Why don't you just cache odds with Cloudflare since you're using them anyway? Annoying to have "searching for games too often" all the time.

Very cool.
I'd also like to be able to sort events by matched amount, or some other mechanism to see where people are actually betting.

Why would people bet with a book that voids your good bets? (i.e "steam plays", or whatever they want to call it)
364  Economy / Gambling / Re: JETWIN.com | No.1 bitcoin sportsbook | 100% Bonus | Instant Withdrawals on: April 02, 2015, 07:32:54 PM
Is it true that if I bet and win more than 1000$ my account will get limited?I am planning to bet a few 20BTC bets(and expect to win hehe).

We do not limit winning players. We have a lot of customers who have made a solid profit at JETWIN, and they still bet with us on a daily basis.

Our top priority is to run JETWIN responsibly and to provide our clients with secure, fair and playful betting services. Betting “Steam Plays”, engaging in arbitrage, or hedge betting will be considered irregular gaming and irregardless of betting account's profit or loss will be limited.

That's really ill-defined and bad, and you can't possibly detect this reasonably..

Have you guys figured out what's wrong with bets not being matched even though they should be, on normal non-postponed matches?

Yes - it is not a problem of the matching algorithm but it is a caching problem. The odds (and matched amounts) you currently see on our website are cached and probably already outdated.
We will release an update very soon where you:
a) get real time information
b) see the full order book in a betfair like view.

OK, please post an update here when it's done.

Hello together,

it is not ready yet but we can give you guys a preview here: http://188.165.246.217/event/category-decimal/soccer/ (This is our test-server)

If you have any comments or wishes for this view please let us know. One thing we are thinking about is wether or not to "revert" the lay odds. Betfair does not do it so maybe people are more used to it. So the odds for lay (against) bets are the odds the backer gets. We changed it so that the "layer" actually sees what he gets. So we need to decide if we use a system that is (in our opinion) better or a system where most are used to.
It looks good and I agree that keeping it more similar to Betfair is better.
Are the odds also live or are they still cached?

The website is down.

In what reality is it reasonable to play at a bitcoin sportsbook that confiscates all your funds if you happened to not read the entire Terms and Conditions?

Getting this quite often:

This is odd! Has any other user the same problem? We have never seen it. What browser do you use?

When it happened I checked in both Chrome and Firefox, and it was the same. A few minutes later the odds appeared again. It's happened more than once. Maybe it's the market maker adjusting the odds? Doesn't explain why it says there is still a lot of unmatched though.

Placing bets at less than covered amount, yet not being matched:

Could you give some information about your market maker? Who are they and what's your relationship with them? For example if someone were to win a large amount from them and they were to threaten you to void the bet or lose them as a partner, how would you react?
Already have very good experience with you but I think it would be good if you shed some light on this.
374  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetBTC | The First Dedicated Bitcoin Sports Exchange | 1.8 BTC Contest Reward on: November 29, 2014, 10:17:42 AM
As a previous user of betabit.co.in, there really are some striking similarities between the sites as CoinTheCoin pointed out, as well as a few other subtle things.
It's nothing close to conclusive at the moment, but even disregarding this potential avenue, I would still highly suggest to be extremely cautious as befitting such a site and given the "rich" history of bitcoin gambling site scams.
It especially doesn't help when it all sounds so sleezy. "The First Dedicated Bitcoin Sports Exchange", definitely not. Trying to deflect all criticism with the claim that it's just a beta? Having a Support "Team" when you aren't going to get basically any liquidity in the near future?

Plot twist: the spammer has been hired by dmf to divert attention from the useful posts. In fact, dmf IS the spammer.
But wait. There's more. For, in fact, the spammer is dmf, who is also....Satoshi Nakamoto.

Clearly it's always been known that the management and moderation on this site is absolute shit, but can someone please ban this person already?
377  Economy / Gambling / Re: dice.ninja - Now with Plinko! on: October 18, 2014, 05:35:30 PM
I don't understand why this guy isn't banned already?
378  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetcoinSports.com-LIVE NFL & SPORTS BETTING, Casino, Poker, Promos & More! on: September 20, 2014, 12:44:43 PM
The sportsbook seems to be quite slow. Perhaps it's inherent in the system, because gobetgo.com which uses the same system is slow as well (in fact yours is faster).

Hi - was this in live, or pre-live?

Attempt to bet on a game -> "Sorry the odds for this bet has changed. " -> refresh page, odds still appear the same -> attempt to bet -> "Sorry the odds for this bet has changed. "

Happening for example on Roma vs. Cagliari at the time of this post.

EDIT: In fact, happening for many football (soccer) matches at the moment.

Pre-live and still occurring at the moment.
