Anyone mind explaining the pattern to that? I admit, I am bad at math.
363  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BEWARE OF Raveldoni/SamTseudo on: December 12, 2014, 03:53:32 AM
Confirmed. This was brought to me a couple weeks ago and looks like it played out just as suspected.
I received the following message from someone tipping me of the same as well. It was in regards to the atleticofa hacked thread in meta. I told him to post his evidence in the thread, but it doesn't look like he ever did.

Regarding the atleticofa account, it is clear SamTsuedo used to own it. He used it to bump his legendary account sale thread and give raveldoni positive trust for no reason.

He sold the account in this thread. Matches the description perfectly for the 2013 account. He also spends a lot of time in the altcoin section, so it matches the guys claim that his account was compromised via some altcoin wallet.
post that in the meta thread where he says his account was hacked.

I would also need to post all the evidence linking the SamTsuedo and raveldoni accounts, as well as all his other alts. I feel like he is just going to remove the trust ratings/posts that link the accounts, so I would need to get together screenshots too. As soon as he is actually accused, he will start hiding his tracks a lot better. I'll do it later today, I'm kind of busy right now.

Funny, take a look at the trust of athleticofa. He thinks it's me....
Funny, a scammer reporting a scammer.
364  Other / Meta / Re: Can we have newbie jail back, please? on: December 11, 2014, 10:12:42 AM
It's not to stop the occasional bot, it's to stop users from creating new accounts several times per day pretending to be somebody else. A side-effect of this is bots being stopped.
365  Other / Meta / Re: Can we have newbie jail back, please? on: December 11, 2014, 09:57:46 AM
We've always had bots, any forum does.
Not if we had newbie jail. At least in the main sections.

369  Economy / Digital goods / [WTB] Some Battlefield 4 DLC key(s) on: December 11, 2014, 06:55:55 AM
For cheaper than here http://www.cjs-cdkeys.com/products/Battlefield-4%3A-Second-Assault-CD-Key-for-Origin.html because 13.26 euro is over 16 dollars. That is too expensive for a single DLC.
370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microsoft is now accepting Bitcoin on: December 11, 2014, 06:52:36 AM
Amazing news, but it just occurred to me, more people loading $ in their accounts means more bitcoins being sold by Bitpay/Coinbase/whoever.

Yes, and that's a good thing. More people using bitcoins will result in a higher price. The more they get sold, the more they'll be bought. More demand = higher prices.
Well, it actually means the price will be going down as those payment processors will be unloading more bitcoins on the market.
371  Other / Off-topic / Re: Aliens vs. Predator vs. Terminators, who would win? on: December 11, 2014, 06:41:13 AM
The terminator should win, but if the Xenomorphs realize their blood could dissolve the T-800 then who knows. The T-1000 on the other hand should prove to be much more difficult to kill.

What should I do, transfer the bitcoin to a different wallet.?
User #1 on the scammed list. I wonder how they do it, reading between the lines and scanning for the download button...

For a phishing attempt it's very poor, if he could use HTML, why not hide the link at the very least? <a href="malicious url">visually real url</a>
375  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Should I Invest I think its a good deal on: December 10, 2014, 06:43:29 AM

Look at that, both you and the CEO of that KickStarter campaign are named Michael.  Talk about a coincidence.

Good catch. And considering his poor choice of a pseudonym, his passwords are likely even more insecure.
376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When was the birth of Bitcoin? on: December 10, 2014, 04:02:40 AM
Misusing 'K' for 'Ki' has killed. It it a stupid pointless anachronism that must stop.
You and what army? A lot of people including myself have used KB as kilobyte as 1024 bytes and I'd rather it remain this way. Perhaps we should also start calling bytes octets, as that is the proper word.

Here's the explanation how to sign the message

Just to note:

If you can convince me that they belong to you (signing a message with the address is obviously not enough; the private key is already known),  I will send the funds back.
Just sign the previous address from which the funds were transferred from(their outputs)
378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When was the birth of Bitcoin? on: December 08, 2014, 12:10:17 PM
Well, depends on what OP means, Bitcoin was in development many years before it was announced. And the genesis block(number 0 in bc.i https://blockchain.info/block/000000000019d6689c085ae165831e934ff763ae46a2a6c172b3f1b60a8ce26f) contains the message "The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks" so Jan 3, 2009.
379  Economy / Digital goods / Re: 🔑CHEAP MICROSOFT WINDOWS OFFICE ADOBE KEYS [7YEARS+][70+ FEEDBACK][AUTOBUY] on: December 07, 2014, 04:15:35 AM
Why are the keys so cheap when the official retail price is hundreds of dollars?

These are MSDN keys, not official retail keys sold in stores meaning you couldn't go to Microsoft's site and redeem an MSDN key there. MSDN keys require special downloads then you redeem the keys on the downloaded software provided.
Can you explain more? If I use this key can I get support from MS, or is the key tied to somebody else's name?
380  Other / Off-topic / Re: Collisions for Hash SHA256 will kill Bitcoin. on: December 07, 2014, 04:12:57 AM
>Talks about collision and SHA256
>>shows md5 as example

Where is the logic in this? As far as I know there have been collisions in SHA256 up to round 40 I think, not afterwards.
