But afterburner let me set it at like 300mhz, without problems. And gpu-z too confirm that memory is at 300mhz. Or both lie?

It likely didn't.

GPU-z main tab = what card is SET at.
GPU-Z sensor tab = what card is running at.
cgminer GPU display = what card is running at.

I think you will find the sensor tab on GPU-Z shows a different thing.
Alternative if you "set" it 300 Mhz in GPU-Z and then look into cgminer it will show it at stock.
That's what i see

(ye well 310, for 300 i should restart msi afterburner once more but i'm too lazy)

Tried the --gpu-memclock on a 6950, it doesn't work. Memory clock doesn't change when i start cgminer.
While --gpu-engine work perfectly and change the core clock.

Oh well not a problem, i'll still use msi afterburner for changing clocks

Except that, cgminer work without problems.
3585  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Omg crazy 7970 clocks??? on: February 02, 2012, 02:33:54 PM
Trixx says 300mhz ram but Afterburner report 1375mhz

I suppose Trixx don't changed it...

3588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The way US government can crack down Silk Road, Tor and Bitcoin on: February 01, 2012, 04:35:39 PM
If you want weapons in USA you just go in a shop and buy whatever you want...

Then the question is: who needs overpriced guns from SR when normal people can buy guns in the US freely?
It's for ppl not in the US i suppose.

1. Silk Road sells guns.
2. Guns could be used by terrorists.
3. Use that as an excuse to apply NDAA and detain random Bitcoin and Tor users.
4. Profit!

EDIT: To elaborate second point: a government agency would be only required to present some evidence that a gun sold by Silk Road ended up in hands of a terrorist.
Actually, for USA government, drugs are much worse than guns. Guns are fine in USA, am i right? With the emendment thing

Are you guys seriously blaming cuz because a machine no more work?

Guess what, it's a machine, it can break. Eventually it WILL break.

Wow it survived the washing machine? And this is surprising? Wtf, a yubikey is pure solid state component, a washing machine usually has 40-60° hot water, much less than my GPU and CPU run daily. As long as the package is sturdy enough, why the hell it should not survive?
3593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CIA "paying spooks" with bitcoin on: January 30, 2012, 10:43:56 PM
Satoshi still doesn't exist, it's a AI that will appear only in the future and will be created thanks to bitcoins. And then it will go back in the time to invent bitcoin.
Something seems wrong? Oh c'mon, time travel doesn't require logic!

If the government is corrupt then the only solution is something like in lybia and other places: revolution.

3599  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Why do you mine on deepbit? on: January 28, 2012, 10:56:10 PM
Davinci pool has 0% fee for example, and pay per share.
3600  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Why do you mine on deepbit? on: January 28, 2012, 09:51:30 PM
Condone or not condone?

If the pool is pay per share/per score there is no need to "condone" anything: pool hopping is useless on that pool. Problem solved.
