I am also HODLING. Learned my lesson from my previous experience for being a weak hands. HODLING doesn't necessarily mean you have to fully reserve your crypto. Make a profit from a portion of it and diverse it into other coins. Eventhough small gains can bring you great profit in the long run.
I agree. Small gain can have big profit once you hold it and the price grows in the market. I am also holding because selling now is not that good to cut losses because you can lose much from it. It is good to hold it for long term to make it grows. Regret for not selling early cannot do but learned from it that times like this will make you stronger. I believe that just lime in history, it will begin to rise again. |

I would like to say that today in early December in 2018, it is a good start for a market that is returning to green. And it was the opening for a better crypto market situation in the past few weeks. Ethereum is still ranked third after XRP. It is not impossible if it will return to second place to reclaim its position. What do you think about this?
I agree that December is good start to invest on crypto. For XRP, I see that it is good for trading but not for long term investment. Though, the price beats the ethereum, ethereum will come back and beats XRP. Eth is just having a downfall and I believe that hodling it will be worth good later. It will stay long than XRP. |

people can call things whatever they like. they call bitcoin a "revolution", "get rich quick" and "to da moon",... others call it "ponzi", "fraud", "bubble",... and lots of things. none of them change anything about what bitcoin really is.
but it shows how poorly some people are educated. and how poor some of these articles are written by these poorly educated people.
Whatever they call about bitcoin, still it is the most popular digital coin which became the foundation of a crypto currencies and believe on the potential and benefits it bring in the market. It is not even a token, it is a currency which you can buy everything using it. I am earning bitcoin and also spend it directly differently on what other think that it is a token. |

Actually, popular people can influence people more than you think. There are many examples of them winning elections. Remember Arnold Schwarzenegger and Donald Trump?
Of course, smart guys wouldn't fall for their lies, but the majority of people is stupid. So, educate them!
Sometimes, popular people help to promote the projects because they influence and get trust to people. They can be used to educate the people about digital currencies give benefits. That's right, we don't need to worry about the future of bitcoin. Increasingly, more and more people are adopting bitcoin as a globally trusted decentralized system. People see bitcoin in the short term worrying because they don't get the benefits they expect.
Bitcoin will stay on the circulation in the market and value won't end because it is adopted even in businesses as the goal as new payment method. People just worrying because they cannot get profit for short term but it is just a beginning for new adaptors and investors. he posted the theme because bitcoin dropped to $ 600 from $1300.
and today, investors prefer hodl. but, what is the decision for traders today? or many investors are turning into traders?
Bitcoin will only rise when bought by investors. If it bought by traders, it will go dump when the traders got the profit. So the only thing that can make bitcoin rise again is gaining new investors  I agree. Traders won't help to pump up the price but make it stable because every profit they get, they can sell and buy when suddenly drops. New investors who believes on bitcoin to rise up can help to pump the price because they will choose to hodl more to gain good profit. Hopefully, there comes investors that will help to change the market positively. |

Bitcoin was created with a fairly developed technology, the price dropped is not a big problem. Prices dropped by people like those who panicked and left Bitcoin, without being aware that bitcoin was starting to be adopted and would certainly have a much better value. By not promoting it in time, bitcoin will continue to rise, because this has become the formulation of this technology. I sell bitcoin and I will also buy that bitcoin again.
Bitcoin will make it again to be great and bullish in the market. It is volatile but at lower value which is not good even you want to cut your losses and buy again, it is won't helpful for that. It is good to take risk now and buy more volume and keep holding of what you have and wait till it worth good. |

You are very correct. Those panic sellers should open their eyes to see tomorrow. It is the most unintelligent thing to easily throw away an asset like bitcoin because the price is coming down. But you forgot that at the other end, someone is buying bitcoin from you.
That is why many investors taking an opportunity to panic sellers and telling about FUD which trigger those emotionally weak. Open your eyes that it is the end for bitcoin, it won't lose the value. While somebody enjoying the moment to have more volume at cheaper amount, you are wasting what you have which is late to cut losses. You have to be confident on what you hold because that will be worth better when the price increases. |

What's the alternative to "keep calm and wait"? Panic and rush in? Doesn't really feel like there's any other good way to deal with Bitcoin, is there?
Forget asking about the opinion of others, and form your own. It's going to prove to be just as accurate, if not more so, than any opinion you'll get from this forum.
It's like anything in life really, come to think of it. If you can't afford to be patient with Bitcoin, best not dabble. If you're after quick profits, you'd best try your luck (yes, luck) at gambling on exchanges, buy and sell with the tide. If you can afford the time, spend it reading up and learning about Bitcoin before asking about price opinions. You'll thank yourself later for having learnt more about Bitcoin and using it in more useful ways - regardless of what price it's at.

Invest your time first before making a decision of taking risk to invest with many then ask what to do when it doesn't work as what you expect. You can learn strategies on your own and then ask opinion when you can't find an answer on your own. Market is very volatile, you can play with it by trading or gaming. Im not use it.. my money is not for crypto only and i feel enough use web wallet.. I think hardware wallet just for someone who have a huge value of crypto asset..
I agree. Hardware wallet is for those who have handsome amount in crypto. I used MEW to store my tokens and web wallet for my bitcoin. But still I feel secure that it will not lose from it. Not all my earning is for investment but also easily cashing it out t spend in daily living. |

With my little knowledge in the industry, I think holding or investing in Ethereum is better than Litecoin. Ethereum platform has more better features than Litecoin and better use case . The price is increasing gradually and this is best time to invest in it.
I still believe on ethereum that it is worth for holding. It supports mostly of the platform so it is hard that it won't rise up and die in the market. I am holding ETH but I see Litecoin that is good for trading as well. Buy now because whatever coins today is cheaper. Take this an opportunity to take risks for investment. |

I don't care when is bull run or it'll happen in this year or not right now, I just hope market don't crash anymore and bitcoin price rise back to $7K in the end of december, I think bitcoin cash hard fork is caused crypto market crash, anyway it's already happen, so just wait for 2019 is a better year
I also do not expect that bull run might happen before year ends but I still believe that it would going to happen. I wait patiently for that time to come. This will be hard to the market to recover but I buy coin that I hold much longer and make it worth when price increases in the market. i bought bitcoin when it was for $14 k
now it's less than $4k. i lost +10k per one bitcoin.
Bitcoin is worst investment ever i could imagine.
it is your worst investment, not ours so don't blame the whole of us, have you heard the saying only invest what you can afford to lose, it has been preached thousands of times here so if you lost with that big amount it's because you did not sell when it's time to sell. It seems that price won't up high again after $14k had reaches on the market and keep falling. It is worst investment and feel sorry to you but still you can hold and wait for the recovery. If you choose to sell now you lose big amount so it is more worth to patiently wait. Not only experiencing this but still keep believing on the potential of the coin. |

I wonder that people are still hoping for a bull run this year.
I gave up the hope for that some time ago.
But should one come, i am happy, but i do not wait.
I do not see the bull rum might happen this year, but still hope that it happen this coming year. It's not "still unpredictable" but "never predictable". If everyone can predict the market, it will be not "the market". Maybe someone have a right prediction, but whether they are right with 100% in anytime. And I see all predictions are a FOMO or FUD behavior.
