Can someone explain to me what one thing Litecoin does better than any other coin? I know what Ethereum does. It is the Undisputed King of Initial Coin Offerings. The days of rising tides raising all ships is over. The coins that will recover are the ones with a clear unique sales proposition.

The real reason that Governments hate cryptocurrency is it challenges their monopoly on the issuance of currency. You have to understand that Governments borrow money to meet current spending and then use inflation to diminish the value of the debt they must repay. Non-inflationary cryptocurrencies are a threat to that.

It is still very early and security token regulation is still evolving. The SEC has used the Howie Test to define just about every token issued as a security. When you say Security Token are you actually saying one that complied with Securities Regulation? Because that only means they spent money on a lawyer. It does not really give investors a better deal. What I am interested in is if the tokens give people the same rights as people who buy shares in a company. That really would be a game changer.

I agree with the main premise that you should be selective about which coins you choose. All coins are now trading at extremely low prices compared to what they have been but not all of them are going to rise again. Unlike 2017 when it did not really matter what coin you chose (as long as you avoided obvious scams) in 2019 I think it will be a coin pickers market and only those coins with actual products and actual use (trading does not count as use) are going to rise.

I would recommend buying up as much Ethereum as you possibly can. It is one of the few coins with a proven use case and is set to dominate the market for Security Token Offerings the same way it has dominated ICO's. With it trading below $100 it also makes a very affordable Christmas gift.
