What the hell is happening with C2 again?
Mintpal is telling that it was attacked and they have attackers coin then what is the problem? kill those and let us trade.
I have 5+ btc value coin holding in mintpal, must get some way to from this if such things happens again again of course coin 2 will be dead. who will believe in coin 2 again?
what frighten me is that the total supply may increase again, and this time maybe another large surplus! and the attacker is happily hold his coins without any penalty. |

How did those coins disappear without leaving a trace? Is it because withdrawals are frozen? I cannot seem to find where the coins ended up, except the first address which still has 1m+ coins can anyone find out where they went? i think he succeeded double spending and still has 28 million. successfully dumped coins and dilute the market. all guess. need further notice from exchanges and devs. |

if we do this, can we come up with a different name?  I would rather not have Coin 3.0. Joel, I have a couple ideas for names. Let me know if I can chew your ear for 5 minutes. let us find out if we can survive or not first. if more surplus, the value of this coin will be further diluted. don't know what will happen now. |

i m sad. I sold some at 1.8k bought back at 1.6k . It went down but i was fine with it as it goes up n down. But now double spending. My coins are stuck at mintpal =( what's the solution?
no worries your coins will be safe dev and the team will do everything to fix the problem ^^, 500 million solution even worse than the attack. if we accept 500 million plus, we are dead for sure |

Dam....thinkin of it now this person really put their balls in their hands and had to of spent a ton of money to acqire those coins....
Tighten the screws on them.....start new coin redistribute percentage wise to all accounts except his...voila they lose all that money and shows you guys arent fuking around.
If coin has new name...shouldnt be a big deal. Game is not out as of yet and could transfer all project names into new name....long term if you guys are legit (which i believe) this will be a blip on the foundation...you guys come out of this again it will show you will not fold up when things get tough..
On a personal note must be tough to deal with on top of life itself..props

It is very tough....I was in a very important meeting when I heard about this. I had to sit through the meeting with it on my mind. Pretty rough. I am asking the team and all of the community(that means you) to find the solution to this. I do not think Asiacoin did anything but start over. I do not know how to destroy the attackers coins. I will read up on it but I am also babysitting at the moment and my kids are priority number one. So I need some scouts. i don't know if i am wrong. but seems the scammer already dumped all the coins he have. can we confirm it with mintpal? if so, can we reimburse mintpal with our reserve? then no one get hurt but only the reserve. The reserve is not big enough to cover the loss. If they have the attackers coins and his account, I will start the coin from scratch like we did when we went from POW to POS. I will figure out a fair way to distribute the coins he had to everyone. so if mintpal is keeping the attacker's coins, we are good. we can start again, and we can figure out a fair way to distribute the surplus. but if mintpal is keeping the attacker's coins, why they claim such big lost? Joel, we have to confirm with mintpal and sort out as soon as possible. |

Surely there is no way there will still be a wallet with 28m in it. Whoever did this must have spread them around now.
still there. devs, do it quickly. we are running out of time figure out a way to invalidate that wallet, and fairly redistribute by airdrop or something like that. reimburse the exchange from our reserve. and let us know the solution. we want our investment safe and worthy as before. |

NO, absolutely do not increase the supply any further, and definitely not 500m that will make all coins worthless
i suggested this a few pages back. I propose a solution similar to asiacoin
invalidate the attacker's coins. Convert all 60m coins into a new coin (with the same total supply) then redistribute the amount of coins that the attacker owned to the community and those who took a loss. or keep some to fund the game development, I'm not sure how the logistics of redistributing coins to hundreds of people will work out.
also make the top wallet list transparent so whoever tries this again will be taking a huge risk
whatever the solution is, it cannot benefit the attacker or they will do this again

2. Try to get people to pull their coins from exchanges and make sure they are staking. This will still leave Mintpal short and we might lose them as an exchange. It will also leave the attacker with all of the stolen coins.

If you started a new coin would we get an equal amount of the new coin as we have of NC2? Yes same as before....this time we would make roughly 500 million and keep 400 million in a public account where everyone can check on it. This would give us enough coins to reimburse Mintpal and all C2 users. This time someone would never be able to buy a 51% of the total staking coin. 500 million will make our investment priceless? is there anyway to keep same amount as before? |

I personally drink a beer and took some antistress remedies. I experienced so much bad things regarding cryptocurrency in last months, therefore I can't take this sh** seriously anymore. What could devs say now is that they investigate things and try to deal with exchanges, and of course think of problem fix. lol. volatility and fraud are mainstream right now in crytocurrecy world |
