3581  Economy / Economics / Re: Food prices doubled this year on: September 16, 2020, 08:55:27 PM
In mine fuel price has increased very much, and fuel pricing in my country is the beckon or focal point for other commodities/goods and services pricing, this is like, the fuel price is directly proportional to other commodities/service pricing,
This effect is not due to the corona virus pandemic, but corrupt government are using the corona virus as an excuse for economic depression.

food is at an average price right now in my country, thanks to local farmers the only food increase are those imported into the country because government don't support local agriculture and don't harness it's powers to make food even cheaper,
Harnessing local produce make the difference.

buying local products helps the local economy. unfortunately local products in my country is much pricey than the imported. asians are more of rice but the local rice in my country is  not really bought by the locals, its the imported rice from Vietnam and Indonesia are the ones very much cheaper.

this is one of the most interesting in our country because the rich guys controls almost every thing from law makers to businesses. if they say they can import products, they will massively do it leaving local farmers begging for support. but the businessmen are buying these local rice for cheaper price.

international rice institute in asia is found in our country by the way. interesting fact.  Grin
3582  Economy / Reputation / Re: I'd love to respond to Bitcoin SV's nonsense, but.... on: September 16, 2020, 06:33:28 PM

he's wiling to give up everything though. he said they will not claim Wright to be the real satoshi anymore unless you all guys won't consider them troll  Grin

he really should start providing video of Wright's interview claiming to give up that claim. i like to see this. don't you want to?
it really will give satisfaction. but then suggesting this to his thread might just be useless if he deletes it.
3583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Police Raids and kids involving spider betting. on: September 15, 2020, 05:58:31 PM

the spiders sleep while infront of another spider? looks like weaklings. as filipino we're used to these spiders because there are times in a year when its time for crop harvesting, kids are playing these spiders as they crawl out from the pile of crops. there weren't betting involve during those days but its fight to death that spiders wrap the other with its web to consume.  today they have rules already that its a KO-ed when spider dropped 3 time on the pillow. that isn't fun to watch.

For someone who was born and raised in the Philippines, I am very much familiar with this game featuring these small creatures, spiders. This was merely a game, children would first catch their spiders and would then bring them into a fight with the others.
But for others like me who was not raised in rural areas, spiders are being sold in cities on which most of people gets into the gambling. Yet we cannot make it as an excuse, just because we get used to it. I remember not only spiders but also beetles, people are making fights using insects and they are betting on it.

Somehow this is funny to think that what was once a street game for the children is now being integrated with gambling. But nevertheless, these adults shown in the pictures should’ve known better that protocols must be abide strictly due to this pandemic.
Adult already knows that it is illegal, maybe they are just too bored of living and made this as a form of their entertainment.

its pure entertainment really but adults wanna make money out of it much like cockfighting.

3584  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why are most stablecoins on the eth network? on: September 14, 2020, 10:35:51 PM
For example setting up an EOS address is not as easy and user-friendly as an Ether address.

There are so many gambling dapps that were created on Tron and EOS but they haven't been a success because not so many people are familiar with the said blockchains and therefore their usage is also very low

The project developers could also be finding it easier deploying smart contracts on Ethereum Networks unlike other Blockchains

there are also stablecoins on TRON and EOS and there are tokens equates to DAI which i guess they can be audited for its value unlike the USDT.

but eth has the most of it. EOS addresses are actually much easy than TRON and ETH but then it isn't free. one has to pay for instance if you wanna create on tokenpocket you have to pay for at least 1 EOS. the hurdle i guess is to stake for CPU and NET.

3585  Economy / Gambling / Re: copie bets in dice sites on: September 14, 2020, 06:16:25 PM

dice is a luck game, you'd have to be so unlucky that you will copy someone else bet.
not sure if there is copy bet for dice but i have seen it on https://bethash.io/copy-player for lottery. where you can follow these players. i have not tried actually. i just knew bethash because i have been playing dice here with my EOS tokens but i'm not sure if anyone in there had been copy playing at all.

3586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Smart chain is not really good on: September 13, 2020, 08:00:16 PM

its where the market is going which is why everyone wants to take bit of the defi. whether binance is becoming a giant to centralize all, people will keep using them for its where we can easily make money.

but they can't do it until you get into their platform. stay outside and only use wallets that can be used to connect dex like tronlink or tokenpocket then you can be part of the ecosystem but outside their binance network.
3587  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [DeFi SCAM] XCredit.Finance - Fake team, cartoon images on: September 13, 2020, 07:48:30 PM

I believe there is a Indian scammer network that I started to crack on. I'm trying to connect multiple TG channels that are most likely owned and used by the same network.
I hope you will be able to detect that specific group of scammers who are continiously running scam projects one by one. I can remember that few month earlier someone add me on a trading signal group where they were actually referring people to join all new ICO channels. Actually they increase the number of group members first and use that for multiple purpose at the end.

Although i am not sure it was an indian channel or not but they gave too many greetings messages during indian festival.
Why are scammers too stupid now?
Its nothing new. This is the only similarity which you will find in every scam project. For us they are stupid but they are hiding their real identity through this type of activities. So, i don't think they care little bit about it how we are taking their fake team.

presenting cartoon team is still something they could get away than getting caught of using a fake one. but this plagiarized text nailed it.

they will still continue to do it until they can't persuade someone. to t he scammers who don't come in bitcointalk somehow they get to profit, this is why there is the need for some busting on facebook and social media sites to expose these guys. there were facebook sponsored ads i've seen just recently bragging about their prices on uniswap.
3588  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotalk Future on: September 12, 2020, 08:42:38 PM

they banned countries which basically mean all the users from a banned country are not able to join the campaign. it would have been improving if they didn't ban but only pick the ones they see can put good contents on the forum. screen the posters and to see who could do the job and share.

I wondered how long the talk token thing was going to last. I'm surprised they continued with it as long as they did. I'm also surprised they've decided to keep flogging their dead horse. This'll get an uptick, but it'll be an uptick of the same old shit. Nothing's going to change. I still don't understand their aims or purpose.

You will be surprise that they are getting a lot of new sign up almost every hour, I sign up there to check the inside of the forum, I have a hard time navigating the forum, I'm not familiar on their script, why the heck they are using a very poor script like invision when Vbulletin and SMF is the best choice for forum.
the forum's success lies on their token if this so called talk token did not take off it could be the end of their forum.

there is no data regarding this talk token. if this is a defi token, there would be more users claiming for TALK to the moon shills soon but hope them success. having another platform still is good for cryptocurrency.
3589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SushiSwap founder returns money and ask for forgiveness 😢 on: September 12, 2020, 08:31:01 PM
Even though the damage has been done I think they could still continue to work on it and make it better project in the future.
At least this founder knows how to return their investors money not just another hit and run project that would run away with all their investors money.

Although the damage has been done by the former CEO but am happy to see a potential exit scam project doing a good restructuring of it leadership. He portrayed good elements of trust in my opinion as he returned all the money stollen from investors back to them, this is strange in the world of cryptocurrency, though not justify his actions. The new project CEO has a good reputation which is enough to transform the project to it enviable position among it equals to stay at the top.

still going to be hard to earn the trust once again. even if he will return them all back, the disappointment of the users disgust to sushi project. i can't even eat my sushi tuna anymore lol it reminds me of the project every time i see a sushi on the table.

he realized too late that what he did was terrible. he could really make a lot more money than what he got right now if he just stick to the roadmap. now that CZ had tweeted about them scaming, its hard to take it out of our mind already.
3590  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you remember your first mobile phone? on: September 12, 2020, 07:56:58 PM
couldn't afford it. i was a student back 2002 and the only i got is for the 5110. i already felt very cool with it. the only that is being used is just texting and calling. when the phones with colored screen and the music tones, it quickly becomes obsolete. everyone wants to have a phone with camera.

the movie "money heist"  featured old nokia phone because the phones that doesn't connect the internet is harder to track. i quickly look for my old phone. can;t find it anymore.
3591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi - Tron Financial Ecosystem (September 2020) on: September 12, 2020, 07:42:20 PM
the AMA is disappointing since Justin just copypaste whats in the whitepaper. it should reallt be a good show if he did the AMA live with a crypto influencer so that there will be more questions clarified for the DEFI platform.

WIN and BTT staking will soon follow next week? this is what i have read in the telegram. i tried 10k TRX, i'm already mining. i hope to see spikes of prices but it dips below $20.
3592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SushiSwap founder returns money and ask for forgiveness 😢 on: September 11, 2020, 07:14:57 PM

sushi is like $2.70 are we good to dive into it right now then?  13% green right after his tweet.

this is the first of the kind that we are witnessing so he must want to project to proceed and on with the bullrun to happen. something must have made him change his mind not just jail time. maybe he realized he could get more than what he had right now if he waited for the next few more months after BTC hit ATH.
3593  Economy / Economics / Re: UK economy continues to rebound upwards - but yet to cross pre covid levels. on: September 11, 2020, 05:34:42 PM

is there any other option than continuing the job retention scheme?
since our governments are expecting the coming of the vaccine i don't see any reason as to why not extend everything while the covid19 is still devastating the public though the lockdowns. if they have to bailout small companies, meat farms and vegetable producers, why not. its necessary to have them running now and after the crisis. people in the first world countries are luckier than how we are in the 3rd world.
3594  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Eterbase Exchange Hacked, Don't Leave Your Funds on Any Exchange! on: September 11, 2020, 05:07:25 PM

this is an exit scam. the exchange is still unknown after months of promotion, they did a bounty campaign here but not everyone ever become their loyal follower. the exchange just say they got enough funds to do their obligations but its just words of course.

once there will be investors demanding their funds, they will hide for months til the issues fade and investors give up. nothing is new.
3595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DEFI begin new trending or end soon? on: September 11, 2020, 05:02:48 PM
nope defi will stil exist. they wouldn't be pursuing in developing the kind of project if its just going to die in the future but it will still evolve. the concept is just simulating the real world finance system i don't think this will end before 2021 ends. the project will still be here.

so while its here you got to do your best to get more money out of it. decide now before it goes to its ATH.
3596  Economy / Economics / Re: Can legalisation of Cannabis help US economy? on: September 09, 2020, 08:48:55 PM
ahhhh yyyeee!!! someone up there in the senate knows what everybody needs. ya all need to get high! theres no need for farms for marijuana, it can be reproduced indoors, there had been many plantation of marijuana indoors even in US actually.

market from canada and from the south will definitely keep US high all year.  maybe legalize the poppy plants as well while they are up there discussing about cannabis legalization.  its going to make money for sure, US may even import cannabis if there are countries out there also needs to get high.

3597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Potential DeFi Exit Scam on: September 09, 2020, 06:52:44 PM

ooh nooo its never a good habit to just hurry to invest all because its a defi project. this hype still is the same as ICO, you still need to investigate.  so many dex though so this sji111111111 could send it to any of it. chinese dex around or even the most popular like polonidex or the newdex  Wink

the only defi project that i think can be trusted in EOS is the Defibox and probably the Vigor.

3598  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bangko Sental ng Pilipinas on Crypto adoption on: September 09, 2020, 06:44:36 PM

3600  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: DEX : what features you want in it on: September 08, 2020, 10:34:58 PM
Faster and cheaper transactions, just the basic tenants of what should a DEX should be. And course we wanted to see more coins that we can trade, perhaps margin trading could be a good addition.

margin trading can be done already on defi exchange where they add sythetic assets. the ones you are seeing where there is iBTC and sBTC which is also paired with sUSD. i think the decentralize exchanges today are also going to be in that direction too which they may add their own for the derivatives trading. its becoming sophisticated so i hope they can thoroughly test everything before deploying their protocols.
