Odds will be there three or two days before the fight, usual for fights between not-so-popular boxers and they are fighting for the 115lbs division which is not so popular to most of American fight fans (just my observation). This is getting exciting and personally, I would be betting for Ancajas to win by decision as he will be fighting smart in this rematch. Like i said before that he should forget that Martinez once has his numbers and just focused on their game plan and bring glory to the Philippines once again. Overtraining and weight issues are things in the past so I hope there will be no alibis this time around. Still a week to go before the fight, and we as boxing fans are really excited that finally we are almost here. Blake Griffin just signed a one year deal with the Celtics. Seems like the Celtics are the team for veterans to try and win a chip with now. I’m not so sure they’re the team to beat in the east. I think the 76ers, Bucks, & Nets all have better teams, but with Nash being strict on the old guys maybe the Celtics are the only place willing to take the old ring chasers. Hope Blake has a good season. Last year was a bit embarrassing.
At least we will see another season for Blake, but I'm not expecting him to play many minutes with the C's. Probably just like the veteran that he is, Blake could be a good mentor for the young team. Well they have proven themselves last year, beating all the those teams in the East. It's that they will have a interim coach so that could be a factor, also the noise about their former coach might have an impact to some of the players. But we will see, maybe from time to time Griffin could have some games that he will excel, not seeing the former high flying and poster dunks from him, but at least solid contribution and his shooting from 3's have improved when he lost his athleticism. It really depends on how the country is going to used it, and if they it can be their currency of freedom then so be it. I miss the days when there were also world title fights in the undercards. Legendary Manny Pacquiao for instance used to defend his title while on the undercards like during the Lewis-Tyson fight. Glorious days for boxing. Now it's all about playing safe and money.
True, those were the days that you can literally just wait and watch before the actual main card, because the undercard is pretty much stack up with names and champion belt also on the line and they are all name fighters in the undercard. We will see that in his next coming games, either he only got a good game or just because the opponent didn't know him that's why the preparations is not their for him, it's a first game though and for sure other teams are now scouting him and trying to read his skills and capabilities, it will be a challenge to him on how to adjust in case a much tougher player will guard him, though with his height it pretty sure that most of the time he will be against his fellow import.

I only read about the interest from the Bucks and the potential return to the Lakers but I really have no idea to be honest. Maybe the Jazz will just offer him an extension so they could still have someone that will help them to compete and not plunge to the bottom of the table. On the contrary, I think the Jordan Clarkson will get traded the soonest and I was hoping that he will go the Lakers again and play with Bron. But I do agree that it seems the Lakers are pretty much stack up with Westbrook still at the help. Haven't heard any news about the contract extension as well so we will see how the Jazz is going rebuilding with him or is just waiting for a perfect opportunity before Clarkson gets traded. I don't think Ancajas to be blamed for being overweight. Ancajas as a boxer needs to follow his camp's planned activities. That includes training, diet, strategy, sparring partner, etc. The boxer has no say on this except for some issues that the boxer is allowed to input. This is also the reason why Ancajas camp got a new nutritionist because probably the previous one messed up.
Nah, they should not play the blaming game, and besides, we don't know what happenned inside, it's everyone's fault, it's safe to think that way, and we should be thinking that they will not allow it to happen again, so most likely Ancajas will have a bounce back win. Yeah, we can only think what is going inside his camp in preparation of this fight, maybe Ancajas is monitoring his weight and yet didn't do the diet that he was required, or the supposedly nutritionist didn't know who to work with boxers or miscalculated Ancajas food intake. Or the trainer really do overtrain him this time. So there are a lot of things going behind the curtain that we are not aware of. Yup exactly why they went out and got him. I remember the first (and last) time I ever played fantasy basketball I drafted Goran Dragic, this was like 2012ish , he was actually pretty solid. But that feels like an eternity ago and I just can’t can’t expect much out of the guy. It’s pretty depressing because the Bulls realistically don’t have a chance without a mega-star , and Ball likely won’t change that but we’ll never know until we get him in the lineup.
But they did well last season until the injuries plagued their roster. The first 20 games was awesome and we saw Bulls' games that's almost like an All-Star game with high flying players. True, they have like build a winning streak prior to DeRozan getting injured. And then they still make it before Lavine turn to be sideline. So it was really a combination of injuries and bad luck that really relegated their standings to the bottom half of the Eastern Conference. I think what they need is to keep themselves healthy. Just like now, they are missing another important piece to becoming an effective team.
Goran's veteran perspective might also help the young guards, he doesn't need to play much, and guiding them will be a lot of help.
That is the bottom line for most teams, they really need to get healthy or at least adjust when their superstars can't play. Lakers for one is a good example, Davis and James went down with injuries. So let's hope that there will be no major injuries for both the Bulls and the Lakers. |

According to Tyson himself Dazn, BT Sports and ESPN have all agreed a broadcasting deal and in my opinion that was going to be the biggest stumbling block as all parties will want their fare share of the pie which was probably a difficult thing to do. Hearn as been MIA all week from interviews so hopefully he gives an update soon. Good, and I do agree that network sponsorship or at least broadcasting is a deal breaker for any fight of this magnitude. So if they are mature enough to sit down and discussed as to who is getting what kind of percentage, then Fury and AJ can be made. So if we are going to believed everything here, the ball is on Hearn and Matchroom and see what will be their counter offer.
