.
3585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GNT] Golem Project - The world’s most powerful supercomputer on: March 20, 2018, 06:54:07 PM
Nice to see a slight recovery for this token.  Still going to be some time before we see it valued at what it's actually worth.
I've been a firm believer in this project since the ICO and truly believe it has some of the most potential, if they ever decide to release Brass

Pleasure partnering up w/ Sportsbet.io, but I have a question:
Will you be posting an update as far as post count goes, so that we know our posts are accounted for?
Or will you be PMing us individually?
I just want to make sure myself (and others) are fully compensated for our posts.
Thanks again.

3588  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the biggest changes in your life caused by Bitcoin? on: March 19, 2018, 09:48:15 AM
Well, my financial portfolio loves BTC but my blood level and stress levels hate it Angry
But in all seriousness, it's an "up and down" journey with these coins, sometimes more exciting than others.
For those that have been in the game longer than others, the biggest change other than the obvious $$ would be witnessing the new believers, including the newer generations.
3589  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin a pump and dump scheme? on: March 19, 2018, 09:41:56 AM
You gotta be kidding me.  LOL
There may be some, umm, "insider trading" as a few people control the majority of the share, but if you're asking about a correlation between BTC and shady ICOs then the answer is HELL NO!
Furthermore, if you have any doubt whatsoever, which it sounds like you may, then BTC might not be the right space for you.
3590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Mining , Is it worth it? on: March 19, 2018, 09:38:04 AM
Unless you live in Iceland or Venezuela, your best bet is NO.
It would be more financially rewarding to just BUY and HODL your coins.
While there may be other crptos worth mining, I wouldn't suggest Bitcoin.
I'm not expert on this subject TBH, but I think this is the general consensus.
3591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why aren't there more women in Bitcoin? on: March 19, 2018, 09:36:16 AM
There are a lot of women power players in Bitcoin, so I'm not certain what you're alluding to.
Here's a nice little article (albeit it's a few years old) about women in Bitcoin that you might enjoy:  http://fortune.com/2015/04/24/women-in-bitcoin/
3592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest now - should or not? on: March 19, 2018, 09:32:53 AM
You should have invested in Bitcoin already by now, but it is "never too late" to get involved w/ Bitcoin and other cryptos.
As we're currently in a bear market, let's hope the bull runs the bear out of the woods sooner than later.
3593  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nitrogen trying to rob me (proof inside) on: March 18, 2018, 09:11:53 PM
Nitrogen finally unlocked my account, and I was able to withdrawal my funds.
Going forward, I will be contacting support prior to changing my password!  Grin
Thanks for the support Cool
3594  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nitrogen trying to rob me (proof inside) on: March 18, 2018, 06:49:57 PM
Several bettors signed up at Nitrogensports thru Game Protect and we have no reported issue until today. As a single fighter your risk is probably higher.

Ask them to send your balance to the Bitcoin address you made the deposit?

I'd prefer to have nothing to do with you, but thanks.
3595  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nitrogen trying to rob me (proof inside) on: March 18, 2018, 09:37:55 AM
Edited my original post with more emails.

I hope Nitrogen wakes up and realizes this does not look too good on them .
3596  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nitrogen trying to rob me: proof inside on: March 17, 2018, 06:21:49 PM
Do I really need to leave Nitrogen negative trust to get this taken care of?
This is absolutely robbery.
3597  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nitrogen trying to rob me: proof inside on: March 17, 2018, 06:08:02 PM
Timeline

March 15
@ 11:30am- Unable to log-in, I emailed Nitrogen
March 15 @ 10:18pm- Alec from Nitrogen replies "Are you still having problems to log in?"
March 15 @ 11:03pm- I respond that I still can't log-in
March 15 @ 11:04pm- Nitrogen sends security questions
March 15 @ 11:10pm- I reply answering every security question, leaving "email" blank because
a)  I have been in communication with Nitrogen on my current email
b)  I put in a random email account (something that I honestly don't recall).
c)  Again, I have been in communication with Nitrogen on another email account.

March 17 @ 7:46am- Saul responds with this email:

March 17 @ 10:31am

My reply, demonstrating how Nitrogen is trying to rob me right in front of my eyes:

Summary
-Nitrogen emailed me security questions, I replied with the answers from that same email address.
-Knowing that I don't have access to the email on file (and even though I was already emailed security questions to a different email), Nitrogen is now telling me to resubmit the answers from the email they know I don't have on file.

As of recent, there have been many people claiming that Nitrogen has been getting away with this, but I will not be one of those people.
I have done nothing wrong to warrant this type of behavior and as I have demonstrated, Nitrogen is trying to muscle me around.

3598  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nitrogen has locked my account for no reason on: March 17, 2018, 05:33:39 PM
Wow, Nitrogen is trying to rob me right in front of my eyes.
I'll post the details in a couple of minutes, but they are absolute crooks if they don't unlock my account.
3599  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nitrogen has locked my account for no reason on: March 17, 2018, 08:30:53 AM
Still waiting...
at least you have a Nitrogen support staff on the thread who is aware of the matter and should escalate the matter to the right people

hope it gets resolved in the fastest possible time, keep us posted Wink

I submitted my security answers over 24 hours ago.
The last time I submitted security answers (Nitrogen needed to verify who I was) my account was unlocked much quicker.

I have some bets/parlays that will settle tomorrow, and I was planning on using my free 2 week withdrawal (I paid .0005 BTC a few days ago).

I need some answers Nitrogen.
3600  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nitrogen has locked my account for no reason on: March 16, 2018, 08:51:29 PM
You know the problem with big sites? Support gets slow. Look at how a user has to resort to making a thread here to get a response. I personally think it's not good practice for users but since he got his response finally, I guess you can't blame users for trying. My take on Nitro: respectable, a lot of happy players... but can't seem to shake the feeling you get whenever you see threads like this. I think we all miss DirectBet, don't we? You bet, and winnings are instantly returned. No fuss about deposits and accounts. Someone please bring a service like that back!

Going on 15 hours since I immediately replied to Nitrogen, and am still locked out.

I wonder why Nitrogen would take so long to resolve this issue.

This thread will be bumped regularly until I can access my account again.
