3581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: April 18, 2016, 03:15:43 PM
There will be no limit on how much you can earn when it comes to gambling as long as you have the money to bet you have endless opportunity to earn.

Yeah you right. You can earn unlimited money with gambling but the problem is, can you do that ? Because you need big bankroll for gambling and big LUCK for that.

actually you are both wrong.
there is always a limit on how much you can earn, all the casinos have some kind of limit on how much you can place down as a bet for example in dice with a big multiplier you can not win a lot of bitcoin because there is a limit, check out the casino's FAQ page for the limit.
3582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: April 18, 2016, 03:11:55 PM
Many people here wants to do gambling even if they rich, instead of gambling, why don't you donate it on some charities?
Because for some people, charities is not fun at all. Thats why people prefer to spend their money that could give them any feedback, like get fun in gambling or profit in investment.

some of them don't care about these things, they don't care about all the charitable work they can do with their money and even if they do it someday it would only be for publicity reasons not the real deal.
3583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How long do you play per day gambling like Dice ? on: April 18, 2016, 03:07:07 PM
I'm curious to people who can gambling 1 hours+ on dice sites. How can you manage to get profit on dice sites, because i always busted on dice sites. But in sportsbook i can play long time and can get profit.
it is because in the chest you to use all your good fortune to benefit sportbetting different you need a bit of skill to see the statistics of the team that will be playing. it is very important in choosing a bet calculations will certainly vey affect the results. so you can play long enough there. unlike the dice

the good thing about sports betting is that you can always gather some kind of information about any kind of game that you want to bet on.
just take a look at this section, it is filled with all kinds of tipping services, granted not all of them are good but there is still a lot of information to gather.
3584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LISK price speculation on: April 18, 2016, 03:00:04 PM
ICO BTC participants will wait for dumping coins of ICO Crypti participants and signature campaign reward recievers (these can take profit at any price).

that is the risk with all the ICO coins and all those coins that give away some amounts before the launch to random people.
but when the project is good like LISK a lot of the early investors will not sell at low prices and will wait for a very high price to start selling.
3585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your current crypto portfolio? on: April 18, 2016, 02:55:15 PM
Hey everyone, what do your investments look like right now?

Personally, I'm holding GameCredits long term, as well as a bit of NXT. I've got some deposit money tied up in the ICOs for Waves and Elastic. I'm also trading a few altcoins over at yobit: CREVA, POST, VIP, and 007. I have some Billary as well and I'm also mining it. Of course, the majority of my crypto portfolio is still in Bitcoin. What are you guys holding on to?

my main investment in crypto currency markets has always been majority on bitcoin and less on altcoins.
i have never invested in any ico, ipo until now but i am looking for a good one to invest in but could not yet find.
as for coins i had ETH which i sold and not looking back now, because i am happy with the profit.
for next looking at lisk
3586  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcointalk is a good way to get information about Bitcoins? on: April 18, 2016, 02:50:41 PM

3587  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you ever lost Bitcoin? on: April 18, 2016, 02:48:03 PM
i have never lost bitcoin because of scams, hacks or anything like that, thankfully!
but i have lost some small amounts here and there in gambling which is my fault.
and also i have lost some in trading altcoins.
3588  Economy / Speculation / Re: 400$ was the top on: April 16, 2016, 03:19:07 PM
$400 will be not the top, the value will be higher soon and that would be good for the most people who are waiting for a price increase but it can takes also a long time.
You must also know that the halving will come and that can be good for the value of Bitcoin.

this topic is old, so if you check the date it has started you will see that $400 was kind of the top by that time and went down and back up above $400 once after that.
but at this time, no it is not the top it is the bottom and we are already headed to another top probably $500
3589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Bitcoin? on: April 16, 2016, 03:11:00 PM
I've made quite some posts and read even more threads. Which made me think about the combination of Bitcoin and Gambling.

Is it ok to gamble with bitcoin? Last year we've seen a lot of scams and 'hacks'. Fact is that most of them are either made up by the devs or done by scammers whom use bitcoin's anonimity.

Pro
Let's be honest, Gambling is fun, but Bitcoin it is also very easy?

Con
Look at some dice sites, cloud mining sites that ust dissapeared with consumers money.

Since it is about money I am interested in your opintion, Is the combination of gambling and Bitcoin good?

there are a lot more Pros than what you write here, bitcoin makes it easier to gamble, you don't need your bank and country rules to interfere with your gambling because it is anonymous.
also there is a lot of different games you can play all online with bitcoin which give a lot of variety to choose from.

and you con is not exactly a con because you can always check their reputation and then invest bitcoin and withdraw after playing.
3590  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: invest in my gambling on: April 16, 2016, 03:06:48 PM
I am a professional gambler.  Invest and I will gamble for you at low stakes pot limit omaha cash game.  I have previously gambled for other people and won money on their behalf.  References available upon request.
Gambling for me is fun. I would like to gamble myself because any professional gambler cant deny the fact that its 100% luck based and anyone and everyone can loose and in fact will loose one day or other.

i am also the same way, i want to experience the fun and excitement of gambling. i don't want to give my money to someone else to take this experience away from me.
besides if i were looking for profit i would have chosen a lot of other things instead of gambling and its high risks.
3591  Economy / Gambling / Re: 0.05% House Edge - BOOSTDiCE - Moneypot Casino on: April 16, 2016, 03:03:15 PM
why use a free .xyz domain and not a decent domain name like a .com

it is not that expensive to buy, besides it would make your dice site look better and people feel better clicking on .com instead of .xyz
3592  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: April 16, 2016, 03:00:38 PM
I trade with several alt coins now, I don't have strategy for that, I'm still in some learning faze. There is a lot of coins out there, for me its interesting to buy and sell in moments I feel like I'm somewhere on wall street. Of course I trade with small amounts, I don't have knowledge for bigger investments. In this case even if I lose something I don't feel bad about it or nervous.
For now basically I see price changes and volumes in last couple weeks, then I come here check some comments about specific coin and then I buy it if I think price will rise.

Is it possible to predict when the price of altcoins will rise?

well, yes and no.

you don't predict you just can speculate about the price and it is not an easy task either. you have to have a lot of experience in the matter and follow the coins to find the low price and buy then and after that sell at a high price for profit. but it can be done
3593  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to buy bitcoins by paypal? on: April 16, 2016, 02:49:12 PM
sure is possible but you must be very trusted user, you can easy buy from localbitcoins, soo many users accept paypal, but you need to get reputation first

nobody is working with paypal these days, especially when it comes to trading bitcoin and the person you are trading with is new and you don't know him.

this is mostly because Paypal doesn't care if you charge-back a bitcoin purchase because the other person can not prove anything.
3594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: >>> Coin of the Decade <<< on: April 16, 2016, 02:46:20 PM
Dogecoin.  Very nice community,  and the coin actually gets used.  Relative to other altcoins I mean.  Don't kill me.

my vote goes to Dogecoin too.
all of the altcoins are bad some of them are worst than others but among all these pump and dumps and scams i at least enjoy Dogecoin community. and the fact that it is a fast coin and cheap transactions and has not yet dies after this long proves it is awesome.
3595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reputation-based Decentralized eBay Dapp available at the Dapp Store on: April 16, 2016, 02:36:56 PM
i like LISK but i am just wondering about what makes us want to use this instead of using a big project like OpenBazaar?
3596  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin dropped to $1, what you do? on: April 16, 2016, 02:26:59 PM
i can only see the day price falls to $1 in my dreams at night.
and even then in my dreams i will be rushing to transfer all my fiat to my exchanger in order to buy bitcoin with all of it!
3597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has died 99 times on: April 16, 2016, 02:20:16 PM
I read from another post that bitcoin died 88 times. What is up with bitcoin dying so much. What does bitcoin dying mean, It all seems a little to dramatic after all.

Many people have told everyone in the bitcoin world that it is dying when they see a price dip... Some of it are dramatically being escalate so it could create a panic in those who hold their coins and sell it and that would make the price drop lower than it was..But that's not effective for all..
Mainly altcoin users and those who want to see bitcoiners dumping their cins spread FUD and people believe them many a times when the price keeps dropping. Just few months back when the price dropped to $220, people claimed it will drop to $100 and people were seen dumping/selling their coins. That has a bad effect on the currency.

i am interested to know how much successful they are!
because the bitcoin market has been growing so much in the past years so it is not small enough to manipulate it with FUD and if newbies panic sell then there won't be much change in price anyways because they are usually small time.
3598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LISK is taking over ETH or just another hype scam coin? on: April 14, 2016, 10:34:23 AM
LISK and ETH are both scam in my book but will see how long will it overlapped each other, it is going to be fun to watch.

i wouldn't go as far as calling these two big altcoins scam but they have been both involved in pumps and a lot of hype especially ethereum which is almost all hype and no real value.
that is why i think LISK is going to be the next big altcoin that will become the number two marketcap as soon as the release on legit exchangers.
3599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Good alt or stay away? on: April 14, 2016, 10:31:18 AM
ethereum is a good alt but i will stay away for now.

it is good because it has a lot of hype and as a trader i like the big swings and the hype which changes the price but i will stay away for the time being because it is dumping time and the price is taking a hit and i don't wanna lose.
3600  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 0.3 btc in a week on: April 14, 2016, 10:27:23 AM
Maybe it's something that can be done with a lot of faucets, but it seems like it would take a long time.

You're joking right? earning .3 btc from faucet alone is impossible, the captcha will drive you crazy lol.

you need a bot, it was possible in the past, there was one guy doing 0.07 a day with faucet, but it does not lasted, he dried up all of them easily

Running a bot and earning 0.07bitcoin is not at all profitable. There will be at least a 0.02bitcoin needed for compensate the running expenses of bots. The remaining is a very low earning for a complete day.

And you must pay for the bot creator for this which cost I think around 0.04btc above. And if the faucet depleted goodluck again in finding one. Also some of the faucets has anti bot measures iirc.

that is right (not sure about the price though) but you have to pay for the bot and then either pay for your electricity and run in on your pc or pay for hosting and vps to run it online and only earn a very small amounts.
and don't forget that all these bots have a lot of faults. they are not 100% working.
