KGW patch, and fixing for 60 seconds block time. right now the parameters are for 40 seconds(?) 2. recompile wallets with the latest OpenSSL library 3. maybe changing BCC to something else. there are already 2 other coins using BCC - Bancor Coin, and now BitcoinTalkCoin. (i think BoschiCoin was the first to publicly pre-announce BCC on this forum) I am making this thread moderated. to try avoiding disgusting photos

I will open a new thread to fix this coin, and changing BCC to something else is very easy
there are 2 more coins which use BCC... but this coin was the first to be traded in cryptoaltex and cryptorush.
this is not nice.. on the beginning this coin made you some fees (if you take trading fees)
and now that its not being traded you just delete it ?
of course no one who bought it for thousands of satoshis will want to sell it for 1 satoshi

and easier to 51% attack
i am sure that some evil multipools already did that to few coins
double spend into exchange
and then you buy coins which disappear

maybe one of the altcoin wallets ?? which one ? i was concerned long time ago that people might put nasty things in their innocent 'altcoin'.. Hope none of you had any shitcoin at Cryptokk. If you did they are now all gone. From the website Yesturday one of our server got attacked by the rootkit Azazel ( http://blackhatlibrary.net/Azazel). This happened straight away after installing some new coins. The malware was into a daemon, compiled from the github sources. The hacker started to withdraw funds on this servers. Not a lot maybe, but enought to make us unable to pay the 4 other servers this month, because we should refund the customers. I was alone on this project, all was doing well. I never received a complain message for any issue.. Pro in security... I can't believe an open-source soft got me. Nice done. Had the night to decide what to do. Spent heavy time on this, was hoping to continue for a while. I'm leaving with all your coins. It's even not enought to refund myself. I lost time and money. Cryptokk wasn't just about money, did it by passion, wanted to use my skills to help and provide great services. I can't take the risk to continue and make the things worst IRL. I'm very sorry. bitcoin is for ASIC and it didn't disappear  scrypt on GPU will just be waste of money for electricity (already is for many miners) i have buy somme cinni and hold, i just hope it hit 10k sat, but if you are sure that it will hit 100k/sat, why dont you now buy them all and make X40 profit. 100k/sat is imo only possible if BTC hit the stars, i bet this in next months or few years, BTC will be accept in 90% of all countries thats so evident , and when it will be, all the others coins will follow. and i bet too that, scrypt standard coin will be die soon, only will survive X11, sha-3, etc, all the asici-scrypt resist coins. the other will disepear, but thats just my opinion.  |
