362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: September 25, 2017, 11:07:00 AM
I've been talking about Bitcoin to family, friends and random people for years and nobody seemed to mind when BTC was under $1000. But now that Bitcoin has reached $2000, people are starting to realize that owning 1 BTC is beginning to be out of reach for the average person.

I've had more people ask me about Bitcoin lately and wanted help buying Bitcoins. What about you?
My classmates are now asking me about the bitcoins because they became curious why I have many money. They said that they will use also bitcoin and they will also join in signature campaign in this forum.
363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: September 25, 2017, 03:19:29 AM
I just wanted to know that, what amount of risk is there in investing in bitcoins.
Right now i am planning to buy btc approx 3-4 btc and just hold them as i guess the price of bitcoin will increase in future and i will get some good profit. But i want to know what is the risk involved. Can bitcoin price decrease and is this right time to buy the bitcoin.
Bitcoin investment is less risky than other investments like trading and gambling. In bitcoin investment you can sure that you can get profit. The gambling and trading is very risky. You need knowledge before doing that.
364  Economy / Economics / Re: The Real Reason to Hold Gold And Bitcoin on: September 24, 2017, 12:42:13 PM
The world is run by the state-bank alliance.  The top politicians and bankers jointly profit from inflating the values of money and debt with state power -- this system couldn't survive without either side.

See Dissecting the Parasitocracy.

The interesting thing is, if you buy and hold gold and Bitcoin for the long term, you can benefit.  (Just make sure you don't buy when the global empire is rising, like the 1950s or early 1990s.)  The reason is also due to the nature of the state-bank alliance.

Note that, in this alliance, the top politicians contribute state power, while the top bankers contribute financial know-how.  The politicians, being totally ignorant in this high-stakes and specialized game, are basically led around like children.  They just go along because they benefit from issuing huge amounts of public debt without being punished by the 'markets.'

So here's the problem with this alliance.  When financial asset values collapse (and this day will come, due to the incentives faced by the elites) and everyday people suffer, the politicians will put all the blame on the bankers.  The reasons are obvious (and there is no loyalty in that game,) and the politicians are going to win that argument.  The biggest such events in history include the Spanish Inquisition and the Nazi Holocaust.  In our day, politicians like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren have already gone after the bankers.

Knowing that, the bankers and central bankers must prepare a last-ditch rescue for a worst-case scenario, when all trust in the system is gone.  That rescue will be some non-state-issued asset, like gold, silver, and Bitcoin, that the elites can peg their money to (at a high price for the non-state asset,) stabilize their system, and ease the suffering.  Even if the bankers think there's only a small chance for such an occurrence, it will be so devastating to the bankers that they must prepare for it.

So, the elites will try to suppress non-state assets, but won't kill them, even when given a chance.  In the long run, this presents something like a one-way bet for these assets, at current prices.
The real reason why we need to hold bitcoins and golds are because the value of the two are continuing to rise up. The bitcoin and gold are really good for investment.

366  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading strategy? on: September 24, 2017, 08:39:00 AM
Tell me about your trading strategy.

How much coins do you use when you trade? All of them?

How much time is it appropriate to hold a coin?

Thx
HODL is the best strategy that you can use. Many people earned big amount of money because of the HODL. I also earned big amount of money because I always do the HODL. I can say that the HODL is really effective technique.
367  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade or Hodling on: September 24, 2017, 08:10:31 AM
I would just like to hear your opinions, Which is more profitable, Day Trading where you can profit through buying the dips and selling when it pumps repeatedly, or Long term HODLing where you buy the dip and only sell it when it goes up 5 to 10 times its price value?

In bitcoins, I always do the holding but in altcoins I always doing day trade. Day trade is very profitable because everyday the price of the coin are always changing. I earned now many dollars  because of the day trade.

Losing is part of successfully trading. If you treat losing as part of trading then you are an experienced trader.
I can say that fear is really a big factor in the trading world. Sometimes fear is the reason why we don't earn big amount of money. We should overcomd our fear of losing money.
374  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the Biggest problem you have with trading / exchanging? on: September 18, 2017, 03:38:32 AM
I'm curious if other people are having similar challenges. But,
what is your BIGGEST problem with trading crypto coins and exchanging overall?

Your feedback would be appreciated.
My biggest mistake in trading when I sell quickly my coins. That time I don't have a patience and I regret that moment because the value of that coin tripled but because of my mistakes, I learned a lot of things.

376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be useful for governments and banks? on: September 17, 2017, 08:35:45 AM
Very often I see people asking here if governments and banks are going to destroy crypto, because it aims to replace them.

But what if governments and banks can benefit from Bitcoin too? Here's a few cases that I can think about.

Just like US military invented Tor for their own use, cryptocurrencies can be used by agencies like CIA for their own purposes. They can secretly fund opposition in other countries, as well as fund private companies, researchers and political figures.

Bitcoin can be used as universal global money, it's much cheaper to store and transact than gold. Many countries are unhappy with financial hegemony of USD, and Bitcoin can easily solve this problem (although centralization if mining around China can be slightly problematic).

Banks can offer their customers better privacy via cryptocurrencies.

Thoughts?
That is not true. In my counrty, the governments and the banks are supporting the bitcoin. There is particular bank in my country that you can cash out your bitcoin. My country is really supporting the bitcoin.

379  Economy / Economics / Re: lest we forget, Bitcoin is a blessing. on: September 16, 2017, 04:49:54 AM
Bitcoin has pass through many stage, limitations, attack and forks issue but its price keep on increasing from inception till now. At this time Last year bitcoin price was $450 but today it is $1245 that was over 180% increment in just a year. This is what we call blessing, that is making progress in the face of strong opposition!!

Yes, a very great blessing for all. Bitcoin has been through ups and downs, FUD monsters, attacks of all sorts from all sides, and yet it remains to be strong, if not even stronger. I hate to hear people kind of losing hope simply because china is saying ICOs are getting banned and the effect will be the crash of bitcoin and the crypto. Bitcoin has gone much more difficult problems and it survived.
Yeah Bitcoin is really a blessing for all of us. We are here in this cryptocurrency world because we all want to earn money and we all know that the bitcoin is answer for all of our dreams.
380  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what do you think about pump and dump? on: September 15, 2017, 04:50:58 PM
what do you think about pump and dump?  did you ever trade on pump and dump event? can you give few tips for how to make money from this events? what i need to look for?
Pump and dump are normal in this cryptocurrency world because it has a characteristic of being volatile. Today most of the coins are dumping because of banning of the bitcoin and other ICO in China but I am sure that all of the coins will pump again.
