If anybody wants to change their BTC address, you will be able to see a tab named PROFILE which you can use to change your BTC address, email and password.

Bonus activated for everyone who posted.

Thanks!  I was just about to ask if I could change my address, stupid inputs.io!

inputs.io was certainly a fucked up thing, but I cannot forgive its users either! Did you ever ask yourself what was the point in using that ? Best of luck for your lost funds, think better when picking some service to give your money.

Thankfully, I didn't keep any real funds there just what my old erupters had mined and what I've received from faucets while idling on my home and work computers (~0.05 BTC).  I, like most sane people, keep my BTC encrypted and offline in a secure location.

I see a lot of people bashing it like it wasn't a great service.  I found it particularly helpful when I was on my phone at work and wanted to buy something on BitMit or send some quick BTC to a friend.

My username is bmoconno

I love that you're not taking a house edge on the raffles, I just wish they worked more like a lottery instead of people buying all their own raffle tickets to get the odds they want.  Still, awesome site!

372  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASICMiner Backplane Questions. on: November 02, 2013, 11:00:39 PM
Found a picture of a 10 Blade setup on a backplane, seems like each blade requires it's own ethernet cable to be run to it.

Answer added to OP, incase anyone else has similar questions.

Edit:  Added additional question about ethernet setup.

375  Bitcoin / Hardware / ASICMiner Backplane Questions. on: November 01, 2013, 09:40:26 PM
I've searched around, but I'm not having a huge amount of success with answering some of these questions.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

NOTE:  All questions pertain to Version 2 Blades/Backplane.

  • 1)  Can any PSU that uses the same Proliant ML350 ML370 and DL380 G5 Server connections be used with a backplane?

  • 2)  What's the draw per blade?  I've read as little as 60w and as high as 90w from various sources.  Conventional wisdom says 32x2.5w=80w, but that doesn't leave headroom for the other hardware on the board.

  • 3)  I've read that using an ATX power supply is compatible, but I haven't seen exactly how to connect one.  Will I be able to make my own molex to feed the backplane?

  • 4)  Are there any molex or other ports on the backplane that allow for the connection of fans?

  • 5)  What does the bottom of the backplane look like?  Are there solder points/connection exposed?  Does this need to sit on a non-conductive surface?

  • 6)  Q:  Do I need to run ethernet to each blade? or just one to the backplane?
A:  Each blade needs it's own ethernet cable ran to it.

Thanks for your time and information!

Also, I'll have the 49 port hubs available on Monday.  they will be included with orders of 50 USBs.

Excellent news!  A few questions...

How big are these things?

How will it affect shipping prices?

If I order 100 do I get two Hubs, or is it one per person/order?

Can I "pre-order" in the sense that I place an order for 50 USB and you hold off on sending them until you get the hub?  Or possibly send them right away and send the hub once that's available?

Thanks!

I expected that someone would have solved it by now.  Smiley

Someone did already...?

I made my guess, I'm thinking it's basically my most favorite game of all time... and it's not.  But that doesn't make Transport Tycoon any less of an amazing game.  Grin

Also not Locomotion... I don't see how it's not a Chris Sawyer game, I know I've seen those damned trees at least a million times!  Huh

Thanks for sharing this, dserrano5, I'd followed an Ars Technia writer's progress with testing Soylent and I thought it was a marvelous idea.  I'm even more behind it now that I know they are embracing BTC!  Once I get my hands on some more BTC, I'll be sure to order at least the 1 week package.
