361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] Sharpe Capital - Sentiment Crowdsourcing & Financial Markets Protocol on: November 16, 2017, 05:28:21 AM
People should not be forced to keep continue under extended situation. There should be option for those who wants to quit at this stage to be calculated at old percentage and those want to carry on participation should be treated under new percentage. There should be choice for everyone as till February is too long for many people.

I agree, every campaign which gets significally extended offers to people the possibility to step down and to keep the earned stakes. People commit to a project based on initial conditions, if they change people should be able to change their plans too.

This is terrible news Sad

A hard fork will hurt Ethereum's credibility, but not doing anything will also reflect bad on Ethereum, because it would make the funds people invested in ICOs like Polkadot and Live Stars inaccessible forever.

Not sure if that's true, if investing ETH means that your money can be saved in case of this kind of disaster, people see it as a safer option then other services.

This is a quite controversial issue. Because it also would mean that no transaction is 100% sure. The only possible moment for doing the fork would have been immediately after the disaster, IMHO, now I guess it is technically too late, too many transactions happened afterwards.
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't fall for the Bitcoin Cash Pump!! on: November 16, 2017, 05:20:02 AM
As we have been forecasting, the dump has followed the pump, even though it has been a quite smooth dump and it is not over yet.
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jesus Coin? on: November 16, 2017, 05:18:29 AM
I believe that it is an absolute sacrilege to call a coin the name of Jesus? Honestly, it can end badly for the organizers, make money on this. This is immoral and unprincipled.

Making money on the name of Jesus is indeed a quite controversial activity, especially as the catholic church, the protestant church etc etc have been doing it for so much time.
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any advice for a newbie? on: November 10, 2017, 10:16:26 PM
Since you have very little money and no experience, my advise is to spend a lot of time in the forum reading and trying to learn, and once you become a Junior Member after a month or so perhaps start to earn some money as a bounty hunter.
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jesus Coin? on: November 10, 2017, 10:11:02 PM
Jesus Coin is limited in its appeal! The majority of the world follows a religion other than Christianity and the centralized nature of the Catholic church has proven to be a problem throughout its history. The crusades, molestation scandals, and tax evasion are all things that happen under the church.

I have consulted with major deities and have concluded that we must decentralize religion and spirituality forever! http://pietycoin.net/

Is this other project for real? LoL. However beware from the imitations, Jesuscoin remains the top choice for the moment Smiley
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining on Mobile Phone on: November 10, 2017, 10:07:11 PM
I guess this could be the future, since less and less people use a computer and more an more people use smartphones and they become more and more powerful.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Russian hacker ICO — your opinion on: November 10, 2017, 10:05:47 PM
What is the difference between this so called hacker ICO and a more common hackatlon? Seems to me basically the same thing.
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't fall for the Bitcoin Cash Pump!! on: November 10, 2017, 10:00:37 PM
This is a real pump and dump scheme, we have already seen  one in the aftermath of the fork, the price will crash again at some point.

This Parity accident is very bad indeed. After the first fail of Parity it was a red flag, now I think Parity is doomed. I hope you can recover your funds.

There is no indication on the opening page every how much time we should submit our facebook posts on the provided form. No indication in the form either...
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I was that guy...Centra ICO PHishing scam on: November 08, 2017, 11:34:03 PM
I am surprised too, the perspective coin was, I read that else haven't paid some for subscription and if haven't paid for ICO that something here not so, write where it is only possible, they I think will pay, they conduct a branch therefore not to skam

I wish I would understand what you have written, but after reading it three times I have given up.

I say that still haven't paid not all people for subscription and if you were a participant of ICO and haven't paid you your shares, it is necessary to write to all branches and to managers

Yeah, but if they are scammers they wouldn't answer, would they? They didn't even pay a lot of bounty hunters, that's a very scammy mindset.
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]⭐LIVE STARS ⭐ Revolutionizing Live Adult Entertainment on: November 08, 2017, 11:27:04 PM

Yes Rasputin Online does have a large mansion/broadcast studio with up to 90 models living inside the mansion which is broadcast live in HD24/7 however Rasputin Online will also have models, couples, groups streaming live to our platform from their own locations or homes. Our expansion plans include a second mansion/studio based in South East Asia. Our Virtual girlfriend product which is a first in the Adult Entertainment industry will utilise models that live in our broadcast studio only.  We wish the Livestars project all the best, their token seems to be the only currency that can be used on their platform which could be an advantage to investors, it will certainly help give value to their token once their project is up and running and for this reason we will be buying some of their tokens as well Smiley

I didn't know about this other feature of Rasputin. This changes the things a bit, or a bit more. I hope and I think that both of the project will thrive, and actually they would both take advantage of each others success, since this would help to set a standard of reference for the whole industry.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Ethereum so special? on: November 08, 2017, 11:23:39 PM

Vitalik did not 'Invent' Smart Contracts. Nick Szabo first coded them in 1996, Vitalik just slapped his code on the blockchain.

http://www.fon.hum.uva.nl/rob/Courses/InformationInSpeech/CDROM/Literature/LOTwinterschool2006/szabo.best.vwh.net/smart_contracts_2.html

There's a reason Satoshi never introduced smart-contracts onto the Bitcoin Blockchain, it causes ridiculous bloat and unusability.

Ethereum can't even handle ICO launches without practically grinding to a halt, and its barely been in use for 2 years, and that's without any popular 'dapps'.

Within another 2 years it will utterly unusable.

This is a very useful contribute. I didn't know that fact. And I agree that within two years Ethereum as it is now will become unusable.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think IOTA can take over bitcoin? on: November 01, 2017, 11:25:25 PM
Iota is too centralized to have any sustainable future. I think Byteball could have a better chance with similar technology.
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Ethereum so special? on: November 01, 2017, 11:24:02 PM
Ethereum has the advantage of the first mover, having introduced smart contracts. But now more and more platform will appear ad improve their model. Some are already on stage and gaining attention.
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]⭐LIVE STARS ⭐ Revolutionizing Live Adult Entertainment on: November 01, 2017, 11:22:06 PM
I think the Rasputin Online ICO is livestars but with much more to offe, livecam, big brother house, VR and virtual girlfriends + there was a bunch more stuff. they did also have a live demonstration studio broadcasting for their ICO which maybe you guys could consider for your ICO.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2048747.new#new

I already compared them. I can assure you that Live Stars aims on more wider range and their business model has much more chances to success instead of Rasputin. Thousands of international girls online instead of living girls in studio house. Think about business model. Rasputin has much more costs. Pay for seeing her one day in a shower? Or pay to girl who has private talk with you? Rasputin has to pay their girls for living in their house and building additional expensive house building when their business is not even started/proven? Think about it. Better for me to choose project which can be successful in long term.

Yes, that's true. Rasputin sounds so cool but in the end it's all happening in their mansion, which cannot grow very much. Live Stars is a scalable project, it could take over the whole world of webchats, and get millions of performers on the platform. Rasputin cannot get millions of performers.

379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [GUIDE] How To Make Your Own Tokens At Stellar Network on: November 01, 2017, 02:16:19 AM
This is a VERY good guide, thank you for sharing that. I have heard very good things about Stellar. Time to make my own research, and this guide will help.
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - Asynchronous Smart Contract Platform - (Dan Larimer of Bitshares/Steem) on: November 01, 2017, 02:12:24 AM
That could mean that $0.50 per token is quite a steal  Roll Eyes

It seems a lot has been going on behind the thick black veil of  stretched long play ICO mechanism. I say: Bring It On!

The price will keep going down because there is still 500M tokens will be released in the future, the price will be half of current price, maybe we will see ATL at 0.1-0.2 usd in the long term.

Yes, there have been many speculations on when will be the best moment to buy, after supposedly it will have done all its path downwards. Of course, there are different opinions on that.
