But, if you're really serious about changing your username, may I know what username will it be?  Tongue

I think if he'll be changing his name this would be better:

Plane Money
Flying Fiat
CatWithAHat
IgnoreMyBuddy

Or you may simply use your alternative's such as Jet's TalkMerit
3582  Other / Meta / Re: What would happen if I changed my name? on: September 12, 2018, 10:01:47 AM
I don't have any plans at the moment, but I have just made a discovery.

It seems that Walmart owns the domain name Jet.com, and they use it for an online shopping service. There seems to be an associated payments processing service they call "Jet Cash". I have owned JetCash.com since 2002, and I have used it as a small payment service associated with my Baronets domain name business. In recent years I have used it to discuss Bitcoin and other Crypto-currencies, as they really are the new jet cash payment systems.

I have to consider the possibility that I may need to move away from the use of the name, and the associated sobriquet in the future. How will an alternative name affect my activities here?

I think you should just change the name of your domain, it wouldn't affect you here as you are also one of the oldest folks here on bitcointalk. If you just want to change your name just to be cleared that you aren't involved on that certain website then the decision is yours.

As an addition to that, it won't affect your reputation here even if you change your name. Some will put this thread on archive as future references that you've made a decision to clarify yourself and to that said website that wasn't yours.

Edited:

And as long as you have that cat with a hat nobody will doubt you for being Jet Cash Grin
3583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 90% Altcoins will die? on: September 12, 2018, 09:03:23 AM
How will the Altcoins die? Is it even possible?
If all market exchange gets rid of a certain coin then it is possible and the said altcoin will soon come to its end. As you know, if a common token gets nearly enough to go into negativity then the possibility to make things worst is probably definite. They will be denied from existing and that's for sure.

90%? it seems like that is too much in my opinion.

But IMO,  90% isn't too much for the solely reason most of those tokens are considered as shitcoins.
3584  Other / Meta / Re: Wall of fame / shame. Shit posts so bad that they are actually funny on: September 12, 2018, 05:09:52 AM
We're doomed. Shitposting bounty-hunting aliens are capturing the Galaxy.

Copypasta of course.

I really don't know what's happening to the people right now, but in the least sense I can tell that these are the works of babies ( well, yah know, babies just do what they can see , and doesn't even bother whether they're doing is right or wrong ) These bounty hunters are even getting more insane as time passes by, and the work loads for reporters are also getting bigger.

You guys are unbelievable, if it's on me... I'd rather not waste my time reporting over and over again Grin I'll just do what Jet Cash usually do... Oh, well... I'm outta here. Wink
3585  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the all countries convert to cryptocurrency? on: September 12, 2018, 04:48:04 AM
Now that more and more countries are starting to go cashless (http://www.bbc.com/capital/story/20180427-does-a-cashless-society-benefit-everyone), is it possible that we also start converting to cryptocurrency? If that happens, what do you think are the advantages and disadvantages? Paying virtually is very convenient for me as I do not have to bring cash and it prevents petty theft but what is the disadvantage?

Simple. We will be doomed. It's not that convenient to have all transactions made digitally, In fact, not all people has the access through the internet and has the knowledge to use machineries in the current time. Fiat will still be needed even if the digital money will come to its time to maneuver the society as well as the economy...

They don't even understand what is this crypto thing.

Yes, Indeed. Not all people nor countries do understand how crypto works, even if you think a little step forward the possibility to accept crypto and replace Fiat will still be impossible.
3586  Other / Meta / Re: High ranks that don't use avatars on: September 11, 2018, 01:42:32 PM
There are some great images of cartoon computer mice.

I'm just wonder'n how should draw theymos, welsh and mprep Grin
As well as Satoshi Cheesy
I don't have the idea on how would I describe them in the best common factor, Or should I just draw them on how they post?
(Just helping out and giving some unique avatar that you might use Cheesy )
3587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Security remains the #1 Challenge to solve on: September 11, 2018, 12:19:11 AM
What would you say the #1 thing you want when it comes to digital currency?  I would say it is SECURITY and proof of security.

For me, it's not Security... it's RESPONSIBILTY / BEING RESPONSIBLE ... In some major aspects I really don't believe that hackers can do whatever they want anytime. Those thieves doesn't have enough knowledge to by pass the current system of every market, wallets, banks and etc.,

Being responsible is the number one thing  that comes off in every individual whose using digital currency.
If anyone here is a hacker then I dare them to hack my account, I'm a Professional Programmer so tell me if you have the guts to do the hacking.
3588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jobless No More on: September 11, 2018, 12:09:01 AM
-snip

When everyone knows about cryptocurrencies activities I think no more jobless people out there.

Poor English for poor thinking.
OP, am not trying to be an asshole but have you think that it won't be enough to run the community if we don't have any workers out there? Even if everyone knows about this shit they won't make a decision grabbing this opportunity for the sole reason that it won't be enough to sustain their everyday needs.

Unlike you, I think you are in an average family that has enough salary, and your just here in the community because you're seeing this as something like a money making machine...

Jobs / Works outside this digital economy has to be filled for it won't work out if there are no trasactions going on outside. If those campaigns and AIRDROPS didn't exist would you still think about that? Would you rather invite people to invest in a certain ICO? I guess not.

Silly noobs just like you doesn't really appreciate crypto at it's best.

AIRDROPS are really meant for those people who invest in the said ICO, they will get a certain amount of tokens that will help them gain more when it was released in the market. The same goes with the bounties, some may pay you in BTC and ETH but in exchange you have to support the projects. None of these are for free and certainly None of these will make every people stay alive and fill their needs everyday.

OP, you're just thinking out of the box because you're earning a small amount of penny. Don't ever say that crypto will be the solution for jobless people. And lastly, there are certain ICOs that requires KYC.
3589  Other / Meta / Re: High ranks that don't use avatars on: September 10, 2018, 02:44:04 PM
Dont worry fellas... I'll use my skills on drawing Wink I'll put your Iconic avatars that would best suit your usernames Wink
And so I would like to reserve for a slot here Wink tomorrow will be the time I think Wink
I'll be making some 20-30 users here that has a lot of fame.
3590  Other / Meta / Re: Vote for new moderators who deserve it. @theymos please take a look. on: September 10, 2018, 02:34:24 PM
I wanted something that started with "jet" to make things obvious.

At first I thought this was just a somekind of fan of JET CASH, because I think TalkMerit is enough to do another job. Oh well, sorry for judging your username in a wrong way of thinking. I really thought that this was just an alt of some shitty bastard that wants to earn Merits by licking the ass of Jet Cash.

Edited:

Jet Aid provides Bandaids for posts, mods provide them for the posters' mouths.

So you're saying that the user account's on Jet Cash's Ignore list will have its second chance like marlboroza did on giving red trust?...
Hope that it will also work...
3591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Altcoin Thread Spammers ( Nothing ) on: September 10, 2018, 02:23:44 PM
Hello!

As we look into this section, most of the threads are well spammed by Newbies and Jr. MEMBERS. Just like the Bitcoin Discussion.

Now, as I leave this thread open for all member, I'm considering the possibility that this will get dumped by those old threads. And also, it will surely ignored by these people.

Only several people will make a glimpse on this thread. I don't intend to open such topics but this is just a discussion referring to the major aspects that affect these section as well as the Forum itself. I strongly believe that spammer and non-quality posters will not take part of these kind of discussion and in any cases that they will, they're just about to say non-sense such as misleading the other viewers of the forum.

Wink

3592  Other / Meta / Re: Guide to earning merits on: September 10, 2018, 12:27:51 PM
For OP, if you really care about that flowchart diagram made by topkhai then I guess you should added it to the first post. Looking by some members said that you make a long post, then the flowchart diagram can be an answer to it. I too agree that your post is too long while it is constructive and the diagram can help some people who doesnt love to read a long post.

No need for your concerns mate... I think the OP is not this anymore and maybe he's not here anymore and this was made several months ago.
3593  Other / New forum software / Re: Profile Icons on: September 10, 2018, 08:32:05 AM
Well I didn't consider that to be the same as the icons... For the reason avatars is also required by the campaigns to be changed as soon as their member get qualified, These Icons should be somewhat free from that, and it is just viewable within the profile information of every accounts only.
And because I also think that these campaigns will never be gone even if we're about to transfer into the new Forum...

Thanks for giving the idea, but still I didn't consider that to be the samein criteria Wink
3594  Other / Meta / Re: Reporting Homographs here, Mods can decide what to do with them. on: September 10, 2018, 02:28:05 AM
Is it just me who thinks these are works of bots? Huh
Well Good Luck to you guys , hope you dig well... I suggest for you to hire Mole Rats to help you out Wink although the digging might be weird ;S

3595  Other / New forum software / Profile Icons on: September 09, 2018, 10:14:51 PM
I don't know if this is already suggested, I searched for "Profile Icon" but nothing comes up, so I've made this thread, if there is already the same as this please tell me and I will lock this and request for it to be deleted.

I just happened to think some icons that would also keep the forum more lively... and I think having this Icons will also be a help not entirely but as one of the factors that may seem to be as kind of entertainment for each user.

And to be specific: ICON = Profile Logo/Pic ( only accesible for MEMBER ++
3596  Other / Meta / Re: Vote for new moderators who deserve it. @theymos please take a look. on: September 09, 2018, 08:48:05 PM
Simply voted for these guys:

-LoyceV
-Jet Cash
-The Pharmacist
-Vod
-marlboroza

A good sense of humour has a lot of things to do in moderating a section/board Wink I guess these guys should have the honor to do the tasks and also can be trusted in the mean time as long as they're alive giving a damn punishments to those shitty bastards that keeps on spamming every boards here on the forum Grin

As for Jet Cash, I think the IGNORE LISTS  of him will be flooded by many user accounts as well as The Pharmacist's ULTRA NEGA BOOSTER Cheesy ( Getting excited of seeing RED Colors Everyday Wink even though he doesn't want the job... )
3597  Other / Meta / Just A Crazy Thinking. A theymos thing :P on: September 06, 2018, 04:00:39 AM
As we all know, Theymos doesn't communicate to the Members of these forum frequently. Although the forum has a lot of problems facing on the line, he doesn't bother himself from hiring new mods to help him from the tasks.

As pugman says, maybe theymos is really working in a one man company... but have you ever think maybe satoshi is still there supporting theymos behind the scenes? And maybe this is the reason why theymos hasn't decide any of the possible solutions yet?

And in addition, who will take the place of the current position if theymos will quit from this just like satoshi does from back then. Wink
Drop your suggestions below Smiley

Just a crazy thinking Grin
3598  Other / Meta / Re: Have we left "Bitcoin Discussion" board for spammers, forever?? on: September 06, 2018, 03:50:08 AM
Some new threads with a low number of posts are still spam threads, because those sort of threads have been made multiple times.

Simply because of their post counts. Almost 98% of these spam bastards are on a bounty campaign of some shitty tokens that they believe have a potential on making through the market.
Even the Mods doesn't bother anymore to delete topics on those boards. They'll just take their time deleting it if someone reports it.
3599  Other / Off-topic / Re: MERITS FOR DESERVING MEMBERS OF FORUM on: September 06, 2018, 03:24:09 AM
May be it is not that good idea, but surely not a bad one.
Let it try to check whether it works or not.

Perhaps it will not work. Agree with pugman. Spreadsheet will full by spammers and you will not find legit person who deserve merit. In my opinion, make a quote list thoes are really deserve merit and post it on meta. Hope they will get some merit.

I'm a spammer Grin and I also tried filling up the form Grin This will be a win win hahaha.
I wish sMerits can be distributed to Smiley I'm now happy being a Member Smiley Just earning Merits just to have sMerits Smiley
3600  Other / Meta / Re: @theymos, we want those sections back to us, new moderators? on: September 06, 2018, 03:02:21 AM
I still don't understand why theymos is being like the One-person company. And he lives in the US.  Undecided

Why should there be trust issues for hiring accountants and professionals? Does it have anything to do with slickage not delivering the new forum as expected or what? And there are people here on this forum who wouldn't run away with a few hundred dollars.

Maybe he has these issues on the past. That's why even if it's hard for him, he doesn't bother hiring other people for this tasks.
Anyways, what may be the reason, we are still in need of new moderators that must take place for those mods who aren't active.

We should treat theymos for a drink here , maybe after this he will definitely do something Grin
