Yes, any appreciation is better than none. Take me for example. I've taken part in every RooBet art contest, and I've never won a single prize. But the process of creating something which can be called "art" is so pleasant that I participate in another contest, and then in another one. Now I know from my past experience that getting any money prize is highly unlikely for me, so I'm saying to my wife "I hope to earn some merit with it, at least". And I mean it. I value merits a lot, and I feel really happy when getting them. Smiley
I have also learned graphic designing a little but have not participated in roobet art contests but planning on for the upcoming one.Whenever i create something it gives me immense feeling of joy but the more happiness comes whenever someone appreciate it in any format whether merit on forum or other way in personal.

You should definitely participate in the upcoming ones. From my experience, and I was carefully examining every entry in each Roobet Art Contest, professionally made artworks always have good chances of winning a prize(or even two). That doesn't imply that complete amateurs like myself shouldn't try to participate, though. I believe some times it's enough to just make the grand jury smile with your work, and the prize is yours. Smiley Now I'm intrigued to see your art submission to the contest. Hope we'll have another one soon.

I have a question about Majestic7. Today I visited FortuneJack, and when I checked on if I didn't forget to submit my predictions and saw this picture:

See that last line Man. City v Brentford? It turns out that I didn't choose goal scorer there. But when I click "CHOOSE GOAL SCORER" I'm getting this alert

In fact, I think I remember saving those predictions, but my question is, how could I save it like that?

Ngannou doesnt have huge following in social media like Masvidal or Mcgregor thats why even if he is good at his boxing and his grappling, he will still be under appreciated by White. Its a subscribers game today which there is a cancel culture 😁

If Francis Ngannou, according to Dan White, has a small number of followers in social media, he should help him increase these numbers and stand with him at least for a photo with belt. After all, Dana White should want to increase his range to earn more on the next fight. In my opinion, he acted very strangely.

I don't get it. How's it a small number of followers if Francis Ngannou has 6 times more of them than Ciryl Gane?

In case you don't know, 661.3K followers is considered a lot. Kamaru Usman has 712.2K followers, for example.

They are already on sale at opensea. For example you can get Francis Ngannou for 0.25 ETH. Just search UFC Strike. Or https://opensea.io/UFC-NFTs looks like their official account.

I think this is what they call a Champions NFT moment. Would someone buy it? This is just a short clip, that millions already saw. This is not unique and dont give any extra rights for NFT holders.

Well, yeah, this is what's interesting to me too. I doubt anyone, apart from those connected to the sellers, is gonna buy it. Just look at the stats

Only one item has been bought so far. That's what you do so that people wouldn't think no one wants it. (My personal opinion. I may be wrong, of course).

So I collected the 50 WoF spins and spinned each one of them manually. To be honest, it is indeed worth spinning manually than clicking Play All.
But I can't do it for more than 50 spins the next time  Tongue Funny thing is the base reward was 50 lottery, 50 RP and 50 satoshis which coincides with the 50 WoF spins.
Too many 50s here. Below all the results though. I kept a note of what I was having already and subtracted it with after spinning all the 50 spins.

800 Satoshis
1150 Lottery tickets
550 RP

For 50 spins I think these are moderate results. Unfortunately, for all the spins I got only the base rewards.

I always click play all, as I don't have the patience to manually spin all my WOF (especially 50 in a row). The rewards you got are not bad, but indeed not great. Hopefully you will get lucky with some of the lottery tickets you got.

Even I would have simply selected the Play All option if it wasn't for Betwrong to suggest and try the Play One for 50 times to get the thrill.
While the thrill was there indeed, the results are still moderate. It would have been worth if at least 2-3 spins were more than just the base reward.

Of course that would be great, but to me your results are still not that bad. Out of 50 WoF rolls you won 800 satoshis, meaning 16 spins brought you some sats, and you won 550 RPs, that's 11 spins. So, this is, of course, my personal opinion, but I think if most of the spins gave you RPs and sats instead of Lotter tickets - you were lucky. The most worthless reward, imo, is LTs, even if it's thousands of them at once. Let's imagine you were getting top LTs prize each spin, 5k tickets. With 50 spins you would get 250k Lottery tickets, but your win chance would still be less than 0.2%. So, it is likely that after the draw you would find out that you won nothing. And that's with top LTs prize each time!

So, again, your results don't look poor to me, but, of course I wish you better luck next time. Smiley

I think you should always rely on your own instead of waiting for someone to do all job instead of you. There are plenty of ways to scam people and those Youtube Vloggers are not the worst devils on the Earth. You should always keep your eyes open as you can be deceived at any particular moment of your life. Too many financial services and all this stuff that want you to give them your money for nothing. So, it is important for each of us to be on guard to avoid scam traps.

That's right, don't wait for regulations to come, regulate it for yourself by yourself. If you think a video should be banned - don't watch it, or, maybe not watching anything from that channel would be a good idea.

~
Unfortunately this will be difficult to eliminate, and for Google to ban. Then, it may not even be in the ads themselves, but in the videos on the platform, and in that sense it's even more difficult.

Good point. When we ask for regulations, we should understand that many of good stuff can be banned too along the way. I bet there are no dishonest streamers and no scammers on the North Korea's national intranet, called Kwangmyong. But do we need such a thing? I don't think so.

Articles are always sponsored but the way they are sponsored may differ. For example, some sites are affiliated with a casino, while others may simply write a review and be paid a fixed amount. Anyway, most articles are biased. However, I don't think that this is too bad. With this unbeatable long-term house edge, most casinos work transparently, meaning they don't have to cheat gamblers as they know that a gambler will lose all he has invested in gambling on the long distance.

No, of course articles are not always sponsored. Firstly, there are honest journalists for whom telling the truth is more important than earning big money. They may be in the minority, but they exist. Secondly, in some cases being honest is profitable. You are getting more visitors to your site when there's talk that your info is always legit. Thirdly, even when being paid by a company, some journalists still may write unbiased articles. The problem is that you never know what kind of reporter wrote the article you are reading. Here on this forum you can read the reaction of other members and make your own conclusions, while in other places comments can be moderated without you knowing it.

Only when your investment is on btc or eth you can have some peace of mind and rest assured that once market fully recovered there is a high possibility you will regain your investment and profit, despite knowing this, some new investor are still afraid of the market dip and quickly sell their coins, most of them don't really understand how the market works, they usually don't equipped themselves with the basic information before investing, they are mainly concerned about profit and fail to learn the important part.

It may look like it's easy to make big profits on some altcoins, and many people fall for that, and then after getting burned they are afraid of investing in BTC too. I'm not trying to say that everyone should invest in BTC right away and that their profit is guaranteed. I'm just saying that it is more likely that you will not lose most part of your investment if you invest in an established project like BTC than in something that most likely is successful only for a short time, however promising it may seem.

This might be something that people have brought over from the times when people still played with tokens in brick-and-Mortar casinos ..back in the day. We walked around the casino ..watching other people play..and once the machine has been filled with tokens and the person leave.. you take over and play.. until it has to pay out. (that was the believe)  Roll Eyes
I don't understand why anyone would be gullible enough to believe such stuff since it's pretty obvious that these machines(Online and Offline) don't depend on the overall bankroll and focus on other factors like the house edge etc.

Some of the posters above just got lucky with their slot wins, but this obviously doesn't imply that everyone else can get lucky too in a similar manner.

As well as it doesn't imply that after many wins on a particular slot it could somehow "run out of prizes" and winning something good in the near future would be impossible. Smiley Normally, by the law the RTP must be the same as declared by slot provider, but it doesn't mean they have to return to players, say, 97% of the wagered money every hour, or, every day. It must be so for millions and millions of bets, so what happened within several thousands doesn't matter so much in regards to potential payouts.

Getting merit just because an artwork is incredibly done is not an issue. In fact, they deserved to be recognized and praised by others who were blown away by their work, especially for an artwork that required the integration of a brand and a roobet mascot. It's no problem
Exactly the artist who has put in efforts for that artwork only needs appreciation for them and it could be any format like merit or simply by saying it in words. The next big thing come if they win the competition then it's immense joy for them.So we need to appreciate the good works in any manner we like.

Is about security reason.

Because you want to change "Email/Telp" to make sure you are the original person who owns the email/number. What happen, If you email got hacked but there has some security withdrawal with a number and they can process just by using the email.

You can lost the asset, any change about the information should by KYC. Is already basic process, even on some exchange can do that or could be the worst you can't change any email/number.

You know, I think you are right. In the future we won't be able to get around KYC anyway, so why don't start using it now? I did it several times already and only once it was really time-consuming and painstaking process, so overall I think it's doable. At first I thought we could suggest FortuneJack a better way of solving the "lost phone" problem, but then I realized that they surely have a great team of specialists that very likely can solve it the best way possible.

Now, I know that Ngannou looks a bit underdogish for this fight, but I bet on him because, firstly, I like to bet on the underdog, you get high multipliers, and, secondly, in my personal opinion, Ngannou's chance of winning is above 50%.
From an outcome perspective, I'd say Gane has a chance of submission, and points with a outside chance of knocking him out. While Ngannou has a chance of knockout, potentially a very slim chance of a submission. So, I'd say that purely from a outcome perspective Gane has the better probability because of his tools at his disposal. However, we know the power of Ngannou, but we also know the movement of Gane.

This is probably one of the hardest to call fights in the heavyweight division for some time. Completely opposite fighters, but you can never really rule out a power hitting such as Ngannou.

Gane is a great fighter, but imo he underestimated Ngannou a bit(as many bettors did too). During the fight Gane was performing some very risky moves as if Ngannou had no clue how to respond. I think half of those hits and kicks would be enough to defeat almost anyone, it's just Ngannou is no your average fighter. He was prepared. His responses were amazing. And he won via unanimous decision.

I bet a significant amount on Ngannou, and the odds were pretty good

I'm glad he won. Smiley

~snip~ However, since we are talking high volatility phase of Bitcoin these days, BTC can easily end up below $35k or above $45k, right?
I'm considering these 2 ranges to bet on(I mean, both of them): ~
Just look at the multipliers! And yet, who will say that it's impossible? Smiley
Bitcoin price showing high volatility, but it is staying between a specific range. It isn't impossible to see the price above $60k, but the chance is really low if you observe it by the volatility range. The outcome odds are really attractive on those higher price range. I have a strong believe that Bitcoin price will stay between 35k to 50k at the end of this month. So, placing bet on those 3 ranges could be profitable.

And look what's happened now. "$30,001 - $35,000" range doesn't look that unrealistic anymore, but the multiplier for it is 5.50x. I wouldn't discount "$25,001 - $30,000" either. In fact, I think it is very likely to see BTC at $28k-$29k by the end of this month, and the multiplier is 17.55 for this range. Unfortunately I forgot to make my bets this time, probably was just an hour late, but if I remembered on time I'd bet on the "$25,001 - $30,000" range.
