I was thinking - why not get our heads together and put together a press release that can be passed along to the news agencies?
I've started something, see below, but my inspirational moment has gone!
See what you guys can add to it and then we can look at getting it out there.
"A new Bitcoin-like virtual currency has launched, based on the popular game Flappy Bird. Flappycoin, following in the steps of Dogecoin, was launched on 14th February, and is already receiving a huge interest throughout the Bitcoin style community. The value of Bitcoin, the most famous currency, peaked at over $1200 last year, but is currently worth around $620. There have been a number of alternative coins launched since the introduction of Bitcoin, such as Litecoin, Dogecoin, and the more recent Coinye coin, originally based on the rapper Kanye West. Virtual currencies are often known for their anonymity, and the darker side of the internet, such as the Silk Road website, where illegal drugs were traded. However, as virtual currencies become more mainstream, 100’s of businesses and services are springing up around the virtual eco-system."
All it takes is to get this on a couple of news networks and the story will spread like wildfire...... mainstream media gets the everyday people interested!

The coin names get weirder and weirder..
They should just playing the game be Proof of Work, and every pipe you flyby would be 1 coin.
To save me going through a bunch of posts, has this been discussed? A flappycoin faucet, which, instead of just being given coins, you earn them by playing an online version of the game? I'd donate towards that, for sure!

At the risk of repeating myself...... At current difficulty of Flappy (now 15.88 and Net Hash over 1.0GH/S - more than doubled since this morning!)...... 1MH/s per day makes around 63,500 Flappy 1MH/s per day earns you around 0.013 BTC on middlecoin.com TRUE VALUE OF FLAPPY: 100k = 0.0204BTC / over 20 Satoshi each! Why, oh why are people dumping them for 3 Satoshi each on AllCoin? ? I'm not complaining, hell, I'm buying what I can afford - but seriously - why? It's like having $100 and throwing $85 away!!

|
|
This just keeps getting better! net hash - 600mh/s and growing...... difficulty 9.59 current earnings per 1mh/day = 105,000 Flaps TRUE VALUE OF FLAPPY: 100k = 0.01365BTC / 13 Satoshi each!
Anyone with any spare BTC should seriously buy up the cheap Flappys being sold for crazy prices on allcoin.com.
Anyone with half a brain can see you need to HOLD your stock of these until the market price matches the value that the miners are working towards!
Tell me if you think I'm wrong!
(prices based on 1mh/day earning 0.013 on middlecoin.com)

Rate:
0.01 BTC to 1 Million Flap
I am looking to buy in bulk 2 million to 20 million
Please send to FGZU1vCdCvyUUMzRxTZsaungt7rtKPy6EQ
Then PM me with transaction id and Bitcoin address
Thanks
i will sell at this rate "At current difficulty of Flappy...... 1MH/s per day makes around 125,000 Flappy 1MH/s per day earns me around 0.013 BTC So.... to give you a 25%+ Discount, I'll sell: 125,000 Flappy = 0.01 BTC" No need now brought a load from https://www.allcoin.com/ mega cheap there Great! I'm looking forward to seeing where these go to be fair. Difficulty is up to 9.6 now, and the early miners are dumping wayyyy below their essentially true price. I think I'm going to hold on to them for at least a week to watch where this goes

This can be big
It can be big and people need to stop dumping mined coins at once lol! and give it a right value currently it's very undervalued. At current difficulty of Flappy...... 1MH/s per day makes around 125,000 Flappy 1MH/s per day earns me around 0.013 BTC So.... if you're feeling generous and want to sell with a 25%+ Discount, Flappys should be valued at: 125,000 Flappy = 0.01 BTC 1m Flappy = 0.08 BTC Or 1 Flappy = 8 SATOSHI...... As the difficulty goes up, so should the expected price!

Jumping on the bandwagon and mining quickly before the difficulty jumps up.
why? this is the fake one, the real one will be released tomorrow you are mining air Fake you say? Tell me more about that. How can a crypto, be faked? Another thing - just because these Dev's didn't announce it to the world beforehand, doesn't mean to say they weren't developing it first. Either which way, this was released first, and as you know in this business, 1 day in crypto can make a HUGE difference!

Selling my flappycoin, 1M for 0.1. PM to make an offer.
I'll sell you 2m for 0.1 and you can double your money Seriously though, if we could get 10m for 1BTC, that would make me very happy!

Who early who win If the no-premine is true (although I don't think I can see any blocks before 480 on the pool - correct me if I'm wrong), and it was just "launched", unless certain people were in the know, it was a "first come first served" release. Dont think there was any premine, I joined like a minute after the launch and there was ~30 blocks mined or so. Nice to hear. You must be a multi-flappyionairre! Anyone on here then can tell me, when I am on the pool, I click Transactions, then in the search box I can only get as low as block 480 - nothing else shows below this number? ie you put block 1, and 480 comes up. I'm learning, so I'm interested to know why I can't see any block below this.

Who early who win First to market is always a HUGE advantage. If the no-premine is true (although I don't think I can see any blocks before 480 on the pool - correct me if I'm wrong), and it was just "launched", unless certain people were in the know, it was a "first come first served" release. Either way, let the battle for domination commence!!!! 150MH/S and growing....

My wallet synced fine - so it's definitely working..... at least for some of us (ie it's not a general problem by the looks of it!)
115MH/S and rising!
