361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Know what bankroll management is in sports betting? on: November 29, 2020, 02:12:04 AM
And you know winning moments are difficult to quit it. This problem can be related to any body gambling. This is one challenge that is difficult to drop. Like you question yourself why you want to leave your winning chance. I don't advise quitting a winning moment because it doesn't come all the time.
Exactly winning moments are hard to quit because of aiming to win over and over again. A gambler already knows the chance of winning is just small but as the usual the addiction comes to a person. Calm minds is also important as mentioned above as this could help to a person to think in a right direction of when to stop the game. So all lists inputs is very important as this is also a reminder to many on what to do in betting a game.
It's not a big problem, you gamble as long as you want but you need to ensure that you still have the discipline to follow the right bankroll management, or what is planned. Say, you gamble at 2% per bet, so stick with it, and you won't easily lose even if your winning moment will flip.

One needs to practice bankroll management effectively, and everything will follow.

That's why we should always keep in mind to have a self control over a self desire. I can relate on the emotion of after winning once i was in determination to win again and again which after i execute all of those games turns out i lose more than winning. Sometimes because of our greediness to earn or win more we commit in a decision which leads us into much failure. This thread has a lot of information instill to everyone but the most important thing was having a self control and descipline.
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it right time to buy Altcoin ? on: November 28, 2020, 08:57:47 PM
It depends on what you are buying, the recent price correction gave chance to those who like to grabe free Flare token this up coming XRP airdrop on the 12th of December.  It's nice to grab good altcoins whenever there is a price correction, make sure to search for news and updates before choosing what to buy. For me, if you are a long- term investor, buy anytime as long as you think the price is good.
Yes I agree , if we will notice there's a price correction last time wherein almost all or should I say all of the coins in the market are bleeding headed by the bitcoin, that time it is the right to buy bitcoin and most especially altcoins . I grab that opportunity to buy XRP since there will be some fork on 12th, aside from base on the chart it will goes up this Dec, but it so happen that there will be some sideways first before some bull run again so better to buy altcoin now and stored it until next bull run in Dec.
363  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Rather learn to trade by yourself on: November 28, 2020, 04:20:26 PM
true and by do that, you will know how to deal with different situation in the market rather than following others choices and you can not learn anything from that.  also by trade by yourself you can pretty much control everything such as setting your profit, cut loss and discussing with the community, just imagine talking with the other traders and you don't know what thell you are talking about
Indeed, and you know what I am learning to trade by myself, I'm not good at taking so much risk, I am having so much losses this days, I lost almost 2eth last time, I knew that it is maybe small than others traded amount but for me it is already big since not all the people can bet 2eth and lose it, and also it is big for newbie trader like me, but then losing is the part of growing. Failing forward is the thing that we need to learn, the first thing you need to learn in trading is that learning to stand up after failing in trading.
364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rumours that Bitcoin was created in Russia on: November 28, 2020, 02:57:23 PM
rumoh like a lot, I've even read articles if there are rumors that bitcoin was made in Japan, Australia or China and America. but the actual fact is not yet known from which country bitcoin was made and when by whom. so I think it's just a rumor that is not yet fundamental
Yeah, it's been 10years but no one knows the origin of it nor who is the one who created bitcoin, we didn't know as well if the name "Satoshi Nakamoto" is real as well but no matter how many rumors it will be I hope that guys that has a name of Satoshi Nakamoto is still living and kicking until now, so that he can see that his creation is big now, and has a lot of people all over the world is interested, there will be a doubt on it before but now 1 bitcoin is so much high in price and because of it many wonderful altcoin are being created, so whoever and wherever Satoshi is, I hope he is fine and happy.
365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Gang uses crypto for illegal purposes on: November 28, 2020, 02:07:22 PM
I do not know why the government should ban gambling if not for only self-centered reasons, I do not see this kind of way as laundering money. Also in the so called China, cryptocurrencies are banned but mined the highest cryptocurrencies in the world. And we should also know that fiats are much more used for illegal activities than crypto. Crypto only give the advantage that you use it as payment and have privacy that the governments want to compromise

Yes that's why I think gambling is not really going to be banned in different countries because it is being used illegally, but we can't erase the fact that due to this reasons more and more people think badly in bitcoin especially those who doesn't know bitcoin or what is the real purpose of it, you have a point that they use fists more often in badly things but sarcastically it is not being banned, they use cryto payment in some things only like website hacking, ddos and payment in btc will be the payment for them to release it back and so on. Everyone is free to use bitcoin and other crypto currency it is depend on them to where would they put that in.
366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Probability on: November 28, 2020, 12:19:41 AM
That facial expression tells something about his card that and sometimes I'll take that opportunity but if we are facing professional gamblers, you can just see them in calm. And it finds also that reading those emotions and facial expressions can't help you to win, what we need is to have luck.
Well, those skills had something to help since not all the times you will have a winning card.

You should keep in mind that experienced players are able to keep calm when playing poker and it is difficult to guess anything from their face. Besides, I think everyone knows how to make a happy face when you have bad cards in your hand. This is one of the stages of bluffing.
In any case, if players often play together, they can notice some features of the opponent's behavior, which help to guess which cards are in his hands.
That is really hard when you are facing these kinds of gamblers and only our last chance to win is to have luck. However, if you are very much experienced in poker, it is not really important. What we need for now is to apply what we have learned from the past, make use of our skills and strategies well. Maybe they are good at hiding their emotions but we are not sure as well if they are good enough in handling their cards in the hard scenario because that would be the last way to make win otherwise, we lose.

Perks of being a poker player as much leisure time as she/he has that's why some of them were already developed their own tactics how to defeat their opponents. Poker probability combinations only shows the different combinations of playing poker but in the real game the tactics of one player were literally the dominant moves of them that they guess will make them win. And some of odds of winning also were due to luck.
367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Argentina raises Gambling tax on: November 27, 2020, 11:30:52 PM
Online gambler recover from pandemic how? The last time i checked physical gamblers and online gamblers spent more time gambling online and the pandemic doesn't by any chance stop them from playing every single day though i understand the tax will somehow affect some online player the country in the subject badly need some fund to save the country economy and the increased in tax fee will only hurt the gamblers but won't stop their interest in an online game of chance.
If anyone is affected by this tax then they can always move to cryptocurrency based gambling sites, it is a fact that the government increased the tax because of the economic slowdown due to the pandemic but as a player you can be smart to overcome these extra money you need to shell out and there is nothing that the government can do about it.

Yes they can move in cryptocurrency based gambling site, from here government has nothing to do to increase the taxes due to the fact that government has no control in crypto. Which in fact many gambling sites today were now i guess can already figured out the importance of using cryptocurrency as a base payments or payouts to their player. Can't resist the fact that due to pandemic, economic growth goes down and no other source of resource fund but the taxes that's why they taking the advantage of adding taxes.
368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: November 27, 2020, 09:41:20 AM
You will not notice that you are getting addicted to gambling, it's the people close to you that will notice that, you will defend how you gamble even if you are losing a lot of money here, you will only notice it when you already have a risky behavior and you are acting differently and you are losing a lot so it's very important that we do always take control even on day one.

Indeed some gamblers didn't know to themselves that they have been addicted to gambling. Some are indenial about their addiction in gambling and they will says that they are just having fun and gambling for them was a n entertainment but it the mere fact that they have been into it almost a whole day, or as much time they can spend to it was already a sign of addiction. The only person who can tell them was the people sorrounds him that's why if ever one of your family members said it to you be curious and watch your own actions towards gambling.
369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How long until we can bet with bitcoin in real life casinos? on: November 26, 2020, 05:02:44 PM
It will not take that long for sure especially to those casinos that freely accepts crypto currencies. Once the government of a certain landbase casino are not against in using crypto currencies then this will serve as a bridge for it to happen where we can enjoy using bitcoin or other crypto currencies in betting to a landbase casino.

Let's say that 2-5 years from now there will be few casinos that will announce this kind of news that they are already accepting bets in bitcoin to their landbase casinos.

Yes that's what I am thinking, few more years bitcoin will be accepted as mode of payment in every casinos, maybe also the reward amount can be in bitcoin or eth depending on the top coins in that year it will be adopted, but I guess 2020 is the year if bitcoin where it is heard in more countries now and lot of people are aware to what bitcoin is and how do they trade, gambled and mine bitcoin so I think in able to make every casinos in the trend, they will accepts bitcoins soon.
370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fees high on: November 26, 2020, 04:18:22 PM
What is bothering me is the uncertainty regarding the fees. It is getting quite difficult to calculate the fee now. Yesterday I made one transaction, after paying 30 Sat/Byte as the fee (which would have given me instant confirmation according to various fee calculator sites). But after I made the transaction, the Mempool size went up and the transaction got stuck. It got confirmed only after 4 hours.
You should be aware that as bitcoin pumps as well as eth, expect that their fees will go high too, I remember last 2017, fees are high that time, I withdraw my bitcoin and it takes 3days before I receive it, luckily I receive it before my birthday , during that time I think some other people uses bitcoin accelerator I don't know if it is true and make your transaction faster but it will cost you another fee, well if it is true , I think it can help you especially if you need money so much.

Actually, the fees in crypto calculations are still the same, for example, like bitcoin the fees charged start from 0.0002, I think it's still the same until now.

But what becomes expensive because the price is getting higher, of course we cannot equate this with the equivalent of USD, but we still have to calculate it in crypto so that we can be relevant in comparing it.
You got the point, what is changing in bitcoin is its value not its quantity, but then as I said we should expect this thing to happen, maybe convert your bitcoin to xrp for lower fees and faster transaction.
371  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin with no KYC verification on: November 26, 2020, 03:03:41 PM
Hi guys, I'm looking for a safe way to buy Bitcoin or any Altcoin with USD (Fiat) using Credit Card or Paypal without any ID verification. Do you guys have any idea how to do this.
If it happens you have Bitcoin ATM in your area then I will highly recommend it. You could also try to purchase via P2P but dealing with strangers will put you at a higher risk, as much as possible make a transaction to trusted members.
And the last thing I've know is through DEX(decentralize exchanges) such as Bisq and more. There are some CEX (centralized exchanges) as well that don't require any KYC but the amount of BTC you can only purchase is below 2 Bitcoin. You could try them as well and they are certainly secure.

That could be great if you have a local ATM machine in your area, we also have a bitcoin atm machine but it is about 50KM away from me so I guess, I rather convert my bitcoin in another altcoin such as XRP for me to withdraw it, in our local wallet, you may buy and sell your bitcoin in there, there are 3 levels to choose from, with Level 1 you don't need to pass KYC, but the withdrawal and deposit limit is too low, maybe if you are a big shot trader you need to go for level 3 because it is more convinient.
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do not trade Alts with BTC these days, You will just lose on: November 26, 2020, 02:14:58 PM
Too bad if the OP doesn't buy Altcoins when the price is at the bottom,
because now altcoins are partying, yes only the top altcoins are partying,
be patient there is still a chance to join the party, buy those that haven't increased!
Like what everybody says, we should take every opportunity that we have so that we can reap everything that we can take advantage, like last time I bought XRP at 3100 then I sold it at 4000, then I take my profit, I don't want to lose so much when it dips , and I am not prepared for it, I bought another XRP now and wait for another pump maybe today or before the fork on 12th of December.
373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Life, gambling and trials. on: November 26, 2020, 01:35:05 PM
Actually you're going to keep on repeating that "I'm gonna win this time" phrase if you still have money on your wallet, and after your funds are all gone, the only difference would be is that its going to be louder and mixed with anger "I'm gonna win this time!!!" and then the greediness would start to eat you slowly. So instead of saying "I'm gonna win this time", I think it's gonna be more ideal if you're going to say "I'm going to quit this time" because that's more reassuring than the first one.

No matter how big your resolve is, you can never beat a Gambling house, even with a plan, or even with your big fat wallet. It's all about luck and good decision making.
Yes, if he will lose in consecutive times he should stop , maybe regain his sanity first, I mean yes when he decided to stop because of this misfortune you will become devastated, he should rest, and maybe if he still wants to gamble he can watch some gameplay so that he can learn some strategies, losing is part of everyone's life, it is natural but losing too much and in a row is bad and not normal, worst thing is he should stop .
374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Do You Want For Christmas? on: November 26, 2020, 09:19:48 AM
Since Christmas is coming I think, the best thing is to have some free plays or free tokens to be played with in their website. I think free spin for every 1hr is good? or free coins to be redeemed?? In this thing they can advertise their website as well, I just want to learn how to trade in different platforms, or maybe a free coin for every 100$ deposit in their website, maybe in USDT or BTC whichever supported by them, many people have More money during these days, so depositing 100 then have a free tokens will be attractive to every gamblers.

Like last 2017 ATH ni bitcoin nun, bumagsak din alts that time pero around Q4 tumaas din naman for example XRP as far as I know umabot to ng 3$ eh, kaya ang ginawa ko now dahil nag dip last time XRP bumili ako tapos nag TP agad ako, ayon successful naman.
376  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Looking for bitcoin with good exchange on: November 25, 2020, 05:10:24 PM
There are many exchanges in the market that are good, such as binance and kucoin, but in order for you to withdraw at least 2BTC and above it needed KYC so I think, get ready your valid ID, you may also buy in PayPal if you want. But I rather suggest to choose in the TOP5 list in coinmarketcap or coingecko for your reference, here are the top 5 as of now: (source: coinmarketcap)

1. Binance
2. Coinbase Pro
3.Huobi
4.Kraken
5.Bitfinex

You may choose the best exchange as well in terms of users activity or I mean their features, what they offers, how much are the fees, and many more.

In binance, as you may know, they have their own coin called BNB, and recently BSC (Binance Smart Chain) comes into the cryptoworld, so far it is the TOP1 and it is still improving since 2017, Huobi is good as well, even kucoin is not there, I trust kucoin so much, I made different transactions in there and it all went good so far. You need to consider website security above all.
377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: November 25, 2020, 04:23:52 PM
whether you win or loss every attempts provokes us to make it more longer. Most of cases our situation become helpless or loss our control in the hurry of recovering our loses. But in the process of recovering our money back we suppose to forget our goal as this only leads higher chance of losing. This is all of lie and an inappropriate movement.
Yes move forward is the key, we can continue to lose if we are going to think of that we will continue to lose yes that's right , so let's move on, but you need to rest mate before playing again, so that you will be refreshed and your mind will reset, probably you will move on, because when you will play right after you lose so you can recover it will only lead you to massive lose. That is what I am doing as well when I lose.
378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 25, 2020, 12:53:23 PM
If someone believes that players are making more money then they are stupid, gambling sites/company makes more money even after paying millions to their players which means more people are losing the money. We can gamble and we also can make money but making money part is not in our hand so we always have to be prepared to lose all bets then only we can be happy when we win bets.
You are wrong, it always depends on the gambler if he will win more or lose more, more than he made, so if you don't want to lose money don't bet too much, do not put all of your money if you don't have any savings, track your savings if you want, always save any amount of your winnings, be careful not to regret because sometimes it will only be the reason why you will keep on betting higher and higher so that you may get back all the losses, it will be the reason for losing too much, but if you will learn not to do this, then you are good.
379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Gang uses crypto for illegal purposes on: November 25, 2020, 11:33:39 AM
If many countries will impose strict laws and regulations about crypto it could help lessen these activities. Countries can set a minimum amount of crypto to fiat exchange monthly or annualy. They could ask many papers to backup the source of crypto of their citizen. If the criminals found out there are many processes to convert bitcoin into fiat then they would think twice or find other country where it's not that strict to convert crypto to fiat.
Yes it will be, but we all know that bitcoin is being used in illegal and in the illegal web since they are using that for anonymous transactions, and later on it introduced in the public and become one of the best mode of payment in different categories and in become a good investment as well, and for now, there are some banks who recognize it as well. But illegal purposes cannot be eliminated not unless government will take care of it, regulates it, but when this thing happens, taxes can be put in every transactions.
380  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin with no KYC verification on: November 24, 2020, 11:41:15 PM
Looks easy if you wanna buy bitcoin or altcoin without KYC, ask to your friend and purchase bitcoin on exchange wallet trough with your friend account but later you can sent your fund to your account from your friend account. Look effective if you afraid with KYC and looks very easy how to buy bitcoin without KYC, but disadvantage if your account not pass KYC for binance will limited withdrawing every day and Bittrex is not available for you to withdraw without have KYC. Better try to KYC or looking your friend to submit KYC on your account because will be safety later when need review for KYC again.
If he wants to buy bitcoin yes he can buy it in exchanges, there's no KYC if you will buy in small amount, you may read their toc for you to know if it is beyond the category that KYC is not needed. I think there's no bank that is selling bitcoin now , maybe digital banks like PayPal but if it is physical banks, I don't know and maybe KYC is needed in there of course. Or he can buy P2P that is more safe than trading online with someone make a meet up then buy it personally.
