361  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which Trading Exchange Platform Has Never Been Hacked ? on: May 25, 2020, 07:30:52 PM
Never been hacked exchange sounds good right, But I also like those exchanges that have been hacked but they have reimbursed the hacked amount to user's accounts. There is no perfect security but I like the Genuity of some exchanges when bad things happen some exchanges like Binance have insurance fund and they can easily reimburse any loss amount I heard they been hacked about 7000 BTC before. Some small exchanges that are experiencing it most likely going to shutdown.
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The return of ICOs on: May 25, 2020, 06:37:33 PM
I don't think so, ICO days are gone investors are not interested on ICO's anymore which majority of them are scam now. But I don't close my door on ICO's. Maybe if something big will happen like SEC list of approve projects that are verified and real, It can trigger some hype and trust. But as of now, I don't think that will happen  Cheesy regulations are very strict on ICO, in fact, some countries are banning it. Last ICO boom was bullrun is 2017, Maybe if there is another bullrun? But I am not confident that ICO will be back even if there is a bullrun.
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hello everyone! Do you still have confidence in altcoin? on: May 25, 2020, 05:13:34 PM
Of course, As always, Bitcoin alone is like an island, Altcoins gives color to blockchain technology. Some Altcoins are really good in terms of technology compared to bitcoin and that is a fact, some altcoins are faster, cheaper fees but they cannot beat bitcoin which has community trust. But some altcoin is gaining people trust slowly like BNB they are pretty decent and owned by most trusted exchange right now binance it is just an example do your own research.
364  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you cope with missing easy money making opportunity? on: May 25, 2020, 04:32:49 PM
I was in almost the same situation before but mine was harder, The token I invested pump to $20 missed the chance to sell at those prices I was hoping it will pump more, but it went down to $10 but still, it is a profit for me, I didn't sell, Until the projects were inactive and in 1 day the price goes to the bottom. What a turn of events I believe in that project but it fails me, I was a newbie at that time. The lesson is if the profit is there grab the opportunity don't wait for bigger, profit is profit. Also, don't just invest on random projects with no output, just plans, and promises that do not come true. I prefer a reputable coin which has low risk.
365  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to Differentiate Between Trader and Investor on: May 25, 2020, 03:47:04 PM
For me, Investor is a broad field, there are investors of a site (like gambling site) and receive a share, Also investors in IEO, Investors in cryptocurrency which are aiming for a long term period. That is my definition of Investor. Traders are market players, They can earn even in Bear and obviously in the Bull market. They focus on technical analysis also the project's development and news. A regular trader I guess is always watching the market especially day trader which is keeping them very occupied, while if you are just an investor you can sit and relax.
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: TRUSTED PROJECT BOUNTY OR JUST SCAM ? on: May 25, 2020, 03:13:31 PM
Look for facts, that is how you determine a project with potential, this year projects that started from scratch with no fund at all, I can say they have no future unless they have private investors. Because tokensale is not attractive to investors anymore unless they can launch an IEO on binance and other top exchange.  There are some trusted managers like yahoo62278 and Hhampuz but they are rarely doing social media bounties they focus on BTC paid signature campaign. I guess they have tight verification on projects they have managed. I have joined several of their campaigns before and it is worth it but there are some inactive projects they manage. Some managers accept any projects because they are paid in Fiat or BTC, ETH  they don't care even if it is suspicious be careful with it.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solution to too many promoters on: May 24, 2020, 04:20:32 PM
Yes, That's is a good idea to suggest in bounty managers I came up with the same idea a long time ago. But you know what they don't care as long as there is qualified participant they will accept it. Because it is on their advantage, many promoters many audiences it will reach out. So that is why they are not limiting it, I guess they are few bounties that have a limit but in majority most of them are no limits on participants which is not really worth joining. Doing bounty now is not really worth it especially those social media bounties.
368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Underground Casinos Is it Happening? on: May 24, 2020, 03:09:55 PM
I guess so, Human is known for disobedience they will always find a way, I saw a thread here in gambling he witness it himself some casinos are open in their country for some reason. And for sure there are casinos haven't known in public just in shadows or just operating underground. Here in my country, I heard the news some people are caught playing some cards (Maybe poker) inside a house maybe they are bored or they really missed gambling even if they risk their lives.
369  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The low risky way to hold Bitcoin. Buy Bitcoin now, i can't wait anymore on: May 24, 2020, 01:54:01 PM
Even without those big investors, Bitcoin is still the safest asset in cryptocurrency but yeah those big investors will help and encourage some individuals and other companies to invest in bitcoin. Why transfer from Binance to deribit when Binance has already futures trading? What features does deribit have? I am not familiar with that platform. Futures trading is risky Even you set stop loss, you will still lose if the market does not go to your analysis. I prefer Spot trading for now.  Cheesy
370  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I want to know on: May 24, 2020, 12:40:46 PM
From your reply post I got a lot of ideas about cryptocurrency. Thank you all.
i love my cryptocurrency.
I am just curious did someone referred you here? Welcome and enjoy your stay, As what I have understood from your post, You are talking about work, so basically you're trying to earn money. Well, you can earn a decent amount if you have some computer base skills that can be used to cryptocurrency. Like programming, building a website, Graphics services, etc. Those are the common needs of projects. But before you proceed on that, better learn what is a cryptocurrency first, how does it works, learn the history of crypto I guess you can start from that. Cryptocurrency is very broad it can be applied and used in many ways
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of lying project team on: May 24, 2020, 11:47:47 AM
That is a common trick by scammers, I have encountered a lot since 2017. You will notice it especially if they have an announcement on twitter or facebook. With that announcement, they are not tagging the said exchange itself and it slightly confirms that it is fake. Some projects also posted a fake exchange listing announcement while having an ICO before and after a day they deleted their announcement saying it is cancelled, It is clear that their intension is to attract users to invest in their project be careful guys they still exist now.
372  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Coinbase problem on: May 22, 2020, 05:37:57 PM
Looks like you needed a memo with them (checking them from my end) and since you don't have one they now want to prove you own the address by sending another 15 to them?

I'd say do it if you're sure it's the coinbase.com site, you can deposit with the address and double check it on the app to make sure it's right before sending it but be sure to send from the same address and include a memo.

I’m pretty sure

As u can see it is verifyed page and this is the email address

help@coinbase.com

Congrats on getting back your stellar, I guess requiring to send another 15 is just a verification that you truly own the wallet. Anyways, Your image here contains sensitive information like email, You might be a target of possible phishing and hacks, don't just post info like that anywhere, better remove it right away, and to those members that quote it please remove it too. Scammers are everywhere always be careful.
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: McAfee Introduce a new privacy coin on: May 22, 2020, 02:26:16 PM
McAfee is just an advisor of ESH and maybe in Ghost too I don't believe in advisors now, So many members in telegram accusing ESH as a scam for some reason it dumps from $2 to $1 suddenly, does the team sell some tokens? We don't know that but still, It is very suspicious. Be careful of fake promises, Some promises and plans do not come true at stays promises forever. With these techniques they will encourage users to buy ESH to receive their new token called GHOST, it is a win-win situation for them it feels like they are creating money out of thin air. Be careful if you are trying to buy this token.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best method to buy Bitcoin with card with low or no fees? on: May 19, 2020, 09:18:33 PM
As far as I know, Binance waive fees on crypto purchases using cards amid this covid crisis, Also, Crypto .com waived off 3.5% credit or debit card fee But it is not permanent they only waive fees because of this crisis just like Binance. It is your chance now to purchase, most platforms is offering the same just find the best platforms that suit you and you are comfortable with, I suggest a reputable platform for your safety.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is IEO not becoming to be worst than ICO, any future for bounty hunters? on: May 19, 2020, 08:36:58 PM
Probit is a shady exchange, almost all projects that launch an IEO there is 90 percent dump and that exchange has many bots and fake volume. Only few projects that launch an IEO on top exchanges have bounty like Cartesi and Harmony they have an IEO on Binance. So most of the bounties are not really worth it because only few of them can launch an IEO on a reputable exchange. IEO on sh*t exchange does not make sense and no effect at all. I guess it is a good thing no sh*tcoin will be added on the market only genuine projects will succeed and remain.
376  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your Best trading platform is? on: May 19, 2020, 07:32:57 PM
In terms of volume, the number of markets and available coins/tokens binance is really on top, but I guess there is only one reason why some users prefer Coinbase because in their platform you can cashin or withdraw your crypto directly on banks but I guess only in selected countries. It is very convenient for users. Binance that does not have that feature yet, Yes we can buy crypto with credit cards but we cannot withdraw directly on banks.
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The list of bounty projects that end in a scam on: May 19, 2020, 06:40:01 PM
There are so many projects here on Bitcointalk that turned scam and abandon projects. I guess 90 percent of the bounties here on Bitcointalk is not really good and have no future at all. Some members here made a list, some of it has a bounty and some does not have but it is important to know which projects are scam. Here are the threads, there is a huge list thanks for these guys for compiling it.

378  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Warning on phishing] Hackers are too active in these lockdown times on: May 19, 2020, 05:51:28 PM
You can also directly report that within your gmail, report spam and blocked. These scammers are persistent they are trying their best to fool us, so in terms of the wallet we need to be careful about clicking links, you made the right decision for checking the email contact. Next time, use a separate email just for your wallet only don't use the same email that you register with some site or join some bounty, airdrop, and giveaways, etc. Luckily in my case, I don't receive any spam/phishing links because I have an email that is only intended for wallets.
379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why there is no Standard Marketplace like Amazon with BTC as payment method?? on: May 19, 2020, 05:16:54 PM
First, Amazon is an American company, Do you think at this moment that Bitcoin is fully accepted and legalized in the US? not right? That is the main reason why big companies are not embracing bitcoin at the moment, because of the government and its rules and regulations. Have you heard about libra it is a cryptocurrency, it's on trial because of government intervention and they are halting the adoption I don't know why maybe they are afraid that they cannot control bitcoin or for some reasons.
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchanges Combined by IEOs performance on: May 19, 2020, 03:44:41 PM
Great graphics by cryptorank but since the market is very volatile maybe those numbers on the images are already changing now but a great effort on compiling that info. Maybe a website with API to each exchange is better it will be updated automatically based on the changes in market price. I can see that binance is leading and it is pretty obvious I guess they are the one who makes these IEO popular correct me if I am wrong and they have only few projects with below IEO price too.
