Don't forget peer to peer is also a great way to find someone willing to accept your local currency, or even any currency you have. I myself trade with 2 major currencies, and Localbitcoins is easy to find someone who matches my currency query. Wherever you travel, just switch the country/currency, and there'll be plenty of traders online. Just I would suggest to stick to online trades as those are secured by escrow.
P2P's a good way to get your first Bitcoin, imo, just to get that feeling of exchanging with an actual person.
As I remember, the crypto exchanges is created to avoid P2P risk. Specially when big amount is on it, many people can set up some shady trap in that actual exchanges easily. Correct me if I'm wrong. |

Yeah, they already refund all the money/capital they collected to erase all the back feed back about their project. But the sad part is they didn't pay all the bounty participant on their project. The vision of this project is good but in the current time, that vision is not welcome around the world for the reason that most of the countries need to protect their medical information and didn't allow some one to hold it like this project, add the low tech of some countries.

If there is any govt crack down in major crypto trading nations then prices will tumble anywhere from 30 to even 50%. Just removing some exchanges in Korea from price valuations, tumbled market by 30% recently.
It's the common nature of the crypto currencies, like a little boat in the middle of the sea. Easy to move by small, big and different kind of waves that has a difficult current under the water. 2018 bitcoin status is a quite dramatically down fall than the expected one, specially on the first and second quarter of this year.
