Is there any data available from the beta tester?
Hi, the entire initial testing group is providing us with valuable feedback. We have already implemented some small bug fixes and improvements based on that and rolled out a new version of our VPN client for testing. The group has given us some great recommendations and requested additional features that we are working on (like improved error reporting from the app). So far the testing has been a success as the testing group is happy with the performance and speed. One of our China testers has been able to use the VPN form there and reported that it works well. We are working to provide even more nodes from various locations and will then be opening up the testing for even larger groups. This feedback will help us complete the dates for our new Rodmap that will detail our milestones going forward. |

Thank you. We have already made the first update to the VPN client based on the testing group feedback, it has some minor bug fixes and improvements. The testing group will be giving feedback on that this week. We are also working on another version with some new recommended features from the feedback implemented. We are also working to increase the amount of nodes to expand the testing group to larger groups. There will be a Medium post on the Mysterion (code name for the pre alpha) client soon. Also expect a new and more detailed video of the VPN client in action. |

Hello, from our Whitepaper: https://mysterium.network/whitepaper.pdfAny person who has their identity registered on The Mysterium network can announce VPN services (compatible with the network's VPN service protocols) along with the payment terms these services will be available at. Other users of the network will be able to find services matching their specific needs (location, price, etc...) and use search results to establish a connection to selected VPN service providers and use the announced services. A consumer of VPN service and VPN service providers will exchange several messages to negotiate the payment terms (e.g. service metering granularity) and technical information necessary to establish the secured VPN session. During this negotiation, a consumer of the service will make a promise to pay for some amount for services to be received in advance and this promise will be updated by the consumer every time an extension of service is desired. The VPN service provider later will use this promise to clear payment via smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain. If the consumer's balance held in the network's deposit account is sufficient then the promised amount of MYST tokens will be transferred from the consumer’s deposit account to the service provider's account. |

Can't wait to finally have a feel of a decentralized VPN based platform. The centralised VPNs can only do so much. One mistake the Mysterium team should not make is building a decentralized VPN on centralised infrastructures else it'll turn out to be a disaster. Nezt month would be the first anniversary. But I always support this project because of nice idea I hope it will get recover soon and I think pre-alpha will make it closer. Thank you for supporting the project. We are finalizing the new Roadmap and that will give a much better idea of the milestones and expected dates. We are in advanced discussions with exchanges for listing. When the MYST token has been implemented with the payments system we will also be able to apply for listing on the biggest volume exchanges. |
