Thank you guys, now TOR is connected. First time trying a coin with TOR. Can my real IP address be detected cause wallet connects first without TOR?
It is natively integrated with the TOR network and always starts with TOR network. I understand it. But before TOR icon became green around 25 minutes passed and my wallet synced. Doesn't it mean it was syncing not using TOR and disclosing my original IP? No, it always connect TOR first. But when displaying the button does not triggered at the same time, it needs extra process to take a random IP to show from the Tor Network. We wanted that button have interactively change on user side. You can check from Console getpeerinfo you see no where any real IP either .onion or local networks. Thank you for responding to this question directly crypto-rainbow, (and thank you for posing it kokokoin). Not many of us have the skills to investigate this sort of query on our own.

Dev any update on Exchange?? Miner need to pay their electricity.. Hahaha.. Will sold at exchange for 25onion = 1btc..lalalala..do you guys wanna stake.. Buy it.. Hehe.. Pls update info later admin.. #DeepOnionForAnonymous #DeepOnionRoad2Milionnaire
Suitable exchanges are being researched currently from what I understand. I do know it is important to them that the coins are listed somewhere that will add to its reputation rather than detract from it.

could anyone please point me into the right direction where i can find more information about how staking works? i am staking for a couple of days now, in the bottom right corner you can see your staking weight and the network weight if you hover with your mouse over the lightbulb. the network weight should be all wallets that are currently staking and the personal weight should be your contribution from the network weight. there is also an estimated time which is either very inaccurate or broken. for me the estimated time is one hour. my last staking payout happend exactly 12 hours ago yesterday i got 7 staking payouts. in my timezone which should not matter: 12:45, 17:04, 17:16, 18:38, 21:53, 22:26, 23:40 since then i got nothing Oo well im a little confused about this. kw30 #deeponion w142c805/01There is an informative and easy to understand tutorial regarding staking in the deeponion.org Community Forum which you can find here: https://deeponion.org/community/threads/deeponion-wallet-staking-tutorial.31/Do allow for the fact that network weight changes frequently, as will your 'stake' - and the basis for a successful stake in which you generate onion is pseudo-random. For example, for a period of a few hours the other day my 'stake' represented over 10% of the network weight - I think I only generated 0.03 of an onion in those few hours.

I feel sorry for the poor people who joined in too late. But understandable with others being able to create more than one account. Anyhow, rules are rules I guess. Yah. A line had to be drawn in the sand somewhere. There is already a market for old bitcointalk accounts to contend with as well. Onions will hit an exchange in good time, hopefully not too quickly, and people will then have an opportunity to buy them eventually.
Looks good, count me in also!
You can't join the airdrop with a new account bitcointalk account. You can participate in any of the bounty programs however. I suggest you join the Community Forum at deeponion.org and read the threads there - there are many ways to earn some onion. There is a "Bitcointalk Newbie Account Onion Giveaway" available for the first 60 People that is still running for example.

Dear developer, please explain! Thank you!
Hopefully the dev will pop in to address your concerns. It may be that the Team need to review their policy for staking the main dev wallet. I would like to add that I don't see them staking all of the time though (via watching the network weight - I have my wallet staking 24/7).

I would appreciate if anyone here can tell me what it takes for my rank to upgrade to next level. It seems like it is taking forever!
Activity rating of 60. About four more valid bitcointalk posts I would say

to beloved dev.
im a miner and receive the airdrop.. let say tomorrow DO will be listed in an exchange.. if i sell all of my mining DeepOnion that i get.. just the mining part.. does it calculated toward the 90% rules for the airdrop? or just the airdrop Onion are counted for?
pls help. a lil bit of explanation maybe to clarify this..
thanks Dev for this good and nice coin and community.
Lets prosper together.
I can answer that for you, and I am sure crypto-rainbow will correct me if I am wrong. The answer is: You can do whatever you want with the coins you have mined. That includes sending them to me.

Hello, looks like an amazing project, I will be a supporter.
I have one question: If our membership rank upgrades, do we automatically get better drops next weeks?
I understand the answer is yes, but I am not entirely sure what happens if you forget to update your signature on bitcointalk when your membership level increases. Just make sure you update your membership signature when you level.
Cool stuff.. Received some onion coins so thumbs up. Anybody know what the future developments are on this coin?
How did you receive coin without the appropriate signature in place?
Will there also be another airdrop. im still a newbie, so cant participate in this one
At this stage you cannot participate in any airdrops as your account was created after July 12th.

i also got 573 Onions for jr. member. well im a "member" since 19th July guess the team missed it or your software wont change the payout in current week. maybe someone can check it and drop the rest? thanks in advance Same for me, I also got 573 Onions, just jumped from jr.member to member some days ago. Hopefully I will get 645 next week as I saw another member wrote a few posts back got. Hopes this gets sorted out. Thank you for the Onions You will both need to unlock your wallets (for staking only!) - it's fairly simple, but there is a tutorial showing how to stake your wallet on the deeponion.org site in the Community Forum if you need further information.

217 users are there who are valid and registered before today midnight (we decided to include last minute comers!) payments DELIVERED
Thank you @crypto-rainbow! I can confirm that I have successfully received my share of the coins from the first airdrop! Congratulations to all of the 'first-adopters' that made it into the first round!

I am still not able to stake. How much time does it need for the coins to mature. Or do I need to open my wallet for 24 hrs? Just give it time, it will stake. Mine has been staking everyday for the last 5 days, I leave my wallet open 24/7. Although not necessary it makes the network faster for transactions and staking and also more security on the TOR network. Hey @abdulmad, can you check the number of coins you are staking on the 'Overview' tab of your wallet? I notice that I was staking coins successfully until I received the first round of airdrop coins and now the coins that show as 'Stake' has returned to zero. (Actually I would be happy to hear from anyone who has been staking coins successfully).

I have mined about 45 of them sweet onions by now I'm HODLing on to these and will continue to mine indefinitely, now waiting for the precious airdrop Should be really interesting to see when this hits exchanges, demand seems high! Hey Tim, what sort of rig are you using for mining and at what hash rate? A lot of people aren't aren't gpu mining because they don't think they will hit blocks.
Hell, at this point I am gonna be glad just to become a junior member so I can actually post all my funny images I have been making, quite a running commentary of memes out of everything I have been reading here prior to the first airdrop Are you going to be posting them in the deeponion.com community forum? There is a thread there for images that that peeps have created for other other people to use. There is an onion bounty for images that the deeponion.com team likes as well.
Does it still make sense to mine it just with a video card?
No, I think think gpu mining would not be particularly successl at the moment unless you have a Gough mining rig that I'd is capable of generating 0.5GH/s or so. There are some folks mining with gpu on here that may provide you more information however

I'm pleased to say I did acquire a little DIMCOIN. Aside the fact that DIMCOIN is a promising project on it's own, I also bought DIMCOIN because it was built on the NEM chain platform. I am quietly confident of the long term prospects for both.
I've been slowly accumulating NEM with what money I have spare at the end of each pay period (which is not all that much; I'm certainly no whale). Of all the various crypto I hold, NEM is one of the very few I hold the highest of hopes for.

There's a 'daily' about DeepOnion over at $chan /biz/ again if anyone would care to post in that thread and help spread the news about DeepOnion. Here is the link to that thread: http://boards.4chan.org/biz/thread/2830878
