361  Economy / Economics / Re: Save money today so money would save you tomorrow. on: February 19, 2024, 08:27:51 AM
I wasn't really a saving type, but lately looking at the current situation of things in my country, how costly things have gotten, once money enters your account or wallet, you'll be suprised of how you won't be sure of how it vanished, not to talk of having a tangible reason of what you did with the money. So recently looking at how people cry for money and personally looking at how I needed money I decided to start splitting the little allowance I get, saving one part and using the other, I won’t really say that it has made me a billionaire or that I no longer lack money but at least I have cash somewhere that I could call my own and fall back to in cause of emergency.
To cut the story short, I’m advising mostly the young people of our generation to save, avoid unnecessary spendings and save even if it’s so little, cause you might find yourself in a situation tomorrow and you wouldn’t want to call home or ask for help, cause you have a second choice, that means you are literally getting yourself out of a problem. So please it’s not too late to stop spending on things that doesn’t really matter, so basically the money you saved today could literally save you tomorrow.

What important is to learn how you are going to manage your finances, this is the thing that I learned that made me realize how important knowledge in finances is, I mean our education doesn't really have something that is going to help us learn to be a financial literate it almost like they don't want us to know this kind of things, wanted us to be working that is working 8-5 daily and then spend our money on something that we can't really afford offering us like credit cards, etc.

It is actually really easy just save a huge amount of your money instead of probably 20% up to 40% of your salary or your sources of income, the higher you save or invest the better it is going to be, with the trick don't buy anything that you don't really afford, if your card buys a phone just don't buy it yet, consider if you could recover from for example like 100$ your spending it on something if your salary is about 1000$ it is probably just a small percentage and you could easily recover from what you spend, But if you're going to spend around 1000$ on just one thing which is already your whole salary it is probably something that you need to think about first since you cant really afford it, or probably your just end up using a credit card which is the main problem that could make it difficult when it comes to your financial.
362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos team identity on: February 19, 2024, 07:16:26 AM
The identity of a casino's team is something we rarely across in our forum even though we have like hundreds of announcement topics in this section, promoting services, gambling games and tournaments. This act typically comes around professionalism and hospitality to provide a special customer service. Showing friendliness.and deep understanding of the games offered. Team members may also be a comfortable addition to players here.

Till this day I didn't see any casino revealing the identity of their team, owners, employers and responsibles of the casino even though players are required to pass a KYC process for their identity, so I'm wondering have you ever thought about this too? and the reasons why most casinos are not doing this process?

I mean they don't usually do this on physical casinos and even on gambling website casinos like some other cryptocurrency projects where they show full transparency on their team showing the founders, developers, etc. For sure there are shady things happening in the background most of the time that they don't really want us to know, probably for security they will not show this kind of information to the public. Probably employees are probably just from other countries that is just hired for online work.

It wouldn't really matter I guess as long as they have great services on the casino or on the gambling website as long as they are doing the job, and everyone can play on it with minimal issues it is already good to go in my opinion. Personally, I would play on a gambling casino website as long as it is trusted and the team doesn't really matter, I also want to try other gambling websites as long as it is not rigs or scams.
363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you stand to gain from the bull run. on: February 18, 2024, 11:10:04 PM
There was no other way around it for sure the best way was just to buy when the market was still calm when the market price drop probably we've seen the market price drop when the price is around 15k$- 25k$ which is probably the best time to be aggressive on your Dollar Cost Averaging or probably if possible buy a huge chunk of Bitcoin at that time, that is the only way to position yourself in the coming bull run and there was no way around it, If your able to position yourself that time you could easily guaranteed a profit in the coming Bullrun since you have a lot of room and leverage, you could easily HODL even the market price drop which is for sure going to be expected in the coming of the Bitcoin halving.

If you're already late in the spike of the market the best thing that you could do is just use the Dollar Cost Average to just lower your risk on your investment, it is still going to be a guaranteed profit as long as you're going to sell on the top but doesnt that huge of a reward compared when you invest at the bottom.
364  Other / Meta / Re: BCT vs BTT abbreviation for this forum on: February 18, 2024, 10:18:28 PM
I mean there was no abbreviation that is actually announced right so we could use both of it for sure BCT and BTT are both okay to use and most of us are going to easily understand it.

Personally, I've used BCT more compared to BTT when referring here on the forum, even to my friends but sometimes I say BCT-talk just to make it clear when they dont get it easily, just to make this clear that I'm referring to this forum.

I would probably prefer to have something an official one that has TALK in the end something like BCT-talk or maybe we could just put a forum in the end. I mean BCT could easily be mistaken for BTC it just happened to me when I first saw it.

I've seen a lot of suggestions here in the comments, what is the better abbreviation but for sure it still depends on the one that using it, I mean if it wasn't right, you could totally call the Bitcoin talk forum whatever you wanted to. It's probably going to be difficult to correct all of those people since there was no right or wrong here even though the abbreviation doesnt look right.

365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Knowing when to own your bitcoin on: February 18, 2024, 09:47:31 PM
It is surely a good thing that you buy at that market price, I also buy some when the price is around 20k$ but I more like Dollar Cost averaging so I still continue to accumulate Bitcoin, but I know that the market price is high at that time so I mostly increase my buying power at that market price, and so far the return is great, profit is kicking at 50k$ I was still hoping that the market price could drop which I think still going to happen so I decrease my buying power right now since the market price continue to increase its market price, Its not really a good time to buy if the market price continues to skyrocket, because for sure this could easily be a huge bubble, still doesnt want to continue to stop buying because its DCA, but at the same time doesnt want to buy high volume because of I dont really want to be FOMO.

Timing is really a thing here in Bitcoin if you know when to buy it is surely going to be a huge profit other than just investing out of FOMO right now since we are seeing the market skyrocket for sure a lot of beginners wanted to invest and take a profit which is really risk, when you bought at the bottom you could easily hold for a long time.

366  Economy / Economics / Re: Surviving the economy with creative thinking. on: February 18, 2024, 02:21:23 PM
It has come to a point where humans can’t just seat and watch things happen for themselves. As humans leaving in this kind of economy where things are not getting easier, we have to employ the art of creative thinking skills. It is clearly seen that to survive in today’s world. You must be creative in your thinking. The world is a global village that is changing rapidly. Humans must be innovative in their ideas and should produce different techniques. Which can be implemented in order to develop commodities and create a competitive edge.this is to say creative thinking plays a prominent role in today’s world.

I mean surviving the economy surely is a difficult thing with this kind of government its really difficult for most people to survive or probably able to achieve some kind of financial freedom so that we are going to be able to live a good life in the economy, as we can see the system is really broken with the inflation keep on hitting most of the people are just slaves and system are just design probably 8 pm-5 pm jobs working on there whole life, where study shows that it is now really possible to be rich by just working on your full-time job with a minimum salary.

What we really need is a creative mind where we are going to keep on learning and advancing, trying new things that are going to give us more chances to fight and survive the economy, learning how to start a business, learning how we are going to handle money, being financially literate is one of the most important things that I learn and with that, I'm able to be better at this thing and keep on creating ways how I'm going to be able to create multiple sources of income.

What is important is we keep on adapting, we keep on learning, we keep on being creative, dont just settle for less because that is just what they really wanted for you, just to work and then encourage you to spend your money on things that you dont really need or things that you can't really afford.
367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you stick to some Casinos or do you try out new ones? on: February 18, 2024, 08:16:17 AM
I was discussing with a friend yesterday about the choice of Casinos and the great incentives that comes with trying out these new legitimate platforms. He told me bluntly that he doesn't try out new platforms because  it will make him gamble more and will waste his time trying to understand their UI, terms and conditions and their support system. He stressed that he has already developed fondness with a few sites that treats him fine and he even has their support hot lines in case of any issues.
I challenged him that there were exciting offers in these new casinos that he's missing out on but he stressed that he was not interested in their offers, he has already built his gambling life around these few casinos and until they disappoint him, he's sold out to them.

what do you think?. Do you believe he is right with the rigid approach to gambling?,  also should I continue convincing him  to try out something new and enjoy these great offers?.

You could totally stay to the casino or gambling website that you really trust the most for sure, but for sure there are times that you're gonna get bored just playing on one casino so it's not really a bad thing to find a new one of course with the help of research you're still going to legit check it just the same thing and probably play low bets just to try how the experience on it, or probably research about a new gambling website that you would like to try I mean there are tons of gambling website in the internet and even here in the forum there are quite a few trusted gambling website, most of them are already trusted here for a long time, but still we still try some new casino here just to have some fun but if you have a favorite website you're still going to go back there every time you get bored with the new one right.

Also, not every casino is the same there are still some games that you can't really play on the other one so it will still depend on your preference in the end or what's your favorite one, it doesnt really matter really as long as your picking a legitimate one, not a scam or phishing website, or some rig casino out there.
368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have a "gambling problem" which you can sometimes control for years? on: February 18, 2024, 07:06:49 AM
No not really I dont really gamble a lot, I just game for entertainment and past time most of the time if I just have extra money I want to have some fun and test my luck, probably see if I'm going to to be lucky and win some money on gambling but doesnt really have some kind of problems with gambling.

I mean if you cant stop your gambling if you think that you are having problems already that just means that you are not a gambling addict, meaning you know your limitations and you still have complete control over your gambling, if you're going to ask me I just gonna stop gambling and do some other things learn new skills probably or do something that I love.

If you can stop your gambling for sure you're a gambling addict already, even gambling addicts want to stop their gambling but they just can't it is for sure going to be a long process, probably you could just slowly remove your gambling habits until you dont play anymore, also it's gonna need to change your mindset and have the discipline on yourself, if you dont really want to stop gambling it is just going to be impossible, it just need to start on yourself, still, the best advice is just to seek professionals.
369  Economy / Economics / Re: Step up your game before the game steps you down. on: February 17, 2024, 08:05:01 PM
If only we know how bad the economy is degrading globally, we would want to push ourselves to our limit and focus on that our skill or business. Taking it up to the next level. Some persons are still skeptical about the business they own, while some are waiting for the opportunities, they were promised to them by friends or relative and others are comfortable because they have rich people around them that if they place a call, they will answer them.

As the economy is getting worst it is difficult for a responsible adult to go to bed without planning on how to grow his business or how to attract new customers, not just new though but potential customers and business partners that will have big influence in his business. Time waits for no man. Yes, the life is filled with ups and down, but we won't stop trying so that we can have that impact on the existence of man just like how other nerds have done.

I mean there was no other way around it if you want to get rich you're gonna need to start a business at some point it would depend on you but mostly sales is the best business that you could start easily. Also, not just business skills I would suggest also learning financial literacy because as I learn about it I realize a lot of things and that is when I change my mindset about money, how I am going to save and invest my money, etc. In my opinion, it is learning how we are going to manage our money is one of the most important things so that we know what we are going to do, most of the systems are really broken and its already set up for you like to spend, banks, etc wanted you to spend your money, use their credit cards, etc just to persuade you to spend your money and if you're not careful you're going to fall in the there trap, but if you know what is going on you could avoid this thing and only buy what you needed or only buy what you can afford not buying what you can't and dont need as well.

370  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Makakatulong ba ang Charter Change Para Sa Adoption Ng Cryptocurrency on: February 17, 2024, 06:56:03 PM

371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: February 17, 2024, 05:48:24 PM
Good for you then, I mean most of us probably should quit gambling not really completely for sure but at least just gamble moderately and of course responsibly is already enough I guess, as long as you dont really play where it is excessive it is still a good past time for some and might as well entertainment for people. I dont really gamble a lot but I really think that gamble doesnt really do anything that is good, for sure you could really earn a huge amount if you are really lucky but it would just make you an addict if you get deep into gambling to the point where you are already playing just to win the game and earn money that is when it gets out of control for sure people because you are starting to put money and money on it because you expecting to win already which could be a bad thing leading you to risk more and more money that should not be a risk, or probably just making wrong decisions instead of just investing it and putting it to a much better investment than gambling.

In the first place, we should not treat gambling as a source of income, it already discusses multiple times, that gambling has a really big risk, and putting money on it could easily destroy you, let's just say that it is difficult to make a consistent source of income on it because winning has a concept of luck, so it is almost impossible to always win, at some point your going to lose the game, or probably going to lose more often than winning.
372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Making informed decisions is our responsibility on: February 17, 2024, 04:18:04 PM
One thign I am sure that we cannot neglect as crypto enthusiast is the our need to continually be informed and make good decisions, to be a part of a fast growing and information based space like ours(crypto space) does come with a responsibility that all of us must bear for ourselves and that is to seek knowledge.

As members of this community, relying on our past information would be very shortsighted of us especially when
Scammers are continually looking for new ways to compromise our security and get to us, sudden news can happen that can throw traders off balance or even make us holders to miss out on opportunities to buy cause we were ill informed. Just one wrong move, like clicking on a malicious link or ignoring critical news, can have very negative consequences. Also, the right information can lead to significant gains or safeguard your holdings.

It Is important and for our own good that we dopt a culture of continuous learning and upgrading our selves, by staying informed we would not only protect ourselves, but also increase our chances of success, there are countless reasons why making informed decision is good, but action on this solely is our responsibility and only we can make those decisions for ourselves, yes indeed the community is here to help you, but at times before you know it your already and victim. knowledge is power, and it's up to us to harness it for our benefit.

For sure, I get your point here and that is also what I tell on the local board for new traders, Bitcoin and cryptocurrency surely have a lot of scammers, hackers, etc. that are going to do anything just to get our funds on our wallet. We already know that technology continues to grow over time and that just means that we need to keep on learning as well to keep up with the technology, that just means that hackers and bad guys use new methods as well in order to hack or scam people were we need to learn as well in order to prevent it from happening. It's a good thing that we have this forum since we share a lot of information including methods of how the scammers scam people as well, if we are aware of how they do it it would be difficult for them to scam us, or probably they will not be able to do it. Still, we need to be careful all of the time because there are new ways that they might do what we doesnt know yet.

I mean they probably not going to stop since for sure they are earning a huge amount scamming people what we can only do is protect ourselves if we all know how we are going to protect ourselves there are no people that are going to get hacked or scam, and these bad people are not going to get anything from us.
373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do people truly risk their money on bets for profit? on: February 17, 2024, 01:56:03 PM
I came across a recent topic where the op was saying over 80% of gamblers gamble to make money and I had to have a dip thought on that and was curious as to know if there are possibilities that people gamble just for the sake of answering the name gambler?
Nearly eighty percentage of the gamblers are doing gambling for the money making.
From my opinion, I think there isn’t any need to stake or risk one’s money on a game simply because you want to catch fun when you could simply not risk your money and still have fun while watching same game.
I don’t know if I’m really staying my points well but I wish to know if people really have to gamble without intentions of making money?

I mean for sure, a huge part of gambling is to make a profit for the most part, And we can't really call it gambling anymore if money is not involved so that just means that money is a part of gambling, and if we are going to involved or risk money in gambling that just means that we are also expecting to earn a profit from it, you don't really want to risk your money without really expecting anything on return. It was just like throwing money anyway, any doesn't really going to make any sense right?

There are probably people who just gamble for entertainment but I think it wasn't like all for entertainment, It was because entertainment was the main goal but it doesnt mean that the gambler doesnt want to win some profit for sure, that just means that he just like to get entertain more than earning, There are times that I gamble just for entertainment I put up some amount like 30$ that I dont really care if I win or lose just for entertainment and make it interesting but if still who doesnt want to win and earn the reward.
374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to manage gambling winnings on: February 15, 2024, 03:59:29 PM
I mean that is a great strategy for sure keeping a small portion for sure is going to be great in the long run creating small interest as well could pay off through the years of investing. It is just like saving a portion of percentage of your salary and putting it investing it in Bitcoin or cryptocurrency so that it might make some profit or interest in the future.

But I just couldn't keep up, well congratulations if that is what you're doing to keep on making money on gambling, but I just can't imagine how you can keep up winning even though you could average it per year, for sure there might be some year where you actually lose some on your investment right? Or are you just great at gambling that you could keep up and keep on winning? Considering the tax it might be difficult to make some profit overall if you're not actually lucky, It is probably possible but there are only a few who are able to make a living on gambling, and huge loses as well could easily make you break.
375  Economy / Gambling / Re: What would you like to ask a crypto casino owner? on: February 15, 2024, 03:23:29 PM
Hi everyone!

I have arranged an interview with the owner of a crypto casino (I will not disclose the brand name yet).

I think the interview will be more interesting if I add questions that other gamblers are interested in to my questions.

So, if you would like to ask anything, drop your questions here.

It is probably more like myths or something that I always think about when I'm playing at a casino, For sure, a casino is still a business so in the end the owner or the casino still needs to make a profit right if the casino depends on luck at some point if players keep on winning isn't that going to make the casino bankrupt?

Can they easily rig the code of the games in the casino, something like every 10 plays there is one who is going to win something like that always came up in my mind.

How often does it happen that someone is able to be so lucky and continue to win in a casino, can someone actually make a living in a casino and keep on winning?

what are the percentage of the machines or games where the casino wins and the player loses because most of the time the player loses and the casino will take the bet.
376  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Aside from crypto ano pa pinagkakaabalahan nyo? (2) on: February 15, 2024, 06:51:51 AM

Or may balak kapa na magdiversify into the future proof assets?
About my crypto holdings naman future proof sya kaso paunti-unti lang sya.

So far kaya naman, pero syempre mayroong akong fulltime job as a video editor kaya hindi ako focus sa cryptocurrency or trading more on long term lang talaga at DCA lang din to accumulate lang ng Bitcoin for profit sa long term.

377  Economy / Economics / Re: Is increase in minimum wage a good method to fight inflation? on: February 15, 2024, 05:52:16 AM
Over time, I've heard discussions about inflation and the rising cost of goods and services across almost every sector on the world economy.
However, suggestions have been made in various ways on how best to tackle the menace called Inflation. Recently I have personally thought that one of the ways to fight inflation in an economy is to increase minimum wage. More so there has been a back and forth argument on these, as some persons argue that the increase in minimum wage will rise the bar on commodities, because they feel hence you increase the purchasing powers, it will have a multiplier effect on the economy which might be challenging.

So guys, is increase in minimum wage not a good measure to fight inflation. Let's have your opinion.

It's not really a good way to fight inflation, I mean it is being controlled by the government so we can't really fight inflation because the government is the one who just keeps on printing money whenever they want so if you use fiat money you surely going to get eaten by the inflation on your country because of the dumb system.

Increasing the minimum wage could be a good thing so that people are able to at least survive with the increasing price of their needs, but it wasn't really some kind of solution since inflation is still going to hit unless they could increase the salary to the point where it can go with the inflation at the same time, which is most likely not going to happen.

We cant really do anything about the inflation it is going to exist and we cant stop it, what we can do is just to do alternatives like putting our money on Gold, real estate, Bitcoin, etc. that is not like fiat money.
378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Difference between afford to lose and can't afford to lose. on: February 15, 2024, 05:30:43 AM
When you are depending on someone for assistance because you want to gamble it means that you are risking what you can not afford to lose. Why because you don't have the money to gamble but someone have to give it to you before you can stake.
But when you have jobs that pays you money so well and you are gambling it means you are risking what you can afford to lose. Why because ones you lose your job will give you another money.

However, many people would say even if you have jobs but you are staking higher it also means you are gambling with what you can not afford to lose. Moreover it's true and I have to dauth but I have a feeling that ones someone that have a good paying job is staking more than what he can afford to lose, there is no different between addiction there.

I mean I get your point there, its actually pretty easy you should not gamble, let's just say more than 10% of your earnings or your salary in your job that is I think the best way to do it, you could probably make it up to 40% if you want to risk it but for sure if you're going to put a high percentage of your salary just on gamble it would probably hurt for you and difficult to recover if you lose that money.

Saying only gamble what you can afford to lose just means to lower your risk of not putting so much money where you can't really afford your not be able to recover or probably take years for you to recover if you lose that money. Its just similar to investing on cryptocurrency its a risky thing to do don't put all of your money on it because its just too much of a risk, you could easily lose that if you lose a bet.

Can't afford to lose can also be money that is like a loan to someone which you can't really afford to lose that money since its a much higher risk and meaning your going to have negative money having loans.

Probably Bitcoin is not really gonna disappear that easily depending on the effect of the solar storm, is it going to affect all of the people in the world? I mean if it is only going to affect a part of the world where the internet is gonna disappear that just means that the internet is still running in some areas and Bitcoin is still going to operate, Probably depending on how long the effect of it as well, if we are going to see it for probably just weeks what will happen is were just gonna get a pause or freeze on the internet after that we could easily get back and running again when the Internet is restored.

I mean Bitcoin is not guaranteed that is going to exist since there are always risk holding it, after 5 years we dont really know if Bitcoin is still a thing, but also difficult to say that Bitcoin is going to disappear, I mean even though the Internet was gonna for a year, When the Internet is restored Bitcoin is still there existing Unless something happened where they able to erase the whole Bitcoin itself. Then the real discussion is what would happen to the market price if the apocalypse happened since Bitcoin is going to drop its market price to zero which has a very low chance of happening, I mean its already good as dead right. But still I dont even think that it is going to drop its price to zero even though there are some unexpected things happening like this solar storm, since there are already a lot of Bitcoin believers they would for sure see it as a big opportunity to invest every time the market price drops just a little percentage.

I opened a betting account today (don't have to mention) but when I bet on their virtual games, they don't have the kind of options I am expecting to see but only provides more like only 4 options which are home win, away win, draw and over. So I bet if I could win but luckily for me I won ×2 of what I deposited, then I withdrawed the funds and mailed them to block the account because I don't find anything suitable for my liken but they replied me saying they can't and I have to make use of the account until 90 days before they can block the account.
However, it's my money and they can't force me to use it, so they have to block the account. I see that the only way to stay away from the betting account is not to fund it again.
So can anyone force you to make use of what you don't dislike?

Are you able to withdraw the mother since you said that you withdrew the funds and then mailed them to block your account? If you already withdrew your funds then there was no problem with that for sure since you already withdrew your funds they are just saying that it would take 90 days before they can block your account, probably normal so you could think about it if you really wanted to block deactivate the account, I mean it's a gambling website you could make a lot of decisions base on your emotion so its probably there thing to have 90 days time.

There will be a problem if the gambling websites do not allow you to withdraw your money and then it would take 90days before you could withdraw it, at that time you could easily lose your money since that is probably what they wanted that is why they put 90days to hold your account first, That's a big red flag for sure, You should be able to deposit and withdraw your funds on the website at any time that you wanted. They just need 90 days for the account to be blocked then just dont play if you dont have a choice but after withdrawing the funds dont play on that website again.
