C'mon whales! Can you crash Bitcoin to $550 or let it go to the moon already?

This is so boring, no one is making real money in a sideways movement (850-950), this is getting worse that one "Tired of $140" thread as far i remember, should we start a new "Tired of $900" one?

Patience is a virtue! In 2 weeks time thinks should be a bit clearer. I still believe there is money waiting on the sidelines.

I doubt home mining is going to be around by the end of the year, though Cointerra and KNC have both been up front about this. Everything in Bitcoin is evolving quickly at the moment, adoption is up, massive advances in mining, I just wish the price would follow suit. Here's hoping that once the China situation which seems to be hanging over everyone like a dark cloud is out of the way, we see the price improving.

I also think it's quickly going to turn into a 2 horse race.

People in here need to calm down.. Where exactly has anyone said about stuff being late?? They were always advertised as Q1/Q2.

Yep i have no problem with it.

My problem is my jupiter gets about 0.2... at 1Th.

I wanted to buy a few more to keep myself updated against diff rise. They told us to keep some coins handy. I bought only 7 ants to keep the coins for the Jupiters. If I'd bought more ants I've mined back about 80%of the coins.

That is my problem.

I hope you understand.

Sorry to say but it's not about the network anymore. It's about risk, ROI, profit, loss. It's business. They gave false information.

And yeah, I'm angry now.

You have a 1TH Jupiter?? Oct or Nov?

Yeah, I admit I'd like another Jupiter, just to get myself back into the 1BTC a day club, but sounds like it's out of their control. Better them being straight though I guess.

Agree with you on the profit/loss side of things, it's hard to plan more than a few weeks ahead with Bitcoin as a whole.

1421 pages. I wonder what percentage of that content is OT.

on topic - KnC - I want an update on the status of the Neptunes, please.

Neptunes are still very much in the preliminary design phase. As much as the timeline will be reduced significantly in comparison to a standard engineering project at 20nm, if such exists, because this is absolute bleeding edge we want to be absolutely sure what we commit to silicon will ensure a successful product at the end. This initial phase will not be rushed.

That said we have completely re-written and optimised the RTL code. The Jupiter project was very much focused upon safe speed to market and the window of opportunity hashing power presented in this present finite period prior to significant competition. The Neptune project whilst adhering to aspects of the aforementioned must focus upon power consumption as it's primary trait if customers (you guys) will be able to compete successfully over a longer period. We know that we are reaching limits on standard household circuits, we want you to remain competitive w.r.t. the unfolding mining landscape and we are all to well aware that electricity costs will come into focus in the not too distant future.

So where we are now is that we have a working FPGA code and are in the process of testing that and tweaking any further refinements before it's submission.

With respect to the speculation above we sold out of Neptune's last night.

Thanks for the update and congratulations on selling out. Do you know if there are any plans to ship with a PSU, or if we will need to provide them ourselves?

Also, bit of a daft question, but in the reseller accounts the neptunes are broken up by batch, if for example i had sold 9 from batch one, and 1 from batch 2, would i still be eligible for my bonus unit, or does it have to be 10 from one batch?

Yeah I'd like to know that too! Last news post was from 31st December. They claimed that they started shipping that day bu there have been no news updates since and no one on the forum seems to confirm receiving any units so far.
http://hashfast.org/List_of_Lies#We_Are_Shipping comes to mind.

About the italian cuisine... What can I say, I'm writing from an Italian pizzeria in Dublin Smiley

If HF has such a lick-ass kickass marketing team, then why didn't they invest under twenty bucks to secure hashfast.org?

Agreed! I have hashfast.co.uk which they didn't register either. Was originally hoping that they'd do a reseller scheme and I could use the domain, now just stuck with it. Might sell it.

Yes, Neptunes will be gone very soon as it seems...

Curious whether there will be another batch of Jupiters 'coz there's a risk for KnCMiner that many might jump the Neptune ship and switch over to some Jupiters they get way earlier.

Yes thanks for sticking your reseller ID around the image  Roll Eyes

He's only 3 off a Neptune now. Good work!

he could of sold more than 7 as they don't get updated that often.

I've sold more through my reseller ID and figures haven't changed yet, even when I login to my reseller account.

They change every day (depending on if you have sold anything), normally around in the afternoon. Mine just updated now.

What if BTC Guild goes down with a soft/hardware glitch for a day? Where will those miners aim there mining power?

Back up pools. It happened over Christmas actually, their site went down for a few hours so i just switched to Slush until it was back up.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: January 09, 2014, 12:06:50 AM

No.

I canīt believe that an reseller has made 10 orders and now on the last two machines they count for any other unknown
reseller. I bought this machines by my self and all paid, and now they tell my the last two ones will not count for me.

I have  an big problem, because when I have sold / bought 10 machines I will get one for free, and now they explain me this BS.

PM me the dates and amounts of the stuff you are missing. I will have a look in my reseller account and if that information matches with the dates/amounts I'll email them in the morning and get it swapped over to you. Obviously it may not be me, but it's worth a look if it could potentially help you out Smiley

377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: January 08, 2014, 06:57:00 PM
Argh, we're heading for a world where each of us is renting some massive industrial unit with its own en-suite power station. Saving up every BTC we mine just to buy the next miner that comes out in 6 months time and still only making 1 BTC a day because everyone else is doing the same thing.

Got to be better than running it from a basement. Damn it's toasty down there today!

Cypher, you know about electricity, how many Neptunes do you think I can run off a warehouse with 3 phase?

Thanks

 Huh Huh Huh

Talking of reseller accounts, does anyone know if there is a limit to how many you can sell?
