361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ARB a rising star ? on: April 08, 2023, 05:44:03 PM
I think it's too early to say Arbitrum (ARB) is the most promising L2 project because ARB is a new altcoin and its resilience against the ups and downs of the crypto market is untested. there are still a number of L2 projects such as polygon (matic) which have proven promising and proven to be resistant to crypto market conditions, apart from that MATIC's position at cmc has also continued to rise.
It's definitely too early to judge ARB to be a rising star or anything as it's too new in the market and it hasn't been doing very great after the launch even though it was too much hyped when the airdrop was about to happen. On top of everything, it's an altcoin and altcoins are always too risky and anything can happen at any time with them.

So it's probably the best practice to just take it as any other altcoin and invest only what you can afford to lose. Investing in altcoins is way too risky and can pose serious threats to your capital, especially if the token is new.
362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: April 08, 2023, 08:03:51 AM
I think that people are free to do what they have to to have some extra money, and if it's something like recommending it, it's not a bad thing, I also think that all of us who live in the forum and on other platforms are also here because this Children like it, and there is nothing more rewarding than doing what you like and getting paid to do it, I think that's what it's all about, right? If you put love into a job, I don't think you'll be knocked down, I know there are many envious people, and unfair accusations can be made in the jobs, it's the common denominator, but when it's shown that this wasn't the case, that's where it's expected To be retract, then earning by recommendation is a very good thing, at least I see it that way.
Gambler or everyone is  obviously free to do what they have or want to do, and when it comes to referring people to a website, especially if it's a casino platform or a platform that involves investing money, the best practice is to tell them everything and leave them with a warning that they should do this only at their own consent and you will not be responsible for anything that happens to their funds.

Doing that, the decision of whether they wish to join or not will be totally on themselves and you will not be guilty nor be called greedy for referring people to places where you earn money while they lose money ultimately.
363  Economy / Gambling / Re: My list of good crypto casinos on: April 08, 2023, 05:02:00 AM
There is no doubt there are a lot of bad losers out there, many gamblers actually believe they can beat the casinos at their own games and when they do not accomplish their goal they think they have been scammed, however as soon as you read their complains about the casino you can easily realize that they have a completely mistaken idea of what gambling is about, and as such it does not matter how much they complain and how loud they try to be as no one will listen to them.
That's true. People with anger issues tend to follow that pattern when they face losses in gambling, some do it purposely while others simply can't get control over their anger and are compelled to yell it out at someone so they do it on the casino instead of blaming themselves for their losses, we see a lot of examples for that even in the forum.

Such people need help, literally. Those who know that they are mistaken and blame the casinos for their losses with no anger issues are useless people and deserve to be ignored, while others with anger issues need help to recover from this.
364  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What do you buy/want to buy with crypto? on: April 07, 2023, 08:45:18 PM
I am new to this forum all I want to say is that you can buy domain names, pay for web hosting, maintain servers and leverage VPNs with your choice of cryptocurrency and wallet.
The question is not about what you can do or buy with cryptocurrencies, but it is about what you want to buy with it, and to be honest, though the desires of every individual differ from each other, there aren't actually a lot of options available for anyone to fulfill their wishes even if they have the money required to buy the things they want.

For now, if someone has enough cryptocurrencies to buy something that they wished for, the only option they have is to convert them to fiat and then use that money to complete their wish, or they can wait until cryptocurrencies are accepted worldwide for them to be able to purchase that thing.
365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 07, 2023, 06:08:06 PM
Today's match of Italian League has already started. The match between Salernitana vs Inter between these two teams is almost over now. Inter is now leading by 1 goal. But Inter can score another goal at any time. They scored a goal in the first 6 minutes of the game.  Inter is leading now. I hope Inter will win today's match.
The match had ended and Salernitana managed to score a goal before the match was over and with this result, Inter did not get a win in their last four matches in Serie A. Also, if Inter continues like this then of course Inter will be a team that the three teams below might overtake and maybe, Inter will drop out of the top six.

Maybe before that not many of us thought that Inter would continue to decline, but the reality is that Inter at this moment do not seem to have the ability to survive in the top four. Because yes, only playing against mediocre teams, in reality Inter still failed to get full points.
What an end of this match as Inter was looking for first win after having three defeats in a row, but Salernitana's last minute goal give them fifth draw in a row and one crucial point which can bring them to safe zone and surely now Inter can slip to sixth because Roma and Atlanta having easy games in hand in case of win both will jump at fourth and fifth and Inter having not good time with just 4 points from last five games mean things going from bad to worse for Inzaghi now after few days they are going to face Benfica in a quarter-final of the Champions League if they are having performance like this surely Benfica will give them another below, and they can face elimination from this event as well now they have few days for bringing changes and have better result in this match.
366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indian Premier League #IPL on: April 07, 2023, 07:00:15 AM
poor performance by rcb,

kohli needs stop acting like a little kid high on sugar.

shardul definitely showed he's got minerals.

i didn't loose much but it was disappointing to say the least.

today's match : lsg-vs-sh

my money's on sunrisers.. gl to me!
We could also say that it was a good performance by Kolkata Knight Riders as they deserve appreciation for what they did against one of the strongest sides of the tournament. KKR's run rate wasn't very pleasing initially, 3 of their wickets fell very early in the innings, though I predicted KKR to win, the beginning made me think for a little while that maybe I made a wrong prediction.

But eventually, they managed to win the match with a pretty large margin of runs remaining. KKR's bowling was as good as their batting, the early wickets of Virat and Faf Du Plesis by Narine and Varun were the game-changers in my opinion.
367  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Investment: Good Debts vs Bad Debts on: April 06, 2023, 02:12:51 PM
Now from explanation, you said, bad debt is meant to buy things that would not bring any value income to the capital amount that has been spent. That it is used to acquire things that do not grow but stagnant even they have value in nature but not increasing.
While good debt is the one you borrow and used it to buy something that will increase the capital which means the money borrowed is not stagnant, it rising and falling investment and that is where bitcoin investment fall into.
Therefore using the borrowed money to buy bitcoin is not a bad debt but people are not advise to use borrowed money to buy bitcoin because of the risk involve in it.
Generally, that should also be considered a bad debt since the debt has a certain period after which you will need to repay it or the interest will keep building up, and if you invest the borrowed money in Bitcoin and the price drops and doesn't go up before that time reaches, you can't sell the Bitcoin as they are in loss and you can't pay the debt too.

That is why it is never a recommended practice to borrow money to make any investments, especially if it involves a significant amount of risk like cryptocurrencies. Even if you are planning to do business with borrowed money, you need to have a well-thought plan so you to not turn it into a bad debt.
368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any casino site offer Ludo game? on: April 06, 2023, 08:42:40 AM
I love to play Ludo game with my friend in this case i use popular Ludo game (Ludo king) Here we can play ludo together with another friend through an invitation code and also invite social friends to play ludo through social media accounts connected. I have not found such ludo game in casino sites.  Can anyone find a casino site where i can play ludo but bet with bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies? Then it will be more fun for me.  I think it's more fun than other gambling games because it has to be played with your critical  Brain.

Several online casinos offer Ludo games and accept cryptocurrency as payment. One example is Bitcasino.io, which offers Ludo games that can be played with Bitcoin. Another example is Stake (if I'm not wrong), which provides Ludo games that can be played with various cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin.
You don't even know what you're talking about. You have no idea what LUDO is and how it plays. I think you think of dice game as ludo.  Because there is a picture of Ludo dice. Dice and Ludo are completely different games.  Here it has nothing to do with the each other.

You thought it was LUDO lol
As soon as I read his message, I went straight to Stake.com, though I've known that Stake doesn't offer Ludo, but for a second I thought that maybe they do offer it and I didn't notice, but I looked everywhere and there was nothing found, and as you said, he probably doesn't know what Ludo is and has confused himself with Dice being Ludo.

I believe he didn't open the games and checked what they look like before making that comment because if he had done that, he would definitely know that Dice games aren't Ludo, but he just checked and saw a couple of Dices on the wallpaper and thought it's Ludo.
369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: April 06, 2023, 06:29:23 AM
while it is too early to talk about whom to choose(as candidate) still we are not sure who will be the candidate per party so  maybe talking about this is not to be tackled now(unless we are Biden supporter)

But talking about the topic , I am not interested in any form of political gambling as I once tried betting in our local politician that ends out being cheated and lose.

and also one thing is that there are so many place where to bet.
Is there corruption in your country? Because if there is, you have simply wasted your money betting on the elections in that case. A corrupted system can never be stable and there will always be changes happening around, and when it's elections season, you better stay away from betting on them because the elections are where the biggest corruptions happen.

I believe if bookies have betting open for the elections of the USA of 2024, they probably know who the candidates would be, or you can simply bet on the parties that the candidates come from, so that shouldn't be a concern, but who the winner will be, is obviously what requires some research.
370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: April 05, 2023, 08:25:20 PM
The presence of AI is still being debated because some feel that AI can help many human activities, including finding complete information. The AI itself is still in the development stage. And maybe if AI can develop to a more advanced stage than now that can really help human activities, we will see how this AI works.

Today's AI developers are still trying to perfect AI technology, which doesn't stop them from achieving what they want. And the popularity of AI itself will slowly rise so that we can use AI properly. And maybe later, we can use AI to find more and valid information that we can use as additional information to bet.
It might be under debate, but the reality is that it already is helping many human activities, the activities can range from writing emails to helping developers with their coding activities. I know that it isn't perfect, everyone knows that, but it does well and with a little tweaking done by a human, the work it does is perfectly useful.

But, that doesn't include gambling or betting, because that isn't something it can do very well. If you ask it to do some research for you or analyze a match and give you a pick based on that, it might do that but the result will surely not be perfect and accurate.
371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Skill Based Slot Machines on: April 05, 2023, 04:41:11 PM
This is the first time that I read about the skill based slot machines, and I think that this is not good news for me: as a not highly skillful person, I could still stick to luck if I ever was to play slot machines. If now skill is required, then my options to win any prizes will be reduced even more. And, as other people said, I don't think that the the owners of the machines will make it easier to win by implementing this.
You are probably misunderstanding the whole concept here, the implementation of a skill-based bonus round doesn't mean that the luck factor is removed, there cannot be a game of gambling that can be won without luck, no matter how much changes, developments, and implementations are made for it, it will still be a game of luck at the end of the day.

Your winnings will still be dependent on luck even in a skill-based slots machine, the only difference will be is that you will be given a bonus round where you can maximize your winnings by playing a skill-based game since we don't have any more information about it so far, that's all you should know for now.
372  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: April 05, 2023, 04:00:00 PM
For any Casino that is under the law of any jurisdiction, or being regulated by authorities of any jurisdiction, I can say that I believe its a sham when any of such casinos tell us that user's data are encrypted, I do not believe it at all.

But even if truly, users data is encrypted as they claim, the encryption may likely be against scammers and hackers, not against the authorities, for I know that casinos will remove any encryption when it is requested for by the authorities.
Almost every licensed and centralized casino that requires KYC say that they have to comply with AML and regulatory rules that are imposed by the authorities, knowing that fact, it is obviously not wise to think that there can be encryption of users' data for the authorities, because how would the Anti Money Laundering authority check if the users are not going against the rules?

And, if someone is caught or suspected of being involved in something that goes against the laws, their data is definitely shared with the authorities, so there is basically zero encryption of users' data when it comes to authorities behind the casinos.
373  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Signals vs Own Analysis on: April 05, 2023, 06:15:22 AM
we only take 3,4 and 5 trades, we are in a loss. Therefore, now I am not doing trading all the day. When I am free, I spend some time to analyze the charts and find some opportunities to enter the trades. Please share if someone has a different story.
Following the signals of people from signal groups is never a good practice, and it can cause you badly if you are not careful and not doing any analysis of your own before taking any positions. Even if you join a group and follow the signals, you should first do your own research and analysis before blindly following them.

If you don't know how to do analysis, you should learn first, starting from the basics and then moving to the advanced techniques and chart reading patterns. If you are a long-term holder, you don't need to go through any of that.
374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: On which Sports do you like to bet apart from the listed one here? on: April 04, 2023, 09:26:20 PM
Boxing , wondering why this is not on the list considering so much conversation happening in this sports for years?

but I also love betting in Horse racing as this is one of the most popular in my region.

but in the listed I will still add basketball as I am a player and putting bet in most of our game happening.
Boxing is probably one of the most betted sports out there and a lot of people use online sportsbooks to bet on boxing matches, we even have a ton of boxing discussion threads here in this section which proves how popular of a sport boxing is when it comes to sports betting. I'm not really sure if Horse racing is that much popular though.

I find horse racing to be a very difficult sport to bet on because you can literally not do enough research to know or understand how to place your bets considering the fact that any of the participants can win based on the strength and stamina of their horses which can't be known so easily.
375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How honest and transparent are casinos? on: April 04, 2023, 08:48:01 PM
Just like all businesses mate , they use to have their own way of luring players and depositors and with all those promotions and promises?

I'm sure that there is no 100% guarantee that those are true and reliable , because as what mostly said? gambling site are here to take Money and with giving so much , I believe that it will be harder for them to gather more.

maybe all we need to check is about the game play setting if they are giving higher probability in fairness and not cheating players with good paying system.

those are the factor that we must learn and have aside from bonuses and giveaways .
It's obviously a known fact that all the promotions and bonuses that casinos create are to lure more players towards their casino so that they can earn more money when those gamblers lose money, and I'm positive that they can pretty easily afford to give away that much money to players eligible for the bonuses but the transparency can sometimes be questioned as said by OP.

The giveaways, bonuses, and promotions that are given individually are obviously not rigged but the general public can never know if they have really done what they promised if it's something like a random drop for a certain number of players.
376  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duckdice.io Fake Trustpilot Reviews on: April 04, 2023, 07:14:39 AM
Thanks for confirming (& was more in terms of if there was payment for general reviews which would obviously have implication of needing to be positive). Good transparency and responsiveness by the team!

Seems like OP is having the opposite effect in terms of trying to make Duckdice look bad  Grin
He probably wouldn't care even if the plan he made has backfired at him as he can easily create another account and start doing something similar probably targeting another platform next time in pursuit of getting some money by blackmailing them or targeting their reputation just like what he did in here with Duckdice.

That is the reason why he uses newbie accounts for all this so that even if he fails, he don't have to face any consequences for that. He probably does it with the mindset that what can possibly go wrong even if he fails? And if succeeded, he gets money.
377  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia and others, move to use Yuan instead of dollar. on: April 04, 2023, 05:21:33 AM
This is what could be referred to in international politics as power tussle in terms of international levels of analysis. Haven such two conflicting countries like China and Russia coming together based on mutual economic interest against a common rival the USA is one that could be very frustrating for the US dollar with the unambiguous leverage and advantage the likes of Russia, China, Iran and Saudi Arabia have come together to give to the Chinese Yuan. With Russia in the forefront bent on the use of the Chinese Yuan instead of the US dollar in their country and in all of it's transactions and trades settlements with Latin America, Africa and Asia countries.
I've read somewhere a couple of days ago that China is making international trade with a number of countries using its own currency instead of the US Dollar and the reason they've given for this is to cut the costs of the trade, which can be true but we all know that it isn't the main reason behind this, there is probably a plot behind all this.

But, I believe that the US Dollar has a pretty strong influence on the world economy and is used almost everywhere, online as well, so it won't be an easy task for any country or a couple of countries to try and shatter this influence.
378  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your take on the price? on: April 03, 2023, 05:35:26 PM
To focus on Holding also requires analysis, when to buy and when to sell. It's not easy to do Holding if money management can't be done properly. Short term or long term both have advantages and disadvantages. Some traders prefer to make short-term trades because it is fast enough to make a profit, but it requires good trading skills, strategies and knowledge.
and a strategy that is really effective and safe is to do DCA, it will be better to apply it in the long term, so that it will accumulate more and more assets and when the price rises there will be more profits.
This is a good observation, often I see newbies that believe that in order to hold their coins they do not need to do anything except buying and keeping their coins for the long term, and while for an inexpert eye this may seem like the totality of what a long term holder does, this is not true, a long term holder also needs to know about how the market moves and the best moments to buy in order to maximize their profits and minimize the risks they take, otherwise holding their coins will become incredibly difficult for them.
That is true only for a specific group of people who have either bought at a higher price or have money in spare to buy more when the time is right, but those who have bought at a very good price and will all their capital are not really supposed to worry about any of that, and all they need to do is to hold on to their coins for as long as they can.

For example, if I have bought Bitcoin at $28k, but I still have some money left, when the price goes back to $25k or something, it will be wise for me to buy more. But, if someone has bought at $17k, and has nothing left to buy more, even if the price goes back to $16k or something, they just need to hold and do nothing else.
379  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance - a new problem on the horizon? on: April 03, 2023, 09:38:23 AM
The lawsuit against Binance is currently worrying many as everyone wonders what will happen to their deposits if the allegations are proven. Because we have known for a long time that Binance is one of the most popular and reliable Crypto Exchanges and everyone has deposited their money with great trust.
I also have some money deposited here so my question is what will happen to everyone's money if the allegations against Binance are proven. Can those who have deposited money in this exchange withdraw their money?
The account balances of users are not an issue if there is something very severe like the closure of the entire platform, they will surely give their users time to withdraw the funds from their accounts, but you should imagine the impact it will have if the authorities succeed in this and they get Binance on its knees and they will be compelled to close the exchange down.

That will be a nightmare for the whole crypto universe, it's the biggest centralized exchange out there with all the liquidity and tokens listed, I wonder where all the users will go if something like that happens.
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What if its falls! Will altcoin survive? on: April 02, 2023, 06:16:45 PM
Aways, but the question should be, which altcoins will die in the next bear market? hard to know
Well, it's not that hard to know, all you need to do is take a project and evaluate it from top to bottom, start from their website, read the whitepaper, check their docs and resources, their social engagement rates, the interactions of the public with them or about them, and the influence and interest of other big names or projects if there is any.

Once you are done with that, you will pretty clearly see if the project has got any potential or if it is just empty from the inside and is only here for a short while. Now do that with every project that you want to know if will exist in the future or not.
