Just imagine this scenario: somebody running (trotting) and using a wearable like this: kaaproject.org/wearables/ and using it as a device for mining, can I use it for webmining?
It isn't that hard to imagine! Webchain adds a new revolutionary way to mine in a egalitarian ecosystem where CPU mining is highly profitable (when compared to GPu mining) and ASIC miners are not allowed. It's not part of the future, it's already happening.

Combining ipfs brand new concept, a period of time in the future will have a great influence on block chain, the future is belong to the age of network cloud, big data applications will become popular, block chain can solve the problem of security, is a promising application.
Thanks for your comment! Webchain team is working hard to help build that future (which is not so far )

I started mining, it's been easy although my pc is slow so I only have little less than 5 web as pending balance. My question is because it says "Credited coins awaiting payout"
Hello! As you can see on https://pool.webchain.network, there's a comment saying that the minimum payout is 5 WEB and that payouts run every 10 minutes. Keep it in mind!

Pretty nice way to show the pool statistics. Well done! Although there are some parameters that are not easy to understand by newbies. Do you plan on adding those definitions somewhere?
Thanks
Hello, thanks for your comment. Yes,we'll be releasing new resources to guide users. You can always ask for help here if you have any doubts.

Hello, set up everything and is my second time mining. The instructions to create the wallet easy. Well done webchain.
Thanks for choosing us to host your new mining experiencie. Let us know if you have any doubts.

The idea behind Webchain is pretty great in my opinion, making the blockchain more decentralized. ASIC has been the enemy of decentralization for decades, and more people are focusing purely on the profitability of mining, instead of securing the network. We need fully decentralized blockchain and low power consumption transactions verification method.
We appreciate your comment. Thanks. We believe in securing the network at the same time that we introduced a profitable solution for users.

I am getting error while trying to mine on pool
[pool.webchain.network:3333] error: "Invalid login", code: -1
If you have added your wallet number to the json file, make sure you added the 0x prefix. For example: If your address is 52a8029355231d78099667a95d5875fab0d4fc4d, you will have to write it like this on the file: 0x52a8029355231d78099667a95d5875fab0d4fc4d

Hhmmm so I can set up my own mining pool based on what you have on the github repo, that's pretty helpful because your pool has pretty nice stats.
I see you recommend Ubuntu 16.04... why not other distribution?
Hi! Good question. First, because it's probably the most well-know linux distribution, also because it counts on a big community supporting new pojects and able to help you out with doubts.

How to mine solo?
You can use these steps: 1. Start console: ./webchaind console (Linux) or webchaind.exe (windows) 2. start mining (in the console): miner.start() I keep reading about this project and it is turning interesting. Would it be profitable solo CPU mining on webchain? We appreciate your interest. Well, Solo mining doesn't entirely depend on the blockchain where you're mining, it depends on the processing power of the device you're using. I would suggest you to try solo mining (the steps are described above) and also pool mining, then compare which one is more profitable to you. (And let us know, along with your hardware specifications).

Hi, good project! I''ve read the whitepaper. I have a question: What does era legth: 100000 blocks ~11 days mean in the protocol next to era leght?
That refers to the time when reward goes down. It's explained below that protocol.

Thanks! This project seems to be very good for the community
Your feedback is always important. Thank you!

@alberto, it says it is a dual pc. (2 cores).
Most advised thing is to set the number of theads twice the number of cores (2xNcores= theads), you might want to try that and see how it affects your mining performance. You can set it on the json file, set 4 and see how it goes, then 3... or 2. It's up to your processing power. I tried that and now it helps. I just wonder why the json file comes with a "null" value there :/ Default settings.

This cpu mining bid, so will it have some control so that everyone can mine and be profitable, even if other users have a great hash power?
What kind of control do you mean?

I am newbie, i read that i must set the number of threads (i think i know how) according to my cores or the power of my pc. Do you know what's the best setting?
Hi, It depends a lot on the features of your CPU (number of cores basically), could you tell us how many cores does your pc have? So we can advise you better.

Wow, Network Hash Rate: 753.51 KH! Yesterday the hasrate was half as much. It seems that many people trust this project.
That's the main objective. Delivering a transparent, trustable blockchain where the community can mine. We are also open to answer questions so it makes users trust Webchain even more.

Project with a good idea, immediately develop this project for the benefit of quickly used the crowd.
The idea needs community support to reach its goals. On the other hand, we'd like you read why you think this is a good idea. We know it is, but we like comparing feedbacks.

I don’t think that mining is a profitable thing now..
I guess many of us are curious to know why you say so. Could you explain your reasons?
