3581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is more important for crypto users? on: July 18, 2023, 04:55:55 PM
Earning money through a job or business is very hard. But gambling is very easy and there is no physical effort required so people are very interested to earn easy money. And it is possible to win huge jackpot from gambling but not possible to earn huge in less time through job. so gambling is very popular among greedy people. Using crypto is risky but also very profitable.  But cryptocurrency is not as risky as gambling.  Gambling can take a person's balance from millions of dollars to 0 but crypto does not.

Cryptocurrency investment can also take your balance from millions of dollars to zero if you're not careful and mindful of what you're investing in. if you're investing in only memecoins because they are been hyped, you'll be disappointed when they all lose their high prices

Cryptocurrency investment can be considered gambling as well when investors are throwing money around putting it in any NFT they see becoming popular or tokens been pumped, cryptocurency user just love gambling with their coins as we're getting more crypto casinos.

They do this because coins aren't been used for other things as you can hardly use any other coins that isn't bitcoin for payment, and investors are left to gamble with the coins since that's the only utility that the coins has at the moment and people already enjoy gambling.
3582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling everywhere on: July 18, 2023, 04:28:51 PM
Gambling gambling gambling everywhere there are gamblers everywere either online or shops and some gamblers are not happy to be one because they are addicted to it, now come to the present day question, how do you feel after making a stake? People on these forum mostly gambling board, lot of people here do say we should use spare money to make a bet (stake) but we all know that there is nothing like a spare money if people save money for future use I don't think a well thinking person will also save money for gambling, I think everybody who gambled sometimes does not know when they are in a gambling shops, just imagine you're about to check your past bets and you find your self about to stake another, please don't see it the other way round.
So if you use our saved money to stake a bet, what really comes next to your mind? I will like us to talk about this.

We have people that save money for gambling and for other activities that bring entertainment to their life like going for concerts and vocation etc. If you aren't saving for things that you want to do you should start now because it's very helpful as you to stay on budget.

You can save for gambling just as you saved for other things, when you save for gambling, you won't touch the money meant for other things and it prevents you from over gambling and exceeding your budget limit. The advise to use spare money isn't a joke so listen to it.

Gambling is a very profitable business for the owners that's why we have many gambling sites online and casinos as well. People needs things to take their mind of reality and gambling can do that as it present the possible of winning big money which everyone dreams of.
3583  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Going to Bitcoin events on: July 18, 2023, 04:08:20 PM
Going to bitcoin, crypto, blockchain events benefits us in anyway ?
I am something biased at this because of internet sayings, biased in positive side that they are very benefiting and worth my time, share your experiences about going to events is good or bad ,
are you gone to any bitcoin events ? and, in which way it helped you, do you learned new things that is very difficult to learn on internet, do you met amazing people, do going to that events worth your time and money.

I haven't gone to any Bitcoin event but that's because I haven't gotten the opportunity to attend one, all the ones I see online are always far from my country. I have attended online events and they were beneficial which means the physical events will be more beneficial.

This events helps us to meet people with similar belief that one day Bitcoin will be acceptable globally and become world currency. It also gives is more hope of holding as you know others are doing the same. You can exchange contact from this events to build friendship.

You can also meet investors that'll invest in your idea that has something to do with Bitcoin blockchain like decentralized wallets etc or get to know about what others are interested in. Social gathering are always beneficial to all those that attend, you get to know things to avoid.
3584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Intriguing article: How to Perfect Your Gambling Strategy on: July 18, 2023, 03:54:18 PM
Now imagine someone who is gambling but doesn't believe in strategies, he might face a lot of losses and might get a lot of wins as well, but at the end of the session, he might be at a loss but he won't be out of money but his bankroll will still have some balance because he didn't use any strategy.

Gambling can be down without strategy and the gambler will be victorious, gambling is all about been lucky. If you're not a lucky person you can't win much. You can use a strategy and it still doesn't work for you or give you as much profits as it's giving others using the strategy.

Don't depend on strategy when gambling but you have to use some guidelines that would make you not to go bankrupt instead this guidelines will always keep money in your account to continue gambling. There's no strategy that can give everyone that use it success.

Unless you're referring to sport betting, which doesn't entirely has to do with luck as if you have the right strategy you can bet on multiple games and be profitable. I have seen strategy like betting on both teams to score and you can used that during a weekend games and win
3585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: July 18, 2023, 03:41:27 PM
Easy maybe for those who are doing it just pure for fun and killing some time, but difficult/tough for those who already engage and believing that they can change a lifestyle if luck will back them up and win decently.

For those doing it for fun or entertainment they mightn't find it easy to quit as well because when they get addicted they will have similar behavior like those playing for money. They won't want to quit even when they're not making profits. Addiction is very hard behavior to quit.

The only time a gambler can quit gambling is when he isn't addicted, it doesn't matter if he's playing for the money or for entertainment, provided he isn't addicted, he can stop gambling at anytime. There are some things anybody wanting to quit gambling needs to know.

Since gambling was taking up most of their time, they need a new activity that'll replace gambling. If they find that hobby or activity, then they won't have free time to reconsider going back to gambling. The activity has to be as productive and demanding as gambling was.
3586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are successful gamblers seen as addicts? on: July 17, 2023, 10:43:11 PM
A successful gambler don't think of chasing his wins instead he gambles for fun and before you know it he will hit the jackpot unexpectedly. I don't want to go beyond my gambling limit so that I don't fall into addiction. When you take the games easy and play with free mind before you know it,you will win.

Losing can lead to gambling addiction so does winning can also do, when a gambler keeps winning he might begin to think that he's invincible and continue to play on several occasions. Overall he'll be winning but he doesn't know he's getting addicted to gambling slowly.

When he does realize that will be when he finally lost, instead of backing out, he'll keep playing thinking that was just a one time thing until the losses keep happening and then he becomes obsessed with trying to win back him money since he isn't used to feeling like a loser.

That's how addicts are borned, it doesn't matter if you're winning or losing, always make sure you're in control of the decision you make when gambling and it isn't your feelings making the decision for you or you might end up with nothing instead of going how with the wins.
3587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: July 17, 2023, 10:34:26 PM
Changing the mindset will help us not to become addicts because with the aim of making money at gambling will make us not enjoy the game and only focus on winning and eventually losing after that we will continue to force ourselves to gamble willingly to sell whatever we have to continue gambling to unconsciously become poor because of gambling. self-control before gambling is important and responsible

Have you considered the fact that with money on the line to be made it can also make the game more fun and entertaining. I can't imagine playing poker without money been risked. It becomes more entertaining as you are playing under the pressure of losing or wining money.

While gambling makes the game more entertaining for some people, that doesn't mean we should go overboard by selling our belongings just because want to raise capital that'll be used in gambling, anybody doing that isn't practicing safety precaution to avoid addictions.

The moment any gambler begins selling his belongings that means he isn't gambling responsibly and that can be very dangerous to both their mental health and finances because you become addicted and will do anything possible to get cash to keep playing which is wrong.
3588  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will you sell...next bull run? on: July 17, 2023, 10:13:18 PM
Everyone has their own view about manage bitcoin holding. Some people Don't care about bull or bear run, just prefer trade to increase bitcoin. Some people hold bitcoin for bullrun and some will hold until need money. For me, i some bitcoin that i brought probably many months ago and i'm already in some profit. I think I'll sell it during next bull run and then buy back during bear run and then such thing will continue lol as you said, It'll always pump durning time. But I'll always keep some amount in my wallet for bitcoin lover. And ive separated separate amount for trade. So that's it

Most people will be doing as you said, they'll sell during the bull market and that's why the price of Bitcoin keeps dumping after the peak of the market has been reached because investors keep selling to avoid losing the profits they have made during the bull market which is fine.

Everyone has the right to determine how they handle their Bitcoin, only those who are new to the market will think that the market will keep pumping after it reaches the peak of the bull market. When you sell during bull market, you give yourself the opportunity to buy cheaper.

I don't have a specific price I'll be selling at because I don't know the price that could be the highest peak of the bull market but it'll have to be above the previous all time high as I believe the price for next bull market will be higher than the peak of last bull market as always.
3589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Are Not Nerdy Enough on: July 17, 2023, 09:58:55 PM
However, the average guy on the street that I speak to, and even many people on crypto forums still don't understand Bitcoin's potential as a virtual commodity, or it's potential to create an alternative to Fiat economies. Maybe the problem is deeper than just a lack of understanding about the technology? Maybe it's a lack of understanding about economics as a whole? How many people are economists?

You can't change how others what to view Bitcoin, it's their personal decision and considering they're not wrong with how they view Bitcoin, we should let them be. Bitcoin can be seen as a currency and also as an investment opportunity because of the instability of the price.

It's not about lack of underinsured but also because there isn't much opportunity for Bitcoin to be used as a cureencyas it isn't been accepted globally yet and doe some countries it's illegal for Bitcoin to be used and it been as investment is the only option left for them.

The average guys see an opportunity for him to make money, why do you then except him to start spending bitcoin when he can invest into it, hold his investment and in few years he has more money than he would had made if he invested in other investment not Bitcoin.
3590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Casinos Go Bankrupt Because of Player Wins? on: July 17, 2023, 09:38:44 PM
This is a business and when talking about business there will be bankruptcy but for gambling cases where they go bankrupt for the reason that they lose to players I think it seems unlikely because there is nothing like that even for new casinos.

Casino and other sportsbook make so much many that it'll be hard for them to go bankrupt, when some of them declare bankruptcy it isn't because they're losing to players but for other reasons that might do with the owners like in the case of Donald trump's going bankrupt.

The only time I think a player can make a casino to go bankrupt is when the casino was already in a financial difficult situation and then there comes a big win from a player that the casino can't afford to cover the bills but that's a very unlikely scenario we're taking about here.

Most casino has reservations of funds that they can use to bail their way of of a difficult situation that involves them not been able to pay customers profits. They can also borrow money to handle these situation since they can get access to loans from the banks easily.
3591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you cheat in gambling? on: July 17, 2023, 09:29:48 PM
Cheating on anything can never be fine.  It is a matter of morality.  Just put yourself in other shoes.  Are you happy being cheated?  Obviously, you will not and probably will take your revenge on the person who cheated on you.  In gambling history, cheating is one of the major reasons for bloodbaths among gamblers.

Cheating always comes with many regrets because if you were to cheat a traditional casino where you go to play your bet, you might end up getting arrested and that'll be very bad for your reputation among your fellow gamblers and your resident if the news spreads.

You have an opportunity to make clean money when you place your bets so you shouldn't spoil that because of some advantages you got offered like fixed games. It makes you a dishonest person. Others have won gambling without cheating, why can't you do the same.

If there's an issue on the machines, go and report to the management and even when you don't get compensated for reporting the faculty machine to them, you don't get angry because you shouldn't do good and expect to be rewarded for it that's not doing good anymore.
3592  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I buy now or I should still wait for the dip? on: July 17, 2023, 09:09:43 PM
To What Extent Bitcoin Price Will go for the Bear Market
Bitcoin start the year 2023 with a good price and the price in in this year is much more better than last year 2022 and those who invested last year 2023 would not say that this year do does not favour them. And we have spent 7 month in this year and the price of bitcoin right now is $30,277 that is, the price is sliding down compare to last week. So where do you think the price of bitcoin will end for the bear market before this year will end?

Nobody knows if the price of Bitcoin will fall again, we can only assumed based on how the market has been moving lately but that shouldn't stop you from investing in Bitcoin. If you're waiting for the market to dip again it might never happen and you'll miss out.

Instead of waiting why not buy Bitcoin now, what's the worst that can happen to the price of Bitcoin when we're very close to halving the prices will bounce back up if the market was to dip again. If you keep waiting you'll keep procrastinating and possibly miss out on buying.

People refused to buy Bitcoin when Bitcoin was trading below $20,000 and now the price is above $30,000. Many people also refused to buy when the price was below $30,000 and will also procrastinate if the price of Bitcoin was to fall below $30,000 again, don't belike them.
3593  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: July 17, 2023, 08:57:53 PM
They should be prepared to be disappointed if they consider gambling a source of income because that is not the scenario. Gambling is only for entertainment and pleasure, so people do not need to take gambling seriously, where they will bet large amounts of money. Meanwhile, they don't know when they can make money but instead get a lot of losses. They should think of their victory as a bonus for good luck coming their way at the right time, but they can't expect luck to come more often.

Gambling can also be a source of income, it all depends on the person that's gambling, if you can discipline yourself like the professional, you can make a living by gambling. We have those that their lifes depends on gambling and they're doing just fine as a normal people.

It mightn't be only gambling they considered to be the source of their income as they might have other side hustle they used to assist the money coming from gambling but gambling takes a very large percentage when you consider the money that comes in to their account.

Gambling can be for entertainment and pleasure no doubts but you can also use gambling to pay your bills, we have those that are relying on gambling so it doesn't sound impossible to accomplish but very hard as you'll have to be very lucky to always win and avoid addiction.
3594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How was your first experience with gambling? on: July 16, 2023, 07:43:33 PM
The reason why they can't stop is because they've already become addicted and the thought that they will win something now if they play again, they keep doing that until they lose everything they have, that is how someone ends up becoming a gambling addict and then never manage to get out of it.

The most reason people get addicted when gambling is because they lack discipline that makes them to have poor money management habits. They go after losses and this make them to keep gambling pass their limits and when they realized they have already spent a lot.

When you're discipline and plan all you moves from the time you'll spend gamblers to your budgets, you won't be addicted. Most gamblers started gambling because they saw someone winning and they decide they can try gambling and they'll also win but that didn't happen.

Don't begin to gamble because you saw others doing it, before you begin gambling make sure it's something you want to do and you have understood the risk that comes with gambling. There's chances of you never winning and if that happens you have to stop before you lose everything.
3595  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin will accepted worldwide for legal then price rising $100k?? on: July 16, 2023, 07:33:02 PM
The halving is just around the corner, less than a year remaining and we are going to end up seeing that happen for sure. When that halving happens, watch how the price goes, after the halving it will start to go up and up and up for a long time and after a year of halving, we are going to see price hitting 100k and even more for sure.

This is my opinion as well, we don't need the legalization of Bitcoin for we to be able to trade at $100,000, Bitcoin doesn't also need to be accepted worldwide for we to be trading at $100,000. We can trade at this price during this bull market happening after halving of Bitcoin.

When Bitcoin gets accepted worldwide we'll be trading at a more higher price than $100,000 because more people will be introduce to the cryptocurency market and they'll want to buy Bitcoin. We'll also be having future halving of Bitcoin reward that'll keep bringing in investors.

Bitcoin been accepted worldwide will be a challenge for Bitcoin because many countries won't give up their fiat currency that they can control whenever they want to accept Bitcoin that they have zero control over the price and the price can be manipulates by whales.
3596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: July 16, 2023, 07:11:01 PM
What online gambling does is that it makes people lazy once they get addicted to it, people start thinking that they don't need to do any job and they can make some money each week from gambling by sitting in the comfort of their homes without any stress of any job or earning at all, these are the kind of people who can barely make their lives better in the future and are mostly dependent on others to feed them and their family out of misery.

You're correct, I noticed something about the new set of gambling addicts that use only online casinos, they are always lazy because they don't need to leave their house to gamble. They're not clean as well, they spend most of their time on casino or sportsbook gambling.

When you win your first sets of bets and start becoming comfortable gambling that you begin to feel you don't need other sources of income, you're planning to fail as gambling can't be your only source of income when you're not a professional gambler, you'll fail.

Online casino are more addictive to traditional casinos and when you become addictive, you'll be gambling uncontrollably and run out of cash soon. To make online casino as your only source of income, you'll need to be disciplined but since you're addicted that'll be difficult.
3597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My story about bitcoin and my old friend. on: July 16, 2023, 06:56:34 PM
Do you have the same story, I mean a close person, relative or friend who used to dislike bitcoin, and they became regretful after seeing a significant change after meeting again.

We all have one or two stories like this because we want the best for our closed ones but when we try to introduce them to Bitcoin, they'll be filled with disbelief because they're stuck in the white collar jobs and don't believe anything that doesn't involved manual working.

My love ones don't like investments discussion because of the ugly experience they had as a family trying to do some investment together but  discovered that it was scam companies that didn't have any things they did but just go around promising inventors profits.

Good thing Bitcoin doesn't disappoint and anybody that hasn't invested when they were told about Bitcoin always regrets it in the future. My friend was lucky to get back his senses and invested and he's expecting  to benefit when the next bull market comes after halving.
3598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling effects on LGBTQ+ People on: July 16, 2023, 06:33:44 PM
Recently research was held by Dr Reece Bush-Evans who told that online gambling could Hide the sexuality of the LGBTQ+ people and most of these people prefer online gambling as compared to physical gambling for obvious reasons.

The more important concern for the LGBTQ+ people is that they are being treated differently in a casino which may come under harassment. Also, the study says that people at the casino, the staff plus the public have shown discriminatory behavior towards these people.

Online casino has benefit's to many people and the LGBTQ community are just examples of people they provide protection to, they also protect women that might love gambling but can't do that because of how the society will be looking at them like irresponsible mothers.

Online casino also protect religion worshipers that would had loved to have some fun gambling like every other person but due to their religion it'll be an abomination if they're seen at the casino. Muslim brothers are one of this people but everyone should have freedom.

LGBTQ members are already been discriminated and it isn't just about gambling as people find them odd. Their discrimination isn't about the act that they're gambling but how people see them therefore it's nice they won't have to experience that with online casinos.
3599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This is not Practical on: July 16, 2023, 06:20:25 PM
I have heard the advice that you should only use money you can afford to lose for gambling. I say that this is more theoretical than practical. Literally no one has money that they can afford to lose. I feel that money for gambling is a matter of opportunity cost. You either use the money for gambling or use it to meet a need. If using money one can afford to lose were practical there will be no need for articles on having a gambling budget or bank roll management. Hey gamblers my question is to you now is, the money you currently plan to use for gambling is it money that you can afford to lose?

A more appropriate word to use is "spare money" for gambling, they're the same thing but when you use spare money it means they're money you have kept aside that isn't needed for anything important. You're not willing to throw away that money but if it happens, so be it.

Gambling money shoudn't be much so you can always keep aside few dollars that'll be use for gambling. This could be money you reserved for going out to have a drink with the boys. You can try to double that money with playing bets and if it happens you're lucky as you have more spare.

I always try to stay on budget when I gamble, I don't use money that wasn't intended to be used so yes I'm using my spare money but I won't say I'm willing to throw that money alway but if as a result of trying to gamble to receive more money I lose this one I won't be mad.
3600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin leave to be decentralized on: July 16, 2023, 06:03:39 PM
From my theory of understanding bitcoin as a cryptocurrency I have view bitcoin in different ways and i understand that Bitcoin what kept Bitcoin valuable is because it's a decentralized currency, for instant assuming bitcoin was centralized the domain of the technology would have be affected or tempered. But I'm seeing that the Force of Bitcoin today to stand is because is a decentralized currency.

Bitcoin can't become centralized or controlled and that's one of the strength of Bitcoin that's making it a big threat to the current financial system we have been operated by the government and the banking sector. What keep Bitcoin valuable is because it has a community.

Without the community of believers backing Bitcoin it would had died from the attacks and negative press it has been receiving for a very long time but Bitcoin holders believe in it and always bought whenever the price dips. We have other decentralized currency that failed.

Bitcoin isn't only valuable because it's decentralized but also because the supply of Bitcoin is limited and the block rewards is also halved every four years and this create scarcity of the Bitcoin in the market and causes fomo as investors fears to miss out on future gains.
