Just hold your money till nxt release the open source, if you're uncertain. If it does deliver all the promises, I'm sure nxt prices will skyrocket, and you'll be left in the dust. Otherwise, good thing you save your money. It's a duel edge sword. Pick your battles wisely. Hell, I'm mining dogecoin. Isn't that worthless? I think not! XD Hell, people already trading dogecoin for steam games, btc, or other aptcoins. So dogecoin has value.  |

To get better ideas. Here's a better idea.. Implement a script that user has to type out the script, and it will produce the number, then you put that number into the captcha, and it should approved. The racks of my GPUs which I keep at home, thoroughly heat the place lol.. the 3,000sq/ft house I was in up until recently was easily in the 80's regardless of the temperature outside. Same for the new place. The neighbors must wonder what I'm doing, with windows which have several fans constantly blowing air inside the house, even when it's 25..30*F outside.
Haven't had to pay for electricity in months because mining has been doing it for me, especially a professional coin like Tag.
Mining is so much fun. Once you get the equipment to GPU mine, it's amazing. If nothing else, in the right situation, it will pay for your electric. Can't go wrong there.
Yeah, it's quite chilling over here. It's below freezing. Even though, I'm only running 2x 7870 OC, It managed to put my room to 80 degrees. I don't know what's the electricity going to be cost at the end of this month. :X |

I cant believe that since the Saturday release there has always been at least 1 DOGE thread (sometimes as many as 3) at the top of Bitcoin Forum > Other > Alternate cryptocurrencies. Ive never seen that with any other coin, ever.
doge is the new bitcoin  lel. Memes don't last very long. Shibe meme is about to die in the next couple months. Sure, there will be shibe memes but it won't be popular compare to the new memes in the future. |

This is a nice feature of Nxt, u can set 0% fee and still earn money. Then you are not distributing that fee to other person. Let's say if everybody decides to put down a 0% fee? Then nobody would gain coins through transaction. That defeats the entire purpose of nxt and thereby will render nxt as useless. |

Nxt should have mixing service, just like stablecoin. Mixing service should be used from genesis block(unspendable coins.)

Ahhh. Ok good. I was starting to sweat. I am a Unity3D developer. I was pondering in the back of my mind making a game (perhaps a few eventually?) that uses SBC for micro-transactions. This is just speculative at this point, but would anyone else in the SBC community be interested in working on something like that? I'm interested. Hey I'm very new and I'm digging the mining scene(zing). So far, I got everything working except I can't get my program running to the pool. I keep getting wrong username and password to the server. The connection to the wallet is fine, just the server. I boot up the bitcoin client through bat file start /DC:\bitcoin\bitcoin-0.3.21 bitcoin.exe -server
Then boot up the bat file start /DC:\bitcoin\poclbm_py2exe_20110428\ poclbm.exe -d1 --host=pit.deepbit.net --port=8332 --user=****@****.com --pass=*** --device=0 --user=**** --pass=****-w128
I get this. Wrong login or password: Basic **********
