Ashwin is gone and India is down to the tail-enders. Once again it was Jack Leach, who provided the breakthrough. Nice comeback from Leach, after the thrashing he received from Rishabh Pant during the first innings. A consolation for India would be Virat Kohli scoring his 28th test century. He is batting at 68 now, and with some support form Nadeem, Ishant and Bumrah, he may be able to reach that milestone. Apart from that, there is not much to do for India here. Another 245 needed for the win, which looks unrealistic.
As expected ENG won the match by 226 runs and Joe Root the player of the match and he deserves it. Lot of criticism going on about Indian captain for sure and he lost 4 consecutive tests in a row. There is a 4 day break before they play second 2nd test match, can they make it in the same ground?
362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 09, 2021, 06:38:30 AM
They will try and hold on the crease as long as they can because their primary focus would be to end this match in a draw. If they cannot then they will lose this match and some media houses in India will start pointing fingers on Kohli.

64 overs left in the match and only 4 wickets are in hand, even one wicket goes down from now the match is going to end so for now there is no hope for even getting a draw as a result for this match. Toss is crucial for India to be in this situation but Indian batsmen failed to deliver in their first innings which cost into huge lead even after getting ENG all out for quick runs in their second innings.

IMO, ENG is on the lead in this series with 1-0. Smiley
363  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Don't trust web wallets, don't trust exchanges, then where to trade? on: February 07, 2021, 02:01:15 PM
So, how do you trade in these cases? Only p2p exchanges? But it's not flexible and you may miss a good time frames where you could profit 1-2% of your balance.
Use exchange for trading not for storing that is the actual content of not your keys, not your cryptos. But if we are going to stop the centralized exchanges then you will lose profits as a trader so you have to accept such risk that exchanges can be hacked at any time. So just move funds to your wallet if you are not going to trade in the near future.

For example, you are trading at Binance and the exchanges got hacked where you had few thousands worth of cryptos but the exchange itself claim that all the users funds were protected by SAFU which means the exchange will take the responsibility for the hack and they will pay the users from their pockets.

^^ yeah and seems right way, still 180-190 overs left in this match. 120-130 overs should be enough to get 10 wickets during the last inning on the 4th-5th day pitch.

Lower order and tailenders can only delay the outcome, unless both Sunder- Ashwin produce some blinder.

......
England should use Archer-Bess combination for last spell.
Last pair who can play longer innings, if one wicket goes down then it won't take more than 5 overs to wrap the tail.So far Ashwin and Sundar is playing very patiently, but morning session will be more crucial to bat on so I don't think they can pass the 1st session. And even if ENG started with 250 runs lead they can simply score 150+ with fast scoring rate and ask their bowlers to do the remaining work because 4th and 5th day not going to be very easy for betting.
365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 07, 2021, 06:53:43 AM
Won't be easy to draw the match unless someone from the Indian team play the innings like Joe Root played for England. Indians are already two wickets down with only 59 on the board.
Pujara and Rahane can be the one who can play long innings which is important of they want to draw this match.Rohit Sharma again failed even in the subcontinent ground?! that is hard to accept. Still 60 overs are left in today's game, can Indian batsmen play throughout the day and give some fighting spirit to their visitors.
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins are more friendly with Bitcoin? on: February 06, 2021, 06:14:24 PM
LTC, Ethereum, BCH, or other altcoins; which ones will be used in combination with Bitcoin in the digital future ahead of us?
More friendly in terms of network speed? Transaction fee? Privacy? Transparency? Or based on what terms???

Each crypto is somewhat created with an existing idea so basically, very few networks are real and all the others are clones with minor changes from Bitcoin or ethereum.
367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How to merge many small balances into one with no harm to privacy? on: February 06, 2021, 05:33:25 PM
Because by combining all those outputs which are left over from previous transactions together in a single transaction, he links all his previous transactions together as belonging to the same person. These transactions could be anything from buying a coffee, to buying a car, to depositing to an exchange where he has completed KYC, to depositing coins to his long term cold storage. If you wouldn't publish your credit card history on Facebook, then you don't really want to link your entire bitcoin transaction history together for anyone to see either.
It seems the user concerned more about the fee than his privacy and since he is talking about consolidation he is going to send all the funds to one address which may be new and not connected to any of the KYC verified accounts but still, the amount will be known. I will not be worrying unless I am buying a lambo with BTC which I consolidated. Grin

Thanks for letting me know about the multiple deposits to the same session at Chipmixer which I never knew.
368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 06, 2021, 02:58:15 PM
Indian home conditions are not supporting Indians bowler.
Or players haven't been given chances who deserves it?

I guess we are lacking one pacer to be honest because we can't expect the 2 pacers to bowl all day or at least the inclusion of Pandya might give them an option but now only two bowlers with less variety then it is impossible to take wickets in the initial days. It is not going to be that much easier when Indian batsmen come to the crease because already 2 days gone so there will be a lot of wear in the pitch so it can reap more spin and that is exactly the advantage of winning the toss for them.
369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How to merge many small balances into one with no harm to privacy? on: February 06, 2021, 01:48:56 PM

You can use Chipmixer which is free to use, you can decide to pay any amount you want.
Actually the minimum chip size is 0.001BTC and OP already mentioned that he want to consolidate funds lesser than the minimum size so it is not possible for him to use Chipmixer unless he consolidated it.

@OP why do you consider sending all the small transactions to one address can be harmful to your privacy? If it is your wallet and you are sending it from your addresses then it is not going to be creating any issues right?!

Or I am understanding anything wrong here!
370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 06, 2021, 12:39:52 PM
Joe Root leading from the front and everyone chipped in with their performance and they were able to reach 550 runs which is a really great score considering India had three spinners and the England batsman were able to counter everything and was able to score runs. Kohli will be under pressure to perform and save the match as India performed well without his presence and if India is defeated then you will hear voices about changing Kohli as a captain.
Root was exceptional as expected. Without his contribution, England would have been in a pinch. They will probably end up posting a target close to 600 unless the Indian bowlers pick the tail-enders off quickly.

Sharma and Bumrah impressed me the most since they took 2 wickets each and were very economical when compared to the rest. I agree with your statement about Kohli getting in trouble if India loses this series.
Joe Root is getting better and better, what an extraordinary inning to be honest and also he is scoring at good strike rate as well throughout the match but finally Nadeem managed to take his wicket. Even if they score 580 still it is going to be a big task for Indian batsmen, hope they will play as deep as possible and they have to cross the follow on first then can think about the leading runs.
371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 05, 2021, 06:12:44 PM
India will have to bat 4th and on the day 5 assuming India is batting so will not be an easy pitch as what it is today for batting. And with England getting such a strong start with just losing 3 wickets for 263 easily they should score 450 runs and India's first innings would be very crucial as they either should take lead or atleast be at par with England score. Unless India take last 7 wickets by giving around 100 runs tomo so would be a good game on hand for them.

India also has a strong and deep batting lineup so the match is not going to be one-sided even after the huge run score but the only issue is players are not in good form so they need to play very cautious and don't repeat the mistakes that they did in AUS series. Batting as long as you can is important in a test match than scoring runs hope Pujara and Rahane will do that job.
372  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Funds in my coinbase vault stuck for very long time on: February 05, 2021, 04:25:17 PM
I got 3 responses from coinbase on Feb 5, but the same auto generated reply as what I received on Dec 5 2020. Extremely disappointed with their coinbase support system, they are shit to the core to be honest.
373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 05, 2021, 01:57:42 PM
And when the English bowlers comes out to bowl, it is not going to be easy. I have been to Chennai once, and the weather is really challenging. At this time of the year, it can be really hot and humid. It will be impossible for the pacers to put in more than 15 overs per day.
No wonder India is fielding spinners and just two fast bowlers, England played really well to score 263 runs on the first day even though they lost a couple of quick wickets. I thought India will keep on picking wickets but Joe Root and Dom Sibley rescued the innings and put England on a strong position and they still have Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler to bat and they can score well over 400 runs from a strong situation like they are in.
Since it is just the first day there is not much of turn for the spinners and India is laying with 3 spinners so as the match progresses we can see much spin from them for sure.Well, ENG looks too strong even they lost their 3rd wicket and from here they are going to score as many as runs possible like 500+ for sure in my opinion. Watched a few overs in the morning and it really went too boring, to be honest. Cheesy
374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 05, 2021, 04:33:03 AM
Anyone watching the 1st match between India vs England?

England won the toss and elected to bat first and the pitch looks flat so going to be high scoring test? Smiley
375  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Better App or website for multiple transaction with lower fee on: February 05, 2021, 12:47:38 AM
EOS is another network with a cheap transaction fee even to multiple output addresses. Personally, I have never done this so I don't have much knowledge about which wallet supports Multiple output address on Tron or EOs or something which is cheapest than ethereum network.
376  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: An interesting thought about spending signature campaign payouts on: February 04, 2021, 03:14:11 PM
but better keep those funds in Electrum before sending them to any exchange is recommended because if you are facing any issues on receiving the coin then you will be in trouble if both ends are not in the control of yours.
Keeping them in an address in electrum doesn't obfuscate where the money comes from. If they are strict, they will still ask you or find out where the money came from before getting deposited into the address.
Just saying that we need to take control of our funds first not to erase the trace of the transaction or anything related to it. Because if we send funds from casinos to exchanges directly it may take too long to get credited since most casinos do batch withdrawals and also some casinos don't provide the txID until it confirmed so we also can't able to find the fee details or anything about the transaction until it confirms.
377  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: An interesting thought about spending signature campaign payouts on: February 04, 2021, 11:57:15 AM
So I was thinking about what people do with the BTC that they get from signature campaigns and converting it to fiat.
There are a few places (Coinbase comes to mind) that do not like BTC that comes from online gambling and will close your account because of it.
There are others that may or may not keep some track of what they think are "tainted" (I hate the expression) coins.

So, if you are in a campaign for a casino or if you are one of the ChipMixer people, do you keep your payouts sequestered a bit from coins you may want to convert to fiat one day?

Just bouncing this around in my head, no idea if anyone else thought about it.

-Dave

Not many of local exchanges and p2p platforms like LBC doesn't have any restrictions to deposit BTC from any casinos so there is no worries but better keep those funds in Electrum before sending them to any exchange is recommended because if you are facing any issues on receiving the coin then you will be in trouble if both ends are not in the control of yours.
378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is INDIA going to BAN Bitcoin Again? on: February 04, 2021, 09:26:33 AM
These are first world problems. India can't even deal with its social-economical problems yet the thirsty government is fast to milk the people. They take away something which could take the people out of poverty.
The worst government in the world. How many resources are they wasting arguing about this?
Not only India, but almost every government also want to prove their diplomacy over the benefits to the people, even when they don't even understand exactly what is bitcoin. But with the above few posts, they are just trying to ban the cryptos used for illegal activities not the exchanges so we can expect the regulations instead of complete ban.
379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 04, 2021, 07:08:58 AM
You already answered your query in your own reply.

Their majority of target audience are from the Subcontinent hence the names Maratha, Bangla, Qalandars etc

I still don't understand why the BCCI has a complete ban on Indian players participating in foreign leagues. They should at least allow those who doesn't have an IPL contract. There are promising players out there, such as Ashok Menaria, Manimaran Siddharth and Baba Aparajith, who never get a chance to play in the IPL. If they are allowed to participate in leagues such as the Abu Dhabi T10, then it will be a big boost for their career.
AFAIK, if anyone plays for leagues which isn't organized by BCCI then they will become ineligible to play for team India as well as IPL so there will be no more career for those players if they played for other leagues. Which seems unfair but India don't want their star players to make money for other countries that is why they have such a rule in place.Don't forget crciker is one f the biggest politics ground.
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best & worst time to trade Ethereum? on: February 03, 2021, 05:25:34 PM
No need to complicate things. Just use https://etherscan.io/gastracker to know whether the gas fee required is high or not so decide whether you want to broadcast your transaction with such amount. The average value might be lesser at that time period you mentioned but still it is going to keep changing according to the volatility of the price.
The volatility didn't mean a lot in the gas price. The traffic in the blockchain does it as it has scalability problem.
There are so many things that can affect the gas price. The block itself will be also affecting how much gas that consumed by the senders to be confirmed by the block. Sometimes there's a block that consumes less fees than average fees but in another time there is also a block that consumes more fees than the average gas fees.
As long as those shit tokens takes the space of ethereum blockchain this is going to be never ending issue but this spikes up only when the price hikes up for sure. Few months back people debated that ethereum is the fastest and cheapest coin to transact but now they are facing the issues.
