Someone from Bitcoin community recently started a project to increase number of Bitcoin full nodes. TEK community should not wait until "not enough full nodes" problem arises but prepare for it. Can you give an estimate on how much would it cost to have server setup so it just runs TEK wallet non-stop? A mere relaying full node which would accept up to 64 connections. |

It is incredible what sort of crap most people are backing up this days, "look, it's the fundraiser for some shitty game no one gonna play since there are not only millions of similar games but also dozens of better ones", "look, it's the clone of NXT where developers have no clue other than to copy and paste code - with delay - published by real developers" and so on, just pathetic. Or craps like Vericoin which were added without voting, where many will end up scammed big time via centralized but supposedly anonymous service for buying and mixing. Well put and could not agree more. Vericoin was also added to cryptsy without votes strange. Those bastards havnt added a vote coin in probably 6 weeks meanwhile they have added like 6-8 coins that were not on the voting list. Begs the question why the f are we voting then? Votes are there so naive get the impression exchanges care but they - of course - care only for their own profit. Like a month ago I spoke with one of Cryptsy staff on their chat and he openly admitted Datacoin won't be added at all (because of possible complications due to how Datacoin works) but there was and still is voting for that altcoin. |

As per your comment about investing ourselves to reach the 500 BTC goal, what point would that serve? I don't even see where we would benefit from that, the investors would benefit from that. If we reach the 500 BTC goal, 0% of the genesis block would go to the development team, and 85% would go to investors. There is no major benefit for the development team for reaching the 500 BTC mark other than the fact that we earn more funding for future development from the additional BTC earned, which really benefits the entire community.
