Atletico Madrid finally managed to make it to the victory against a quite tough opponent two days ago. Their opponent was Betis and we know how good they have been doing in this season so far. They were even two points ahead of Atletico Madrid in the table. But Atletico Madrid were really well-prepared for this one and they simply destroyed Betis with their huge performance here. Betis couldn't even react much to this. There was a 3-0 result at the end.

The most profitable team of the last week were Chelsea. Because they won another match by 3-0 against Newcastle away this time. And their biggest rivals lost valuable points in their own matches. Manchester City got a very shocking result against Crystal Palace home (0-2). And Liverpool lost their advantage of being 2-0 ahead and drew with Brighton by 2-2. As a result, Chelsea pulled away a little more from them.

And in this match week, we have a really huge match between Manchester United and Manchester City in Old Trafford. This is going to be really tough for both sides surely. Manchester United want to maintain a win streak and recover. And Manchester City want to make up for the disappointing loss last week. When I checked the head-to-head matches in Old Trafford in the EPL, I saw that we didn't witness both teams scoring in their last two matches (0-0, 2-0). But this time, it feels like it will be different. My primary choice is both teams to score.

And today we are starting another match week! And the match of the day seems to me like Atalanta - Manchester United. It is one of the important matches for Manchester United in terms of their recovering phase. And it is one of the crucial matches for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also. He got one last chance in the match vs Tottenham and he should be really thankful for his team that they won it by 3-0. But he still shouldn't be comfortable at his position as he can still get sacked in case they continue to get bad results as of this match. But in my opinion, Manchester United will obtain a decent victory at the end of this match.

It is really good to see Westbrook gathering strength lately. Last night, Lakers got a home game against Cavs and beat them by 113-101. And Carmelo Anthony also had a really awesome game. He got 24 points and 5 rebounds. He was nearly becoming the top scorer of his team but Lebron was by 26 points. Westbrook got 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists which was really good for him. Maybe he will have a hard time returning to his old days in terms of scoring. But he can still make a big contribution to the team as long as he keeps up a good form.

Considering the results we got today, Bayer Leverkusen really struggled and were finished by Wolfsburg in their home stadium by 2-0. I was having my doubts about their victory as I said before but this result was not very expected for me. Leverkusen conceded 2 goals in 3 minutes and this lessened their morale a lot. But the rest of the matches in my prediction ended like I expected. I was not completely sure about Bayern but they were still my favourite of course.

To me, it was.    I respect your opinion that you don't think it is funny. I think like that because it is really weird to see Barcelona sacking Ronald Koeman not much time after Laporta said that they trusted him and wanted to continue with him. Suddenly he changed his idea. I think that this is a disrespectful attitude towards a coach like Koeman. Laporta should have made a statement like they gave one last chance to Koeman and would end their business with Koeman in case the team continue to get bad results.

All of the top 4 clubs will play their matches on the same day which is tomorrow. And in these matches, my favourite sides are like this:

Bayer Leverkusen - Wolfsburg
Dortmund - Koln
Freiburg - Greuther Furth
Union Berlin - Bayern Munich

Maybe I'm waiting for all of the favourite sides to win here but I don't feel like all of them will make it. Maybe Leverkusen and Bayern Munich can have a hard time in their matches.

It is good to see that we are starting the match weekend with a nice match like Leicester - Arsenal. To me, Leicester are the favourite team here. People say that Arsenal have done much better in the recent times. But I don't care about it and I still believe that Leicester are quite powerful for being able to defeat Arsenal home. But it wouldn't make me surprised to see a big competition of course.

It is really funny that Laporta made a statement like they still believed in Ronald Koeman some time ago. But after a very little period of time, they have decided to sack him. First the loss in the El Clasico and this defeat today. This was the final straw I guess. I really don't know whether the problem is mostly about the manager. Because most of the players are quite new to this league and they are trying to adapt to play as the Barcelona we know. But of course, I'm curiuos about who they will bring to manage the team.

They actually had a good form considering the results they got before this match came. Maybe they weren't winning their matches by big gaps but they still weren't losing and it was a good sign for them. But we were still able to see that something was not completely right about them. And we saw it in this match vs Sassuolo. They struggled really much. It was like they were going to make a comeback after making it 1-1. But Sassuolo ended their hopes by dealing a final blow.

After leaving another good race behind, we are going to watch a new race in Mexico in only one week. And including this race, we are going to watch three races in three weeks consecutively too. And this is just awesome for people like us.    The last laps of the US GP were very exciting and I was like "That's it. Hamilton's just flying and he will get past Verstappen in one of the last laps and win the race.". However, it turned out that Verstappen increased his pace and didn't let such thing happen. We can watch another close competition in this Mexico GP also. Hamilton has to win to prevent the point gap with Verstappen from getting bigger.

Some time ago, Neymar announced that he was really tired mentally and he was thinking of retiring from his national team and maybe it could be even a complete retirement. I wonder whether he will play at his national team until the end of the World Cup. What a shocking result we got in the Manchester United v Liverpool match yesterday. I was never waiting for watching a match like this one. Liverpool were the overwhelming team and they were very effective in attacking. Manchester United's defense was just useless. Especially Maguire played one of his worst games I guess. He was booed a lot. De Gea was the best player of the team for sure. He still did his best while his team were being destroyed. A 5-0 result is very embarrassing and a very tough period of time is waiting for Solskjaer now.

Nice - Lyon match today was a very enjoyable one for me. Because everything changed about the way the match was going in the last ten minutes. Lyon managed to lead the match by 2-0 until then. But who would have thought that Nice would manage to make a huge comeback in a very limited period of time and win? First, they decreased the gap by 1. And after that, Lyon got a red card which was an opportunity for Nice to get at least one point. But they didn't make do with a draw by scoring two goals in the 89th and 90+3rd minutes. What a big 3-2 victory for Nice it was!

Fenerbahce are going to play a home match against Alanyaspor today. And I see that there are going to be many absent players at Fenerbahce. S. Aziz, A. Bayindir, I. Kahveci, Kim Min-Jae, Osayi-Samuel ve M. Yandas are not expected to play. Fenerbahce lost their last match against Trabzonspor away by 3-1. Actually, Fenerbahce got 1-0 ahead but Kim Min-Jae got a red card and the rest of the match was a nightmare for them. They will want to make up for this loss here. And I believe that Fenerbahce will be the winner.

We could be witnessing a resurrection by Barcelona from now on. They have started getting good results lately. First, they won their La Liga match against Valencia and then they defeated Dynamo Kyiv by 1-0 by having a very big dominance in Camp Nou. Bayern Munich's results(s) they got and will get against Benfica can help Barcelona rise to the second place. Let's see what Barcelona will do against Dynamo away.

It was speculated so many times that Koeman would get sacked after getting terrible results over and over again. But the president Laporta stated that they still believe in Ronald Koeman and they decided to continue with Koeman for now. This was a surprising statement to me though. I would expect him to get sacked surely. But on the other hand, their main problem doesn't seem to be the manager. Their problem is that there are so many new players at the team and they are in the adaption phase. This is a long process in the end and maybe the team won't even reach the level we would like to see before the end of the season. But the most important thing is to see them playing like real Barcelona at the earliest opportunity.

It was a very productive day for Dortmund and Bayern Munich both. Both of them got very comfortable wins. Dortmund didn't have much problem against Bielefeld even in the absence of Erling Haaland because of an injury. They won by 3-1 away. When it comes to Bayern Munich, they hosted Hoffenheim and destroyed them by 4-0. They are still one point ahead of Dortmund in the standings having the lead. Bayern Munich scored nearly 4 goals per game considering the statistics (33 goals in 9 matches). They are having a remarkable performance lately.
