361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Investor Psychology on: January 25, 2022, 09:20:42 AM
The problem of investors skipping to purchase bitcoin is fear, now Bitcoin is low in price and affordable to purchase in quantity size but investors backslide, i suggest that one of the reasons while they don't want to buy Bitcoin now due to they are expecting Bitcoin to decrease more to the extent of getting to twenty thousand ( 20k)..lol.at least by this period we to know that people like to be in to purchase bitcoin when the price is elevating, but when it decreases they became afraid to purchase, so what do  you think that might be cause.

It may very well be the cause they are not buying. So much fear that it's still going to drop, they have been sending their altcoins to convert to USDT. Users seem to be united in the discord channel in seeking help on what to do. 20k makes sense because there is a support line than the $35k.

I have some doubts already that Bukele has no crypto advisor, which he had been buying even when the market already started to plunge. There are many BTC investors in El Salvador, someone close to him should have told him to hold his horse.
This is to say that you understand that there are people out there that can really predict the market and say this will be the bottom of the market so hold on till the market gets to that level  Huh Investors will naturally buy dips as it occurs because we don't know for sure where the bottom is so if he has been buying and the market dips some more and you still have the means, you buy some more. Even people like Michael Saylor that have been in the space forever bought Bitcoin at a higher price than today's $36+ per BTC
362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will central bank digital currency (CBDC) make bitcoin worthless? on: January 25, 2022, 09:08:58 AM
You may be right, if America creates a digital dollar backed by real dollars, the process of converting bitcoin and cryptocurrencies into fiat will be much easier, but I expect that there will not be much change because the digital dollar will be like the original dollar will remain under the control of the central government and they can pump the number that They want it and this will lead to inflation and make it worthless in the end in addition to the fact that all transactions will be under the tight control of the government.
You said it right there. As long as it is not a Cryptocurrency, any other form of digital money or CBDC cannot really qualify as a cryptocurrency because these other digital assets are still under the control of the various Government that created them and I think this is one if not the major difference between them since cryptocurrencies are basically decentralized which any CBDC is not.
363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is important for a country? or not... on: January 25, 2022, 08:37:12 AM
Cryptocurrency is essential for the development of a country?
Does cryptocurrency play an effective role in the development of the country? Or does it hinder the development of the country and cause extreme damage to the country?
What do you think about this?
I don't think there is a clear cut to this so I think it is relative. Before the existence of crypto, countries were already striving in a good direction when we look at most developed countries, and even with the development of crypto, some countries are still finding it difficult to develop, crypto has not changed their situation. so, it can help a country if many people adopt it by way of trading or investment and probably not rely heavily on the government.
364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is really controlling the Bitcoin market. on: January 24, 2022, 02:04:05 PM
People always say that they are are waiting for the price of Bitcoin go down before they go into the market for trading and at the same time nobody can predict the market.
Yes most of us do this but I don't think that means they are or can predict the market. It is just hopeful wishing that the market should go down so that investors can gain more from their investment.

Now is the market been manipulated? Or it all depends on the numbers of investors who invested.
Manipulation cannot be ruled out. We do understand that there are big players in the market that can move the market and I believe so it is for other financial markets only this time, the crypto market is not regulated like the stock market so these whales can pretty much do what they want since they have the funds.
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't punic, just hodl on: January 24, 2022, 01:55:10 PM
The entire crypto market is falling again today, but is this the first time? Didn't it fall the same way in 2021 before the new ATH? And remember what was the level of greed and fear at $40,000 a year ago and now? I see this drop as an opportunity to buy fundamental tokens at a good price. I bought NEAR, Sol, Aurora, Harmony, Link, ADA.

Also a good reason to believe that this is just a correction is the fact that the largest venture capital funds continue to invest money into the market. For example, a month ago Three Arrows Capital bought 156K ETH, or just recently A16z, Alameda, Three Arrows Capital held another round of investment and invested $150M in NEAR Protocol, which indicates that serious guys like a16z and Alameda still believe in growth.
I want to believe that, whether we are still witnessing a correction or we are in a bear market as long as you have invested in the right projects, one thing is for sure that the market will recover and all of your losses will be recovered as long as you did not sell. I have learned this from previous years of bear markets so HODL on to your assets, be patient, and buy more if you have the funds.
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the meme coin still worth holding on: January 24, 2022, 01:50:42 PM
What's your reason for still holding the meme coin in your wallet, and when do you intend selling it all off to buy a more purposeful coin or token. Are you holding just because of the hype, or do you have any analysis be it technical or fundamental technique that is giving you a go ahead signal to hold more or the hype is doing the work for you.

That comment there just tells you that those meme coins do not have any purpose except hyping for profits and if you have invested in them, you should know that, that investment is the one you are prepared to forgo should that project refuse to grow so, know not to invest anything substantial on meme coins.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchanges for new altcoins on: January 24, 2022, 01:44:53 PM
hello everyone I would really appreciate your help.

I have launched my own ERC-20 token at the end of December. I am working on getting this token launched publicly. I would love to have some ideas of exchanges to list on. A lot of listing sites are charging $10,000 - $40,000 , I would love to list on some cheaper (but still good) sites to begin with. I am listed on coinsbit. I want to start getting this public and would love some advice/help.

Thank you for any input.
As usual, I would have thought you would want to tell us what your Token is all about instead of how to put it out for sales without promoting your project. We read here quite a bit how many new projects get launched every now and then and most of them don't have any usefulness in the ecosystem, I hope this is not one of them? You have gotten some suggestions/Ideas on where to start but I would still hope we see details of your project here too.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me thinking about this NFT craze this way? on: January 23, 2022, 04:25:57 PM
NFT will have a negative impact on crypto in future because this use case is really not needed, it has nothing to do with better money or making payments and now billions of money are been spent on them, the most confusing ones are art NFTs just for collection purpose only, why spend money on them
You are right. After I even saw the way you can easily make some of these NFTs from some pictures with some applications making them look like paintings, it all became even more not serious to me cos someone can just tune some picture into whatever and be sold for hundreds of cash. I have not really had much interest in NFTs even though I hear people making money but after what I saw, not interested.
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New meme coin? on: January 23, 2022, 04:07:05 PM
https://nextshib.com/ Do you think this coin has potential?
If someone is afraid to go to this suspicious site, then I have attached a screenshot.

I learned about NEXTSHIB from this review.
I just bought 1 million coins, but I don't know if I made the right decision...

Almost every day I see memecoins being created and you can see them on twitter, I don't understand why the Hype isn't over yet, there are no strong fundamentals on new memecoins, they are just copypaste from other projects and have high tax for every transaction, if you you have chosen, then you have done your research and I hope you the coins can be like shiba so you get a lot of benefits in the future
I don't really think that there is hype still for meme coins but as usual, some investors like the OP believes those are some investment you can make quick or huge profits from and they will continue to invest in them and it doesn't matter what people say here about meme coins not being a good option for investment, it is still a go-to for some hoping something good happens, well sometimes you might want to take a risk.
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Give me your vote on Citizen Finance token, HOLD / SELL ? on: January 22, 2022, 01:11:46 PM
never do hold citizen finance!!!

I see if the citizen finance team is a scammer, they pumped the price up and are now doing a dump.

the team also didn't pay 70% bounty reward, I think this is a bad thing. and every member who asks about the bounty in the telegram group will be banned. if you don't believe it, please ask about bounty payments in the telegram group. you will be banned and expelled from the hell group.

do you still believe in cifi tokens if the team is a scammer? withdraw your money from cifi and sell. better invest in other coins such as BNB, ETH, BITCOIN or others that are more reliable.
Whether they are the once pumping and dumping the price, I don't know about that because even the whole cryptocurrency market is down now but I do know that the Cifi teams are not coming through on their Bounty payment promise. It was supposed to be 10% weekly I believe once payments start but it has been months now and they have refused to pay the last 70% to hunters and that's a red Flag for me. If you ask, you get Banned and the BM is kinda helpless in the situation. I take it as a loss if it never comes thru.
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cold feet on: January 22, 2022, 08:57:59 AM
My cryptofolio is down 1/3+  Cry I officially understand the principle of not reacting emotionally. How have others kept their wits during downswings like this?
If you have studied the market from previous years since the beginning of Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market, you would notice that, whether it takes years of Bear crypto market, it will always recover and even go past your previously buy position. I understand how most traders/investors want to take advantage of selling and buying back when the market has further dipped, but this can also lead to losses because you might be selling just when the market is about to recover, so just HODLing through it also pays but I understand the difficulty seeing your portfolio losing -50% sometimes.
372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Basic Bitcoin skills on: January 22, 2022, 08:52:22 AM
The title should be how to make bitcoin without buying it.

Anyways, I don't think you need Basic bitcoin skills there are people who started using bitcoin and they built their experience bar through that, There are various articles as to what Double-Spend, etc is, Articles about not product till your Bitcoin Payment has received at least 1 confirmations, There are 3 in some cases but 1 is Primary.

Also, You'll learn about bitcoin the first time you use the wallet and send to an address.
The OP was asking if there are basic skills he needs to have before buying some huge sum of Bitcoin so I honestly don't understand the correlation to the question you post here.
Anyways I don't also think there is any much special skill needed then than you have to have an understanding of the market and to basically make sure your Bitcoins are stored in different wallet addresses preferably a Hard wallet and most importantly, your Private key/passwords stored safely and online too.
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB become the king of all coins on: January 21, 2022, 10:32:41 AM
I don't know about becoming the king of all tokens but I do know that BNB is a good project to invest in in fact it is one of my best investments in 2021 and I believe it will continue to do well considering that it is the native coin of Binance Chain and this has really given it that boost and I believe it will always be amongst the top 10 coins/tokens for a while.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too much of new crypto projects? on: January 21, 2022, 10:28:21 AM
Its been a very long time that I've been using coinmarketcap.com/new to find new crypto projects that just get listed on the platform and I've come to notice that every two to three days coinmarketcap always list up to 30 new crypto projects, how insane is that? It shows that more than 100 crypto projects are released every week cos some landed on coingecko first before coinmarketcap, this to me is scary
The last time I checked there is no restriction to developing new coins and people are going to do this because they know there is money in it and there are people that want to invest in most of these new projects because they think that can make quick gains from there as they grow within the few weeks/months before most of them die off again. Crypto is a space of Risk and some investors are high-risk takers so you will always see new projects coming out whether genuine or fake.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Hold is Gold on: January 21, 2022, 10:23:09 AM
I Holded Doge for almost 6 months it doesn’t rise as much was expected,i shift to c98 it’s also on downfall ,cause the father of all the coins BTC is also in dip ,now i am on hold of the c98 and expecting for its Shine,i think luck matters alot in trading not only Good knowledge.
Hodling Doge for six months can't really be seen a holding IMHO. HODling is usually years when you really want to talk in terms of investing in a crypto project for a long time and Dogecoin is not one of those coins with what we can refer to as a useable product so you don't expect it to rise like that outside the usual hype it gets. If you really want to invest in the long HODl, look for better projects than Dogecoin and C98 is good by the way just that the market is weak now.
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buckle up bear market is upon us on: January 21, 2022, 10:18:09 AM
What do you think is the perfect time to build a new portfolio? Bear market cycle can take 2-3years some times is it wise to build portfolio right after bear market takes over? Judging from past years coins and tokens loses 95% of their value but not in an instant it was a gradual process, I think same thing will happen
For me it depends on your earnings, if you are sure of weekly or monthly earnings, then doing DCA from now wouldn't be a bad idea because we don't really know when the market will make a sudden move in either direction but at least this will be for investing for a longer period instead of something you might want to sell off quickly.
377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Man lost everything to Crypto on: January 20, 2022, 12:40:32 PM
Real-time incident of an user who trained himself to be a trader. Got addicted and lost everything. Steven is the person who kept adding more cryptocurrency to his portfolio. In an interview he mentioned drug, cryptocurrency and alcohol has destroyed his life. In the beginning Steven knew what he's doing. Later he ended up losing around 5-10 bitcoins. He don't know any information about the addresses and now struggling to recover it.

He says trading is gambling. He has learnt by his own and has always been a good trader. Now he spends day in one of the rehabilitation centre in Scotland.

Data : Man Lost Everything to Crypto

How did he lose the address? if for any reason someone stopped trading for some time and you are still able to access to PC where you logged into your account and still have your login info, then you are good but I want to believe that this guy couldn't access his PKs or passwords to his trading account due to other substance and not cryptocurrency itself. Maybe he just further got depressed realizing how much crypto worth he lost because of his drug addiction.
378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can SHIB rise to 0.1? on: January 20, 2022, 09:36:05 AM
A few statistics: 8,000 US dollars, 400 days, 5 billion, the most awesome investment. This is SHIB.

Currently, the global cryptocurrency market capitalization today is about $2.09 Trillion, and with the current Shiba Inu Total Supply of 1,000,000,000,000,000 tokens, its market cap will be about $10,000,000,000,000 that $10 Trillion even if the price per coin was $0.01, this is more than the global market cap presently. For Shiba Inu to come close to that amount the total supply has to change to a much lower quantity.
379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The altcoin market has become scammer's playground on: January 20, 2022, 09:23:18 AM
After the initial success of Shiba Inu coin, I am observing that the altcoin market has become a playground for the scammers in most literal sense.

There are multiple projects now, which are showing 28000% return within just few hours of launching and then showing a steady decline. There are multiple examples,

Squid games: Defunct
Shih Tzu coin: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/shih-tzu/
Solar energy: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/solar-energy/
Mini BTC: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/minibtc/

Etc.

There are many others as well. It is a money laundering heaven. Don't you think such gold rush has to stop at some point. Otherwise cryptos will never be able to make its way into the mainstream world. People are buying from craps to garbages in the name of cryptos.

Voice your opinion.
It is what it is and will always happen like this because we the investors are the ones fuelling it all in the name of trying to make quick money, now most people coming into the cryptocurrency space are looking to invest in meme coins, and some new projects that they believe will jump a 1000+% in a couple of days and we have seen this too so, creators will continue to do it and rip off the desperate investors, the project dies once the take-off with your investment and the circle continues.
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Consolidation on: January 20, 2022, 09:15:05 AM
I hold 3 ETH, 10% of a BTC and $20k in Alt (60+ diff Alts) Am I crazy? I jumped in early Sept, only 5 months ago, and while I saw the mid Nov spike, I'm down 25% overall. Should I consolidate?

60+ Altcoins is a big collection. what, did you buy the whole top 60 Altcoin market Huh I believe there are some that are definitely good for holding for a long time but I would suggest you can reduce those Alts collections to the best 10-15 max and consolidate on both Bitcoin and Ethereum which are usually the top buys for hodlers for the long term.
