Where does this mess leave Bitcoinbuilder?
Bitcoinbuilder's main trade was buying Goxcoins at a discount for real Bitcoins. He was gambling that Mt.Gox would come out of it's problems.
If Mt.Gox is bust, those Goxcoins are worth nothing, and Bitcoinbuilder is the loser in the deal (the gamble).
Or have I got the wrong end of the stick?
Lol, why would Bitcoinbuilder be a loser? Theyx bought shit all, it's their users who are buying goxcoins, BBuilder just takes a hefty fee cut.

SecondMarket was not listed in the "Gox Stinks But We Swear We're Honest" Coinbase blog post last night? Hm, are they buying MtGox?

Gox removing their site is not exactly the rumour. There's nothing worse that could come from their statement, only eventually something positive - like them being bought or so.

I guess he took his time to make a trip to nearby Estonia and checked it up, you don't pay 1 mil. eur for an image ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) It surely might need some restoration, it's pretty cheap.

The assumption is, the price would be crashed so wall st can load up on BTC. Maybe the price is being 'crashed' so that wall st can load up on GOX itself. They saw who was running it they saw it was flaky. The fucked with his exchange until he got scared. Now Mark is the one that has finally capitulated and given in and sold gox for pennies on the bitcoin. That would be how wall st does it ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) There was always a talk that big guys are mostly interested in Bitcoin businesses, more than in currency itself. Quite logical thing tbh, recurring money over risk of trading etc.

"We should have an official announcement ready soon-ish. We are currently at a turning point for the business. I can't tell much more for now as this also involves other parties." They are being bought obviously. If their loss is not too big then it might be good buy. And it might be great dfor Bitcoinland overall if some big and competent name(s) buy them.

I lost 11 BTC there but then made 50 BTC of price drop it caused. But to be honest, even without those 50 BTC I'm not too bothered. It's relatively small part of my holdings, so I'm not gonna lose any nerves about it. Those 11 BTC look as easily lost as easily they were made so fuck it, I moved on, if I ever get them it's gonna feel like I made some btc form some alt pump ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

As I said, that's your problem. You want GBP, you get your GBP. Once big rally starts you have less Bitcoin and thus make less gain on price rise. What I am talking about is that my crypto USD net worth currently is about the same, and probably even bit more, like it was when Bitcoin was 800$. But I approx. doubled my Bitcoin count in that period so the drop to this level haven't made any difference. As long as I maintain to rise my Bitcoin count similarly to the percent of Bitcoin price drop, and so far is relatively good, I am not too worried about Bitcoin price. I just have to wait for next rally for that net worth to become much bigger. That's a difference between two of us. You trade and short to gain USD, I trade and short to gain BTC. So far people that did what I am doing got much more than people who did what you are doing. We'll see if that will change but I don't think so. I don't expect you to change your trading philosophy though ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

fell you bud. but keep trying & at least you got 60BTCs potentially ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) That has always been my aim tbh. To keep my capital intact for when market reverses. Trading a bear market is no mean feat. By definition, far easier to lose money than to make money. Your main problem is that all your trades are made with a goal of making USD, not BTC. Set yourself to maximize your BTC and even in bear market you at least cover some of your net worth loss, and with each new rally or mini rally that net worth loss turns to net gain. But to do that and feel comfortably you need to actually believe BTC real value is higher than 100 USD or so ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) yesterday i shotred 35 BTC and bought back today 45 BTC @470$ (was a little bit late cuz asleep).. but now im not sure at what price to short again ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) I'm not sure either.. I made 50-60 BTC on this drop as it was obvious we are going down but usually I'm shit in trading BTC vs USD and made90% of my BTC trading alts, shares etc.. I'll probably not trade BTC I bought vs USD in last 3-4 days anymore, I don't feel comfortably selling at these prices. Hopefully some cheap alt opportunity will come these days.

I did buy. I bought $400, but just sold $520. I will rebuy on 4 hour macd.
Why are you not already richer than me? ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) I've only been in bitcoin for almost a year and I started with a VERY small deposit. It was supposed to be just for fun and to experiment with arbitrage (which never happened). you bought some at 400$ but that's far away from your entry as you said your first hits were around 460-470 and you said you bought bunch at 450 as you thought that's local bottom.

well, that bitcoinbuilder volume is surely not all the time volume as some suggested yesterday as it was at 40k+ yesterday. So it's 24h volume and they made close to 2k BTC yesterday. Wow, wow, wow

I'm not sure we'll go much down from here.
+1, I'm not selling for 450, fuck this shit. Gox's dead was priced in good part anyway. I just bought a bunch more at 450 that wasn't in my buy orders. it felt like a local bottom. The question is to sell or not to sell if it rises to some 550-600 or so. And then there's Europe waking up now.. My orders all fulfilled, I knew that I had to raise the price just bit or I would miss the buying, I did have an advanced order where it would sell at 550 automatically, but I woke up and cancel it right away, Mtgox halting trading is something I take as positive ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Sorry, I forgot to say good morning Bitcointalk Confirmed! got out of bed to place more orders I still have 55 BTC orders down to 420$. Bought lot today, some 65k$. Hopefully, it won't go below 400$, I'd be fine if that level is not breached, or at least not for long. But it looks we're back to 450-460 on Stamp, mini rally didn't last long. it will break the 400, but I am playing it safe here, I didnt want to try my luck... I don't care about short breaking as long as it doesn't stay there for long.

I don't know why are they buying at these prices but I've put 20 BTC order at 0.033.
Probably crazy thing to do but reward kinda looks attractive.
