3581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: price speculation ltc/btc on: August 25, 2014, 03:35:30 PM
IMO LTC will continue to be the silver to bitcoin.
3582  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: S3 Firmware Update on: August 22, 2014, 05:39:48 PM
The good news is the firmware update ALMOST completely silences the beeping. Why you can't silence it completely without desoldering the speaker, that I do not know.

They should of just put a switch on it to enable/disable it.  $.20 for a simple dip switch.  Although the #1 priority is making it work soo I'd rather an working S3 lol.  Bitmain is ggggggggggggreat!
3583  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why is there so many conspiracy junkies here? on: August 22, 2014, 03:49:23 PM
Show me a video that actually shows a plane hitting the twin towers and not one that fades out before and back in after it hits it.

Where did all the gold go tha was under the trade center?
3584  Economy / Speculation / Re: ready for $400 again? on: August 22, 2014, 01:52:39 PM
The price is dropping a bit since yesterday but I don't think we will ever see sub 400$ prices.

I'd gander we will see a few more flash crashes deep into the $300 if not $200 in a desperate attempt to get us HODLers to sell.  Don't be a bitch, hodl and buy when they try to manipulate.  When someone dumps 10k coins on the market they are hoping to pick up 15k at a lower price.
3585  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin bubble imminent on: August 22, 2014, 01:50:23 PM
$5000 can be reached in the next bubble peak, the problem isn't "if" but "when" we will hit those high values.

It could legit be 2 years..
3586  Economy / Economics / Re: Obama has fulfilled his promises to fix the economy on: August 22, 2014, 01:49:22 PM
You should read about Rome and what happend when they started devaluing their coins..  Money printing has only ended one way, I don't know why you would expect anything different.
3587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Feathercoin on: August 21, 2014, 08:28:58 PM
Feathercoin is to Litecoin what Litecoin is to Bitcoin. Make of that what you will.

This is what was crossing my mind..

It seems there is a lot more going on with it though lol, wow.
3588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Feathercoin on: August 21, 2014, 06:30:27 PM
I don't thinks so. It stays or falls in the last months. Maybe its because new coins and technics released and we heard nothing from this developer.

Not a single altcoin has even come close to holding it's value since Nov :S. They are all just starting to make an actual upswing now.
3589  Economy / Speculation / Re: I hope Bitcoin can go to the moon on: August 21, 2014, 04:45:45 PM
We should legit send and encrypted private key with some BTC @ the public address to the moon.
3590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What a horrible time for Crypto on: August 21, 2014, 03:38:41 PM
lol not if you invested in NLG at the start. TBH never seen anything like it, it's now officially the top country coin.

Question is for how long.

I have never seen any country coin last longer than 6 months before it go bust.

HUm.....

BBQcoin, Feathercoin, Litecoin, Primecoin, Peercoin... should I go on?
3591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Primecoin on: August 21, 2014, 03:37:20 PM
Anyone interested in Primecoin? I am completely new to this specific currency and heard about it today. I see that its concept is based on searching for chains of prime numbers and the miners dont use SHA256 hashing. I checked their website http://primecoin.io/, the current market cap is over $12k.

What do you think, does it have a future?

It's fallen HARD from it's old value but..  Primecoin unlike many of the others is actually doing something for the world.. finding primes!  I have some Prime.
3592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Feathercoin on: August 21, 2014, 03:35:49 PM
Opinions on this coin?

I know the alt situation is starting to recover a lot..  Will it hit it's old value?
3593  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dollars not accepted here! on: August 21, 2014, 02:43:00 PM
But they will continue to accept Russian Ruble, European Euro, Chinese Yuan and Swiss Franc. What does it tell you?

Exactly. They will stop accepting USD does not mean they'll start accepting cryptos.

Nothing to see here, move on.

Wat...

WHY DO YOU PEOPLE DO ZERO RESEARCH... They currently do accept Crypto.. I've bought 5 oz of silver from them with BTC.
3594  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dollars not accepted here! on: August 21, 2014, 02:42:13 PM
It is illegal for any US company to refuse fiat payment.
No, it isn't. Whatever gave you that idea?

Any debt that was offered to be paid in with USD and refused is considered paid.  Probably the confusion.. however I'd expect laws to force people to accept the USD very very very soon.
3595  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dollars not accepted here! on: August 21, 2014, 02:41:10 PM

Fuck all except the MD of Amagi being an attention seeking ranter and raver.

All those currencies are backed by the USD, so what the fuck does he think he is protecting himself from?

They are taking no Fiat is the plan...............  They will not continue to accept Fiat sooo........
3596  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price can only rise, here's why on: August 21, 2014, 02:40:08 PM
As long as those in Bitcoin continue to be in bitcoin and continue to support BTC this is true.
3597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: United States shale oil boom, bitcoin and Blockchain! on: August 21, 2014, 02:34:18 PM
.. it is not cheap to ship natural gas.  Us Canadians have no need for your gas we have our own..

You didn't think that war in Ukraine was to help the Ukraine people did you?  It's a hope Meica can shutdown Russia's natural gas and charge 3 to 4 times to Europe for theirs.  Europe seems to not be very fond of that plan.. I wonder why.

America is not a democracy..  not even freaking close.
3598  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is your idea about fractional reserve practice at bitcoin exchanges? on: August 21, 2014, 02:31:33 PM
Fractional reserve is ok if they are willing to cough up any loss due to taking risk on directional bet or even lending.

I 100% disagree.  It is criminal our entire monteary system is criminal.
3599  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is your idea about fractional reserve practice at bitcoin exchanges? on: August 21, 2014, 02:30:57 PM
Have you ever heard of MT. Gox?  If not why don't you take a google they tried fractional reserves..  Did not go too well.  This is why we the gov should keep the F out.. alas they are pigs and will attempt to countrol everything to give the other pigs at the top an advantage.  Lucky for us most of them cannot create a txt file.
3600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Joulecoin looks good on: August 21, 2014, 01:51:10 PM
