3581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Sentiment Poll for June on: June 04, 2022, 01:07:47 AM
Regardless of month or technical analysis that you look at no crypto is going to do well in June for the most part.  We headed (if we aren't already) dead center into a bear market.  Some coins will do better than others but generally don't expect any sustained good streaks for any coin, including eth.
The month of June will be bearish in my opinion too, this bear market will last for long, though June started with a mild one day bull run that drove bitcoin from $26300 to $34500, but the market dropped back. There is nothing special in this year than mimicking 2018, and if it fully mimicked 2018, very possible we are still going more bottom before this year ends.

It’s always like this, we are fully dependent to the price of Bitcoin so expect a more related trend and if Bitcoin continues to sideways, ETH will also follow that. There’s no big news with the market right now and with ETH so I expect for a longer sideways trend and I don’t think ETH will move that much on its price for this Month. Above $1700 might be the safest price for me, if it drops on that level I will surely buy more ETH especially at the price of $1500 if ever.
Not only ethereum that will follow, all other cryptocurrencies are going to follow, this is a time for bear market, some coins may even become dead.  There is no safest price, it is possible that ether can go below $1000, anything is possible during bear market as it happened in the past.
3582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoin will go 10x this year? on: June 04, 2022, 01:00:10 AM
In 2020, bitcoin was at $3800, in 2021 it reached $69000, that is even more than 10x. Altcoins are more volatile and increase also over 10x within those period. If you are able to spot the all time low of this bear market and invest until 2025, you will make over 10x profit on any good coin you invest, but invest in only high marketcap coins because altcoins are risky. Take note that bitcoin can also increase 10x too.
3583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tron (TRX) Discussion on: June 04, 2022, 12:55:35 AM
tron is a very good alternative to ether but obviously ethereum is still the best, we will wait for the changes that ethereum will make then will tron be an alternative that will continue to be used? we can not conclude but maybe there will be obstacles in the future.
What changes that wants to be made to ethereum, to finally gonusjng PoS in a way the fee will be reduced, that can help ethereum adoption though, but I still think that ethereum fee can be as low as Tron fee with the ethereum blockchain congestion.

It's true that so far, the price of Tron has practically no impact due to the decline in the price of Bitcoin,
despite the development of Tron which is still like that I still see Tron as a pretty good project,
to be clearer, just follow the progress and see what will happen in the future
The market is bearish and does not favor any coin for now while altcoins are also more reducing invalue, even the ethereum market dominance that was over 19% some weeks ago is now less than 17%, so that is just it, Tron too decrease in value and more as the market is bearish.
3584  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TA or FA which is a better choice for market speculation. on: June 04, 2022, 12:48:33 AM
Depends on what you studying really. There is entirely different perspective to bitcoin TA and altcoin TA. I mean it’s very obvious bitcoin gives you whole new trading patterns all the time while altcoin will always follow bitcoin path. For alts its fact and fundamentals that they depend on bitcoin a lot. So many times it’s possible to forecast altcoins next move if you have understood bitcoin analysis.
But do not be deceived by this, altcoins are more volatile than bitcoin, there are some things to consider like the leverage used, the liquidation price and knowing that altcoin can fail. When you are trading, the technical analysis you will use for altcoins is different because when the fund you are trading with is not yet liquidated for bitcoin, it might have liquidated for altcoin. The coin used in trading can also bring about loss.
3585  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin drops to $8k on: June 04, 2022, 12:44:03 AM
Not believing with Bitcoin values drop under $8,000 and support price I think only under $29,000. But never have any possible with bitcoin if always have bad news we can get under $8,000 although as little possibility. Many company accepted bitcoin and they won't losing much money if have to sell bitcoin under $8,000. Actually if bitcoin drop few percent from price now I think many investor will buy back and earn moment for bitcoin back to higher price.
With last 4 year cycle volatility, bitcoin only decreased like 5x of the ATH, if the ATH in this 4 year cycle is $69000, then I predict the lowest price can not be lesser than $14000, I do not think bitcoin can fall to less than $10000 again, but what is possible is $100000 which will occur in the next 4 year cycle bull market.
3586  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is available on NO KYC Crypton Exchange on: June 04, 2022, 12:40:41 AM
Well, that's the common thing that usually happens in new exchanges these days but why would someone use the untrusted exchange as a wallet?
Even trusted exchanges should not be used like you said, only trading funds should be on exchanges, after trading, it should be sent back to a noncustododial wallet.

Even if you are using Binance I still wouldn't recommend it to use as a wallet because anytime there's a huge risk of losing your funds that you can't do once it's gone. We have free wallets online like electrum or you can buy a hardware wallet like the ledger nano.
Not only Binance but also all other centralized exchanges, they have the complete control of your own asset.

And I believe that most of these days exchanges nowadays are becoming more centralized that they tend to ask KYC to all of their users and I think we can't help it once the government regulation tried to make all exchanges accountable like banks. lol
Just that the exchanges are even centralized before, just that the KYC requirements is becoming stringent than before.
3587  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Future trading without leverage on: June 04, 2022, 12:33:53 AM
Just for clarity, I am using Bybit and FTX mostly. I trade on Binance too. They show "there is no liquidation price For a time being" I hope you know what that means  Grin

I shorted LUNA on Binance until my position was closed by the ADL engine, that was before they delisted it. Luna, may have been one of a kind, but it does not mean it can not happen again.

This is a fact. "You can get liquidated if the Bitcoin price drops drastically below the liquidation price"
Thank you very much, I have just understood what you are saying, even also if a coin got to an extent of price fall or depreciation, it is normal that that the coin have no value again, but the less risky position for liquidation is still 1x long position, but for bitcoin because I do not trust altcoin. I think it is not also good to open a position for long which is what I want to get from this thread.

Thank you all that contributed.
3588  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Future trading without leverage on: June 03, 2022, 11:35:46 PM
You are joking with markets, brother.

You could say this with BTC because reaching $148 would take some time, but it's not impossible. I say this as a true believer of Bitcoin, but when it comes to markets, anything can happen.

Look at the case of Luna, for example

When the price was at let say $90
Long on 1x Leverage ---> Liquidation price $1.8

How much is LUNA's price again right now after the dramatic crash? $0.000096
I am confused, are the exchanges faking it and just do not indicate the liquidation price, make people to think it is infinity?

Luna is one of its kind that is uncommon, bitcoin can never be like that.

I got luna at the time but it was only liquidated when Binance delisted it from future trading.
3589  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Future trading without leverage on: June 03, 2022, 11:09:06 PM
As far as I know there's no point in using leverage if you're just going to use 1x (1x leverage is virtually pretty much just buying spot), because you're going to pay the hourly funding rates anyway. The only logical reason to use 1x leverage is if you're shorting.
Assuming you are having USDT or USDC, you can open a long position for bitcoin, if the price of bitcoin increase, you gain, that is where your point is valid. But you can open short position, if bitcoin price decrease, you gain, that is why future trading is different from spot trading, it is not only about the leverage.

Who lied to you. If you open a Bitcoin position right now at 1x Leverage.
Longing right now will get you a liquidation price of around $148
No, but maybe exchanges differs. I use Binance and OKX, the liquidation price for 1x leverage used to open a long position is infinity, no price stated unlike using more than 1x. I can do it and snap it for you to see.

Borrowing is still involved. Anything to do with Leverage means you are borrowing, and you are using the asset you have in the futures account as collateral. If the market goes extremely opposite, your position will get liquidated. Do not be misled
I will still agree to this, but you money can not be liquidated with 1x long, the problem here is for the exchange to delist such coin which will result to automatic refund with losses.
3590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why we should Buy some Bitcoins on: June 03, 2022, 07:50:22 PM
Buy bitcoin because it is what you can spend, it is an asset, it has limited supply and it is decentralized compared to altcoins, altcoins are not decentralized.

Every time is the right time to buy more Bitcoin most especially when you are buying for long-term purposes.
Not everytime is the time to buy bitcoin, bitcoin will still rise to $100000 but those that bought it when it was at $60000 or above will not be happen right now, the best time to buy bitcoin is in the bear time when many people will be afraid to buy.
3591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best UI/UX Gambling Platform? on: June 03, 2022, 07:41:29 PM
Have you tried Stake, Sportbet, Roobet, Rollbit, Duelbit and Betnomi they are all good with good users interface. Presently I have preferred to use Stake, you can try it out and see how the site is good. But I have also liked Sportbet. Cloudbet is also good. But if I have to choose two among them all that I listed, I will choose Stake and Sportbet, but other betting sites are also having good UI and UX.
3592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Effectively Maximize Profits from Online Crypto Casinos on: June 03, 2022, 07:26:45 PM
There were times that some strategy actually works. But you are right, some days our strategy might be effective we can have a winning streak but I believe that nobody's know the perfect formula in every casinos, it is very hard to know the algorithm because it is algorithm I hope everyone got my Point. Based on OP's list I agree that we should learn to monitor our funds of course, as always.
I do not see any particular strategy needed for gambling, just take one, two or three games and see if you will win. Some people can accumulate up to 10 or more matches, the more the accumulation the more the probability of losing the bet. But if just one match is take, the probability to win increased but with low odd. I have preferred to take just one match, use the amount of money I can afford to lose and I win than lose because I do not bet often but on matches I predict to win.
3593  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Recover old Bitcoin wallet on: June 03, 2022, 06:45:40 PM
My friend buyed Bitcoins in 2011 from Austrian Company, they make payment via Bank. After few months they lost his iPhone where is stored all data from company and Bitcoin account. From that time they is unable to find that company, i search for him but i can't find nothing. I see lot members here know all about Bitcoin from start. Maybe anyone know who sell Bitcoins in Austria 2011 year, and where can be that Bitcoins stored. They know email used on that company and we can recover them.
Since 2011 and noncustododial wallet did not used for it, possibly the coin is long gone. Even how the coin was bought has been forgotten not to talk of knowing the login details of the site used, some sites that were exchanges that time had been hacked and cease to exist. If she can get the statement of account at that time from his bankand check, possibly useful information can be gotten there.
3594  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What Do Centralized Exchanges Consider as Taint? on: June 03, 2022, 06:35:30 PM
Imagine all those signature campaign participants who receive their payments directly in their casino accounts on a weekly basis. There are such campaigns. I remember when I was in the old FJ campaign. The weekly rates were always paid out to your casino account. According to Gemini or Binance.US, those coins are tainted, dirty, and worthless, and will probably by frozen or confiscated if I try to deposit them on those sites. Yet, I did nothing wrong. I provided a service and was paid for it.
I can remember this also applied to Coinbase, it is one of the reasons to read the terms and conditions of any custodial wallet or exchange that you are using, you should know that the exchanges and wallet have the control and not you, they can because of your coins came from gambling site to freeze your coins, send it to noncustododial wallet and you are good or use a centralized exchange that accept coins from gambling sites. But that is not what tainted coins are if the gambling site are legal and follow government rules and regulations. Tainted coins are coins that are determined to have been used for illegal purpose before.
3595  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What role are faucets and freebitco.in playing in BTC mining? on: June 03, 2022, 06:29:13 PM
There were/are faucets which use your computer processing power to mine crypto while you are accessing them. It was announced as a passive earning method, but I fear it can lead to prejudice and damage to the desktop components or invasion of the system by malicious virus and hackers. It really doesn't sound good...

Ah yes I forgot they exist... but since we're talking about bitcoin, I'd stay far away from any browser miner who claims they're mining bitcoin given how unprofitable it is with CPU/GPU, you won't get good results from it.
I have not seen this before, what I have seen before are apps and sites that confuse people that they are mining sites in a way to think you can use your laptop and phones to mine but not actually how it works. Some even are mining but no more profitable. The faucets that I know like freebitco are the real faucets that reward people for solving captcha and the reward is not that profitable compared to the time used to be solving captcha.
3596  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: A Little way to find Good campaigns on: June 03, 2022, 06:21:55 PM
Isn't this a harder task to do than just proceeding directly to either Services or Bounties (Altcoins)?
It is not hard for me to do and I see it as a good way, for just someone to check service board and check the lists of campaigns there up to 3 to 5 pages which should have shown all presently existing active campaigns. It is easy to also use this method to see the signature campaigns on this forum but I use it to track new campaigns as I am not new to this forum anymore.

For altcoins, according to this thread topic, a littler way to find good campaigns, I see bounties as poor campaigns that does not worth my time.
3597  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crypto arbitrage resources needed on: June 03, 2022, 06:15:29 PM
Anyone knows any reputable international crypto arbitrage resources? Any links to trusted services, websites, forums etc. are highly appreciated.
There is nothing special about arbitrage trading, I think the guide above will help you about it. It is just a way you will check for the price of cryptocurrencies on exchanges, like bitcoin and other coins, you will see different prices, you will try and move a coin that has lower price to the exchange that has higher price and convert it to a stable coin to make money from it. It can be risky than it is explained and it requires high amount of money for you to be able to make better profit.
3598  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: free crypto with learn and earn on: June 03, 2022, 06:10:16 PM
I remember when I started to know about cryptocurrencies, I registered on a pay to click site, the site bring up ads and I click on it to earn 00000004 BTC per each click, it was a waste of time like faucets too. Later the site popped up a fake mining and popped up that 0.005 BTC has been mined for me, that I should pay into a given bitcoin address. I was happen that I did not pay to that address, I would have been scammed. Free? No, waste of time and also it can lead to scam. Not worth it at all.
3599  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Signal to Start Trading and the Signal to Close Trading on: June 03, 2022, 06:03:24 PM
ndicators are only for giving a general idea about the market movement and not for accurately predicting the movement. Moreover, technical analysis is a pseudo-science and is more or less correct in 50-50 cases because a lot of factors are involved here.
Indicators are actually helping in prediction to know the direction the market will go, either up or down, but there are sometimes that indicators may fail, there are sometimes you may think the indicator failed to give you the right prediction, but later the market will correct itself to the direction the indicators are pointing to. I have used indicators and they work successfully. But no using only indicators will help, also self discipline and risk management are all important.

What I prefer is the long term game for buying low and selling high. In between, just hold, dont look at the market prices and panic - get involved in some other stuff in life Grin

When the market bounces back you have your chance again. But very little use of indicators would be needed for this. The major use of indicators is in day-trading and that too ends up being a gamble.

So if you want to stay with the advantage in your hands, better to stick to long term trading and use indicators will a bag of salt.
Long term is the best, let the market fall, buy and wait and sell when the market has risen, but buy again when the market fall. No indicator is needed for this but some professionals use indicators too like the SMA.
3600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB or ETH ? on: June 03, 2022, 05:52:17 PM
ETH 2.0 is around of conner with ETA PoS around August or September. So I said right now, ETH has more chance to increase its price than BNB in the future. Don't get me wrong, I like both ETH and BNB too and of course, know how much the transaction fee cost between ETH and BNB. But for the short-term potential of high profit, ETH is better than BNB right now.
Because of low transaction fee, you think ETH has more chance to increase than BNB, I do not think so, what I think is that the more the marketcap the less the volatility. The marketcap of ETH is almost 10x of BNB.

Among other cooms, Bitcoin, BNB and ETH are my personal choice. If we'll look at the price history of BNB and ETH, we could see how they developed and reached a good potential. ETH network is already fixing and developing its gas fee issues so I believe that it's worth buying it during this market situation.
Do you use ETH for daily transaction? The fee can be reduced, but that doe not mean you can not still make use of low fee when mempool is not congested.
