361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: October 27, 2017, 03:18:51 PM
Just saw this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ong3a3hYG9o

Apparently, you can see the conference live from your account with a link there.

Regal up to $80 now....seems to go up in a vertical line:  https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/regalcoin/  (I think it's $90 on yobit)
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: October 27, 2017, 07:19:12 AM
Some new info in this video (not seen it all yet but looks promising): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zaPUs4oSr-Q

The beginning shows how bitconnect received 1000 bitcoins in their ICO (that's another $6million that they don't need haha) and only sold 1million in the ICO and kept well over 3million BCC tokens (the staking interest was 10% a month at that time, I think). It goes on to show some more stuff about it so might be interesting for some of you.

Firstly, the YouTuber continued to mistake parody for parity throughout the vid, at one point mistaking it for paradox.

Secondly, exactly how does one purchase BCC via US dollars? ...

Huh i don't understand it's a ponzi ?

It's not  a poNzi because they have other  sources of income besides referrals.

A pyramid scheme. Yes maybe.  LOL.  Like Amway Market America Herbalife Avon Nu-Skin

That explains why aliens don't waste their time on this planet.

The video turned out to be a bit peculiar but basically all the interest is paid as USD in the lending wallet and not BCC tokens. To withdraw it has to be first converted to BCC tokens at the current rate they have set (taken from their exchange). Obviously their rate has to be similar to other exchanges at all times due to arbitrage opportunities.

I never bother using their exchange to convert BCC into BTC (you can withdraw either so doesn't really matter) and just withdraw the BCC to my desktop wallet.

In theory, if BCC crashes, the amount of USD showing in the wallet will not change. It will just convert into more BCC tokens than before the crash. So, if people are scared of BCC crashing, they should just leave all the interest in the USD wallet (known as the lending wallet) or always convert it to BTC after converting it to BCC. The latter option doesn't help you if BTC crashes. If either crash (they seem linked nowadays), then the amount of BCC tokens needed to be paid by bitconnect to convert the USD amounts to BCC will be higher. They have plenty of these tokens at the moment and are accumulating more and more (it is nowhere near the maximum supply either).

Please point to where it's legal for Bitconnect to convert USD to BCC or BCC to USD.

The USD is not something you can deposit or withdraw. It just lets you exchange the same value in BCC tokens.

By the way, RegalCoin are still sorting their system out but their coin has gone up really high. Nearly $70 last time I looked (remember it was only sub-$1 at the ICO). I sold mine when it was about $35 oops.

What happened to this announcement on the 18th and all this news about a 'VISA' guy who started to work for them? The price didn't really pump much, though, anyway.
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: EMBERCOIN [X13, POW/POS] on: October 26, 2017, 10:46:11 PM
scam coin and dev , all my embercoin are worthless  Undecided not even 1 sat worth , i bought them @ 20-30 sat

Hi, Are you sure you mean 20-30sats as it was never that high ? I think you can get 10million for 10millibitcoin at the mo. There aren't many buyers even at that price if you want to sell any so surprised people are still able to sell any.

Another point is, how much money do you think these people need? They have no desire to exit scam anyone. They are already raking in enough money for everyone involved. I don't see any reason they would not continue it long term.

THEY AREN'T MAKING ANY MONEY!!! They are just holding the deposits of investors! Thats how they are "raking it in".

They rake in far more deposits than what people request for withdrawals, so a long as the suckers keep coming BCC will pay out and give people false hope.

The faster it fails the less people that get scammed. This sh*tshow needs to be cut down ASAP.

How do you work that out? They don't hold anyone's money. People buy BCC tokens and sometimes lend them. They pay back less BCC than is lent to them so they profit in BCC terms. This doesn't take into account the massive amount they are staking from their millions in reserve. Also, if they convert some to BTC, the rise in BTC value is also profit to them.

I think the new dev scammed people. Did anyone look into the early days of his ember address? Very suspicious (HE WASN'T GETTING MULTIPLE DONATIONS OF STRANGE AMOUNTS LIKE 13.234 OR 32.214 EMBER LIKE SOMEONE MENTIONED LOL LOOK HERE AT THE BOTTOM: http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/EMB/address.php?address=e3zmavKnnSFJaMQQNeBKWTTagh2GdESrwy&txstart=1100 )

Look at your wallet address and how it had no coins incoming from any purchases you made and only very small weird sums for the first two weeks. You were being fed coins from addresses sometimes literally A WHOLE YEAR OLD from last October. Why were those people sending you coins? Look at some of the addresses linked to your account:

Examples of other addresses which started months earlier that were feeding your main address with coins (Click INPUT 0 and you can see he dumped $100k worth and this was still mid august): http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/EMB/tx.php?tx=adbd31372c2af0a02210cacd6b5cafc35c7c83baf513bf273f058c8d86d3e684

http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/EMB/address.php?address=eKj2dbYou2YedcQNwRhaeb1UA8uENPdTmf    (another that sent you coins and started end of July too and accumulated HALF A BILLION coins in the two weeks before you posted without even staking - receiving the coins from other addresses)

I've not looked very much into it but it's clear you have scammed people out of a lot of money. The fact you try to claim you have not sold any Ember makes it worse.

To make the first link clearer, here is the address for input 0: http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/EMB/address.php?address=e6S2qnF95xzKVAYrdq7RpGUSzZaTYeQZyE

NONE OF THESE ADDRESSES STAKED ANY COINS. They were all being fed from even larger accounts. The Dev account he is showing is just one of those smaller accounts these addresses sent coins to. THEY WEREN'T DONATIONS!!!

You really think all these strange miniscule amounts were donations?

To show HOW LITTLE RESEARCH I have had to do, the first link http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/EMB/tx.php?tx=adbd31372c2af0a02210cacd6b5cafc35c7c83baf513bf273f058c8d86d3e684  was taken from the first ever transaction to his account of more than a few EMBER (it was over 4million this time). NONE OF THESE ACCOUNTS OR INPUTS STAKED COINS BUT SOLD OFF $100K of EMBER EVEN FROM THIS EARLY ON IN DEVELOPMENT!!! Something very fishy has happened. His first ever normal input on his address was linked to this big $100k dump. Someone should look into it further as I am no expert on this.
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: October 26, 2017, 12:22:51 AM
This thread is getting more than ridiculous. As long as the developers (who apparently don't know the owners) keep the site running, it is virtually impossible for it to even collapse. Are people saying bitcoin can collapse? Yes, the price can collapse at any time, but it will carry on existing. Can someone tell me how bitconnect can actually stop running? Do you think they will not have enough BCC tokens to pay USD loans back? How is that even possible. LOANERS DO NOT CARE HOW HIGH OR LOW THE BCC PRICE IS. There will still be people loaning if the price ever collapses back to $1.

Yes, if the price collapses bitconnect may need to pay people 100x the BCC coins that they currently would do for the loans, but it doesn't change the fact that most loan amounts will stay in the system and won't all need paying simultaneously and most are only paid slowly over many months. This will give plenty of time for the price to climb back up. There is no conceivable way that the system can collapse, in my view. Up to this point, in around a year of operation, they have made huge profits and have been accumulating more and more BCC tokens and not losing them.

The only recent question mark is their reason for adding a new exchange which is HitBTC, coming in a few days. This exchange has very high volumes (higher than bittrex etc as can be seen on the https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/#markets link) and it may be a way for people to offload much larger amounts of BCC tokens without crashing the markets.

At least that puts to bed Gleb's recent ridiculous claims of shenanigans on their internal exchange.

Genius! BCC trading on another exchange regardless how noble will put to rest shenanigans on their bespoke exchange. And to think that tomorrow I was going to announce that I'm going to stop fucking goats, now put off to some other date thanks to the latest from Camp BCC.

They are already on plenty of exchanges. You seem to think they are controlling the price on their own exchange which is absurd if they are on plenty of others. The new exchange has higher volume than all their current ones.

Another point is, how much money do you think these people need? They have no desire to exit scam anyone. They are already raking in enough money for everyone involved. I don't see any reason they would not continue it long term.

Greetings,

My repository answers the question of max supply: https://github.com/EmberCoin/Ember
You'll note that it was forked from the original project.

My wallet answers the accusation. No dumping: http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/EMB/address.php?address=e3zmavKnnSFJaMQQNeBKWTTagh2GdESrwy

My repository activity and issue addressing as well as other people who have helped in their own projects speaks for themselves. We have accomplished the first step of the plan whereby a community takes back ownership of a coin with a downrate coming.

Why are you shouting scam with no factual basis in your arguments, jdh015232? I already doxxed myself weeks ago when I began the process of obtaining a certificate from Certum. You're too late, and you don't even realize it because you have done 0 research at all.

Much obliged,
AndrewBC

You only ever posted in the middle of August! Your wallet address seems suspicious too as it started from the end of July (two weeks earlier). The statement about 'the old dev maybe hit by a bus' is not credible because the thread starter hasn't even disappeared anywhere and I have the feeling he is in on the scam. You also state the coin count was 4.5Billion but this was only true at the END OF JULY/START OF AUGUST not when you posted two weeks later or updated the GitHub supposedly later even than that.

Anyone else think all this on the blockchain is highly suspicious? By the way, in the two weeks from the 4.5Billion EmberCoin supply (beginning of August when you started getting suspicious deposits to your Ember address) and the time you actually posted, there was at least another 3 BILLION staked!! So the amount grew by two thirds and you expect us to believe after all this you weren't looking for buyers to dump your billions of worthless Ember on?

CHECK OUT B3 COIN!!  IT IS PAYING 10,000% INTEREST FROM STAKING UNTIL THE END OF NOVEMBER!!  STILL PLENTY OF TIME TO MAKE A QUICK BUNDLE!!$$$
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/b3coin/

THIS COIN IS SO UNBELIEVABLY CHEAP RIGHT NOW!!  WE JUST NEED TO GET THE WORD OUT!! iT CAN GO BACK UP JUST AS FAST AS ITS WENT DOWN.  lOOK AT A  COIN LIKE SPROUTS FOR EXAMPLE.  ITS AT A $35,000,000 MARKET CAP RIGHT NOW!!  AND ITS A NOTHING COIN!  AND WE ARE AT A   $2,400,000 MARKET CAP!!  UNBELIEVABLE.  ALOT OF PEOPLE DONT EVEN KNOW ABOUT THIS COIN. WE NEED TO START SPREADING THE WORD OURSELVES ON SOCIAL MEDIA.  OTHER POS COIN MESSAGE BOARDS,  FACEBOOK, TWIITER, ETC...    WE GET IT GOING IT WILL CATCH FIRE AGAIN!!!!   eVEN IF IT GOT BACK TO A LOUSY NICKEL, WE WILL MAKE A TON FROM STAKING!!

"STELLA, GET THE CHECKBOOK!"

I made a few BTC from this B3 coin AFTER IT CRASHED. It went to insane levels and I didn't even know about it until everyone started complaining. When you buy low you have a good chance. Saying that the price kept going down but the coin doubles your amount staking EVERY 3 DAYS (a bit quicker than bitconnect Tongue) for a limited time, up to block 80K I think it is. It always needed insane amounts to get rewarded more than weekly (I was always waiting a few days even though I was buying loads near the historical bottom after the crash). There is now a pool that lets your few thousand coins turn into millions in a couple of weeks lol. I thought to link this as something very peculiar happened today. The price temporarily quadrupled after this video (is this the retarded suppoman?): https://youtu.be/DoDvxKD9Z-Q?t=975 although I'm tempted to join the pool, I already sold all my coins as the price kept being dumped on. I realise this is far more of a Ponzi than bitconnect, but at least people know there are no guarantees with this one.

Someone just asked me today, would it be a good idea to invest in bitconnect?

Just reading a few pages back, I wouldn't suggest to  a friend to invest money in here.

It does smell like Ponzi to me. There's so much valid projects out there, better off investing in something else!

Come back in December and touch your heart and tell me if what you said now still valid in December.
In December the coins should be around usd 200.

Remember Bitcoin is ponzi to far more people.
Respectable and influential people have already pointed out Bitcoin as ponzi.
Why the hell are you here in crypto?

It's already at $200

Yep, back up to eighth above NEO and over $200 at the moment.

Coinmarketcap is also growing in users. Was outside the top 10,000 websites on Alexa not that long ago. In the top few hundred now.

The reason there is no transaction showing in the explorer is that you are not on the new fork. The coin forked with the wallet upgrade. This seemed to come as a surprise to the devs who then said it was a 'soft fork'. It was actually the hardest and worst fork I've ever seen for a crypto coin. People on old wallets (or new wallets with the wrong chain data) cannot send coins most of the time to new wallets, which is probably a good thing as otherwise there will be twice as many from the date of the fork.

Bitconnect is a pyramid scheme but people still make money on it.

They are making tons of money from fresh investors but one day it will not be sustainable, when it that day 1 year from now, 2 years, 6 months?

They are doing something with uquid, maybe they are diversifying.

Its possible to succede with this pyramid BUT I suspect they will slow return interest rate by summer.   Because they will not be able to pay all the investment interst unless they convince people to keep the money in and invest more, then there are new copycats that will eat some of their lunch like regal, western, hydrex, credence

Did you mean Hextra or is Hydrex the 12th this week?

hi I have the new version of the wallet Emb. but it has connections but every time again it has 0 connections and it does not synchronize. does anybody know why?  Huh Huh

Go to novaexchange etc and add the nodes list on the ember page to your ember.conf file: https://novaexchange.com/addnodes/EMB/

Saying that, not sure how much these coins will be worth. You can't even sell them for bitcoin any more, by the looks of it (you can maybe sell for DOGE and LTC maybe).

FRAUD ALERT.

I signed up for bitconnect.co and they literally stole my money and refuse to give it back. This entire site is a complete scam, if you give them money, they will probably just steal it. I am considering filing a criminal complaint against them.

Why do people bother writing this stuff with no details? There have been no complaints about bitconnect lately. They have plenty of BCC to pay people with, they have been accumulating more and more of it.

Whats going on bitconnectcoin? cant withdraw my 90k from your exchange its been 5 days now care to explain the delays?

What do you mean from the exchange?? You can send BCC or BTC to other exchanges or wallets. For BCC the best three are: CoinExchange, NovaExchange and Livecoin (the most popular external exchange).
